I had to choose my moment to retrieve the cache due to the high muggle count, but I didn't mind it because the location was lovely and mystical to take a break in! TFTC )
Over from the West to enjoy my first Mega.Out to fill my grid and find some high favourited caches. Lots of laughs catching up with old friends and making some new friends along the way. Signing as a team - WA6Some logs are delayed and out of order - Apologies for that- its been hectic trying to keep up! Many thanks Fore! for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures.
Part of the Sandgroper contingent that has come to the Mega to explore new hunting grounds. Its sure to be a great week with many finds and laughs with lots of great friends and maybe some new ones along the way. Thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Logged as WA6

The third day in Canberra and surrounds for the OzMega Geobash across the Easter weekend.Made my way to the event location for the first time today and enjoyed some of the festivities there throughout the morning. The afternoon was filled caching all over the place with a high priority placed on older caches to help fill Jasmer grids.Another day filled with an amazing variety of cache types and containers were located and with a large group the competition to get hands on the log first was high, with plenty of laughs along the way too. Thanks Fore! for placing Fore!cast for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 13:49 on 29/3/2024.This is find number 8511 for me.
Went for an early evening walk by the lake, gathered the required information and sauntered over to GZ where the find was made after a short search. I came armed to deal with the abundance of spiderwebs and escaped unscathed. Thanks Fore! the cache
Monday 22nd January *6:33pm*Well, another one of Fore!s multicaches and its another DNF! I think I had the right coordinates, went under and saw a massive black spider. How about NO! Will be back
This cache has sat on my map for far too long. It is not difficult and it's really the only easy one I have left in the area, yet it continued to linger, caching is funny in that way.
The cache was quickly found at GZ with no issues. Slightly damp from memory but fine otherwise. Thank goodness I didn't have to do too much poking around for it!

After a failed attempt at another multi this evening, I was searching the map nearby as I needed a multi to fill a date gap today. Ive been sitting on this one long enough, so it was time to bite the bullet and attempt the find. Worked out the requirements a while back so already had GZ loaded up ready to go.
Arrived at GZ and began the hunt. Was not really a fan of the location thanks to the endless webs and little bugs flying around, but I persisted.. It took me a little while to unveil the cache, which unfortunately had a damp log. I was able to get my chicken scratch onto it without tearing it, however the CO may need to place a replacement log sheet here.
Thanks for keeping this old multi alive Fore!

A nice morning for a stroll along the lake. Took me a minute to find the appropriate source of numbers at the starting co-ordinates, but after a "D'oh!" moment I had GZ sorted, then a short wander off where the cache was found in good condition (albeit with a lot of mozzies and spiders).
Thanks, Fore!
Thanks, Fore!
I felt like a little bit of a walk after being scooped up at home for most of the day, nursing a headache.
The wind blew the headache away.
There was a muggle poisoning ducks near GZ (aka feeding them bread), but I managed to recover the cache and sign the log undetected.
I also just finished before the bulk of the after school traffic started.
Thanks for the cache and the opportunity to look at some nature.

I didn't immediately spot the required word as I was looking a little further away, then at GZ I spent more time on the search than I probably should have. Regardless on my second pass I finally made the find with the spiders and mozzies on guard. Cheers Fore!

Lockdown has bought a totally different approach to caching with the introduction of homework! Much time for homework in fact. Therefore many more puzzles solved, both as a solo and collective effort. Thanks to my fellow geo buddies for assistance when needed.
And in between there are still some traditionals, though not nearly as many of them left these days
Logs all in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks to Fore! for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

Looked for coordinates in the wrong place but eventually found them. Easy walk to the cache!
I did not enjoy the spider webs and tiny flying bugs but at least I found the cache!
I decided to spend a day outdoors, climbing hills and mountains in Canberra. Ideal weather and quality locations provided beautiful views. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their hides.
Found the obvious (required) stencilled word after expanding my search from the main manmade features near WP1 coordinates. Didn't need to leave the track at WP1.
A quick find in the obvious spot at GZ. TFTC

An empty month in my ausmar calendar. Another ticked.
But I'm sure I found another cache on this island many years back.
All good because it's a pleasant little island. Cool to watch the waterfowl bobbing up and down.
Thanks for the cache.
Massive de-webbing before search undertaken. Should have seen the sticks.

Having missed a multi cache already this afternoon that I needed for my calendar, I moved over to here and walked to grab the required information It was a quick find at GZ and log now carries my name. TFTC Fore!.
Needed a multi tidy so decided to head out to Gungahlin after work.
Even though the lake is always busy with muggles, I managed to obtain the coords and then get to GZ without attracting any attention.
A surprisingly quick find this afternoon.

Staying nearby with some friends for the long weekend. Came out for a bike ride around the lake with 4 adults and 6 kids! A good short multi. Took us a little while to find it, but following the info in the description helped quite a bit. TFTC!

After a good long hunt everywhere completely destroying all the little homes and poking and prodding everything everywhere we were empty handed.
Found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H). We headed this way for a cache and a short walk and we decided to try for this one. We arrived at the listed co-ords and soon found the need info and had calculated GZ. Once there we started our search, but we had been spotted by some ex-cachers who were nearby. They came and helped our search, but it was C who managed to come up with the find. Log stamped and all replaced and we chatted a bit before we headed off. TFTC.
Out with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0) to do the multi. Parked and walked to WP, obtained info and continued on to GZ. Once there we started looking and met an ex cacher. Located the cache, log stamped and returned. TFTC
Solved some time back with Suzella29. Came out early this morning to make the find and was in luck pretty well straight away. Wet old morning but not too wet to cache! Tftc!
Found today with Joolay after parkrun and brekky. Another cool cache thank you

Out with Gliss! For the obligatory daily. Always a treat when we get to cache in a beautiful area. Thanks for the cache.
Found with Nibletricecakes. I solved this a few months ago and it seemed like good option for tonight's cache. Thanks to a previous log we had a good strategy and found this one fairly quickly. Nice to pick up an oldie. TFTC.
Took me awhile to find the stenciled words that was required to find this, but got there in the end.
I was lucky Tankengine joined me on the walk, as I don't think I would have reached it.
Thank you

Nice little multi to grab on a mild Sunday afternoon. At the first WP I was looking for a stencil on the larger objects nearby and was wondering if it had been painted over, once I figured it out we were off.
Had a good idea once we arrived at GZ but would it be behind number 1, 2 or 3? After clearing away some local inhabitants i shoved my camera torch in and spotted on the 3rd attempt. TYFC fore!

Found while attending the Clear Waters Mega event at Queanbeyan.
Today I focused mostly on two of the groups of challenge caches. But I also completed some interesting multis, traditionals and unknown caches along the way.
Once again I was fortunate to have some great weather for it.
This was one of the multis that was completed along the way.
Thanks Fore! for the cache.

Before the Event Dino and I started the A-Z series. And we had time to go do this one.
Wow not what I expected, but encouraged not by a PAF but rather by the logs of previous finders I knew what I had to do and obliged. Eventually the cache was in hand. And we were happy to be done with the search.
Thank you Fore! for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Nice cache. Came here just before the pathtag swap event. Once there we were first discouraged by the spider webs. But after reading some encouraging logs we managed to find it.

I collected the answers for this quite some time ago but the logs scared me off from doing this one at night. Came here today to finish off another Fore! cache and thought I'd try this one. I think I was looking in the wrong spot though judging by the satellite pic (which I've only looked at since I've got home). I just went straight to what looked like the most obvious spot. It had cobwebs so it felt right. But I had no luck today.
Well, that was an adventure. Indiana Jones eat your heart out! Received confirmation and encouragement by a previous finder which was all I needed. That, and a long stick. TNLNSL TFTC
No joy. Will try again at a later date with more geo kids.
My very brave aracnophic partner braved the area though and we had many a fairy floss stick. She is not keen you return

Grabbed this one after the nearby Australia day event, got the numbers for GZ easily enough and went directly there. All I can say in the way of advice is grab a small stick on the way in, you are going to need it as this GZ is clearly the much loved home of a whole bunch of spiders. Found the cache without too much bother, great spot to hide one for sure. Signed and returned before heading on my way. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

I've driven a long, long way to get my cat to the groomers (my local one has left town). Never mind, there are some caches to find while I wait. This was a nice easy multi. I found the required numbers at WP1 after being distracted by nearby graffiti for a bit. GZ is a really pretty spot and the Ridgeo-pup enjoyed snuffling about while I searched.
I came out from grabbing the cache all covered in gossamer... oh hang on, why is it moving! Anyway, I went to pick up the cat afterwards, he looked great but I looked a sight covered head to toe in webs with tiny little spiders dangling from my hat .
Thanks for the cache, Fore!

This cache was found after a bit of searching and poking around. Our GPS thought we should be looking amongst the trees, but reading the cache notes and the logs of previous finders gave us a different idea of where to go for the find. This proved to be the right move and it was soon cache in hand. All was soon done and we were happy to get out of there as it was full of cobwebs and their owners. Thanks to Fore! for a nice easy multi to add to our collection.
I have been running a bit of a prank with my teenage daughter, telling her I haven't been able to find the Christmas present she wants. It's true that I had to go to quite a few stores in different town centres to find it, but she doesn't know that I did find it. To maintain the prank, I told her this afternoon that I was going to have one last minute attempt at yet another mall to try and find it (of course I came back empty handed). This meant that I had to disappear for a couple of hours - a perfect excuse to get some more local multis!
After detouring through Harrison to get a traditional I DNF'd the other day, I arrived at Yerrabi Pond to get this nicely set up multi. Funny thing about GZ - only a week or two ago I was thinking there really should be a cache here and had started thinking where I could put one. I should have known!
GZ was fun. A lot of cleaning of the area and myself. Hard to believe someone found this one only a day or two back, given the density of the cobwebs, but there was the signature on the log. TNLNSL TFTC

So in keeping with the theme of the day of - if its the plan, better go for plan B because A is NOT happening, this was my plan B cache. Not that this isn't a good cache just that plan A was a lot closer to where I was but a string of dnf's and a missing cache wasn't going to keep my streak alive so had to keep driving until my next available cache. Find # 398 today and they are getting further away!
Still, sometimes plan B is better than A and a nice location and information so easily collected and then of to GZ. All too smooth sailing though so just about to get into searching cobwebs when the phone rings. "Yes, I know I said I would be home by now, yes, I am on my way home soon.... you want what from Subway?..." Ah, school holidays!
So, finally I got about to searching for a cache! Not to fussed by webs and spiders, besides most of these are so tiny I don't think they would eat much, and a few cotton candy sticks later and there was the cache, in my hand, logged and that steak lives another day. Actually kind of glad in the end this was my daily cache, nice location and quite enjoyed the multi and the hide as well, thanks for the cache Fore!

Out with Youban and AddictedGamer to fill in some of the smiley holes I have in my map. After working out the coords quite easily, we went to GZ. I think this took longer to look for than most hides due to the scary condition of the area. We had baby spiders, cobwebs, mozzies, bugs and god knows what else all over us. I had creepy feelings all the way to the event at Mildura McDs. I couldn't wait to get home for a shower. (I'm sure most of it was just in my head). A favourite for the creep factor. Tftc!!!
Out with dty73 & AddG trying to clear up a few odd caches. This one came with more than one friend. I presume the spiders are there to keep the mosquito population down, even though some have survived. Once back at the car I had to quickly exit the back seat so I could brush all the baby arachnids off my clothes. TFTC. Kutgw
A DNF for me a couple of years ago. Returned to-day for a quick find having re-done all the WPs again and arriving at the same spot. Yep lots of spiders and at least one red-back. TFTC.
Jumped on the bike for the first time in a long time to have a look at the caches at this end of the pond. What a horrid hiding spot - Mrs Froggycache would have taken a look from a distance and decided a DNF would be good enough here.

Tuesday 7 March 2017 - another beautiful Spring afternoon with lots of fluffy clouds in the sky and a light breeze to cool the sun's heat even though it was only 25 C. Nonna walked just over 1km with MuggleHusband as I found 4 from 4 caches.
This cache was out by a variation of 3 to 8m probably because of the dense tree cover. If it wasn't for the hint and previous logs talking about spiders and cobwebs I would not have been as adventurous.
Definitely helped to have a strong bike light to peek around corners and keep the fingers safe, and happy on this occasion that I am on the taller side. Finally found the cache after much searching but not before my hair and stick-in-hand was covered in cobwebs hoping that none of the owners would suddenly appear out of the dark. Still plenty of cobwebs have been left behind but certainly a pathway was carved - the heat of this past summer would have forced many spiders to spin more webs than normal to escape from the heat and catch the extra number of insects due to the recent past records of Winter and Spring rains. Difficulty felt more like a 3+ TFTC (I think) Fore!

After over 6 hours of caching/hiking yesterday, we felt like something a little more sedate today - so went for a 5+ hour bike ride/run with The Woofer instead! We collected 31 caches (leaving something behind in almost every single one) and ran/rode just over 24km. We rode through Amaroo, Forde and Gungahlin, around Yerrabi Pond - and on two occasions dipping ourselves IN the pond! Exhausted and completely covered in duck poo, we finished the day with fish and chips by the lake in Yarralumla. And despite being confused for Poke-hunters more than once, it was great day!
We were almost tripped up at the first WP when we noticed some new graffiti - have they covered the words we needed??? But all was good, and we were on our way! GZ was quite disgusting, and neither of us were putting our hands anywhere (although the duck poop might have proved to be a wonderful spider repellent - we’ll never know!) so a magic wand was produced and soon we had the cache in hand. Just enough room to squeeze a swap item, and we were on to the next one! TFTC Fore!

Started this one aaaaaages ago when I was in the area doing a couple of other multis. Never collected GZ due to fading light so left it for another day to collect.
Seeing as this one had been replaced just recently, it was time for me to finally make the collect. Came prepared with a couple of geotools including a "fairy floss stick" Didn't really need to use it as the fairy floss had already been cleared by recent finders-so that made zeroing in on where the cache might be hidden a lot easier! [^] Deployed the "upskirt" here to to view things . Easy find but still pays to check where you'll be putting your fingers to grab the cache!
Thanks Fore! this neat multi

Finally, we can get a smilie for this one. TikvaNZ and I had the Coords sorted for this one last year, but were unable to find. After receiving notification that the cache was back in play, TikvaNZ, Bobl27 and I headed out here for a lovely breakfast and a cache! Cache quickly found this time and log signed. This cache completes my 2006 JASMER calendar - now to focus on the earlier years! Thanks Fore! the cache!

Given this was enabled yesterday it became a top priority, so when better than just before the nearby cafe opens and follow the find with breakfast overlooking the lake on a beautiful calm sunny morning. Found with AngelG27 and Bobl27. We went straight to the final having been to the WP on a previous attempt. TFTC.

Yay! Finally this cache has been found
I looked for it a year and 3 months ago, but had to give up due to the little flying critters and not being able to locate it after a long search. I then saw another TWO DNF's after mine so half gave hope on it.
As soon as I saw all the maintenance done by Fore!, I put this as top priority. I still remembered the GZ too so I didn't have to collect the data again.
Today I walked straight up to GZ, and put my hand on it the 2nd place I looked. Found in only 20 seconds!
Thanks for this cache, great to finally have it ticked off.

My geocaching secretary, allrounder, has replaced the container after finding the original container on the ground. Be brave and maybe take a stick to clear the way...cache on!
Grateful if the CO can take a look at this cache. It is the only Feb 2006 placed cache in the ACT and it would be great to see it maintained!
Worked out the co-ordinates for the last location with Sol de lune.
We were unable to find anything that resembled a cache.

Despite a pretty thorough search at GZ, TikvaNZ and I were unable to lay a hand on this cache. We were pretty confident we were at the right place... Maybe next time!
On a caching excursion with AngelG27 to end a busy working week. We started with this one, and were soon at GZ. But after quite a while searching amongst the spider webs we were beat.

A beautiful Canberra Autumns day just perfect for finding a few caches. Went to the spot but found nothing. This a bad multi-cache day for me.
Went and worked out the coords fairly easily, and went off to GZ.
The location was absolutely swarming with flying critters they they were getting in my eyes and a few in my mouth! Ewww...... I didnt search as it was impossible with all these bugs flying around my face.... And the quick look I took obviously wasn't enough. The bugs made me feel sick though so I decided to do it another day
Someone really needs to clean this place of cobwebs, and spray an entire can of Mortein to kill the insects xD

After finishing Fore!ign Body, I noticed this one started close by. Got the coordinates easily, but had the same problem with the midges that Loki612 did.
Tried to locate this one yesterday but ran out of time & light. Tried again this morning before work with more success. It's a pretty grubby spot with plenty of evidence of local bird habitation. Reaching into likely hides was a bit worrisome, but nothing scary jumped out. Thanks Fore! for your 100th cache hide.
A big day of caching for us (hitting double digits with the youngest in tow is a rarity). Thankfully another find for us, and then we were on our way. Thanks for the fun cache!
After a wander around a nearby hill picking up caches, we needed to find a multi as part of our August mission. We pulled up off the road near WP1, and enjoyed the stroll over to GZ on this sunny day. Lots of little flying critters at GZ, and no wonder there's all those spider webs with all that food nearby. We did a bit of spring cleaning and found the cache nicely hidden. TFTC!
I needed a Multi for my last souvenir of August so off I went with Koda the geodog to take him for a stroll, and of course he just had to get in the water while I sat and worked out the final GZ. Got him out of the water and off we went again, so many muggles it was crazy. Got to the GZ and let Koda have a run while I looked around, yep lots of spider webs and thought might need a stick for this one, bent down and as I looked up I spotted the container - not as many webs there so braved it and stuck my arm up and grabbed it, filled out the log and popped it back. Gave a whistle and Koda was back so put his lead on and went back to the car. Yay I got all 7 souvenirs now - tftc Fore!
Found on a cold morning out this way. We tried this multi ages ago, but once we got to GZ we couldn't find it. Recently I looked at the previous logs to confirm that we were in the correct location. We were - we just needed to be a bit brave for the cobwebs. We went back to GZ today and the cobwebs didn't prove to be such a problem today, as it was a very quick find. Such a suitable location that is really cool to visit. Nice little offset mutli. TFTC Fore!!
Settled into the house, bought mountain bikes (the road bikes aren't going to cut it for all the exploring we have to do!) and now it was time to explore our new locality! After rugging up we braved the outside and trundled off around the pond. This was our first stop. Road right past the waypoint but soon realised our mistake. After a slight detour we collected the clues, worked out our finals and off we went. In no time the cache was in hand [^]. A lovely spot - we're going to like living here I think .
Thanks Fore!

Out doing a few Fore! caches for this evening. Great single offset cache, had to avoid those pesky spider webs

Out with Napalm237, knocking over a few Multi's and Puzzles tonight.
When arriving at GZ the co-ords had us pointing well away from the actual GZ.
Double checked the clue and made our way to where we throught we needed to be.
There was a convenient tool to use and NP, braved the cobwebs to make the grab.
Thanks Fore!

Came back to this one after Knives and Fore!ks. I'd solved the first part at night some months ago, but this seemed wrong in the dark from the area I was in. Came back later to discover what was there. Had to break due to many muggles in the area and do another multi. Came back later and there was a break in the muggles. Despite the GPS being about 10m off, I made a find. Having a hooked stick helped with webs and retrieval
Our daily cache tonight brought us back to familiar grounds and after a bit of stumble at the start we were on our way to a not so surprising GZ (knew there must have been a cache at this spot). It was a bit cool for Janurary and we even had our jumpers on! Lots of runners and walkers even with the cool night so we had to be quick and stealthy, but wow there was a decent covering of spider webs that slowed us down. Mr Stormcatcher caught a lucky angle and we had the cache in hand.
A very enjoyable multi, thanks Fore! Now off home to shake off the cobwebs

Last trip of the year on a northern incursion because it was just too hot to consider anywhere with long grass and bush (especially after just forking out a motza for anti-venom). So a wander around the suburbs was in order instead involving something I dislike even more than snakes (which I usually like quite a lot) and that would be spiders. Wow - what a lot of webs at GZ despite the promises by the last log which wasn't that long ago!
To be honest after the first cursory inspection (from a distance....with my eyes shut.....saying Hail Mary's) I did consider just calling it a DNF. However with a shitty 2013 behind me and the promise of a new leaf and a new year in a matter of hours I summoned up a bit of courage (actually - for those who know me you will know this was actually a HEAP of courage). Utilsing a handy tool it appears someone else already used and feeling very much like Indiana Jones in the Temple of Doom cleared the way forward, not once, not twice but even a third time and eventually came up trumps highly relieved to have found it as I really, really, really, really, really don't want to go back under there again. (For those of you without an arachnid phobia just go for it - a pleasant walk and an 'easy find'). I think this deserves a favorite point for pushing me outside of my comfort zone.

Can't believe this hasn't been found for nearly a year! It's still there and waiting quietly for the next cacher and if they're quick it will be relatively clear of spider webs. Thanks for another good cache Fore!
#180 - 09:55; Number 2 of the Fore!ay into a couple of multi's I'd solved but not located. Didn't need webbed feet, despite the webs at GZ. TFTC
