On Our travels we stopped at Alice for a few days and while walking to the telegraph station track we grabbed this cache, for us Ollie’s up is ok BUT down, oh the knees but it was worth the smilie, thanks for placing it

We parked as close as we could and made the short walk to GC.

This trip was sort of in place of a trip to a Mega that got canceled due to accommodation problems, I was quite happy when Goose said do you fancy to caching break in the Northern Territory as this would be the last State or Territory for me in Australia.

Our plan was to fly into Darwin on the Friday night have a couple days in the area then start heading South stopping overnight whenever we needed to, our next goal was the drive to the geographic centre of Australia at Lambert Centre and then head back to Alice to fly home ten days later.

We both had a great trip finding some important old caches, large ones and the odd clever one too, we found Ammo Cans all over the place which was nice as i think we have found most of the ones at home in Tassie.

Thanks for the cache.

We found a good parking spot near the school and made a shorter walk from there. SSR spotted where it was but couldn't reach so I went around from behind to grab it.
Thanks tttedzeins

Our Northern Territory journey began in Darwin around 3am after a very delayed flight. We drove as far north as Fresh Water Camp (northeast of Darwin), followed by a loop to Liberated Cox (out to the west) and Litchfield National Park returning to Darwin. We then headed south with overnight stops at Katherine, Daly Waters and Devils Marbles before reaching our southernmost accommodation at Erldunda. From here we did a day trip to Lamberts Gravitational Centre on onward past Finke. Our last couple of days were in Alice Springs with a side trip via Hermannsburg and Glen Helen, all up covering just under 3800km. My thanks to all the COs with hides throughout the territory for helping make our trip so enjoyable.

Yes certainly enroute to a cache! All 18 of them. What a fun day walking around the telegraph station and surrounding bushland and river collecting caches. This was my first. A nice easy find on a quiet morning in Alice. Sat listening to the tweet of birds and the sound of kids in the nearby school. TFTC...eatmorchikin from Brisbane

Day 27 of my trip north from Adelaide, through central and western Queensland, into the Northern Territory, and now heading south after a couple of nights at Alice Springs.

This morning I was up early to find just a couple more caches before I left.

I enjoyed the walk along the river in the cool of the morning and, after a short scramble up the rocks, I soon found the cache.

Thanks tttedzeins for the cache.

Nice quick find. Gorgeous day in Alice, why would anyone want to leave this lovely town. I'm only here for 3 days and I'm already regretting my plans for the rest of my holiday that takes me away from here although I suspect where I'm going will also be as lovely and memorable.

We are visiting from Tasmania, and after a climb up Anzac Hill for the view we decided to walk to the telegraph station. We thought the network of tracks was great, it was just a pity that we did not have time to find all the caches in the area - we will obviously need to come back at some stage! We followed the track and wallaby pads to the cache, but didn’t spot any wallabies. TFTC

Our last full day in Alice, along with trying to add more smiley tokens to our geo-map, a last minute catch up with friends and the Sunday market were all on the agenda. Plus of course being on time for the fireworks show. We picked this one up as we completed Mrs Bradshaw's Constitutional.

Thanks tttedzeins for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Found it.

Still catching up on logs from the Northern Territory. We had a fun week and a bit there. We seen some amazing scenes everywhere we went and handed out too many favourite points to count.

Thanks so much for placing this cache for our enjoyment while in the NT.

Dam goat country. Thanks

16-Apr-17
Found on our Red Centre Experience. We detoured from the Bradshaw walk so that we could complete this cache. Walking on the path was very easy and relaxing along the river, but then the last 50m was quite difficult! Eventually, in the strong heat, we reached GZ for a very quick find - we just had to be cautious of dingoes and kangaroos. Lovely views. TNLNSL. TFTC ttedzeins!

###Trip to the *Red Centre Experience* 2017###

Unfortunately, half of our team is home-based due to work commitment, the other half is lucky enough to be Alice Springs bound, in the company of Team Indiana08. Therefore, for a couple of weeks, our team will be attending some events and possibly finding the odd cache in different states.

---

While walking along the Bradshaw Trail, this cache was too close to be missed. So a short detour was in order. After a bit of a climb we had a bit of a chuckle when we inspected the cache container. Very nice idea, it definitely caught us!

Thanks for this bit of entertainment!

13249. Next find of Day 03 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip.

I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.

Next stop for the day. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.

#6815 - 10.45; Day 13 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. We are in Alice Springs for the Red Centre Experience event which is the primary justification for our trip. Today's mission is to cache in and around Alice Springs, taking advantage of the public holiday to clear high muggle area. In all the day saw us collect 67 finds without a DNF! Another great day Cool. After collecting a few caches to the north of the old Telegraph Station, we were no making our way around the Mrs Bradshaws Constitutional trail. All caches found were in good order, including this one, which we took a detour to collect on our way around. TFTC ttedzeins & Claire Madonna Smile

On the road to the Alice Springs Mega with LuckyL10n and Albida33. We arrived in Alice Springs to pick up fitzy_1965 to complete our group and set about the fun of attending the event.

We spent the next 5 days caching around the region enjoying the area and finding a lot of the local caches. A great spot to visit and well worth the effort to get here.

Thanks for all the caches and fun in grabbing them.

It's pretty quiet here in town today on Good Friday, a challenge to find somewhere to eat but good for caching without being watched! We decided to walk north along the river, enjoy the scenery and see how many caches we could add to the day's total. We spotted two rock wallabies here too! Thanks for the hide.
