Logs
We spotted one pelican in the finding of this cache. It was flying in low and looking to make a majestic landing on the water. This cache took us two efforts to find. The first only moment ago was aborted when the path we were following came to an abrupt end. We stopped and consulted Google Earth and realised there was a much better angle of approach than the one were were on. So we back tracked a little.Once we had translocated a little we could see a much better approach. We had a choice to make near the end, but chose the waters edge to follow. Before long the GPSr pointed towards a logical place. The cache was located a short time later. The caches log was a little damp, which we thought odd given the type of container in use here. We put our marks on the log and put everything as it was. We then headed back towards the car, along the shore so as to look at the possibility of giving our earlier did not find a chance to be otherwise.Princess_lela we thank you for place such a cache as this in such a location as this for use to find.
Wife and I circled around for a while before finally finding it, but forgot our pen back in the car! Saw some ducks with ducklings, cute!
Gorgeous morning out with Guiness12 and GeoDog. Got back to this one and found it. Nice hide and an awesome view. TFTC
Found it but didnt have a pen so couldnt sign. Theres a bee hive on the way so bee careful
Took me to a spot I'd never been despite walking in the area for many years. Dropped my pen on the way so wasn't able to sign but have photo evidence if required. TFTC
TFTC. The view of the river is nice and I can imagine spending a whole afternoon sitting here.
Thought I was muggle free. Pushed my way out of the bushes onto the beach to see a man standing a few meters away with a super puzzled look on his face. tftc!
A couple of muggles on the beach with quizzical looks. They lost interest completely when I told them that I was geocaching. Hide located soon after. TFTF!

Enjoying a leisurely stroll along the river on this crisp morning. 2 finds and 3 ALs. TFTC, Princess_Leia. Your golden oldie is in good condition with dry contents in a place with superb views!
Took a wander along the foreshore today. A quick poke about GZ with a stick located the cache. In a little 'rough' condition but still good. Thanks for the hide Princess_Leia
Nice little walk, left a little collectable for someone to take Found with cyclone, tftc!
Nice quick find. Plastic bag protecting the log has deteriorated and didn’t have one to replace. Have left some for kids in the caches. Tftc found with mud crab
9/9/22 Blitzed it

Snuck out whilst the family was fast asleep to collect a few smiley faces and a near by Adlab. I'm finally back in W.A visiting all my family and friends after being away for so long. Really enjoy being back in my home state. Thanks for the cache, i took a TB and left another one
Fortunate to catch a glimpse on the path in. Bit of bending and I had it out and signed TFTC
Accidently logged on this cache instead of my previous find to start with so thought I better go and get this one now. All good here but unfortunately the anniversary TB is not there.
I was looking forward to picking it up as it is my 25th Anniversary this month.
Anyway tftc, I really enjoyed the quiet location on my own after dealing with a teen outrage earlier in the day.

No problems here. Log was a little damp but not too bad. Had to run back to the car as it started to pour. TFTC
Last for the day.
Easy find.
Picked up the TB proxy.
Log is damp, but otherwise cache all ok.

This one took longer than expected, but I rewarded myself by pausing to take in the beautiful view on a perfectly still night .
I actually found it last week, I just forgot to log it. Found on a wander around Matilda Bay and Pelican point. Thanks for the cache.
I made the find harder than it should’ve been!!! Lovely location here and secluded...
Had a good search but prob not good enough. Although possible the last storm covered it as it looks like debris and tide was epic here
Nice spot, a little searching to find this one with Cindym89 & dog Abby. TFTC
A nice area to find our favourite cache box, nearly always dry. Have moved the Scout TB tho it may get stuck with us due to the Wuhan Covid 19 virus that thinks we should stay home. What no caching?TFTC
Found this cache on a beautiful afternoon walk.
Thanks CO for maintenance check.
Cache is in good condition and coordinates.
Maybe not leaving sharp object inside the cache. I pinched my finger in a needle/safety pin, left inside the cache.
I removed the needle/safety pin out of the cache.
It’s safe for kids now.
Great location

Geocache is still in location not muggles after all. I did however, fill it up with a few new goodies and added a new log book. Also hid it a bit better as it was a bit exposed. happy geocaching evveryone! remember to swap - if u take something, add something
oh man, gone again. i didnt want to do this but i think its going to have to become a smaller container will tend to this in a few weeks when uwa semester starts
Found a pen and some sandwich bags but no ammo tin. Either I’m blind or it’s not here.
Great spot to come out to, though.
TFTH!

Thanks, well hidden.
Looks like some muggles got into it but log is still there. We hid it back up.

Thank you for bringing us to this lovely spot. Picked up TB.
TFTC Princess_Leia this is find # 7214 for us.

We headed to this cache after finding another nearby. The route taken wasn't the best and we got a bit bogged down in sand on occasion. The coordinates were spot on though I only realised where the cache was when I stood on top of it. Oops! TFTC
Enjoyed the foreshore walk this morning and came across a few students doing research on the impact of foraging swans on the esturine flora and fauna. Must say: these are Path's favourites. Thanks Princess_Leia
Indeed this cache has been muggled. Luckily we found the empty ammo can and put a temporary log sheet inside. I've hidden it as well as I could, hopefully that will keep it safe. TFTC
As it happens, it seems that the last geocacher to find this cache "atcatpacity" thankfully found the ammo can, and the one before this, "chrismerry" found the contents scattered and replaced the container with a temporary plastic one. Because of the kindness of these people in salvaging the geocache and its contents, we may now have 2 geocaches that are both "point to the pelicans" in the same area within a few metres, one plastic one with the original contents, and one ammo can with a brand new log. Once university starts again in a few weeks, i will stop by and see if i can locate and consolidate the geocaches, meanwhile, if anyone finds both containers, can you please combine them for us? thank you again geocaching community.
i want to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have found this geocache and posted a photo of themselves, their kids, or their dog enjoying the find. its when i see this that maintaining this geocache feels all worth it. Bless you all.
Found the amo tin. Not sure about the plastic container previously mentioned. Tftc. Happy new year
Bit of a mish but found it nice hide and always love the ammo tins so keep them coming tftf!
Found the cache but it had clearly been muggled and destroyed. Ammo tin gone and contents scattered.
