Logs
Not found on this date, but realised had found well over two years ago and not logged. Would be good if this one was revived. Cheers
Not able to maintain this one any longer. hopefully someone else will place a cache in this location
Looks like the cache has gone missing again. Will get it replaced the next time someone is heading up to Auckland.
On our list of caches for the day but unfortunately after a really good look we found no cache .
We searched and searched. When my GPS said we were there, the only thing we found was a small tag, dog tag shaped, but it was painted blue(just like the rest of the bridge), so we aren't sure if that was the Cache, or some marking for the bridge itself.
Looked everywhere - muggled? Maybe we are just too new at this... Checked again 20/4/09, no joy.

Spent most of an hour looking everywhere the clues might hint at. [?] [?] No joy this time, will be back.
Nice and easy with the bridge being closed from the other direction. Nice views . TFTC.
Took me quite a while, because me GPS pointed with high accuracy some meters away. So I finally consulted the hint and extended GZ...
Thanks for the hide and the nice view from here at dusk!
Cheers,
Ben

Great views of other parts of the city at night. Too cold and dark for a swim - but thanks for the offer . TFTC TNLNSL
Not easy to search for it. Heaps of joggers suddenly popping out of every corner.
Another joint effort with PhilipA and his daughter. Had to be very careful not to let the wind rip the tiny log book from our hands. Cheers!
My third New Zealand geocache of the evening! Thanks to KiwiGary for taking me here for this quickie! -TP/corey
Out for a walk before going out for dinner on last day in town.
Wow, these things and I don't tend to get along all that well, but I did find after about 20 minutes looking. Signed log, replaced the cache and started the walk back to town.
TFTC.

Found by Sunshine Toledo at 3:18pm. Found easily in a good hiding place. There was a fishing muggle at the bottom but I don't think he was catching much as he was concentrating hard on baiting his hook and didn't know what I was up to. TFTC
Equipment failure ! Could only get sporadic signal in whole event area and by the time figured exactly where it was the fisherman had taken out a lease. Will be quick next time thanks anyway
Had been to Flash mob event over in town.
This was number 18 for the day.
I got to GZ and found an elderly fisherman at the bottom of the GZ area.
He was very interesting to talk too as I did my search.
Not much fish for him today

3rd for the day and my 50th. Yay! Was with a mate and he found it while I was blundering around in a different spot.
Unfortanately was unable to sign the log as it needs replacing.

Find #50. A quick find while in town today. Filled in the log on a blank page we found towards the back. TFTC.
Quick detour on the way to another cache. Fantastic sunny day and lots of people enjoing the pool. TNLNSL
4th find today. A nice trip down memory lane, as we used to picnic and swim around here as kids. Darby managed to snatch cache quickly and we moved away to SL. Note: Log pretty full took a while to find a space to record our visit.

First find, found it in 5minutes of getting there;
Really easy find.

My first cache. Didn't take all that long to find, even though it was very windy and wet.

2nd for the year. Nice easy find on way to minigolf and Waipuna for weekend. Log full. Took a while to open it sucessfully !!TNLNSL TFTC
Was expecting it to be missing with the errected banner accross the bridge. But was there to be found. Cheers
Our 100th Find. Not only did we bring home the memory of our first 100, but the beautiful view that went with it. TFTC.
Been meaning to get this one for a while, so finally stopped today. Quick find, nice views. TFTC
Well, I found a cache and signed the log. It looked like it had seen better days so not sure as to which one it was.

Found with no GPS while I was out for a run on the water front. Cache was in good shape too. TFTH
10:40 - A few muggles coming and going here. Great views with the sea air in our veins. Quick find by Roger in between waves of muggles. Thanks for the cache.
#16 of 44...lots of muggles, but a quick and unnoticed retrieval, log and return. I've heard this one's been dropped in the drink a few times! Not this time
A great spot out in the open - well worth the visit at sunrise/moonset, though there was a breath test down the road and had a few slightly tipsy muggles hanging around.
Lovely find as we watched the moon set and the sun rise. Got breath tested twice by cops nearly at GZ - obviously they don't expect anyone other than drunkards up at this hour! We didn't explain the commitments of geocaching! TFTC
Rumo thought it to be clever to not park at the Tamaki drive because of non-existent parking areas. When we had crossed the bridge, we saw that there was enough parking available. Bummer. No problems finding the cache, but when we retrieved it, we found that the main magnet had come off the box. We panicked a little bit due to the prospect of not being able to put it back in place until we found out that there were two smaller magnet remaining. We put the loose magnet into the box, so that at least some additional force holds it in place now. Again, Rala could prove that her fear of heights has vanished during our time in New Zealand - perhaps because of being exposed to all the "dangers" of geocaching.

Geocaching is a great thing to do with children as they are a great distration should there be any muggles about. Additional magnet needs to be glued back in place. Securely replaced. SLTFTC.
Been here before but went with Hexy. We couldn't find the cache. Wondering if it is still here.
Searched high and low literally! Dont know if it has gone AWOL or if we are way off base here!!
Found this one out with Outdoor Annie and Kaimai. Camera comes in usefull for retrieving caches!!! Doing the tourist thing!!!
Out with the girls for some inner city caching. Worked this one out while sitting having lunch in Parnell Rose Gardens. Managed to look like we were taking photos, while checking the possibilities.
Struggled for a few minutes then saw a bit of a magnet on the rail at my feet. hmmm. Turned out to be off the underside of the cache - put it back in but could use some superglue maintenance.
Looked for this one some time ago while doing other waterfront caches, but it had gone AWOL at the time. Mr Wizard found it straight away. Mrs Wizard left a little dolphin to keep the pencil company. Didn't see an extra cache. TFTC
Tried to find this 2nd cache of a small plastic bag with log, pencil and magnet which is not the cache, but must be an earlier verison that was assumed washed away. No luck, if any one finds this 2nd cache please remove the real cache is not in a bag and not by the rocks
Out with roaming kiwi, 2nd of the day, took about 5mins to locate, nice spot, great views.

2nd attempt at this cache. My GPS took me right to the spot this time (when Phil's had failed before!)
Nice little cache... you'd just never know it was there!

Quick find after having to drop a workmate off to the CBD. Took the chance to knock this one off. Had to wait for runners etc to clear out but quick find and signed tiny log pretending to take in the views.
Bad time to go there as it's really busy and after parking (the easy bit)had to hop out the passenger side for fear of getting the door knocked off! Getting out from the road side was even worse!
TNLNSL TFTC. Nice views in the sunset.

Visited with a replacement cache in hand to find that the cache was still where I last left it, log fine, bag fine, pencil fine. Last log was from Punga and Paua on March 18th.
Maybe nzsuperstar, dossman, and TeamBonafide found an old one that I thought had washed away searched high and low but couldn’t find anything that matched their description.

Nope, didn't find it. Disappointing start to the day. Well, at least the weather was ok!
Ran under this bridge a few weeks ago doing the Round The Bays Run.
GPS took us right to the area but we didn't find it

Well i found a very wet log book, an unsharpened pencil and the top of magnetic key container wrapped in a broken ziplock bag. Is this the cache ??????. signed it and swapped the plastic bag, placed the cache back in the spot,
This can't be the cache, it needs a maintenance visit if it is, this is wrapped in a plastic bag and very damp
Wow, we certainly picked the wrong weekend, it was the Round the Bays Run but fortunately it was over by the time we got here and there were only tired bodies drifting back towards the city, too tired to notice us.
A quick find right where we thought it should be. Thanks.

At last can tick this one off. Have walked passed it many times but it's always been busy. Went for a wee stroll in the area this evening so we decided to grab it. No trouble with muggles. TFTC
Attempted this one straight after work but too many ppl round.... headed back about 8 ish no one in site it was almost a dnf as the cache had fallen but a near by rope had caught it!!!!
Found this cache early in the morning on a jetlag walk through Auckland.

Riding the bike towards the cache today around 1910, when a 4 car smash occured right under the bridge
No severe injuries, luckily, but I thought I'd better nab this one before all the Ambulances, Police and Firies arrive. Which they did.
Found easily, SL and returned to its spot, while all the onlookers watched the screaming ambulance arrive.
I was a bit put off by what was happening below, but the views up here are great. Thanks

after a long time, because of running muggles, we were quick.

Thanks for the cache
Visited during lunch break, it had gone missing, but has now been replaced with new cache
Looked as hard as we could, despite muggles. Is it still there? Enjoyed the walk anyway.
Searched and searched and searched some more, but it was nowhere to be seen. Paint looked pretty fresh and there were some signs tied with rope, and one of the ropes was tied right about where my GPS reckoned the cache should be, so maybe it's gone...
City lights were looking good. So was the fresh clean paint job on the "cross-over", but no sign of the micro. We frisked all over the area, felt nothing. Is it still there?
My daughter first found this one. Very good place. By the way, the log book is quite wet.
Thanks
Thanks
You've been BUGGED! Neat under there. Here from USA caching with the pud. Great day of caching for us. Thanks.

12.30pm. The Parnell pool looked very tempting. Good co-ords meant I found it pretty quick. Cheers.
Sneaked off to find this one whilst kids were playing on rocks near Rescue Me TNLNSL TFTC
Found fairly easily but amazed it's never ended up in the water. Never looked closely at the pool before. We may be back for a swim when it is filled up again.
