Driving a motorhome from Sydney to Adelaide, and not much time to spare, we decided to find a cache in each town. This was the one for Orange.
The cache didn't take much finding, but the log was very wet and mushy which made it difficult to write on.

I kicked myself in the butt with this one, look at the same area a couple of times before I saw it, Nice cache 2nd one for the day, Log was wet thou, but was still able to sign it and put it back. TFTC.
First one in Orange. Gz had me at a tree but cache sense kicked in and found in the first spot I looked TFTC
This one should have been an easier find but muggles kept us waiting followed by poor searching techniques. Thankfully cache was soon in hand . TFTC.
A nice simple, find find. Also Team K.S.L.'S first find, so it'll always be special one.
After not seeing it the first time, I returned and there it was staring me in the face! Nice cache!
As we were departing Orange early and it was unlikely that I would have the opportunity to cache later in the day, I needed to find a quick and easy one in the pre-dawn gloom. The closest unfound caches to where we were staying seemed to be above average in difficulty so I took a brisk 1.2km each way stroll to Lion Park to pick up this one. Fortunately, my judgement was correct, this was a straightforward find and I was soon back at the motel to pack the car and check out. Nice one Scenic routers, thanks for the cache.
Gotcha !!! Breathaliser on the Hwy grabbed us just before we arrived at GZ parking. TFTC
A neat little find on a cool Saturday afternoon. Nice to get a look around Orange. TFTC
Found on a day of caching in the Orange District.
This was a nice quick find.
It may be a Lions Park but it was the gorilla across the road that caught my attention.

Found whilst avoiding police detection. An RBT stop was set up on the road next to the park, so stealth was required. TFTC
The thirteenth find of twenty on our journey home from Nyngan to Hazelbrook.
A quick find while we ate our lunch in the park.

We had hoped to find plenty of caches on our Orange mini-break, but the weather was not our friend so we decided that two would have to do it and we would get outta town to try and find some nicer weather. Or at least some snow to make the freezing temperature and icy rain worth it. After one small false start enzo made the nicely hidden find. TNLNSL TFTC!!
The i-PHONE led us straight to this one.
Signed the log and we were on our way.

Found my 100th geocache this 2013 Australia Day long weekend, but I'd never logged any of my finds. So I decided now is an opportune time to do so!
This was cache #43, found on a caching afternoon in Orange. TFTC!

Orange is the first town we have come across where there are two different parks honouring two service clubs (Lions and Rotary) and in which there are plaques to the memory of former members of the individual clubs. This park was dedicated to the memory of former members of the Lions Club. Our GPS correctly identified the object on which the cache was hiddy but indicated the wrong side. After searching unsuccessfully where our GPS indicated GZ should be, we widened our search are and found the cache. TFTC Scenic routers.
A cold and miserable day; sat in the car next to the park eating our lunch then went to find the cache. SL TFTC.

We didn't have the time to stop for this one on our way west on Saturday, but it was just down the road from where we stopped for a late lunch on our way home, so it seemed like a good idea to have a look for it.
bikerbuddy correctly guessed the hide location but went to the wrong end. I looked at the other end & spotted the container .
Thanks Scenic routers, nice little park to have a rest in.

We saw this cache appear on the GPS map on our way out towards Wilcannia on Saturday and I pointed out to Toriaz where I thought the cache would be. W didn't have time to stop then, but we stopped on our way back home the next day. Sure enough it was where I thought, but Toriaz spotted it before me. A nice park. Thanks for giving us a reason to stop and take a break.
Found it No. 4325 ... with all the rains thought it might b there ... TNLN ... TFTC Scenic routers
This was very tricky as there was a RBT happening on the main road and we were getting some funny looks but we managed to find, sign and return cache. TFTC
Bit wet outdoors today but still went caching and was rewardedwith some finds. Tftc
Took me a bit longer than I thought, but I got there in the end.

Nicely hidden cache - found after a nice strill through the park. A good start to our day - thanks Routers.
A nice stroll through a quiet park is a good way to start a day's caching. And a find just makes things so much better. Thanks.
Off to a good start for the day! A nice easy find in a pretty little park.

There had been a muggle sitting very close to GZ earlier in the afternoon so I walked back to the park after dinner and drinks at the Metropolitan. Eventually located in the dark using the light of the GPS. Thanks Scenic routers.
Orange 11. It is great to see some nice parks around town. This one was empty so I had no problems looking for and finding this cache. Thanks.

Found while on the “Scenic Web Lookin” Orange mini blitz. Almost had to give up on this one only the CO was with us. He was about to check to see if the cache was still present when he saw a couple of stars and while he was in his dazed state the little sucker revealed it self.
Thanks for the cache and entertainment.

Out for a weekend's caching with Black Bunny. We could have chosen better weather - it rained and hailed and poured and there was thunder and lightning, and we got wet and muddy, and had no dry clothes to put on. On top of that, we took the dogs, so we had wet muddy dogs, with that distinctive wet dog smell, in the car all weekend as well. Black Bunny was very keen to get a few caches, as his average was dropping, whatever that means! I think we managed that, as he came home with a smile on his face.
The park was deserted, so this one was easy. All the sensible people were at home, keeping dry.

Clever hide took us a few minutes. Second one of the day with the geofamily & the Southward 4. A young muggle nearby made for a sneaky replace of the cache. TFTC
Nice spot good coordinants
was wet and rainy when found making me need to tinkle in the fast running water
