Phew. Just found it in time. Had to wait for muggle free zone, but found the cache and wrote a log. Must be the last find.
TFTC. Enjoy your trip. Windy, sunny day and lots of fun.

Great trip out Couldn't find the cache as there was too little time and too many muggles. Pity as I could almost smell it - knew I was near. Thanks any way.

Different tour company, different itinery, only 4 hours on this trip, well worth it. Uses a different tearoom too, so nice and quiet around GZ.

Great trip with memories of my first visit to the lighthouse approx 50 years ago. Lighthouse keepers were in residence then and our transport was an ex army 4WD cavass covered machine with no padding on the bench seats. We had to share space with a concrete mixer!!!!. We were also given a guided tour inside the lighthouse not possible now that it is automated. TFTC + clips & car, - china buddha.

3pm What a find for the first day of the year!! We made the trek out here with the tour for this special cache, and only then realized that it was, I asume, a FTF!!, seeing that member Godwit did not sign the logbook, could he be one of the tour guides??? Well the great find made up for the not so great weather!!

Spent 3 hours on Saturday with the help of a large group of kids who were staying at the light house. From the Keepers house number 3 down towrds the west coast there is a path. Just off this in the dunes was a slightly higher dune which the coordinates centred on. From here we searched under every bush and could not find the cache. I think it has gone. DOC weed team were there a week earlier so may have found it....
