Logs
#8293After 5km or so walking for a nearby trail, we limped into Tuggerah for lunch and an errand, then decided on a car-based afternoon. A major smash on the M1 has the highway completely closed, and any road nearby is a carpark with diverted traffic. Let's go bush! We're working on the 'olds cool' challenge in SA, so this cache appears on a special list of our most wanted. It was a great drive up into the hills, and a quick find. It's a pity the cache is in a bad state, we've attached a photo log as the log is pretty awful in there.TFTC!
#8292After mowing the lawn this morning, its time for some caching. Decided to hit this new series for a nice walk and a bunch more T3s for the stats! Beautiful day for a walk, not too hot, but nice and sunny. end of copy paste Were done our walk now, and to avoid the massive highway accident weve come in here for some oldies.Quick find here, certainly seen better days. TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache Ourhome
Easy quick find log is too wet to sign didn't have any paper on us to replace it withTFTC
Found it.
Log is soaked so unable to sign.
Left some goodies, took nothing.
Thanks!

We are going for a drive through the state forest because... why not. Finally decided to grab a few of the caches along this road.
This was a nice easy find for us, although we nearly got run over by a blue Ranger coming down the hill. Both the logs are soaked through, resembling a pulpy mess in places. We managed to find a dryish blank spot and signed before replacing the cache. Good to find another older cache.
Thanks for the Cache and the adventure!

Having just come from GroovyChook's classic *Richter's Caves*, where I entered the forest from the north at Yarramalong, I decided to keep heading along Red Hill Road to see where it popped out. Whaddy know - it pops out at the Tree Tops Walk place... via this retro cache. Can't resist a retro, although this one is in poor condition. In saying that the (new) log is double bagged and pretty dry. These old caches have a style of their own. This is our fifth Feb 06 cache. TFTC, Ourhome. Give it a birthday sometime if you can tho.

Thanks for the cache. Nice and snug spot. Did not sign but streamed the find. Great ride up Palmdale, found it and exited to Yarramalong. Thanks
Just in the area to check out the MTB tracks so thought we’d swing past and grab a cache. The iPhone GPS was playing serious havoc here and then TeenEz jumped out to help and walked straight up to it. Plenty of MTB’ers in the area today with the sun shining. TFTC
Mr Gaztek was in the State Forest with the SES for chainsaw practice. At the end of the day, he had the members stop and introduced them to the game. Great find out here. log was a bit wet. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Found with shaneo58 doing some around Mangrove Mountain, coming down from Newcasle/Lake Macquarie in the morning, getting up near the 20's deg later in the day. Nice quick find on the way home. This is the 3rd cache of 4 for today. Log signed and caches replaced as found. Thanks For The Cache Ourhome

Log was soaked so I added a new log sheet in a ziplock bag. Found with Taylapearce3, GeoJess and the Mad-Dawg. TFTC!
Found while caching in the beautiful mountains, log book wet and couldn't sign. Needs maintenance
Up here organising a nudist festival in the area and taking a break to do some caches.
If anybody reads this a new record book would be of assistance. Bit mouldy. Tftc tnln

Found with Mighty Minions. After parting ways with the_garbageman and his family, we headed back towards my car. Actually we drove right past it and realised when we got to my car in a big open bit. The minions were kind enough to stop and take me back, even though they had found it before. After the find we headed back to my car again and parted ways. The log was crumbly, so may need replacing or something.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Found 5:35 pm with Skypirate~. We were out in the 4WD doing a bit of 4wding it was my intro to Skypirate on 4wding so he was doing the driving. At one point he managed to get the truck up a large rock for which we just managed by millimetres to get clearance between from front bar and the rock face. Anyway headed over to the cache at the end of our play found it without too much drama. Found the inside a bit damp but could still write on the log paper. Then contemplated going out to Yarramalong Rd or back to Palmdale. Decided back to Palmdale.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Easy find! Left something, took something. There is a pencil in there but the log book is almost full.
I overshot the cache slightly and parked at the next available place I could, but just as I started walking back towards it, a ute went by, giving me an odd look. Unperturbed, I continued on, quickly spotting a likely hiding place and finding the cache in good condition.
Once back on the road, I spotted the ute again, this time stopped a few hundred metres further along. There were cyclists in the area, though, so perhaps he was support crew for those.
Thanks for an enjoyable hide.

First find for 2016. Signed log book 2. Easy to find and a good drive to GZ. The old log book was a bit wet but log book 2 in good condition. TFTC. TNLN. It has been a long time since I have had a find. Entered on iPad near GZ.
Next one on my walk today after finding the nearby cache at the tower I continued my walk along the well formed road to this one. At gz I made a quick find TFTC
It was a great day to be out driving and finding some caches. This was a nice quick easy find. Thanks for the cache Ourhome tnln sl
A fun adventure today, through yarramalong and cedar brush creek, and looping back through kulnura and jilliby state forest. 30 or so caches and lots of fun in the 4WD. Not a bad effort with 2 kids in the back (3 and 1).
Lol hadn't seen a car in about 25 minutes and then there's this bloke running up the hill right here! Keen. Too keen. Waved him through and then strolled back up to the cache from my parking spot. Quick find. TFTC TNLN

Easy parking about 50-100m south-west of GZ. Cache is very easy to find and easy terrain. The original log has been supplemented by some extra pages which I put in a sealed bag, so there's no need to be worried about the maintenance flag on this cache either. The road from Palmdale was very boggy though, I would not recommend coming up this way unless you have a 4WD.
Signed log. TFTC!

Nice and easy finding! Had to wait some bikes to go away to get to the cache. Thanks Ourhome !

I was in Ourimbah State Forest this morning specifically to pick up a TB I needed in order to be able to solve a particular puzzle cache, but never one to pass up an opportunity for a smiley, I stopped and grabbed this cache while passing by. And here, there wasn't even a need to find somewhere to park ... I just pulled up in the middle of the road and went for it! Thanks for the cache, Ourhome, and for the smiley.
This was a quick and Easy find.
Parking was tight and a few passing 4x4s asked if we were OK.
All was good. We had CIH very quickly.
Signed log and was Outa There within 2 minutes.
TFTC Ourhome.

Needs a new logbook urgently. The old one is turning into a pile of mush. A few sheets of paper have been added to the geocache as a temp solution however it needs some TLC.
The logbook is worse now than the 8/9/14 photo. A god location but needs urgent attention.
Fast easy find. Cache is in bad shape. Took nothing left nothing. Container is not water proof.
Our last day here so picking up a few we have missed. Didn't plan to come this far but...
Replaced torn bag. Logbook reasonable.

Sniffing out a FTF prize I found myself travelling this lonely road this morning, breaking in my new geoMobile. I had stopped for an earlier cache along this road but realised it was actually not by the road like I had assumed, so I gave it a miss (I was wearing thongs and not up for a bush bash after the recent rains) so was pleased to find this one was roadside. I found a place to pull off and trotted back to the stump I had spied, easily finding the cache within. The log is quite damp and a bit worse for wear, but I was able to mark my name in the book before moving on. Could do with some CO love though. Cheers for the find OurHome, a bonus smiley for me today
Team effort with Rharzwor. A quick park and grab on the way out of the state forest. Coordinates were spot on, and it was exactly where you would expect it to be. SL. TFTC.
Found with Spartman. Right where it should be! Spartman signed for me, since I somehow managed to get splinters all through the palm of my hand. TFTC!
Clever hiding spot. Log book was wet when found but left a few other bits of paper but didnt have any zip lock bags to replace the torn one. Found with COG072
Avoid the nearby thorns. Found with jtm00re. Logbook was a bit wet so we replaced the pages but really needs a new ziplock bag
Container wet, ziplock that contains the very soggy logbook is ripped but we had nothing with us to replace it. The container also seems to be off a bit from the coordinates (but is in an obvious place).
Found it, coordinates seemed off and the container is very wet. Will log a needs maintenance.
Find #1532 - 5 for today. Found on 12/07/2014 5:20 pm
Another quick drive by. Thanks. TNSLLN

Finally got a day out with mate auszxplorer06 to do some caching, as life had been getting in the way...... The day started off beautifully, the sun was out and it was warming up after the terrible weather we had been having...... But then sure enough, the day went south and it got cold and rainy again..... Didn't stop us though as we managed to push thru the wetness for a geocache day fit for a queen(s bday)
A lot of mist on the mountain ATM. I've driven past dozens of times in the past, oblivious of geocaching. TFTC TNLN
That's exactly where I would have put it and there it was...!
Nice hide. Log getting full now, will need a new one soon.
TFTC TNLN-SL.

I picked up the geocoin that Madrabbitoh had dropped off and dropped you've got the gun.[8d]
TFTC. I bid far well to my TB The Vespertillio Nightflyer. I do hope the next cacher continues its journey. This was my first TB so it was a sad time, but I do hope he enjoyed our travels... Good luck on your continuing adventure. I was happy again, I Collected TB Eat. Sleep. Cache.[:x]
After geowife looked in here and kept going I had a man look and found it. The sealed bag is a bit holey so the log is a little damp. Replaced bag. Dried out cache.
A great day for caching on the 12/12/12. Nice to find a cache bigger than a micro for a change - and in a lovely forest location, too. TFTC
Quick find while in the area for my 250th. This # 251.
Log book quite wet and full. TFTC TNLN.

Had a fun day with the geograndkids in Ourimbah State Forest. Only had time to find 3 including this one. thanks
Easy find if you ignore the coordinates and go by cache description and hint. Thanks Ourhome.
