A lot of DNF's. Please check, like to go for this one but don't think it's still there
6 of us hunted but found nothing.....very sad. Somewhat cheered up when we found out that other people hadn't found it either. We are new to Geocaching so off to not such a good start. Three searched for, none found. Despite this got us out in the rain and fresh air and we are hooked! [d8]
Couldn't find this one with 6 of us searching for about half an hour. Maybe check if it is still there? Otherwise it is very well camouflaged! Hard not to destroy the flax whilst searching. Watch-out for the thorns in amongst it as well! We got more than a few scratches.
Could't find this one. Started raining very hard So gave up after 15mins or so. Will try again another day.
Didn't find this one either not a good caching day! From the excellent clue we are sure we were in the right spot!
Big cache 0_0 Luckily didn't encounter any of the wasps we were warned about. TFTC
Nice and far away from the prying eyes of muggles. We felt quite comfortable poking around quite blatantly.

Thanks Technokitten was a good find in a nice area, great time with Bev, as well as Ian and his boys. TFTC
After a day of failed finds,I found it along with the travel bug, nice to find this one on my holiday.
Muggle friend, (knows a bit bout geocaching) spotted someone searching in the flax bush. I think they scampered, sorry if it twas a geocacher
After a while of searching we found it! The BIG one means really BIG one! Thx to Technokitten
Found it, my first cache, btw the branch in the tree above looks very unstable.
First one ever. I enjoyed all the cd's. We will go back again and swap a cd. Thanks technokitten
classic caching this one, didnt have the appropriate media but enjoyed the walk
TFTC!
TFTC!
Great view to sit on the rocks to contemplate the world, (and which flax bush look as GPS is a bit jumpy today)
1500th find! Yay! Great spot with views of a regatta going on down below and a nice spot to sit in the sun and fill in the log. A nice big cache to mark the milestone. TNLN Thanks.
Almost had the lobook out and signed before Kiwileon and Gadget-Tron realized I had it in hand.
Bone dry inside the box and an excellent spot to boot (pun intended).
Thanks to this cache I have found an alternate kite flying field.
Many thanks.

J also found this one, Great views and again description very accurate. Beginning to understand themes and what is required, will return with multimedai theme to add to this good sized cache. Well done Technokitten
Pleasant walk to GZ but had to keep a keen eye out for muggles. Took a little while to find between pretending to be taking photos and we too found the book . Nice big cache T4TC.
Cache is exactly where it should be. removed a lot of rubbish items ... folk should read cache theme notes and familiarise themselves with the geocachers creed.
Spent a while looking amongst and around the flax, but could not find this cache.. found a discarded book however!
It was my closest unfound, but have avoided looking for this one previously given the likelyhood for muggles and the hiding place, but the extra large container made it all worthwhile. T4TC
Spent some time looking in the wrong place for this one... the clue helped
Beautiful views of my old stomping grounds across the river.
Beautiful views of my old stomping grounds across the river.
I came from Tahuna Torea direction. A nice spot just before the end of a pleasant bushwalk. I guess I'm getting used to this standard hiding method in NZ
Found this about a month ago, however only just found the scrap of paper that I wrote the names of all the caches I found on that day.

Fairly impressive cache contents, but unfortunately we had nothing suitable to trade. Picked up "Butterflies and Bees" geocoin. Nice spot. TFTC!
Found this one with the kids while exploring this area for geocaches. A great hide, as enjoying walkway. Dropped off one bug, took the other.
Another find with my mum. Such a stunning day today. We had a lovely walk around the area. Thanks so much for bringing us here. My mother had a good laugh at the contents of the cache. She has vowed to dig out all her odds and ends for further cache finds. Have included some pics.

#30 of 44 for today.
This is a massively nice cache...dunno why it doesn't get more visitors...maybe they see the letters "multi" in the cache and get lazy and go for something "easier"??? More fool them. Nice location, plenty of people out getting some fresh air...good to see.

15:00 What a great spot, enjoyed this one. Roger's dad Arthur joined the hunt for this one. At first we thought this one was a multi because of the title . Thanks for the cache.

At least I knew what multi-media is! Easy find now that we have 5 pairs of eyes looking! Love these ammo box caches!

Dropped in on a cold winter afternoon, we have thought about approaching this one via water, but after visiting, maybe not a good Idea.
Took two go's as we lost confidence in the GPS first time around, so went back for the clue. Easy find after that.
An impressive cache, unfortunatly we didnt have any suitable media, so left a donkey game.
AC took a shine to the rubber pen.

Found after a bit of a search, great view from here. Nothing multimedia based to swap so none made. Thanks!
Found after an earlier unsuccessful attempt last year. Was sure we had looked in right place last time but could not find it then. Pleased to be second time lucky. TNLN. Thanks
Found useing the clue as at the gz the gps was still pointing me 100m into the water... as there was a rising tide I wasn't gonnar go there!!
Very windy day, a few people struggling with kites in the park. Another great family cache.
Thanks Technokitten.

Thank you for this cache, another great location that we had not been to before. Although Commander Scout is not a multimedia item, the younger geogats were adamant that he would enjoy the view for a few days. Out with a varekai dvd and in with commander scout. TFTC

Thumbs down to the fool(s) that placed ILLEGAL mp3 cds and even worse "adult" items in this cache.
I am absoltely DISGUSTED by this whoever you are.
Caching guildlines are clear... trade items are to be family friendly and legal.
THanks so much to Beaty and the Beast for removing the offensive items immediately.
Cachers should all read the www.geocachung_U.com web pages for guidlines on appropriate swaps and for guidance on placements for their own new caches

Bit of a struggle to find the cache as it was fairly well hidden. I almost had to dive in to be able to reach it! Cheers Gav [1037] PS I see some concern about adult material - I didn't check when I was there sorry so not sure if it arrived before or after me.
No swaps. Illegal stuff in there, bit worried about it, not really appropriate for a family game.
Park close by on the hill and came down the steps. Found the cache without too much trouble, keeping and eye out for families of walkers.
In Wonder Woman TB (TK look a like?)
Out Beanable Lion.
Thanks for the hunt.

Another good sized cache. The bush was big enough I was able to open it up and write log in the bush, without bring the container out. This was lucky as there were muggles walking past as I was leaving
A nice spot with a view.

Very exciting - our first experience geocaching. The description and hints were great as we are saving to buy a GPS but just couldn't wait to try our luck and skill at this great game. Thanks TK.

Noticed that there had been an interesting geocoin in this cache for a few weeks. So, I though why not? However it looks like TK (cache owner) had similar ideas. She must have been visiting only about an hour before me.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Fortunate to have the company today of Geocooley, who had longer arms than the butterfly. But even she ended up flat down as she reached in and retrieved the cache! Great camo - was really difficult to spot. Decided this was the cache to set free Butterfly's very special own Geocoin. Hopefully it will travel all over NZ (please do not take it overseas yet!) Thanks TK - we finally got to this cache today.
Found this cache in not the normal hidey-hole with harakeke bushes. Also found a pair of Warehouse-type glasses here. They are too weak for me. They aren't BalsEd's as I have already asked him. If anyone wants them returned just contact me.

I’m starting to get a feel for where caches will be hidden in NZ, and found it fairly quickly. There certainly are some lovely foot/cycle paths around Auckland.
What a place to walk,
no one around on this cold day , good to be out in the sun
