Solved the points until I hit WP3, but I was not able to see a sign. I had a think about the options and only one set of coords made sense so a move to that spot had the cache in hand quickly. Thanks for placing this cache but WP3 may need review.
Intermittent rain greeted us today while caching in and around Wagga but that didnt stop us enjoying the cache variety on offer. This 4 digit multi was a must do today, so a little bit of homework had been done from home. Starting at waypoint 3 we were confused as there wasnt any numbers on the sign that would work for the next stage! After going to waypoint 2 and checking the answer we were certain we had the right numbers. That led us to a very helpful friend giving us the necessary number. We can tell you now that is certainly not at waypoint 3 anymore.Anyway we eventually got to GZ and we were happy to sign this oldie. Thanks thequilts for the multi placement.
Spent the night in Wagga after dropping one of the kids at a Venturer Camp. After an early start and a delicious breakfast I initially started searching for a few Adlabs before sorting out a few physical caches (need these for the current souvenir). A route was planned and success was had at all caches including avenging a couple of avenged DNFs.
I strayed this one a while ago but WP2 was not the direction I wanted to go (and road is now closed so a longer drive), so left for another visit. I looked on Thursday night and actually thought I could work out a likely GZ anyway (new WP2 even though I got A incorrect!). I played with numbers and thought I had a likely spot for both WP3 and GZ. Stopped at the former and could see nothing - must be something wrong there. Kept driving anyway and overshot my GZ (I had other plans here) so walked back and what do you know there was the nice size cache. Not certain where I went wrong but all good in the end!

Called into Wagga for an overnight stay on my return from the Whittlesea Mega in Victoria. Always enjoy a good multi and after gathering the required information and doing the maths, I enjoyed the drive close to GZ. A very short walk soon had my favourite cache container in hand, ammo cans are simply the best!
Thanks thequilts for the beaut multi and great hide.

Heading out of town for the long weekend and we called into Wagga on our journey for a bite to eat and comfort stop.
No worries with the wp's and calculated GZ.
Quick find at GZ and we were on our way again.

Found on a trip around central New South Wales with e.gregory1. Our original plans were to travel through Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba to attend the Dayboro event in Queensland and return via Port Macquarie and central NSW, but a series of events that included road closures due to flooding in southern inland Queensland, a covid outbreak in Brisbane and widespread storm damage and road closures along the north coast of NSW resulted in multiple changes of plans during the trip. As it eventuated our travels took us to central New South Wales, on a route from Broken Hill to Cobar, Nyngan, and Gunnedah from where we meandered southwards through some great scenery and historic towns that included Dunedoo, Wellington, Cowra and Yass. We then headed in a roughly westerly direction through to Temora, Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin and Swan Hill before making a final dash for home. All up we found a good mix of Traditionals, Puzzle Caches, Multicaches, Adventure Labs, Wherigos, Earthcaches, Letterbox Hybrids and Virtual Caches on a very entertaining and enjoyable trip. Thanks for the cache thequilts!
Found during a week in the Riverina.
WP1 and WP2 were calculated with ease. I was a little uncertain with GZ calculations but after a reasonably short drive it was clear that I was in the right spot. TFTC

As mentioned in previous logs, the details at WP3 could be a bit ambiguous, but was comfortably navigated and I was soon at GZ. This was a really well put together multi. Thanks!
Found it after calculating to get coordinate.

This was a very interesting multi that took me much longer than I had anticipated.
I had no trouble with WP1 or WP2. At WP3, as previous finders have noted, a sticker with a new number on it has been placed over the old number on the sign. While both numbers are readable, only the underlying number will work in the final calculation so that issue was quickly and easily overcome.
And then the fun began. Using the information from the three waypoints and the formula on the cache page, I ended up with GZ in an area that was not accessible.
Not willing to give up after the effort I had already put into it, I thought I might just take a drive and check potential sites at a different longitude along a road near the inaccessible area. And within a few minutes, and to my great relief, I found the cache.
Thanks thequilts for what turned out to be a rather frustrating cache!

Boy did we do some running around to get to GZ for this cache, far more than was really
necessary. We started wrong right from the first WP, maybe we need glasses or need to go back to counting class. This turned out to be the tune of the whole cache for us today, our excuse is that we were to tired to think properly. Got there in the end today. SL TFTC

After my plans were spoiled of going and doing the ‘T4.5 Tree Climb Trail’ in Walla Walla, I decided to clean up as much of west Wagga as possible. This is because I still had a little bit of time up my sleeve but not enough to make it Walla and back. There were a various amount of hides and challenges which led to a great day out. TB visit on all found caches today. On some of the smaller log books/sheets I signed as 30/8 JM. I did enjoy my few hours out and I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for the fun I had while finding them.

This one was next on the list to find. Seeing how I found WP1 & 2 in the comfort of my own home I made my way straight straight for WP3. After decoding what it was asking to do I made my way to a possible GZ. Soon after arriving, I found it! It was an appropriate container for the location. TFTC and for the interesting multi design!

After working out the waypoints and following our nose we ended up at ground zero. Now it was time to find the Treasure at the end of the Rainbow, was it far or war it near.
We found it, checked out the treasure, signed the log, replaced it then on our way to the next cache.
Thanks thequilts for the cache Lil Donna

Easy find once you are sure you haven’t miscounted. Not that one digit in the WPs made a difference getting to GZ. Note the numbers at WP3 are partially covered. Use the black ones. Lots of swag for kids in this one and log clean and dry. Thanks for the trip around our local area.
T4TC - We were worried we had the wrong coords but wow what a cache. Loved this multi.
First find for geo sister in law on introduction to caching. Great fun and great multi. TFTC!! Cache in good tact

10620. Found during a caching run down to the Wagga region this ANZAC Day long weekend.
Day 3 of my trip dawned and this was the next cache on my list. I had gathered various WPs as I drove around, and now it was time for WP3 and GZ. Im sure this could be a bit unnerving for some people but I had an all access card up my sleeve if I needed it ! Lol. Once WP3 was sorted it was off to GZ. Quick find of an appropraite container at GZ. Long time between drinks for this one. Log was signed, cache returned and I headed off to the next one.
Thanks thequilts !

Our whole intention today was to knock off a few "yellows" off the screen - ie:multis and this was one of them.
This one, as the name suggests, is "not to near", but enjoyed the drive around the countryside.
We had to recalculate at one stage before finally making our way to GZ, a spot we had already driven past! LOL.
A nice sized container and enjoyable trip. Many thanks Thequilts. TNLN SL - Cheers.

Out and about on a wet chilly winters day with good friends Haveanez on a Wagga wander.
Thought today would be a good opportunity to knock off a few multis around town, this one included. A wet miserable day but still good for a short drive round the countryside. Made one small mistake at counting something which left us with a head scratching moment calculating coords for Gz, but after a short drive we were back and able to find the nice sizable cache. Finally found something a bit bigger than a small cache.
TNLN, Cheers.

#251 no added to the collection with day 21 of "A multi a day for 30 days" now recorded it is getting toward the end this multi was a long winded and enjoyable multi.
This started about 6 days ago when on my way to town decided to stop and obtain WP1 information. Did the required sums and found that it was back from where I came so wrote down the coordinates and thought would get it later.
WP2 information was obtained and as time was again short it and again the next WP was in the opposite direction I again wrote down the coordinates. On my merry way with a little more time went into WP3 and obtained the necessary information and after entering the coordinates found myself pointing in the wrong direction again so thought to myself you now have the information for GZ so next time through with enough time to spare go and get this one. So Today was the day on my way home from working in wagga I finally made the quick grab at GZ and was rewarded with another in the long line of successes.
Thanks thequilts for a truly worthy multi and a wonderfully put together challenge. overall it would have been quicker if I had dedicated an hour to do it but didn't and found this method of doing this multi just as satisfying as doing it all at once.

Wow this was an adventure. Almost hit a dog at WP1, almost hut a kangaroo going to WP2, and couldn't understand WP3 due to bad wording I believe. I used an educated guess and was on the money as I soon had the cache in hand after arriving at GZ. TFTC!!
Not too far, not too near, not too big, not too small. All things considered, this was just right. TFTC.
got coords for GZ, it was just in the opposite direction to where i was heading so thought id come back another time to get it
Just wondering if "Frankie Bear TB" (TB328F8) is still located in this cache. I'm passing through the area at the end of January and hoping to retrieve it for its owner, Smurfyguy. Can anyone let me know if it's there and either retrieve it and let Smurfyguy know you've got it or leave it there for me to pick up. Thanks for your help. Cheers - Calypso62
Great locations for the waypoints, however I didn't agree with you wording on WP3. I guess saying what it actually is would give away the location! TFTC
Tried to send a message to the owner but was not able to do so. I was wondering if the owner was able to retrieve my Frankie Bear TB that has been in the cache for a few months and move him on?

after about 3 hours of scrounging around the roads around the army base , we finally gave up . my Garmin was saying that the cache was inside the army base !
Dodging the roos was the scarey bit early this morning when I braved the cold morming to find the last waypoint for this cache. Very nice area. Thanks for the hide. Very appropriate container.
FOUND WP1, WP2 AND WP3 NO WORRIES. THE NUMBER YOU NEED AT WP3 IS 5. I HAVE TOLD EVERYONE THIS AS YOU CAN BARELY SEE THE NUMBER FROM THE ROAD ON THE SIGN SO WE QUICKLY JUMPED THE FENCE TO GET THE NUMBER. HIGHLY NOT ADVISABLE AS WE WERE SEVERLY WARNED BY MILITARY STAFF NOT TO BE IN THIS AREA. GOT TO WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS GZ BUT COULD FIND NOTHING AND ONCE AGAIN WERE APPROACHED BY MILITARY STAFF AND WARNED.
Found 15:00 a good multi with an excellent stocked cache. My Tom-Tom didn’t have part of a road in it and wanted me to make a 16klm trip. I continued on and soon found WP-2. After that my Tom-Tom and I worked it out. Left TB and exchanged swaps. Thanks we enjoyed the not so far journey.
A lovely easy multi that had us checking off all the points just the way we liked it. Clear skies

Found the required information without too many issues but do you think I could get the maths right? It's not that hard... Once the correct GZ was calculated there was a nice quick find at a GZ with a bit of work going on nearby.

Great cache. Thanks for going to the trouble of planting a nice large cache with decent contents, and a nice drive to get to it. Well thought out, though I had a different number for "A" at WP1. I worked out what must have been meant based on the fact that I drove right past the sign looking for it! Easy find once I got there, possibly my favourite Wagga cache of this trip. Took Activity Book for my daughter, left LED torch. Thanks.
The name summed it up well.

After finding the first few waypoints, I was thinking this would be easy... Until I got to WP3, and calculated GZ and headed off... then things went downhill as I couldnt seem to find any access to GZ. I phoned a friend, and ascertained that I may have been on the wrong track, but by then it was time to head into town, so I decided to leave this for another trip, after I find out what my GZ calculation issues were.
Otherwise, it was a nice drive!

Well. We got the answers ok and calculated a gz, and once there it seemed to be an appropriate spot. Our searching came up blank so we phoned a friend. Then another. It wasn't until the cache was found that we realised that I had put the wrong coordinates in and we were 30 metres out. Sorry Partner!
Alan and I pushed the barrel out a bit on this one attempting it after dark. We emerged in the right area but in our haste had the wrong coords in the GPS.
A call to Rubik explained where we should have been and the large ammo can came to light.
We had an interesting experience on the way out as our presence had alerted the local authorities who provided us with a spotlighted ushering out of the area.

The little I could remember of my previous trip to Wagga Wagga 18 months ago was a wander around this stretch of road near GZ. I went with the most obvious answers and found myself at a likely location. Deano made the find because he is a god among men when it comes to cache finding!

We enjoyed this multi, especially the break between wp2 and 3 for lunch. We enjoy these type of multis. We were confused after reading some others logs that they had problems with their calculations, however, on thinking about it, it does pay to read carefully and count properly. Lucky we had just had a big sleep in and were fresh for the day. Once found, the cache had many swaps in it. impressive things in it. Thanks

Found by Mary & David at about 1700. We managed to make a real meal out of this one. After finding WPs 1 to 3 without any problems, our calculated GZ didn't seem right, and we saw more of the local counrydide than we needed to. A check of previous logs showed another cacher had had a similar problem. We weren't sure where we'd made our mistake, but after some expert local consultation, we worked out what we'd done wrong. Our revised GZ was a lot more sensible, and we had the cache in hand shortly after arriving there. TNLN. Our thanks to thequilts.

Cache Twenty-One of Twenty-Two on day two of the Wagga Wagga/Acts2’s Birthday assault in company with Dak Emu. What better way to celebrate ones birthday than be out caching with your caching mate. This was an epic journey passing two caches that we were able to do on the way. I sure was glad that I had my el-cheap-o head lamp; you don’t need to go out and buy thirty dollar headlamps all you need to know is what globes to buy to make them in to super high powered darkness piercing, sign reading ones. We finally logged the cache at 22:15. Thanks to the Quilts for the cache.
Cache thirty of thirty-six on day two of the Wagga assault in company with acts2youthgroup (who was celebrating his birthday). It wasn't all that far, but it wasn't all that near either. It took us a fair while to log this one, but we managed to log two others in the process. I couldn't discern any connection between the three waypoints. [?] Anyhow, the only waypoint that gave us trouble was WP3. The number was a little too far away to see easily (a disadvantage of a night time assault), and we didn't fancy jumping the fence! Acts2YG's you-beaut, high-powered, super-penetrating head lamp revealed all. The final cache was an easy find at 2215. Thanks to thequilts for the cache.

Completed this one on our way out of town and heading home after completing about sixty five caches in the area in the last three days. Didn't have the trouble Mtbikeoz had, we followed the GPS and it took us where we needed to go. Lots of goodies in the cache; left some coloured pencils and took bubble blowing soap. Were a bit startled by nearby machine gun fire or a lot of rifles at once, not sure which.
Thanks for the cache and the good time we had in Wagga.
