A long climb up to grab this one, but the views are definitely worth it! Pen gave out so I couldnt sign the log; I have a photo if you want evidence tankengine TFTC
Had a nice Australia Day picnic lunch on the top and then went to find the cache. TFTC
Quick find at ground zero! First time I’ve been able to say that today
Came up the Tennent scar and grabbed a few beauties including the Up The Scar multi, before DNFing this CO’s multi just on the other side of the mountain. Thought I might as well continue to the top and this was the reward…thanks!

Long day hiking, more then 25 KMs done under great weather conditions. Had more planned, but my hike was unfortunate interrupted by 2.5 hrs, only made it back to the car just before sunset. Most caches we're in excellent condition.

On a lovely saturday we got to the base of tennent at 7:30 to walk before the heat set in. Taking the route from the visitor centre was a lovely walk and the mountain looked very daunting. But we made it to the top for snacks and headed back down via the firetrail. Thanks to all who placed caches up here. All were easy finds (thank goodness!). It was a great adventure
Phew, nice to pick up a straightforward one just near the path. A favourite point for an easy cache reward for reaching the summit.

TFTC! Didn’t bring a pen. Great first cache find after lockdown! Beautiful day for it.
I had meant to come up here a month ago with the CO and friends on a maintenance run; alas, I was feeling bleh after my Covid vaccine so gave it a miss. Fast forward a month and today found the GeoKids and I getting a bit of the school holiday boredom, so we packed up and parked in the usual spot off Apollo Rd (spying the cars of our caching buddies StarsAlign + Contesta there too!).
We set off along the fire trail on what turned out to be a superb winter's day. As always a spectacular, although steep in parts, walk. It's great to see the regrowth after the destruction of the fires, but also sad to see the damage caused which is very apparent when looking across to Deadman's Hill and Booroomba Rocks.
All the 25 caches we found today were in (unsurprisingly) excellent condition and were quickly located at GZ with the assistance of bespoke coordinates and generous hints. All up we walked 17.68km return with an 820m elevation gain. The trip took us 6:20hrs which included generous breaks for snacks and fo me to get my great back (the GeoKids charged up and down the mountain!) as well as a short diversion into Bushfold Flats hut.
This is a superb caching trail, Tankengine - thank you! We all enjoyed it immensely.

Found on a morning hike up tennant with alphabetsoup! Love the cold winter mornings. Tftc
Cache is in pristine condition.
Out on the trail with Tankengine, AngelG27, Joolay, and Contesta to find caches with owner maintenance. First time back in this part of Namagi after the fires.

OMG we made it. What a mammoth effort getting here. Views are magnificent but I don’t think my legs will be talking to me for awhile. And I still have to get back down. Not fit at all but great company and that made it all so much easer.
Found with Tankengine doing cache maintenance, , Isopeda, Contesta and AngelG27, calling ourself J.IC.A.venturing up Mt Tennant. Not sure if I am crazy or not. Fabulous day to be out and about.

Cache 7620 on 5 Jun 2021.
Out with a bunch of geocachers to climb Mount Tennant on a Sunny but cold winters day. The bunch of cachers being Joolay, Isopedia, Contesta and the CO. The CO needed to do maintenance, so we decided to join him on a walk/bike up the hill. All caches found (as originally placed or as replaced today) in accordance with the hints unless otherwise indicated.
Last one for this trail! I have been wanting to climb Mt Tennant for ages , but did not have the fitness or the courage to attempt such an understanding until this year. The walk up was tiring, but stopping every so often to look for caches was a bonus.
We started in a winter wonderland with frost covering all the grasses next to the trail, and even at the summit at lunchtime, there were frosty sections. We stopped for lunch at the top and enjoyed the views and then made a slow trip down. Ended up being around 6.5 hours including all the rests, 800 m elevation and around 17km in total walking. Such an achievement to get here!
Thanks Tankengine for the caches, the exercise and the fun! Fav point comin at ya!

After a freezing start to the day, was lucky enough to be part of the ‘official maintenance crew’ - signed as JICA - assisting the CO to check on the Tennant Trail series.
Decided on taking the MTB as it’s not had nearly as much used as I would have liked in recent weeks so any excuse is a good excuse right. Up up and away! Great adventure to finally find this series after the fires.
Excellent condition, untouched by fires!
Grateful thanks Tankengine, for placing and maintaining so many great caches that continue to bring joy and entertain me on my journey.

While I hadn't intended on doing such a large hike, sometimes the moment just takes you and you have to keep going... We started off about midday from the bottom of the Alps Walking Track near Naas rd, making our way up past Cypress Pine Lookout and over some beautiful waterfalls, starkly contrasted by the charred tree trunks and lush green ground cover. Heading further up the mountain, I lost count of the steps. I can see why this is such a popular walk. A nice challenge and amazing scenery.
Reaching the junction in the track at the top, thighs burning, I was a little disheartened to see that the peak we had been aiming for was actually the wrong peak, and there was another 2.5 vertical km's to go. We pressed on and although agonising, finally reached the top for an incredible view - making out black mountain tower and the wind farm near Lake George in the distance.
All up we did around 15kms in about 4.5hours, with a ~650m total ascent/descent (the GPS was a little off, still getting used to it). Not a bad effort for a hangover cure hike!
As always, we were greeted by a great TE cache in good condition and a cute little tank engine broche. We made a swap, signed the log, and started on the (much faster) descent back down. Thanks as always TE!

Amazing day for a hike and even better to find a cache
Didn't have a pen, so didn't sign the log.
It musty have been tough for Thomas to get up here but he's still smiling

Did the Apollo firetrail route up with a mate, arriving at the top to discover 3 muggles, clear blue skies and some spectacular views. Muggles kept arriving and departing (a dozen in total I think), so I didn't get a chance to search. I'll come back another time
Thanks for the cache and the newish log!
Wow..2 hours up to here..enjoyable apart from the last k of road! Really neat views this morning. Tnln. HOTA

Woohoo! Made it to the top. Quite a few other people up top with the same idea as us today (except I'm pretty sure we were the only cachers).
Fabulous views and a nice place to stop and rest for lunch. Tried to pick out the next peaks I might tackle while up here.
Now to just get the legs motivated to start the trek back down again.

Yay!! We made it! And what an awesome view!
BoujeeBunny and Tankengine had made plans to come and pick up the caches all the way up to the top. As I hadn't done these yet I asked if I could join in the "fun".
So BoujeeBunny picked Tankengine and I up at about 8am and we were parked at No. 1 just before 9am. 6hrs later we had climbed up and back (approx. 15kms), collected 25 caches (for me as I had done No. 1 & 2 previously), had lunch, seen a hut and met a lot of crazy people who seemed to just climb the mountain for fun of it without getting one cache!! Muggle Madness!! We were even passed by one crazy person who was running down the road - we bet that he had run up it too.
It was a good day for it though. The weather was cool and clear, but I still had to take my jacket off half way up. The rain from the previous night had softened the ground, but even though there were a couple of times one of us would sink up to the laces of our shoe in a spot or two, the road was mainly just soft which I think was better than hard dry ground. The wind at the top was chilly though and once we had stopped and sat down for a little to eat lunch I had to put my jumper back on.
As Tankengine was there each cache of his was checked and maintenance performed if necessary. The couple that weren't his were all fine too.
Thanks for a great day guys and of course TFTC Tankengine!!!

Came up here today with dty73 and BoujeeBunny! A maintenance run for me and a whole bunch of finds for them! . It was a great day! Removed the old logsheet, added a waterproof inner container into the outer container, and added a new logsheet! - Good to go!
Another one done. Woo Hoo! I enjoyed finding this one at 2:39:54 PM with OzGeoBerries.
I love the challenge of the geocache hunt - read the notes, decipher the cache requirements, and go searching for the hide. This is an amazing world-wide game of hide and seek. I love it! I also enjoy caching with my 2 boys, and meeting fellow cachers. It really is a small world when I read over cache logs and see names of my friends who have found caches around the country. Thanks go to **** for making the effort to place this cache and maintain it. It's a great contribution to the Geocaching community and it is very much appreciated.
TFTC! Cheers. *Jump Pilot*

What a climb!!! An incredible trail with breathtaking views. The weather turned at the summit and we got some lightning and thunder, so our time at the tip was cut short. A great (but slightly wet) walk back down the front. TFTC
It had been a while since I'd walked up a good hill (six weeks in the complete flatness of central-northern Victoria followed by a dodgy back will do that) and if you're after a good hill, Mt Tennent is as good as any. I had walked this trail once before without doing any caches - one of those days I just felt like walking without stopping to cache - but today the caches beckoned.
Quite a long, tough walk and a few days of aching legs followed, but it was definitely worth it to summit Tennent on this glorious day. All caches found without trouble. Lyrebirds spotted. Emu tracks spotted. All rather excellent.
This was the one addition to the Tennent Trail caches on this trip. A very neat one to finish off and nicely placed to avoid the inevitable muggles.
Apologies for the generic caches, but you'll understand. TFTC x 20 something

I frequently climb Mt Tennant by the trail from the Namadgi park visitor centre, and am well aquaninted with all the landmarka of this trail. Some 18 months ago I went with a GPS to find caches along my well-travelled route, but for some reason never logged them! So last sunday I ascended the hill again and, equipped with gps and my memory of the locations, I quickly picked these up again. I could also find my previous logs and determine the exact day I had found them previously!
Thanks for the cache.

Walked up here in about 3h...no rush...with few caches found on the way.
The views were not perfect as it was quite hazy, but on the other hand from down it looked like there was no top at all:-)

Have placed the trackable 'Dobby is free!' in the cache Tennent's Tip located on Mt Tennent in the Namadgi National Park. He is enjoying the view and I wish him luck in his future travels around the world!
With the warmer day it was a respectably early start collecting CBR_Grahams along the way that had us starting to walk about 7am. With the cool of the morning the almost continual climb wasn't noticed any where near as much as I had thought it would as we walked upwards stopping as needed and taking a few breaks. The casual approach made for a very scenic and enjoyable walk, taking in the area and its views as they appeared. Good company and plenty of conversation passed the time and although that one last climb at the end towards the summit was felt, arriving at the top and taking in the 360 degree views made the walk completely worth it.
The highlight of the top would have to be invited up into the fire viewing platform with the most amazing views and the very high powered binoculars we were offered to take it all in. Spectacular!
The walk down was a lot slower with the heat of the day and was surprised at how steep it was at times, but overall was a much easier and achievable walk than I could have imagined. The last hill up to the car was by far the hardest of the day but the esky of ice cold drinks waiting for us was very welcomed. Thanks for the cache Tankengine.
Wow! Just wow! That last hill was the hardest but the views at the top are so worth the climb! Greeted by the fire spotter up in the tower with an invitation to climb up if we want so one last cache where I snagged a branch for a couple of decent deep scratches on my leg! Now were caching! Couldn't pass up the offer to climb the tower and the views are 360 degrees of magnificent. Up to date on all things towers and fire spotting which was very interesting and a long chat in general with the best views. Although hazy, visability was 25km and usually so visable, Telstra tower 19km away was distant and tiny. With the offer of the binoculars to take it all in to much to refuse the experience and location is a FP for sure!
Spent a long time here including lunch in the shade of the tower, no missing the massive insect population flying about including those giant biting monsters and after the effort to get there was in no rush to walk back down.

So Aquilus1 messages me, "do you want to do the Tennant Trail", for sure... when? "tomorrow morning", hmmm OK, The geowife gave the all clear and I set the alarm to stupid-o-clock so we could get it all done and dusted well before the heat really settled in. So we park the car at 7am and Aquilus1 very patiently waits for me to make the first two finds which she has done before.... right, the real action starts now!
It was a surprisingly pleasant walk up the mountain, though we decided not to kill ourselves and we took our time. We walked past a few caches without realising.... we were way to chatty but these offered things to do on the descent. At the top we were invited up onto the fire viewing platform which offered amazing views, especially with the binoculars that they use.
All in all a long, but very rewarding day. The car never looked so good and there were even ice cold drinks inside...Yay!
The views from up here are amazing, its hard to describe it as you only get glimpses of it along the way. After finally findhing this very last cache, after some serious rock hopping and bush bashing we could accept the invite of the fire spotter to go up the tower and have a look... the views from up there make the ones from below look awful. And, it was here the mountain extracted its blood price on me as I grazed my knee on the ladder up to the final level of the tower.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache and the whole series.
Found on a hike up mt tennant with Lpud. The views up here did not disappoint and came away with some great photos. TFTC
TikvaNZ and I decided Christmas Eve was a perfect opportunity to undertake a 6hr assault of Mt Tennent, by completing the Tennent Trail series up to the top and plenty of bush-bashing down the other side. 28 caches, 1 small brown snake, 1 blue tongue and 3 goannas!
Well, we got to the top. Nice views. TikvaNZ had collected this one, so I wandered over to GZ and soon had the container. Signed and on we went. Now for the downhill bit - not the firetrail, but the scrub. TFTC TE

Torrevieja and i have been wanting to climb 'the scar' for a long time now. Finally we found a day where both of us were free and after a bit of a sleep in and a cooked breakfast, headed toward the namadgi visitors centre. We rescued a turtle from the middle of the road along the way and begun our journey after placing him in the pond at the visitors centre. Onward and upward. We hit the track, looked at one another and said "that feels like cheating" so continued to the top through the scrub. Amazing rocks, amazing hike, amazing views. Prefect day so far. Tftc!
Found with WingedWombat on a trek to the top via the scar. Saw three Lyrebirds in our travels! Found the cache with ease however must have lost our writing implement on transit. Discovered a really great rocky outlook nearby to have a tasty lunch. TFTC!
Attacking the Tennent Trail and some today. 30 caches found with only the 1 DNF for the day. Car park to summit return, including breaks was 6:02 hrs. Great day to be outside. TNLNSL TFTC
Extra challenge today was a layer of fresh snow hiding the cache. The container in a container worked and the log book is dry. TFTC
We arrived at the top and took in the view. I realised that there was one more Trad up her to collect... A bit of a bash, but hey, I got there

Out on a camp with a mosly broken GPS on my phone (unless I was lucky) meant I could only get 3 caches from the 30km I walked in total...... shame really, need to get it fixed
Only geocache I managed to get up here, but thats ok because I will have to plan another trip up here when I have more time and a working GPS as there are many more. For this one I managed to borrow another phone and find it with a few others on the hike!
Thanks Tankengine, good location for it away from the muggles

Well, it was hard work to get to the top. At least for me. But I am glad I did it and the many caches along the way as well as the great views from the top made up for the sweat and sore legs. Many TFTC!
A good find with WELS School about 10 minutes after our arrival at the top of Mount Tennant. A bit of bush bashing was required, but soon the cache was in hand and the log was signed. Thanks to Tankengine for the cache here at the top of this beautiful mountain.
Found with The Pi Guy around 10 minutes after topping mount Tennent. After a slight bush bash, our participants had found the cache, signed and returned it back where it belonged.
Thanks Tankengine for the cache here with the amazing views and an extra goal to reach the summit of the mountain.

4761. Well Relish64 and myself decided it was time to hit the trail, so with backpacks loaded we made a casual start and headed off.
A great trail with some welcome breaks at each cache. No troubles locating each one and eventually we found ourselves at the top with some very rewarding views.
We totally agree that everyone should at least come up here once and we will definitely be back up here again. Maybe a different route.
A disappearing act here into the bushes to claim this one while a few muggles were perched at the top.
Many thanks TE for the extra motivation with this trail and apologies for the generic log.... but you get that !!!

Easy find at the top. SL TFTC And thanks for the series, A great walk and great views.
After the string of caches found prior to getting to this point, it was a bit surprising to find ESA on fire watch today - this was the only other person I saw all day. He did his thing, I did mine. No authorities were alerted during the caching of this cache, lunch was eaten, and great photos were taken. A great cache all round - and not even part of the series! Thanks for placing all these caches up this walk, Tankengine. Definitely made it worth the effort (almost 20km hike in total for the day).
Found today with some bush walking friends. We walked to the summit of Mount Tennent from the Namadgi visitor's centre, and then walked down the other side of the hill to collect these caches. I think Tennent is actually probably easier form the cache direction, but less scenic. Overall, 1,000 meters vertical ascent and about a 16km walk.
Thanks for all these caches, much appreciated.
Thanks for all these caches, much appreciated.
Finally got to the top to be confronted by hordes of Teenagers, so quickly got off the top and down to find the cache away from the noise. Heard a lyrebird trying to make some calls which was nice.
Cache found OK, but inside of outer container was damp. Inner one seemed OK. Left pathtag.
Thanks for bringing me here!

Nice morning for a walk up the hill. I doubt this is much fun in summer. It's a pity they don't open the house on the hill to the public. Tftc
#1243 24 of 24 today.
I have a 'spare' week of leave to use up. Hmmm what should I do ? Sit around at home ? Not likely !
I've had the Tennent Trail in my sights for some time. I've been up here once before on a bush walk about 5 years ago. The view was one of the best I've seen. Time to revisit & claim a few more Tankengine caches. I must be getting close to 100.
I was a bit worried about doing the Tennent Trail today after waking to wind & rain, but the forecast was for clearing conditions, so I thought I'd delay the start & head out anyway. I'm glad I did. As I climbed higher & higher the conditions progressively improved. By the time I reached the summit, clear blue sky, a few gusts of wind but otherwise lovely, uninterrupted, breathtaking views - with no muggles.
Now finally at the top. Well, just over it actually. I climbed the highest rock on the summit, but it was a bit to breezy to stay up there too long. Wandered down to this one which is now my highest find.
So the final stats: total distance: 17.37Km (return) total ascent: 914M min elevation: 563M, max elevation: 1355M.
Thanks for the cache Tankengine.

Last when in the area for the earth cache at the old tracking station we saw this bush power trail and thought that looks like a good leg stretcher so we had it in mind for today but things got away from us a little bit on checking the forecast we figured we could still get up and back prior to night fall. We parked and headed over to the gate for the first of the finds we had targeted (we are on a bit of a diet to avoid 1.5/1.5 caches. The creek looked to have a bit of water flowing in it but as we got close we could see it was very shallow and our shoes would be water proof enough for a quick dash. We started to get a feel for the hides but skipped two on the way up as the school had a camp setup happening but we got them on the way back down. We also could not find two others on the way up and rather than use up all our time searching instead of reaching the top but found them quickly on the way down. A walk with plenty of Roos around for a round trip of just over 3.5 hrs. A couple of damp logs but all signable and we drained what we could from a few containers. TFTC.
The outer case was full of water however the inner was fine and dry. A fav for the trail

When the Canberra Walking Group (a Meetup group) posted a walk up the scar, I didn't hesitate to jump at the opportunity, even though it meant procrastinating with bookwork I needed to get completed. The day dawned foggy, but cleared up as I drove out of town to the Namadgi National Park Visitor Centre. It was a chilly frosty morning there. We headed off at 0810 and soon warmed up. A quick stop on the way to collect the info at WP1 for 'Up the Scar' multicache, then it was a scratchy bush bash to the stream and a fun climb up, collecting three caches on the way. Awesome views from the top - Canberra all covered in cloud. Now downwards via the trail, ... TFTC.

14:00 - We hung around the tip for a bit phoning home etc (reception is really good here under the tower) after finishing TEs Tennant series.
...And then I noticed there was one more. Are you up for it, Dad? Sure!
He was a bit concerned, as we bashed our way through the shrubbery - unsure we wouldn't tumble over the edge, I think. Then back to have a rest on the granite slab and a cup of billy tea. Geo-dad met a fellow Nepal-phile while he was boiling the water and they chatted and compared notes, while I tucked into some lunch. Perfect way to finish our climb. Thanks Tankengine
(we were back at the car by 4:30, having started at 9:00am, much longer than Dad's usual 4hrs up and down from the East side although I know he didn't mind and really enjoyed it too)

Got to the peak! But is there meant to be a view? Not today! Visibility was about 10m, but with no wind, it was a very peaceful.
No point in hanging around, checked how long I'd been going, and was ready for a fast descent!

Enjoyed the hike to the top and the fantastic views of Canberra. Found the Geo with about 5 min of searching. Left some cool treasure for the next person.
After the trek to the top, left the geofriends to go for a quick hunt for this one. took many routes all being unsuccessful, I took a last ditch effort to still get through the trees, shrub and other obstacles in my way... Eventually got there and signed log.. Needless to say, I found a much easier way up. TFTH
Took a while to figure out *which* burnt stump, but eventually got it. Found with tulliem.
Einmalig auf der Spitze des Mount Tennent mussten wir uns auch noch das letzte Stück bis zu diesem Cache durchkämpfen. Hier kommen wahrscheinlich nicht viele Cacher vorbei...

We were happy to be on the top of the hill after 4 hours. But we had to find this container too. Thanks for this challenge and the cach. #3812
And we made it!!! Worth it for the views[?] Always, but sadly the overcast weather meant the views were less spectacular than I imagine they could be. Booroomba rocks certainly looks amazing from up here though. When we reached the summit, the first thing we saw were two vehicles with workmen - hence the electrical noises we'd heard at the last cache. Well that's always depressing when you arrive somewhere exhausted to see others just driving up!! They were well away from GZ however.
Found the cache at 12:55:00 PM to make it a total of 3h15m just on the up leg . Slow and steady but we got there!
After signing the log we sat down to a well-earned cup of tea and lunch. Then, much revived, began the descent.
Thanks Tankengine

This was a fantastic series of caches, and certainly a great incentive to climb Mt Tennent.
Many thanks to Tankengine for providing such a great series.
I even found a bunch of 6 hikers on the Summit and converted them all into Geocachers, and they found some caches on their way down.
Finding the last one , this one took a while, but was well worth it.
Im really tired now though.

Found this with Rick on a walk up Mt Tennent.
Took us about 1.5 hrs up the technical trail, and just under 1.5 hrs back down. 14.75 km total (including distance to cache and back).
Just as i'd finished writing the log entry, my pen exploded and threw bits of itself all over the ground, which was smashing. i managed to find all the bits and remove them.
Left nowt, but took the bottle opener which was stopping us from closing the cache lid. Will drop bottle opener off in a larger cache at some point. Also took geocoin trackable.
Nice walk up. Got me some exercise, and nice views from the top. Might have to see how we go riding (mountain) unicycles up/down at some point.

Haven't been up Tennant for nearly four years. Since the time of the one smiley on top there is now a great collection. Started late, so hiked up the Southern face as quick as possible with Fit02, lunch at the top (great hot chocolate thanks to Fit02). Rapid decent with caches along the way.
#100! The ninteenth cache of the day whilst climbing Mt Tennent with my dad.
YAY! I have finally made it to 100! At the start of the holidays, Tankengine set me the goal of finding 100 of his. At the time, it didn't seem likely as I was only at 65! But I thought I would have a shot anyway! After riding an extended route around the lake, on Mt Taylor, Farrer Ridge and in Coombs and Wright, I was within sight of this goal. Today, I headed up Mt Tennent as it was almost guaranteed that I would get there. I decided to make this one the 100th and worked from there. After 2 hours of walking, we made it to the top and there were tons of people, all having lunch! Waited for a few to head back down and then pounced! After a short walk, we found the cache(s). Took some photos and then signed the log and replaced the cache. Thanks for all the fun Tankengine, I wonder what is in store for the next 100!

First time up this peak, and really enjoyed it. A little snow on the ground and managed to get into a snow fight with a group of strangers. Perfect cache for my 50th milestone! Thanks.
We finally made it....the last 100m was a killer, but I was so close, knew we would rest and have some lunch and enjoy the view so surged ahead, we were only 10 mins or so behind SiteHounder, TripperOutTher and AmethystPig. Thanks for the great set of caches Tankengine, the pain was worth it .
Found with the Tennent Tragic Team on a great day's climb. We decided to make for the top and leave some caches for the way down coz it looks like we may get some rain. We ended up splitting into two groups as Darzee was having trouble with her calf muscle and the faster ones surged ahead. We arrived about 10 minutes behind them and took us about 2.5 hours to get to the top. Had some lunch and took some photos before heading over to grab this cache. Made a path tag swap and checked out the view. Great to get to this cache. Nice one - thanks TE.
Found at 1120. After an hour's solid slog from #10 of the 'Tennent trail' series to the summit, it was a relief to drop the backpack and venture after this one carrying only the necessities. After scrambling over rocks and through undergrowth we arrived at GZ, and tripperOutThere soon laid hands on the container - and then found the less-healthy 'bonus' one. The log was signed, a wattle pathtag dropped off (and quickly snaffled by another of the 'Tennent Tragics') and a geocoin sought (but discovered absent), then after checking the old container to see if there was anything worth salvaging everything was tucked away again and we headed back to the tower - just in time for the rest of the team to arrive.
Great views from the summit, and even with the wind-chill factor (which was bordering on 'brass monkeys') it was a good chance to rest, have a bite to eat and take a couple of photos.
Thanks for the cache Tankengine.

Wow. What a cache to mark my 500th find. Great mountain with greater views. Full credit to Primary Evidence & Zangetsu for their help today. Green-martian had been up here before, and his guide was very much appreciated. The clouds were not much higher than us. Other walkers had also arrived to enjoy the views. After a quick bite and photo shoot, it was time to leave. Pitty I cant say the same about the pain in my feet. Thanks Tank Engine.
This one was over tip! Does that means it's tipped over? tripperOutThere made the find with AmethystPig and I there to observe. The rest of the Tennent Tragics were about 10 minutes behind us.
It was then back up to the top for a bite to eat before the trip down again. TFTC

After arranging to tackle this series and a few extras today, the team consisting of Zangetsu, TheSkype and myself headed off on the Mount Tennent trek. After meeting up with the "Tennent Tragics" at the carpark, we split shortly after and made our own way onwards and upwards.
Nearing the top, we met up with Green-martian, who guided us down the rocky escarpment from the peak, down past "Tennent Trauma" and back to the vehicle(s) via the rock/mud slide and following the creek bed nearing the bottom. What an experience it was!
Apologies for the generic log(s), don't normally resort to this but with multiple logs it was to be.
TFTC and the series Tankengine!
Well worth it and thoroughly enjoyed.

Found with SiteHounder and Amethyst Pig. I actually made the find on this one. My first of the day, I think. Tks TE!
PS No trackable in sight. I think there was supposed to be one, but I had a good look in both containers and couldn't see it.
