Thanks for the reminder YOF. Sorry to not reply to the last email...must have missed it somewhere in the system.
I'm happy to archive this cache so as to allow others to place a cache in this location if they so desire. Worth the location for a cache.
Thanks to the finders of this cache and I hope it opened up this hidden part of Toowoomba to explore.

Sorry to have to do this but my last email to the owner did not receive a reply so it might be time to put this one to bed. If the owner wants me to replace it again (Mm please email me) and I will gladly do so.
I was in Toowoomba finishing off the list and checked on this one. GONE. Very unsafe to walk in this area at the moment due to the very wet and crumbly ground near the edges.
WP1 was an easy find & with that sucess was happily on our way...... What a great place this is - made it easily to GZ and then kept looking but without luck, spent around 30min looking in ever increasing circles but no luck would like to come back to this area again thanks for bringing us here Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble
Returned to this one after the 5th Toowoomba pub lunch... had more luck and found WP1 this time.. but had no luck finding the cache
Searched for quite a while.. found a likely spot, but no cache.
Searched for quite a while.. found a likely spot, but no cache.
After parking where it seems the description refers to then hiking down the rather awkward trail to the cache site, I was slightly grumpy to find another access point only metres from the coordinates. The GPSr had us moving around a bit, but we weren't able to find the first cache at all today. Better luck to the next geocacher.
Great spot. We visited a place in Austria recently that was at 2000m that had 5 "jetties" like this. It's called the 5 fingers and there is a multi there too.
Today we found WP1 - with only a few metres between it and where the GPSr had us.
However we wandered over to GZ and could not find the cache. The hint is pretty clear, so I hope we were just plain blind.
Don't know how the locals put up with the view.
Till next time.

found by mistake when bush walking, didnt know what a geocache was untill found this one. in a great spot, great views
Well found this one on my second visit. I can confirm that both caches are there and in perfect condition. WP1 is definately off by about 10-20m but thanks to a little bit of help I got there.
It was a wet rainy day in Toowoomba today but I was keen to recheck this one so off I set. I must warn though to future visitors. DO NOT, I say again DO NOT attempt this one in the rain or if the area is wet. It is extreemly dangerous and the ground is uneven and gets very very slippery. (Water in the little creek crossing is OK)
I rescued Geo-Fish TB who has been camping here for a while though I should have left him there now that water is flowing.
Thanks
P.S If anybody needs help with WP1 feel free to contact me.

Just to clarify....the coords for WP1 are not 30m off.
The coords for WP1 have been verified to within 6m of the where it is hidden, with the error on the safe side ie. away from the obvious issue.
Due to the location of this WP, your GPSr's EPE will come into play. Please play it safe in this area and do not go over any fences to find WP1.
Enjoy the location.

Well, it seems pretty well divided. Some found Waypoint 1 easy. Some did not. Put me in the column for the ''couldn't find waypoint 1" I wandered around quite a while. On and off the lookout. Around the trees. Through the grass. Seemed I was close but couldn't find anything. Cache blindness struck I guess. Will have to come back another time. Thanks for the visit to the lookout though.
GeoBrat had the first Co-ords in hand before I had even read the cache details. From there it was all elementry. TFTC

Odd, GPS put us about ten metres from the first cache but geokid said he knew where he would hide it and went straight there and fount it. Second set of co-ordinates put GPS right on top. Another hidden treasure I never knew about. TFTC
This is a great cache in an area that we would never have found. We didn't have time to do the long walk today but after seeing the begining we can't wait. TFTC.
Finally got the monkey off my back!!
I've made a few attempts at this one shortly after it was placed, and could never find WP1 - for some reason my GPS was consistently taking me 20-30m from its location. I had an idea where it should be, but was still too blind to see it. Thanks to a hint (of the form, "it is here"), from a kind fellow cacher, I managed to get WP1 this morning.
With the final location's coords in hand, finding the cache proved quick and easy. My GPS defies logic - can't find a point in open space, yet with 8ft Lantana, and lots of trees, it pinpointed me to within 1m of the cache.
Years ago I frequently came around this area. You could continue the walk around to the next hill for some spectacular views. Back in those days it was quite a long walk from the end of Mackenzie St to the lookout. None of the houses or roads that are here now existed. I don't remember it being this overgrown, nor do I remember walking past such high cliffs - a little scary!
Thanks for this most excellent cache. TNLNSL.

Gecko geo coin has been taken by the first person to find after the cache had been replaced at GZ but his computer is down at the moment and he can not log his find or his taking the geocoin.

Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble. This one was fun...scared the hell out of me as heights and falling off cliffs is not my thing..But what a great quality cache to discover at the end.
Thankyou for the hide

YAAAYYYY!! Finally found this one!! Took along my young bro to find this cache which has bugged me for a while now! After FINALLY finding WP1 it was a quick search at GZ and my bro found the cache right where the GPS said it would be (his first find.. yaay x 2).

Container and contents replaced at GZ with the consent of the Owner. Placed at 0730 on the 25th. It is a Ammo container with plenty of goodies both for adults and children. Registered two of my geocoins last night to activate them and left them in container.
I'll disable this cache until i can confirm its status...damn those muggles.

Found waypoint one and retrieved the final Coordinates. GPSr was spot on Coordinates for this WP. Walked straight to it.
I was standing on GZ according to my GPSr but the vegetation has been substantially disturbed. There were only three large trees and I spent 30 minutes giving the area a thorough going over.
Looked in a 3metre circle of GZ but still no luck. Will try again on Tuesday. Great Idea for a cache and thanks for giving me the opportunity to have a go.

Bumped into thrombolek on this one, didn't find the wp2 coords so tried to solve with the clues and a little local knowledge from thrombolek... But without luck! Great story on rescuing the pitbull, and looking at the site, this must have been a big effort!!
Even though a dnf, this is a great spot, lived in t-bar for 10 years and didn't know this place existed.. Just why I love geocaching!!! Had a local hitting golf balls into the valley, pitty anyone who may be walking down there!!
Thanks mapmonkey for bringing me to such a fantastic location with great views.. I shall return!

Stage 1 we found ok. the area around the cache though seems to have been recently and substantially disturbed. undergrowth (weeds) has been cleared. i have a suspicion the cache may have been removed.
Woohoo!!! Finally found this one on the 4th attempt! I sure do know how to make things harder that they really are. My GPS wasn't much help in finding WP1... couldn't make up its mind where it was! In the end it was a nice spot to visit... and re-visit! TNLN TFTC
Good to finally find this one.Actually found stage 2 first by chance then returned to L/O more determined to find stage 1 having realized the significance of the clues. How sweet it is !! rewarded at last.TNLN Thanks MM for bringing us to this great spot.
Luckily we know the area as we still didn’t understand what we were meant to be doing. The hint helped us as Paul has been on the rescues with Map Monkey. Put in lots of toys and stuff. We love this area. Thanks.
Had some trouble with this one, co-ord's put me in the middle of nothing, was looking for some sort of clue but could not find anything. Sat and study the remarks and the previous logs, then it clicked, luck for those clues or I would have still been looking for it. Didn't use the gps to find it after getting to the start loc. Took - Sherk, Left - Dino.
Theres obviously something I'm missing - have tried this 3 times now, and just cannot make any sense of waypoint 1. Each time the GPS takes me to a nondescript grassy spot between a tree and a fence with nothing making sense. Does my GPSr have an error in just this spot? I seriously haven't a clue what is going on with this one. *Shrug*
finally!!!!! found on our second attempt, first time the clues just did not gell, back at home base studied the clues & notes from previous logs it all made sence. This time we walked straight to it.

Wow hasn't this area developed since I was last here. Some of those huge houses have a great view. After locating WP 1 we decided to stay and soak up the view at the lookout admiring also the effort that had gone into building this lookout. [^]
We went gingerly along the last leg to the cache finally understanding how the dog and others ended up down at the bottom in need of rescuing.
Once we arrived at GZ we located the cache easily.

Approaching LBL from the west wasn't the best idea
First I tried barrelling in from the SW and ran into a dead end. Next I tried heading North, 'nuver dead end
Third time was a charm and I found an amazing sight
After some fun and games at the lookout there were more fun and games to get to the cache. Very muddy in here today
This is definitely a DAYTIME only cache [:o]
With the cache found it was a great spot down by the creek to take in the peace and quiet
I took the Toyota315k TB from the cache.

An area I am familiar with shame I didn't click that you meant this lookout straight away. TFTC.
Hmmmm what's this?? MM using one of those containers [:o] Whatever is the world coming to?
Out picking up a few caches with WitchPig and this one flashed onto the screen. No problems with WP1....then it was off for a short stroll to gz.
Coords spot on. Cache dry and in good condition.
Thanks MM....great views from here
Found this one with lochb who, with great daring, climbed down to the base of the lookout in search of WP1. After climbing up and down and scouting both sides for a good 15 mins, WP1 was finally spotted (and then only after some help --- see lochb's log) and we were on our way to cache! Took a TB. TFTC.
Found at about 3.00pm with son Russ who is getting into clock climbing and was checking this site out. Took a while but with the help of the clue we managed to find it. The track sure gets close to the cliff edge at one spot. Definitely wouldn't want to walk around here at night.

Found in the company of pjphillips at around lunch time. We climbed down below the platform and were ready to give up as the terrain was clearly more difficult than it should be, when a phone call to the Rastas hotline saved us. And yes, we found WP1 fairly close to where our GPSrs were leading us in the first place... talk about cache blindness. WP1 is in fact wheelchair accessible!!!
Took a TB, and left a geocoin.
TFTC, Map Monkey!

The last time I stood there I was out of breath, out of condition and out of my depth. MapMonkey was there then as well I believe. Its a little more overgrown now.
A great spot for a cache and more walking tracks to follow some time.

In the book of LEDGIN'S. Found at 1345hrs. Map Monkey you are a very sneaky person - absolutely loved this one. We did not know this place even existed even though we visit friends in this area. (and have done for about 15 years) We were about to give up when the penny dropped. Took Geocoin (our very first one) and left Mr Strong and TB Kurley. Thank you Map Monkey.
FTF after about 2 hours of wandering around aimlessly. Finally worked it out. Great spot and lovely views. Took the FTF gift and will activate it ASAP. Thanks. Left Shrek and whaleshark. Thanks Map Monkey, great cache and hiding location.
