Logs
Taking the lead from the previous logs, we decided to jump the gate and go looking for the cache. It's a shame this area is locked up bow as it was obviously once a scenic stop over point for people driving through here.We found the container without any problems. Thanks for the cache!
Well there was a padlock on the gate but we climbed the fence and made our way to gz via a walk up to the shelter. This was obviously a rest stop when this cache was put out but maybe now private land . Still a lovely spot for a visit, we replaced the paper, took a photo or two and went back on the caching highway. Tftc
It has been awhile since anyone tried to find this cache. As there was no sign on the gate I decided to have a go for it. At the location the cache was out in the open a few meters away from the logical hide place. The log was wet and I did not have any paper with me to replace it.It has been nearly 2yrs and 9 mths since found possibly due to the locked gate. Nice scenery at the site as well. Thanks for putting this one out for all to find.
I have visited this lookout before, I was so busy exploring I forgot to check for a cache. This time in search for the cache I find there is a new fence and padlocked gate.
There was to be sure, a great view here once, without the trees. And the atmosphere nicer too, however, the Moo's, the Roo's, the Poo's, the Flie's, the Mosquitoe's, and the Screaming v8 Hoon , Distracted the whole place just a Tad.

heading home from a camping weekend when this cache showed up on the gps so we made a stop & signed the log great views TFTC
I wanted to take a trip up the Clarence Way today - this was the first of three caches that I found. Made the find pretty easily, and the views were amazing. Everything is so nice and green, and there's plenty of water in the river. It was a completely different story only two weeks ago. So nice to see the countryside so healthy. Loved this cache - thanks so much pres and 1st lady!
Quick find after admiring the view, camped for a few days down at Lilydale Campground. TFTC
After a lovely night camping at Lilydale we made a quick dash up the hill to this wonderful view. Now off to Shannondale Creek dam.

Found at 11:08 AM GAFF1.
We were camped about 6 kms down stream last night and had a lovely view of the Clarence which was about 3 metres away from our caravan. This morning we packed up and headed for this cache which we we were amazed was by our good friend who placed it when she lived in Dubbo. Another fantastic view of the river as it flowed strongly after all of the recent rains.
Thanks president & 1st lady.
Feedback: The cache container needs to be changed from a regular to a small as it is now a mint tin as replaced by earthly65 in June 2014.

Camped at Cangai Bridge, and decided to go for a caching drive - 111.3 km in total.
Arrived at the location, to find a bikie muggle sitting playing with his phone. After chatting with him for a while, and eating our lunch, we decided it was time to tell him about geochaching. He had already heard and was keen to learn more. We found the hide, and returned it in record time. Maybe another convert. thanks president & 1st lady

We arrived at gz today to find the cupboard bare...it seems someone else had squatted nearby for a very different reason than caching and must have spied, and then muggled the cache.....gz was obvious so we replaced the cache with an eclipse mint tin and log, however didn't have a pencil to leave so future cachers will need their own pen.
A great day fishing on the Clarence and lying in the little rapids. No fish but found the geocache. Cooee loo and David
Found this one a week or so ago with my brother. Just make sure you have some sturdy shoes. And watch for snakes
Found at 1530 on a full day of caching and probably taking on too much as far as distance travelled today goes. Loved the choice of location as the view is pleasing to the eye. the track in is a little washed out but the walk down to GZ is very easy. TNLNSl TFTC president & 1st lady

On our way to the Gorge to camp so had to do this one and the others in the area, and glad we did. Good drive and great view.

Thanks for bringing us here, although I must say you should always turn on your GPS when caching as you tend to go right on past.LOL beautiful looking bovines in this area as well.
Drove out to find this cache today after attending church in Grafton while on holidays in Wooli. It's a lovely drive out here and my, how beautifully green all the countryside is after all the rain we've had this year. Looked at someone's photo taken in June, in the logs, and it is oh so much more green now. Not what you'd usually expect as the summer sun usually burns off the greenness. Dodged some cow pats and made our way to the GZ. Cache found nice and safe. Seems as though this is a spot where quite a few must wander as there were a number of muggles signatures in the log. Fortunately they'd all been good and left it here. It's been a while since it was visited by geocachers and yet it was still safe and dry. Left a couple of items of swag but I've forgotten what it was now. whoops - sorry. Might have been a squeaky duck and a bouncy ball and/or a squiggly animal.
Great lookout. Found at 1pm on our way south. Nice views, took some time to take some pics. Found cache which is in good condition,

A great view of the Clarence, especially to the right of GZ. The drive out to the cache was also interesting.
Some muggles were picnicking nearby but the cache was located away from where they were set up.
A quick find.
We enjoyed a nice lunch at Copmanhurst pub after finding the cache.

When we went searching for this one we found it very easily because it was uncovered. After signing log and rescuing 1st Stash geocoin for further travels geohusband and I spent some time making sure the cache was hidden again.
Thanks president & 1st lady for the cache.
Looking at the log we can't have been far behind gerrynewgirl and weroamin.
The younger members of our party scrambled around and found the cache before my old Etrex found the satellites.

Travelling with gerrynewgirl, we stopped in here to get onto the internet before we reached Grafton. Downloaded half a dozen caches and were about to move off when we realised that GZ for this cache was just 110 metres away. Der...... I did read the sign about Newbold Station. The rest area was rather grotty from rubbish and cattle pads but the cache was safe and sound. TFTC TN left token
Found in the company of weroamin just after we left our camp site. Nice view of the river from the lookout. Dropped in geocoin. TFTC.
Found this while a couple of muggles were hanging about.
But pulled a secret squirrel on them.

Great views over and a bit of noise coming from Clarence today. Still plenty of water going past this spot
TFTC, the bovinity was evident everywhere. Amazing irridescent colours on the flys laying their eggs in the bovinity doo too [:o]
Just thought I'd share that image with everyone [:o)]

Camping in the area for the last week. 1 of 11 today. Great seat at GZ. WIth all the flooding, we couldn't get to 'Be a Mann' cache as the causeway was really flooded.
while on one of my trips over the mountains called in for a break. area nearby had a fair bit of traffic due to tree clearing, one worker finding and putting a note in the log.
replaced cracked container had no goodies so could not replace as too much taking without replacing has left it a little light.
regards sid

This was our first time geocaching and our first time using a GPS and we did it.
Our 8yo found it with much excitement, he is super keen on treasure hunts and geocaching is now his favourite thing. He took the toy gun and left a Mater (cars) and 4yo took the stretchy lizard and left a glow in the dark lizard.
The box is cracked but everything in it is in good condition.
This is just down the road from our home, a place we regularly visit so finding one so close to home was a real buzz.

Found on a cold wet day - nothing else to do but waste a couple of hours and look for a cache. Been here a few times before as we are local. Found quite easily. Took toy car left puzzle cube.
