A quick find on a cold day returning home from the Coast. A peaceful spot so close to the town. It reminds of small twons in Central Otago. TNLN

A nice night-caching adventure on a beautiful starry night.
The last 10 or so metres were certainly interesting by torchlight, as it wasn't that clear exactly where the solid ground ended. TNLN, Thanks.

Lovely spot. Kevin (chef)was going to nick some watercress from the pond to take home for his salads, but decided he didn't want to get his shoes wet! Great cache, easy find. Left the Lonely Texan 19 Travel Bug there. It was the first cache we've found in a while big enough to take him.
Thanks.

Forgot to mention we dropped off Lonely Texan 19 Travel Bug. He's been from Christchurch down to Central Otago and back to Culverden - Adventure

I've had this one too long in the 'to do' file for when I got to it yesterday thought it had been muggled -an empty cache with its of possible contents strewn around. Coming on line to report this I find that it has ceased to exist being supplanted by #2. Oh well I pass through Culverden quite frequently although it's too close to home to really want to stop leaving or returning.

We found this easily on the way from Kaikoura to Reefton. Took digital fish, left Indian coin.

18-Mar-06
Found this cache on a beautifully clear autumn morning - what a pleasure it was to be out geocaching.
We left the "digitalfish" necklace - it has to be logged and tracked online - the instructions are with it.
Thanks

Although the Hippo TB and the Lone Star State, Texas Geocoin were not logged into this cache I found them both here and now have them.

When I realised that cache was only a few hundred metres from a compulsory ice cream stop, I had to find it.
Sadly I had nothing on me to swap. Great town for a cache. TNLN
