This cache hasn't been maintained for some time, but was until recently still being regularly found. It now seems to have finally disabled itself, and we're now living far too far away to re-establish it.
Is this cache still here? I was so sure I had it right but no luck. Will try next time I am down that way.

Had a quick look after “Birds of a feather”, didn’t try too hard… there seems to have been some major pruning in the vicinity of GZ…. Is it still there?

Nice quick find after having lunch at the nearby paddling pool and playground. Good spot! Cheers Gav [2705]
Wished the railway was operating today. Interesting work going on with the land reclaimation. It smelt really bad today - we wondered if they were spraying some kind of 'fertiliser' on the reclaimed area.

#197. StreetWalkerNZ, Troodles and Oma. Quick find, once we had worked out where to park!
Picked this one in the dark while all the young muggles were close by at the skateboarding park.. a nice easy find, thanks
Heading back to Dunedin and also aiming to make my 200th find. Which I did, yay.

Been here a million times!!!! Will be a challenge in the middle of the day. No TB
Nice quick find with Lord IV. Plenty of muggles around for Top Twins concert. No celebrity impersonator though . Just as fun nonetheless. TFTC
Nice easy find for kids considering the large amounts of muggles at this time of year!
Parked car right beside the cache while looking for another one, while driving out realized and had to go back since we were so close without knowing it!! Took gel pen and 20c coin, left monkey and smiley badge. Really nice place will be back here before summer ends!!
I did this one while heading off to watch the fireworks and then forgot to log it!!! Even with all the muggles around it was still easy to retrieve.

Reading the cache name we thought thst we were going to need to be wary of approaching trains, well these trains were the least of our worrys.
A nice easy find.

Second cache for the day...........nice quick find it the drizzle. GPS bang on. Using a Garmin 60CSx.
Dad's birthday and we have come to town to see the toy trains.
My teddy even got a ride on a G grade train.
Thanks for the cache.

65. No soccer today so we were in town to see a model train display. Thought we would give the boys a ride on a slightly bigger train but it was not running today, which in a way made the cache easier to find. Boys enjoyed the waterfull over by the steps especially when someone put bubble mixture in at the top.
Thanks for the cache. I liked your other one that I have found 'Diamonds are Forever' and so now I will look forward to finding 'Cassidy's Handstand'.
- 1/2 penny
+ 20 cent
I found it interesting comparing the two coins and seeing the simularities between them and the differences as well.

Found while surrounded by muggle gardeners pruning shrubs only meters away.
It appears that there has been alot of work in the area lately, hope the cache site isn't affected.
Took nothing left NZ half penny.

Good find in a lull of muggles. Good spot. You certainly know the tide is low and the mud is high, so to speak. T4TC. TNLN. Cheers. Nice walk for the dog.
lots of muggles around and work being done close by. cache a bit damp. T sharpener, L Aussie coin. tftc.
#29 and last one for the day. Arrived here about 8:30pm and had a nice easy walk with no one else about. GPSr spot on so a quick find and back to the motel for a well earned rest.
TNLN, many thanks.

Just on dusk, so no muggles about. Easy find thanks, they have improved this place since I last visited as a kid.
Easter Sunday. Glorious weather. Do you need three guesses to work out how busy this place was? Scouts still camped nearby too. Getting cache out of its hiding spot was easy but getting it back in was a nightmare! So many people around! Plastic bag has disintegrated. Didn't have a replacement with me unfortunately.
Quick and easy cache, hardest part was being nonchalant with all the muggels about!

A late-night find. Interesting characters down at the bay at night! Cache is still damp. TNLN, Thanks.
Quick find while Mrs GSV spent some relaxing time at the nearby TG Rose garden. Cache is damp and needs maintenance, certainly not a waterproof container.

Our 10th find for the day.
Busy day at the carnival, but ground zero was a quiet spot.
Took TB Tharg on a trip to the carnival. Will take him back to the city to achieve his objective.

A quick found as another busy day in the bay.Took alien so that I could fit in a geocoin.
I was down this way for a mates graduation celebration from police college, while down here I managed a couple of easy caches. We come down here nearly every New Year, the kids are a wee bit old for the train now but it's still fun to visit. TFTC

Nice and easy to find. Just took the baby for a walk and took the GPS as well. Very cramped bottle. Lovely day. Took nothing.
1:30pm. #7 on the Dn-Chch trip. On the road again after lunch, and a nice easy find to get going with. Had to wait for a bunch of kids to pass before replacing the cache.
A nice find on our way to Christchurch. I stopped to take photos of the sails pushed over by the weight of the snow still on there from the recent blizzard. Trekked through the snow (which was a novelty for me) and found the cache quicklt. TNLNSL Many thanks Perso.

1131. We had to come to Timaru for a lunchtime meeting so we set out to find this one before heading home. You could tell how much rain has fallen recently when the grass areas that are usually used as picnic grounds are now looking like miniature lakes. We hope the cache lasts in this spot once the summer comes - it will be trickly when there are muggles around but even though it was a lovely clear afternoon after a frost there weren't many people around so we found it quickly.
Thanks

Yay - -3rd of three Perso FTF's for the afternoon.
What better way to spend an hour or two on a drizzly Saturday afternoon?
TNLN.
No muggles around today - -I reckon these places are better to be found on rainy days, no muggles playing then.
LOL
