Logs
Checked on this one on the way to another near by cache. It's definitely gone again.
It's been muggled a few times, and there are others in the area, so it's gone.
Cheers from Barra

have asked for guidance about this cache waiting to remove from closest to home and believe it has been muggled
Searched this one for 30 mins on my way to SWI, but found nothing. Does'nt appear too difficult, so maybe it has gone walkabout! Will return another time, after owner has checked on it.
searched all over a couple of times to no avail maybe will wait till someone else finds it then will try again

Took a long walk over from Cobbler Creek and found myself in a familiar place. Too bad this wasn't online when I did SWI several months ago.
Finally able to tick this one off. Tried months ago when it was gone but not net disabled and spent ages looking for a non existant cache. A quick spot of caching on the way to a birthday dinner and found the cache within a minute. Took TB.

This was cache # 48 of 77 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. this was a nice reserve to take a walk in and the cache was soon in hand, I actually saw a cobblers shop on our travels around Adelaide. My thanks to The Barramundi's for the cache.
Found on a trip to Adelaide with ActsYouthGroup. Another walk on what was now a rather hot day. Thankfully it was short and the find quick enough.
Found this after waiting for ages for dogwalker to leave the area. Took geocoin, left a real one in its place. SL TFTC
I've been waiting for this one to come back online since last year. Finally it shows up as being alive and well so swung by after work today. Found where I expected it to be and privileged to sign the virgin log. Took nothing, left a TB and GC. TFTC
Didnt read the logs so didnt know this was offline. So in we went the hard way, walking, only to find you could drive right to it, searched for a while, then had the walk back up the hill to the car... Will check the logs next time....!!! Lesson learnt.. Tks for the walk anyway
We have confirmed that it has been muggled. New cache will be arranged soon.

Second unsuccessful attempt - is this still active - even had little fingers looking? Cheers.
Second attempt at looking for this one. Both times on the way to work.
Looked in all the obvious locations for a cache that might fit the description but no luck. I didn't stray too far from the given coordinates.
I might have to have another look on the weekend so I've got more time.

A quick run down the track and a short search in the most likely place yielded this cache. The log is pretty much chockers now and needs to be replaced. TNLNSL TFTC.
The log is getting fairly full (I struggled to find where the next entry should go) and the mildew smell is quite strong, especially if you disturb the cloth flowers that are in the cache. It could do with a bit of a cleanup.
Found sans GPS in the few moments I had before a meeting. A nice quiet spot to sit and contemplate life!

A very quick walk up the track, looked in an obvious sport and was rewarded with the find.
Signed log and replace cache. All was good with it, not wet and no smell.

We encountered an eastern bearded dragon on the track...he was catching some sun and much to the squeals of delight from geokids he didn't run away. TFTC
Forgot to mention the cache was water logged. Infact we were all totally grossed out as the odour first hit us. We spread everything out in the sun for a bit but it all still smells a bit mildewy...nothing like it before the sun did it's thing! Placed it back where we found it. Cheers

Always wanted to have a bit of a look around this area, so took time out from a shopping trip to stretch the legs in a more peaceful setting. Found the cache straight away, and sat down to read up on the info boards while signing the log book. Cache container is a bit wet and smelly, the log book is damp as well, but still useable. Dropped off TB 'Sausage twin two'.

Another Barramundi cache today. Thankfully this one was easier. Quickly found. Left ArmyCaching coin....not a GeoCaching coin even though it says it on the coin....perhaps someone else can do something with it. TFTC.

Enjoyed the walk and plan to do more in this area during the cooler months. Easy find. Took red flower left bead case. TFTC.
Number 2 of my afternoons trek around this area. This a nice area for walking, and well used by walkers.
Missed the short walk on the dirt trail, but after a short walk and climbing over a fence found the cache easily enough. As the cache was wet we put the log bk. in a plastic bag and place the container upside down.

Thanks to all the cachers who placed these interesting caches in Adelaide.
I only wish we could have spent more time appreciating the locations that we visited on our whistle stop tour.

Derelect found this one whilst out with the 'scargoes and his cousin's scout group on a dusk hike - TFTC
Found at 18:40 with Derek of The Wackys & 1st Salisbury Scouts out on a dusk hike & Geocaching intro. Took them a while to find it but it was exactly where Derek & I thought it was. A Scout swapped the Singapore coin for a pen. Note the log book is looking like it's been damp, sorry but I didn't have a zip-lock bag. Thanks Barra's & Cheers P
An easy find, just like one we did last week. Should walk around here sometime, but not today.

Drove closer, rather than walking from "Stone Me", since rain seemed imminent. Will have to come back another time to enjoy the trails, as just a quick lunch visit - and I had to do a Barra cache, since I couldn't make the pub lunch today .

Walking up to this one it was pretty easy to see where it was going to be, and mrs MODU had it in seconds a nice little area for a picnic in less dry years. One day we are going to find a cache with a bigger container so we can deposit our Sandy Cheeks travel bug freeloader.... she is beginning to eat us out of house and home, and is getting too fat to fit in caches. TNLNSL TFTC.
Nice walk, bit dry though. Took magnifier and left ball. thanks The Barramundi's
Easy find in an expected place. Lovely park, saw a frill neck lizard on the way.
A great walk to this cache then an easy find. Thanks for leading us here. Cobbler's Creek has paid off for us today. Found with Poodle-Smoodle and Pryor. TFTC Took GeoCoin
Found at 1600hrs after a short walk for an easy find. A really nice area, we will come back when we have more time for a full walk through the area. Took metal soldier, left torch (with batteries) & TBG Australia Geocoin 2006 #3. Thanks Barras.
Easy find, not so easy to replace! Just as I grabbed the cache, a muggle came up and sat on a seat not 3 metres from GZ. As I was severely restricted by time, I had to decide what to do with the cache. I asked him if he was a geo-cacher, to which he replied, "A WHAT?"
After explaining what the sport is about, and showing him the contents, he allowed me to replace the cache without watching. He seemed very interested in the sport, and was eager to check out the website. After replacing the cache, he left the same time as myself, so I hope it doesn't get muggled. (He did seem genuinely interested, so maybe another convert...)

TFTH- got one in today at least!

Nice Cache. Log book was a little damp, but was easy enough to write on. Took a small water pistol and left a sunglasses holder.
Rather obvious once at GZ.. nice easy find.. just a note the log book was a little on the soggy side but still OK to write on...

Dropping off Major Tom Too:
Current GOAL: Alas another Major Tom. But I have a mission. A simple mission. I desire to be left in orbit around the Earth. I am destined never to return to my home, but to spend the last of my years orbiting our blue planet, "for there is nothing I can do". I'd rather not be alone, causing a hazard, but inside of something, preferably a communication sattelite or the ISS. Once a year I'd like to hear my old song "Space Oddity" being relayed through my new home. And if, in the end, I have to de-orbit, it will be a case of Ashes to Ashes.
