No response to the Needs Maintenance and no emails can be sent to the owner.

Time to go?

25-Oct-15
Adding in my DNF. We looked everywhere, but no trace of the cache.

25-Oct-15
Toriaz and I didn't check logs before looking for this one. When we couldn't find it, we checked them, and thought what others must have thought who have DNFed this: this one looks like it's gone.

17-Oct-15
No find in the fairly obvious hole.

We shall return when we know it is there.

17-Oct-15
Time for a check, please.

17-May-15
The hiding place seemed pretty obvious & we found what seemed like cache swaps on the floor. We feared the worst & after noticing it hadn't been found since before the crazy summer camping season we presumed it may be gone? Hopefully we were just suffering from cache blindness!

10-Dec-14
Fantastic tree specimens, what a pity there is no maintenance in the area.

30-Nov-14
My isolation finds this one, as per usual lol. I was busy looking at pine cones. Lovely day out in this area

29-Nov-14
Found today while fossicking in the forest with my Gpskyp

Now this is our type of cache location – no-won around & a nice area visited – left TB TFTC / TFTH // SL

20-Oct-14
Hooray! A previous attempt which resulted in a DNF proved to us that we had in fact been looking in the right place all along. Thanks for replacing the cache. Baby Doom took the balloon stamp and we grabbed the TB and left Mario. TFTC Smile

07-Oct-14
Stopped here for lunch on the way home from a trip to the Warrumbungles. Cache was an easy enough find but a real mess. It was buried in dirt and pine needles with blackberries growing all around it. As we were stopped for awhile we did a little cache maintenance.

The "place" where the cache hides was dug out and the black berries removed. The cache and log have been replaced with a new same size container. I won this container and log at a recent event in Canberra to it is quite fitting to then give it to another cacher. We also added some camo that should look appropriate.

27-Jan-14
Tftc tis wet beyond opening, missing 1 clip nd blackbarries growing from gz, put a dry log in there wrapped in plastic but doubt it will help

21-Nov-13
Found on a geo trip with tmann421, great area with lots of scenery to visit.
Thanks to all the geocachers in the area for bringing us to some great spots.
Sorry for the late & repeat logs, just so many to catch up on. Smile

21-Nov-13
Another good find with TuisReturn
We enjoyed touring around the area finding caches

LOG STILL TOO WET TO SIGN TFTC

17-Nov-13
Log soaking WET, container damaged & needs replacing. It is covered by thorn bushes.

15-Nov-13
Log soaking WET, container damaged & needs replacing. It is covered by thorn bushes. This is found by reading previous logs, & if unable to do that the clue is fairly straight forward, I found that the logs of previous cacher's was extremly correct & this cache is in need of maintenance before it is worth the effort or the drive.

10-Aug-13
Stopped off on a trip to the tip and luckily found the area clean of weekend warriors. Unfortunately the box and contents are so totally soaked there was no point in trying to sign anything or take or leave anything. Needs a different type of container perhaps

Mudgee Trip 2013. Maybe the weather caused my location problems, but this one was over 10m from my GZ. Thankfully the clue provided another good spot to search and there it was. All pretty soggy now. Thanks.

Geo-nan found the cache, after the rest of us had given up. Log is too wet to write on as lid no longer seals. Needs some TLC. Left it safely back in it's hidey spot.TFTC.

30-Mar-13
I came expecting this to be a DNF, but I guess it all depends on where you park! I too had a good look in the appropriate tree at GZ... Certainly nothing there!
But on the way back to the car, I spied a suspicious UPR at the bottom of another tree a good 15m from GZ. Lo and behold, a cache within! It's a bit soggy (i couldnt log, but attach a photo) and the container should still be replaced... But at least now I've placed it back in its intended spot. No ninja standas guard anymore, but a bit of new camp has sprouted since he visited. (I'll try to attach a second photo). Thanks Unbreakables for a 'walk in the woods'.. A beautiful place indeed!

02-Jan-13
After a thorough search of where the most logical place would be (and others!) we came up with nothing except pine sap covered shirts. At least it smelled nice! We left a yellow ninja where we thought the cache would have been.

26-Sep-12
One of or group had found this some time ago, and she assured us that we were eventually looking in the right spot. Seeing that it hasn't been found for about 9 months, I'm wondering if it may be missing.
It certainly is a beautiful spot.

28-Jul-11
A beautiful day to be out and not a muggle in sight. A nice spot to stop for a while. TFTC

28-Jul-11
Parked close, grabbed the cache and enjoyed the quiet. The container is broken and the log is damp, although we were still able to write on it. We sealed the log and the cache in plastic bags, but if someone is passing, a new cache container would help keep it dry. TFTC

loved the drive up in the pine forest tftc Smile

A detour on the way home from Bathurst for a quick hide that needs some attention as log book is damp.

tftc tnln sl found when camping near by thanks

26-Apr-11
plenty of trail bike muggles about including one who asked us for a tow for his water logged GQ Patrol in the nearby forest. He went to get a trailly so we SL and replaced the cache with 10 pence, sans green frog. We set out to discover a 4wd that had been in some sort of State Forests water dam.. Odd angle and very much parked into a wall of rocks with the rear wheels firmly held captive. It was to far gone for us; petrol prado on road tyres and then there's getting into the dam.. Even with the AT's we'll get it was mission impossible. They were taking the tow truck option when we left...

25-Mar-11
Trevor took John and Bev and us out on a drive from his farm today, and this cache, just down the road was ideal to show them what caching was all about. Trev soon had the container in hand and brought it back to the car to show the others what it was like. TNLN, but the container doesn't seal properly.. Thanks The Unbreakables.

08-Jan-11
took some time but was worth it

26-Nov-10
Thanks, looks liek a place to come camping in the future.

24-Jul-10
this one nearly had us stumped, but we found it in the end. great hide. Smile

03-Apr-10
Could not find it think it might have been taken by muggles.

06-Dec-09
Nice quick drive by today. Had to watch muggles who were nearby, but fortunately GZ gave good cover. They must have wondered though, why one member of the party jumped from the car ran up the "bank" and then the car caught up and walking party jumped back in the car. The muggles then drove off whilst I completed caching duties in the safety of the car.

Thanks for the cache. A great hide. Covered it up well.

Got the turn off wrong so had a short walk in the sun. Good to see so much pine forest. Interesting drive and nice hide. TFTC

Found with Tramper Ted. It was a "sunny corner" today. A good hide - we were surprised to see so much pine forest in this area - it reminded us of our home country, NZ.

Heh we spotted this one from the car when we pulled up at GZ. Sure enough, hand went straight to the spot, and had the cache in hand. Cheers Gav [4285]

2652.

After a couple of days in Bathurst we had to meet up with someone at Lithgow at lunchtime so we took the scenic route. This was the first find for the day and a quick one it was in a nice spot.

Thanks The Unbreakables for the cache.

Found itBig Grin! 10:05 Passed by this way on my way to Lithgow for the long weekend. I guessed the location of the cache pretty quick but I had to break out the tomahawk and hack down some spikey stuff before I could put my hand in there. Bingo, found the stash. Took the TB, swapped some batteries for a role of tape, SL TFTC.

Out for a nice drive today. I was trying to find some mud in the state forest. Didn't find any mud, but did find a cache!

There is a big stake nearby that is useful for dealing with the prickles ..

The cache was sitting out in the open on the grass. Not sure if it had been muggled or just fallen. Everything inside seemed in order though so probably the latter. Found a likely hidely hole to make it a little safer. TNLN.

04-Mar-07
Our 4x4 comp took us right past this cache so I had no excuse not to grab it.
Thanks

Is it dinner time yet??

Almost!

Stopped in, had a gander, went in circles till I found it protected by spiky nastinesses! Wink

Signed the log, stopped going in circles and headed towards a frog plague!

We finally got around to doing this one. No muggles here today but it is wet, cold and miserable Sunday night...

Locals may not realise this. The reason for the new road being constructed is the atomic research facility being built in the area which no one is suppose to know about so don’t tell anyone.

Nice one Mr Mac. A few muggles around when first arrived but they soon scarpered after they saw my ferocious boys.
