Logs

I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[navy]This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can . . . . . . . and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 . . . . . . . . . . I have disabled it for you this time! [^]

Please respond to this situation by 21st August to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. Sad

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/navy]

I put a new container and log out yesterday. Didn't even last 24 hours. I recommend that it be archived. High Rollers have not been active for quite a long time.

22-Jul-15
Arrived at GZ to discover an uncovered hidey hole with rocks and bark scattered. Seems to have been muggled yet again Sad

20-Jul-15
I still see this showing up on my map.i have replaced the container with a log and pen only. See how long it lasts.

10-Jul-15
Please put in new one thank you

29-Jun-15
Once again this cache seems to have been muggled, about a month ago I placed a container here with just a log book in it, but it looks like the this area is too well known to the locals as my container and log book have gone AWOL.
Sadly it might me time for this one to go.

28-Jun-15
Searched the area, but sadly a DNF for us here today. [8)]

Obvious spot located bu not cache as expected. Twisted

26-Jun-15
we are staying here for the next few days and will have a look, but dont hold out hopes with the previous logs, is the CO still caching surely a driveby is worthwhile?

06-Apr-15
I went past here yesterday and didn't see the cache in the place that I had found it previously.

I hear from a couple of sources around town that the cache has been muggled (someone said that they saw it with stuff strewn everywhere).

Might need checking.

Not a lot of water in the pool at the moment, hope any fish that may still be in there are doing OK. Earlier in the day we had a chat with Gordon from the RSL club who told us that he learnt to swim in the pool and that they used to have competitions to see who could swim the furthest underwater on one breath. Apparently his brother was the king of this and Gordon was second best at this. His brother was able to regularly swim more than 75 yards on that one breath. When they felt that they where out of breath they would take in a little water and then let it dribble out of their mouth as they swam along. Not sure how this worked for them. SL TFTC

Apologies to CO's for not logging specifics about their cache.
We certainly appreciate all the effort cachers go to hide and maintain their caches.

20-Sep-14
Found, after dark with torch. Needed maintenance badly, I have replaced thr container, kept old swaps and added a new book and swaps.

End of season football function. Our torches caused a muggle to approach us from the Football Club rooms, we had plenty of time for 3-Point turn and kicked some dust in his face. Watch out for football muggles.

Had just ordered some fish and chips for lunch and we ducked up here to try our luck for a cache or two. We made this our first one and it was interesting to check out the old pool complete with diving boards still in place, thanks High Rollers for the cache and for showing us this old piece of St Arnaud's past. Worth a fave from us for the history of the area.

A fairly easy find once we were on the right side of the fence. Found at 3.10pm on our walk around town. Passing through on our way to Mildura. Stayed the night at the local caravan park.
Sad to see so many businesses closed down in town which was probably once thriving.
Loved the pool and history behind it all. TFTC log was a bit wet.

We spent a wonderful over night stay at St. Arnaud. The caravan park where we stayed would have to have the best views of the town.
After the lunch break we went out to find a few caches. We drove around the town along farm roads & 4x4 up a mountain. The caches were varied a great after noon of caching.
This location must have been great in its hey day. Favourite point for location
Thanks for placing this cache High Rollers.

Almost a drive by if you are on the right road. And lo and behold we were only a just over the oval from last nights event. This sure is a compact town. I noticed this cache was placed in 2006, must have been one of the first ones around here.

After a scheduled stop to do a cache in St Arnaud turned into a longer non-scheduled stop due to some caravan problems we decided we may as well take advantage of the situation and fill in some time while repairs were in progress at the nearby repairer. Not only were we able to discover the delights of this small and well equiped cache location but we were also able to meet some of the local geocachers and that was really great as we enjoyed being able to exchange stories and ideas. We found this cache after a short search and enjoyed having a look around the location.
Nice work thanks to High Rollers.

After riding all day with the Saints and Sinners bicycle tour group I thought a few extra Kms to your cache would be OK.
Discovered the nicely hidden container and signed the log before heading off for a shower and a rest.

On the way back from our meal at the sports club we walked past this location again. I could have saved a few Km earlier in the day.
The pool has an interesting history and the sport field looks good.
