Had a good look around the tree the the GZ is but couldn't find anything. Thought it might have been in the hole in the tree but nothing was there. Hope it hasn't been muggled.
A Friday afternoon sojourn around Croydon with +Wife and EveTheStaffy. A golden oldie is always in our sights, and since we were here working on the nearby multicache, this one was also a target.A nice quick find at GZ. All in good order here.Thank you, geof for placing the original and thanks also to ahomburg for keeping it in the game.
Easy find. Struggled to get the log out but I got there in the end. I never knew there was a pool here before. TFTC
We decided to travel to the Kilsyth Festival today and of course there's loads of caches around - another enticer! After the festival we drove to this location to have a look at the miniature railway too, and lucky for us, the rides were on today!! Total fluke! Did my husband and I get on the trains? We sure did! Best $3 we'd ever spent and well worth it, so much fun! I think I used to come here when I was a kid, I grew up in Wantirna. Will definitely be back to bring my neices and have a picnic. So glad this miniature railway is still here, 4O years on!Cache found with ease and log signed.
Turning this into a smile on our second visit. Thanks for the fun and what turned out to be an easy find.
After wandering around for what seemed like an eternity, I finally managed to spot something out of the ordinary, and was able to locate and sign. Thanks for the hide.
Second time I’ve come to look for this cache. Last time there were too many muggles around to look properly. Today is wet and overcast so no muggles insight. Today I have little Zyg with me. After a quick look I spotted it.
Found with icw. We found a wonderful hiding place for a cache, but it was empty. It appeared to have been muggled because we also found some convincing camouflage near it. icw looked a little further and found the cache. Tftc.
We had a good look but clearly not good enough. Another frown collected by this tricky cache.
Found a spot that looked likely, it’s been recently tampered with so i wonder if the cache is gone.. maybe best to have a look at it?
I had a DNF on this cache a couple of years ago, and really thought it had been muggled. I was surprised to see that it had been found, so I made a return visit. I still could not find it after an hour long search. I resorted to the PAF option, and was directed to a place I had already searched, clearly not thoroughly enough. It is so nice to have this one ticked off, as it was starting to become a nemesis cache for me.
I got off work really late today, but with the new [Wheel of Challenges](https://www.geocaching.com/live/campaign/wheelofchallenges) starting yesterday I needed to find at least one cache.
I have been ever so slowly working on trying to qualify for [atsmug's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=353a2e8b-5904-474e-90ad-d2fabca356a5&wid=6bf98b06-d536-45ac-91bf-cd21d5b90511&ds=2) [AUSmer Challenge (GC6XVTD)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6XVTD), so I decided I would try and find the nearest traditional cache that would fill one of my missing months.
So I opened up [project-gc](https://project-gc.com/Tools/MapHiddenMonth?profile_name=horror.fan.jm&country=Australia®ion=Victoria&type%5B%5D=Traditional+Cache&submit=Filter) to try and see what traditionals I had nearby that would fill a missing month, when I saw this one.
So I hopped in the geomobile and headed over. I had DNF'd this cache previously, but after seeing [veevers12's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=2b7babbd-a783-428d-8684-91236b1a0f8e) [log](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=f1df0acc-4a62-4591-a843-84a15037f98a) I was confident it was still there.
So I parked the geomobile as close as I could to GZ and made the short walk over. With the sun already set the park was completely empty. So armed with my head torch I made a thorough investigation of the beacon at GZ and just when I was about to give up, the cache finally revealed itself!
*Woohoo!*
A big thanks to goes to Geof for originally hiding this one and to [ahomburg](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=6652f917-07cb-47e1-9efb-09207c508dfb&ds=2) for maintaining this one as long as you have. It was so exciting to be able to knock another month off the list! TFTC.

The cache container was in great shape and the logbook was pristine, clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

There were muggles working to the left of me.
There were muggles walking to the right of me.
There were muggles asking me if a lost dog was mine.
Not great reception in the dip of these hills so my coordinates had me spinning around.
So I decided to quit before I looked too creepy and came home with a lost dog.

Motivated by stubbornness and Veevers confirmation this was still here I returned and thankfully avenged with a smiley.
It's still there
I wasn’t sure if I’d find this after so many DNFs, but a thorough search ensures that I was able to find it and sign the log.
It’s very well hidden. Don’t let the hint put you off. If you keep looking, you’ll find it.
Many thanks to Geof for hiding this cache, and to ahomburg, BernieH and anyone else that’s helped to keep it going for so long.
I’ll have to come back another day with the family to check out the railway when it’s running.

I had a DNF for this cache a couple of years ago and had another DNF today. I just don’t think this cache is for me.
Took us a little while to find this one. The hint wasn't accurate/clear for us but one last hunt around the area was enough to find it. This was Inge1997's 900th find!! Congratulations! TFTC
Cache nr 900!!! And we were almost ready to give this a DNF. The hint completely threw us off and after finding it we still don't quite understand how the hint is supposed to help? But so thankful we eventually found it as it was getting dark and I was determined to find my 900th cache today! Tftc!
I was all about to log a DNF and then I found the sneaky blighter. Thanks for getting me out today on this nice winters day.

Ordinarily, I would take two trains to get to the nearest station. Today, it's been two buses, two trams and three trains. But I got here.
And with a bit of time to kill, I took the long way to this evening's event.
The obviously recently replaced cache was another nice quick find.
Thanks, Geof, and others that have kept this in play for so long.

A simple cache to complete while walking in the area! We spotted the coolest mishroom nearby- it was tall and black! Thanks for the cache!
Not the first time I’ve been here looking for a hide. Thanks for restoring my faith in my own ability.
Container replaced!
All good to go
**Thanks for placing this cache ahomburg**

I searched for a while, but decided fairly quickly that there was nothing to be found.
Unfortunately I couldn't find it today. Looks like someone has possibly taken it.
I promise I looked, but I mustn't have had my eyes open properly, will have to come back for this one.
The echo of chainsaws still ring out through this area and will likely continue for weeks to come as the clean up effort after the storms continues. The nearby pool was empty today and based on its green shade I suspect it will remain shut for winter. This was a quick find and I managed to find a gap in muggle traffic to sign the log.
Thanks ahomburg for the cache.
Thanks ahomburg for the cache.
No swimming today, found the cache neatly tucked in. Thanks Geof.
Today my mission was to focus on specific LGAs to increase my find count. Luckily while the clouds looked threatening, rain did not hamper my searching. Mission accomplished!

Well we found it but couldn't sign log as I lost my pen. Will go back and sign the log later. Good easy find on another cold arvo
A little confused by the change in container but my son and I found it after a short search, thanks!
After sharing ITEEM’s first Adventure cache, we came here for a quick find. I’m sure I didn’t know this miniature railway existed. Thanks.
I headed out for a spot of caching this afternoon and this area was my destination. Having completed an adventure lab not too far away, I drove to this one and parked nearby. A quick find. Cache was open and exposed to the elements, though luckily the rain hadn't gotten to the log. Closed up and replaced. TFTC
Thanks so much, wanted to write in it but pencil was a little worse for wear, thanks anyways
Lovely area, spend most weekends in the area and didn’t know about the pool or the trains
Nice quick and easy find today with not a muggle in sight. Thanks for the cache and keeping my streak going.
An unplanned trip to Mooroolbark created an opportunity (once the rain stopped) for a wander in this nice area.
Quick and easy find in humid conditions. TFTC

I was in the area to grab the '7' geo-art puzzle caches that I had solved overnight. I couldn't resist making the detour to grab this cache. I dropped off a TB that I have been carrying for a while. TFTC.
Happy Birthday to me. Found this under the cover of darkness on way home from work at 1:27am. Half expected police to come by and ask what was going on or people who live close by to be a bit suss but cache found quickly and log signed and off home to bed. TFTC
Easy find today, just as the Tennis juniors we arriving, managed to sign and hide without anyone the wiser. Thanks Geof for bringing us to a spot, we have never visited before.
Grub62 and I loved this park with all it's clubs. It being a Monday morning when we arrived at GZ it was pretty much devoid of muggles which made it a nice easy find. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
After a visit to our Chiro, Bunadoorian and I thought we would come and find this one. Driving in I saw the pool area and it reminded me of the Binnie Shell in Diamond Creek - I haven't seen a building like that in years. Then we drove on and saw the model railway. Will have to remember this as our kids had so much fun on the Lower Eltham Miniature Railway. Onto the cache - it was found fairly easily and we replaced the zip lock bag as the original had deteriorated. TFTC Geof and for bringing us to this wonderful area.
Whilst in the area I couldn't resist not finding this golden oldie. Judging by the container someone is maintaining thus cache for the rest of us to find. My thanks (I think) to the hatted one and of course the original CO for placing and keeping this one going.
The only trouble encountered was the yappie dog at the house on the corner. My lord, it just didn't shut up the whole time I was there.

Just pulled into the drive after a day out, and me and my sister decided to go find this cache, I'm still teaching her the ways but she's learning slowly
TFTC!!!
TFTC!!!
TFTC. The container wasn’t closed properly, so we fixed it up. Easy find, it’s a rainy day so of course no one in the outside pool!!
Cache replaced thanks to atsmug
