Logs
This cache has survived 4 years without maintenance, but has finally succumbed either to environmental violence or muggle vandalism. RIP.
This cash is ruined. Container is in bits and the log book soaking wet. Replaced as protected as possible.
Took a bit of a hunt and eventually found the crushed bottle - needs replacing - log book soaked, wrote on a credit card receipt. Nice walk while in Caroline Bay with family.
Took a bit of a hunt. Moved a couple metres as either cache or clue had moved.replced upside down as its crushed with no lid.

Spent a bit of time looking but so did some muggles. Spotted a sus pile of rocks and leapt but found a bottle of wine not a cache. Fair exchange perhaps

Took a while to find this one.. The hint was useless and eventually after a search and widen radius we found the cache... Same condition as last finder...
Signed log but container destroyed and needs to be replaced soon. There was maintenance being done in the area which may have caused the damage.
TFTH Happy Cachin!!!

Took a mate out caching in the evening to teach them about caching. With a bit of looking we found it. Thanks.
Our only find of the evening and we nearly gave up on this one too, then at the last moment I found it.
Haven't walked along here for years, thanks for bringing me back here, took whistle, left zip back and bouncey ball, SL TFTC
Found this one after walking through the fantasic park near our motel. Weather was on the cool side. A great walk to and from the cache. Good co-ords as well. TNLN Thanks Perso for this one.
nice easy find even at night - almost got muggled by someone out looking for their lost dog tho TNLN TFTC
Not a very good day, but would be nice diving off that jetty on a good day. Met some new geocachers trying their second cache, good luck for your next caches. TFTC
couldn't see the hand today, cool place though, and rocked up their at the same time as another group looking for it, took us a few mins to find, as didnt take any instructions with us as we are locals.

Despite works on the parklands, it was a lovely find. It all made so much sense to the 3 young kids, they loved the handstand!! We didn't see a geocoin?
TNLN but loved the cache. Thanks!

Walked to this nice place from the Caroline Bay EarthCache. Took the geocoin (logging this on February 28). TFTC!

TFTC. Nice breezy day with large swells. Three surfers in water so we looked like spectators.
Well overdue for a logging session - will have to get better at logging! TFTC

A quick jog from the earthcache and the cache was in hand.Tftc, one of 38 on our trip up from dunedin
No problem finding the cache which is currently unaffected by the nearby construction work - some big pipes going in! TFTC
Quite a lot of construction activity new GZ but located cache OK. Thanks for the walk. TFTC
Cache is in the correct place. The earthworks have not affected it itself - but is IS a little more challenging to get to (Muddy)
I'm no longer in the area. Could someone who has found this cache before please check on it?
If I don't get confirmation that it's still there and in usable condition, I'll archive.

A short walk from the Light house to the hand. Today we could stand on the hand together with some seagulls, watching the sea. We decided to start our last geocion, the < RED HERRING, which came with us from Germany at this interesting "building".

Came here the night before but decided not to tackle it in the dark. Good decision. In daylight - a quick find. TFTC
Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1805 while out getting some much needed exercise after the drive up north TFTC
Nice walk to the cache site. A bit of a scramble past the obstacles, then a quick and easy find. TFTC
Even there were some repairs around we have discovered this cache safely (no people around). Caroline bay is interesting place. Regards from Czech Republic
This one was nice and handy. My motel was right next to the park. Had to get around the workers though. The log book is a bit damp.
Some excavation work made approaching GZ a challenge but the cache was soon found TFTC
Nice spot on a nice evening. Another cache spotted by my son. He was eagle eyed tonight! TFTC.
Got past the construction site for a simple find. Many thanks for the cache. Lovely spot - thank you.

#472 (6/6 Chch->Timaru). An easy find despite the construction activity. Very windswept today. TFTC.
The easterly was really making itself felt at this location, so was thankful the cache was quickly found. TFTC.
Nice and quiet evening, so easy to hop across and get this one.
TNLNSL TFTC!

We could not access this one due to barrier fences, railway lines, nasty signs and the ominous surveillence camera. Hopefully it will still be there when the renovations are completed and we can try again.
I wonder how much the fine is for crossing the railway line. Dropped in the key coin. TFTC.
Jumped the railway line, and found the cache on a lovely sunny afternoon - almost felt like going for a swim!! No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1211)
A nice wee spot for a cache. it took me a moment or too but got it in the end,, thanks
Heading back to Dunedin and also aiming to make my 200th find. Which I did, yay.

Out on a very pleasant, late afternoon stroll with Tufty in Caroline Bay. Easy find. Thanks for the cache.
BaldEd and I did this one on a walk before dinner to work up an appetite. Can understand why this cache is so named (couldn’t see the thumb though).
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
A nice evening stroll along the walkway. A few muggles around but none closeby as the cache was found. - Tb + a creature and a new plastic bag for the log. TFTC
Quick stop to find Cassidy's, and it really is! Very clever. Do muggles include inquisitive dogs, I wonder. TFTC.
