Checked this morning and cache is definitely missing. I note this cachers other remaining cache also requires maintenance and they have not signed in for over a year, and all their other caches have progressively been archived as well.
Pretty certain this has been sprung by muggles ...
Had an extended hunt around GZ but no joy. Seems odd that nobody has logged such an easy find since early January - especially when other caches in the vicinity have had regular visitors.
Emailed owners but would be keen to hear if anybody else can find track the cache down.

Found this one about a year ago but not sure of the date. Amazing feature to have in the middle of the city. TFTC
The constant stream of people coming to fill all matter of containers on a Sunday at 5:10pm was amazing enough. In the end we decided to bluff it. But as we hopped out of the car all the bottle fillers dissolved and we had the place to ourselves just long enough to do this one and the one next door. TFTC
What an extraordinary place. Water bottle fillers were arriving contantly, even in foul weather. TFTC.
Found on our second visit - too many muggles first time round, but all quiet today. TFTC
1557 Nice quick find in the early morning before the muggles were up and about. TFTC
Found while caching in the Petone area - delicous water - got sprayed a bit by the wind.TNLN and thanks for the cache.
When I arrived saw someone sitting at GZ and wondered whether he was a muggle or fellow cacher as he seemed to have no interest in the main reason for the site's existence. Couldnt find anyone that would fit from the log so guess he was a muggle lol.
A few other muggles coming and going but they didn't stay long: weather was windy and water was being blown around so people did what they came to do and moved on quite quickly, though some in a car were sitting beside the GZ for a while but fortunately moved off.
Good hide and quite an easy find.

Found this one after working out which direction we were facing.... hung about looking very suspicious for 10 minutes or so til muggles finished filling up their bottles! TFTC
Had to hang around trying to look nonchalent for some time whilst muggles stocked up on water! Then i thought I had found something and it was chewing gum ..ugh...much to amusement of my paua ranger companion!! After a rather undignified scouring of location i found it. Great .TFTC
Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 162. Pretty quick find, and took the time to fill up my water bottles. Thanks.
We are staying nearby so gave this cache a go this evening, along with the earthcache. Lots of people filling up bottles, but cache easily and discretely recovered. HOWEVER - despite being careful, only half the cache was retrieved! The other half remained in situ. We're leaving first thing tomorrow so what to do? I had to walk away with the cache in pieces in my pocket, and luckily came across a general store that was still open. Bought some superglue, reassembled cache (without getting superglued myself) and dashed back to the spring to replace. Hopefully the cache will be secure now, and that I haven't accidentally glued the lid shut... Many thanks.
Found easily, only one muggle and her child nearby. Unfortunately a part of the cache has broken apart so I have taken it away now to glue... will return it this afternoon. TFTC
Cache returned, now it is able to be placed where it was again after being fixed. Cheers, sibehusky
9.00pm. Had to wait for someone filling there 20L bottle and just as he finished another guy turned up to do the same.
Waited for him to finish and then made a dash to grab the cache.
Took it back to car to sign the log and also added a new log so it should be good for a while.
Then a third guy showed up this time with 3x20L bottles, but we managed to get the cache back into position without him seeing.
We have also added another log to the cache so it should be good for any further finders.

Found with Biggles while on a Wellington cache run. Stealth required as there were lots of muggles filling dozens of bottles at gz. I will need to give Biggles a lesson in shoe tieing, first step where shoes with laces! Great fun, we had a huge laugh here, the muggles probably thought we were crazy nuts. TFTC.
Find number 31 on a day caching in the capital with Kiwi Explorer. I have never seen so many people filling water containers before. Had to resort to shoelace tying to stealthily find the cache, then Mr KE pointed out my shoes didn't have laces. Hmmm, TFTC, Biggles.
A steady stream of people here today - great container, and really good water - Who needs bottled. TFTC
Found with tmann421 and Hugo the dog. While we were locating the cache, just happened to look over at the car and saw two little darlings trying to break in. Had a couple of words with them (you can guess which ones). TFTC.
Found Sunday afternoon - lots of muggles around filling bottles, but still an easy grab with care. - Watch your vehicle, even in broad daylight, as we were only 25metres from it, an attempt to brake in was made. SL TFTC
Got it this time, after accidently getting off the bus at the wrong stop. Filled our water bottles at the same time.
Cheers and thanks,

This one wins a prize on two counts The most popular spot with muggles and the smallest cache I have ever seen.Great hide TFTC
Had to wait for a quiet moment . A steady stream of people with all manner of containers on a Sunday afternoon.
Forgot to log this when we found it. Checked the cache log today (27/6) to get the date right.
Found with baby&Mrs gopher while on our NZ trek. A great spot we had to visit while doing the earth cache. There was an unbelievable stream of muggles at this place on both of our visits. So we created a diversion with a camera & they had no idea what we were doing.
Thanks for the interesting stop,
Roostaman.

Found by baby&Mrs gopher with Roostaman on our NZ trip south at 1700 incredible the amount of folks that get their water from this water hole.TFTC
Found with no trouble while also doing the earthcache next door. The steady procession of muggles were all too intent on filling their HUGE water containers.
All this unadulterated water is good - to a point - I prefer a few additives in mine... malt, hops, sugar and yeast to be precise

Came back to GZ about an hour after completing the earth cache and after waiting for a couple of minutes the cache was in hand. Quick find. TFTC
This is what I call a small cach! Challenging to locate without muggles spotting us ... good fun
Dropped by to fill up the water bottles and having already previously completed the Earth Cache variant, wanted to nail this one down - Not too many people around so accomplished easily
The magnet repair job appears to be working fine for now so no major rush on the maintenance front guys... TFTC!
Dipped in a couple of GCs for some photos then off they went again!

Well, this was a pleasant surprise!! We finished collecting our earthcache info, and clicked on ‘next’ to find that it was only 4 metres away!!?? We were puzzled, but after reading the cache info realized that this bonus was indeed the case. A quick find was made between waves of muggles, but replacement was a different story. It took a little time to complete the formalities, and to reconstruct the temporary repairs and by this time 4 groups of muggles had turned up. Fortunately Annie was already sitting literally on the warm paving stones, so some inane conversation about lizards sunbathing and discussion on photo angles provided cover for the re-hiding . The No. 8 wire style fix of the previous finders appears to be holding up for the moment, but a maintenance visit should be made ASAP. TNLN TFTC
The magnet came unstuck as I removed it from its hiding place. My wife and I effected a temporary workaround, but I don't know how long it will last.
Our 100th find!!! Although the view (of a with smaller pants than he required bending over filling up his water bottles) was not too pleasant!! TNLN
Muggles, muggles, everywhere ... almost didn't get it on my 3rd attempt today, but finally there was a clearing and I was able to locate and obtain the micro-cache. After gathering much water (and drinking some of it), I was able to return the cache to its customary location.

Thanks for introducing us to this water source: my wife thinks this water has a very nice taste and wants us to drop by here every time we are in the Hutt Valley.

Muggles, Muggles everwhere!! Had to be inventive to create diversionary tactics to retrieve cache. Lots of fun this one. Thanks baldie-n-blondie
TFTC. Coordinates are a few metres away from cache, but decrypted clue made for an easy find. The hardest part was avoiding being muggled in this very busy location.

First micro cache for us.
Amazing to watch people coming and going filling up containers!

Quick find as we had a good idea what the cache would be. Much nicer water than the previous cache at Waiwhetu Stream! Lots of muggles getting water so not interested in us. TFTC
Found this on returning from an evening stroll to find another one, after not being able to find it a couple of nights ago. Being a 'newbie' to geocaching it was a good 'learner' as to what to be looking for after initially being adamant there was nothing there! Thanks 'blondie-n-baldie' from another 'blonde & bald'!
Great place to put a cache - in that it takes great patience to be able to search. We sat (the granite benches hold the heat well) ... listened to conversations ... studied the art work ... went away ... returned ... and finally managed to grab.

Taken there by integersmirk and The Penguins, got to taste the water and find this cache. Busy spot! TFTC
Grabbed this one in passing, had missed it before, but remembered what the clue was this time around, timed to perfection, no one was filling up at the time
No one around late in the evening so a good time to tackle this cache. Interesting spot to have in an urban area. TFTC
This was a very busy spot, even on a cold wet day! Mrs W.E.K.A.filled her water bottle and thought the water was very nice. TFTC
Oh yes - have been past here lots and never realised it was 'the' spring. TFTC.
Log very full

I work very close to this site and I have been looking for an opportunity to visit. Last time I was there, I patiently waited while someone filled three 20 litre containers then took them to his car and returned with another six to fill! My big moment finally arose late on a Saturday night following my work's Christmas function. The log is full, but I squeezed my entry in using very small writing. TFTC.
Quick and easy one.. First time actually here to taste the water.. Stying about 2 blocks away.. Very interesting to find out we are living ontop of water

Went back to make sure it was still there. This was before I realised somebody else (CrystalFairy) had already been and found it! It's still there, so the muggle that caught me out obviously chose not to care what I was doing or did have a nosey and decided not to vandalise it. Phew.
Found it, but somebody saw me (I wasn't quite careful enough, I thought there was nobody around but someone turned up while I was on my knees).
I'll check that it's still there in a couple of days time.

Was alot of people around had to come back later. Was a quick find. Paper is full. TFTC
Easy find, but very hard to put back as a car load of people turned up with boxes of water bottles and put them just where we needed to be. Waited for clear air, then proceeded. Log is now full. Signed log. TFTC
Found on a rainy and blustery day while a muggle filled up his bottles. TFTC
Well its been here for a few years now and ive lived in the area for ages and have finally managed to pick this one up. Always knowen were it was but this area is proberly muggled 24/7 anyhoo finally got there. TFTC
Second visit in a day- I forgot to bring a pen at first! At least it's close as I live a few blocks away now
#399!
7.30pm. Disgusting night rain pouring down with wind not making it much better in the dark. But found it none the less. Off now for #400!

Lots of muggles about, had to be discreet. Wind was blowing so hard it was throwing water everywhere!
Jr taybee has this own account how am logging this old find under his new Username (Jr taybee) was log as part of taybee team
A nice quick find whilst I was in the neigbourhood. Managed to grab it whilst some muggles were looking the other way. Cheers Gav [2452]
Have had this one on my do list have drive pass this one and all way there are people around but no today so it was a Quick find thanks
Wet morning, got in before the rush of bottle bearers arriving to fill up. Easy little find. TFTC.
Found today on a wet day. Was busy with water gatherers but we got a break in the muggles and found it easily. Didn't know about this so nice to find something new.
A quick find on a cold Friday Afternoon, yet still people turning up to fill up water bottles.....so did the same.

0paco0, Red and the Cache-dogs found it.
Amazing: we had to queue up to fill our drinking bottle: there were people with whole crates full of bottles filling them up - on their way home after work!
Well, it gave Red a chance to "do up her shoelaces" and grab the cache. After retreating to the car and filling in the log, we filled up the dogs' waterbottle as well to return the cache,
Excellent placing - great cache.

Nice easy find and so close to our new home in Petone. Was a wet and windy night so not much activity in the area. We did how ever fill some bottles for ourselves while we were there and were able to show the brat the cache to.

14:31 Wow loads of muggles. Quite a surreal place with people filling all kinds of vessels. Had a handy water bottle as a prop to sign the log. TnLn. Thanks for cache B and B.
