17:24 Take II and another Dnf found a possible location but no cache at home. Will add this one to my watch list.
Talked to YuGeo4 later on, and the place I looked sounds like the spot the cache used to at, this one may need a check up.
Thanks for cache.

11:48 Alas a DNF for us. Nice spot that we had lunch at before looking the cache. Hopefully it is still around.
Second Visit, first visit was in failing light, typical when flax is involved. TNLN TFTC
Solved co-ords for this one before leaving home of course. Got to the location but had one of those times where reception gets a bit wobbly and very hard to get a stable fix on GZ. Searched as best I could before checking out the clue but that wasn't any help given the territory. Will try another day.
#292 Puzzle solved awhile ago. Oh NO, not more flax bushes, eventually found.

Return visit here today, after braving Friday after school traffic on a holiday weekend. What a little haven of peace this is! RadioNut honed in on the middle of GZ and started hunting.... Butterfly Lady stood and observed then searched one, then two.... FOUND! Found it! Found it! Found it!
Thanks again Zork - a special little place (Especially if one ignores the nearby warning sign, and views the water feature as a natural item)

Our 4.5 year old had fun with the puzzle. Got to the GZ just on dark, looked for at least 10min to find it. Swapped a treasure. SL TFTC
Printed out the pieces and reassembled them. I was quite surprised at the signs near the cache and would have expected to be quite offended, but wasn't. There were lots of places for the cache and I think I searched all of them before locating the cache. Twice.
Found after a FTF on 'Retirement hill'. Was rather easy to find a park. Area was a little soft underfoot, but that didn't stop me.
Eventually found the cache in the horrible flax. I Hate Flax!!
Another one to cross off, as it has been sitting on my todo list since May after calculating to co-ords.
Cheers Zork

Solved the puzzle a while ago when the cache was first listed by the old fashioned scissors approach. This was the first time we had passed since then and it being a weekend there was no problem parking. Very muddy around GZ and as we had no cache notes with us we were hunting blindly. However after a while we realised we were barking up the wrong cabbage tree, as it were, and finally located it.

Used to work nearby and the coffee across the road is excellent! Straightforward find. We'd solved the puzzle a while ago just needed to be in the vicinity! TFTC Zork.
Seventh of fifteen finds on my sixth day in Auckland. While travelling I don't have the ability to print things out, so I couldn't do the jig-saw puzzle. I had to use logic and visual acuity skills to sort out the coordinates. It was something of a punt, but once I got near GZ and saw the two benches, I knew I was correct. I found the cache at 1455. My thanks to Zork V for the cache.

Oh dear, we are not doing so well on Zork's caches today. Did the homework on this one, back in hometown, Hamilton. Very keen to find this one. Twin benches located.... squish, squish, icky sicky muddy approach to GZ. Hunt, hunt, hunt... okay, clue time.... [:(!] oh, dear.... oh, dear... is this a farmlet of those clues [?] [?] [?]
Just how little is little [?] no luck... widened search to include the whole farmlet, noting the specific instruction IN the clue. I guess it just blended in too well for our eyes.... Eventually squished, squashed back to the car.... and will have to admit DNF

I was out and about and noticed on the GPS that this cache was nearby, having solved the puzzle a while ago using some graphics program on the PC to cut the pieces up and reposition them virtually. On arriving at GZ, I thought it was going to be tricky to find, but luckily I spotted the non-camo bottom of the barrel. The ground in the reserve was particularly soggy after the recent rain, so you're better to approach GZ by walking along the sides than down the middle. TNLNSL, thanks.

Got the coords by just looking at the puzzle pieces on the web page. BaldEd and I went in search of the cache after waiting for a shower to finish. Don't know whether that was a good idea or not as I reckon I would have got just as wet either way.
TNLNSL.
Cheers for the cache.

Cheers for the cache.
I chopped up the puzzles a couple of weeks ago after having got a crick in my neck from screwing my head around looking at the pieces on screen. [B)] After waiting out a shower Tufty and I had a brief rummage in the wet flax and the impressively camoflaged container was soon in our hands. There was a quick log signing and a rapid return to the mothership was attempted non too successfully before the next shower arrived. TNLN. TFTC. Cheers.
Had fun cutting out the pieces and assembling them. Searching for the cache took a bit longer though.

No problems with the first part, the puzzle was to find the right way in, came in the back way across the stream. Lots of mushrooms on the way in. Saw the twin benches as I was walking away.
The longest part of this cache was cutting up the puzzle and oh figuring out which of the many small palms to look under TNLNSL
I stopped off en route to the nearby Gathering having had help from a grand daughter to solve the puzzle.
I needed to work around some wet patches to kep the shoes from getting soaked but I had a good fix which put me right on the cache.
TNLNSL
T4TC, I and the kids appreciated the novel puzzle.

4.10pm.We enjoyed this different approach to a cache. Sunday afternoon all quiet in the park (YAPIDNA) and not too difficult to find. The small palm revealed itself to be a reasonably big cabbage tree.
Took nothing.

[yay!!Cracked the code and found the stash. Great idea we loved the puzzle - v different.
The clue threw us because we couldn't get a GPS signal so we were guessing - once the signal came back we found ourselves about 50m off (no wonder I couldn't find it!!)
Nice camo work though the Oak moss (c) was missing

The palm referred to is Cabbage tree - didn't think these were palms so we were a bit confused.

The jigsaw puzzle was a good idea which wasn't quite as easy as intially expected. Got to GZ OK but realised that the hint was back in the car. Just about to head back to grab it when the phone rang and it was Zork himself who was kind enough to relay the hint and so saved us a small walk. Thanks
