WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 62 - Swan Valley Perth Day 7. After two days of very wet weather, today was cool but clear and sunny. A fantastic day. I headed into the Perth Hills to tackle two more counties. Mundaring and Kalamunda. Parts of today's drive reminded me of where I grew up in the Adelaide hills. Not to mention a big road with lots of trucks. I took a little extra tri to do some Labs around the town of Mundaring before heading hoe to sit out in the sun doing my logging and planning. There was no one here today, so it was nice to have a quiet look around before looking for the cache. The cache was found exactly as described and the log was soon signed. Thanks for the cache parkacruz48061.3 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Geocaching License A#219**Albida**
I am ashamed I have never been here despite being WA born and bred. My grandfather also passed through here the to Beersheba and an eventual MC in WW1. Thanks for.bringing me here.
Out and about again, a hot day so a late afternoon and evening cache run was the order for the day.
We headed out to the back of Midland for a long walk to a hide and then some bushbashing to get an archived cache. Now it was dark, tried a handful of hides in suburbia.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

The log was a bit scrunched and damp! I tried to fold it a bit looser so it might dry out a bit. Great spot though, thank you!
Find 5 of 14 with 2 couldn't looks and 2 DNF on a beautiful autumn sunny afternoon.
Quick find. Left a TB I brought back from South Australia - next finder please make sure if you take it you log it.

Headed over to pick up some caches in the area today - and this was one that I stopped off at. Pretty sure that I have found this one previously but obviously must have forgotten to log it (there have been a few like that today, oops). Sunday is a good day to visit as the area was completely deserted Parked up as close to GZ as is possible then stepped over to the host to make a very fast find. No problems here today, and making sure this time I log the find! TFTC
After doing a few hours of work at Midland Station for train replacement, it was time to enjoy the rest of the day off to myself. I did so by going caching in the Midland area.
Nice quick find. Snuck in and out just as the cars started to arrive for the end of school rush! Cheers parkacruz!

With not too much caching done by us recently we decided to rectify that and made plans to head north and cache our way towards the Swan Valley area. We left home nice and early and collected this cache along the way. Cheers and TFTC.

I use to live close by as a little girl we left when I was 6 going 7. At that stage this use to be bush with a memorial amongst it. I'm sure the arch memorial was different, because I use the spend time trying to climb it. Thanks for bringing me back here Gekko 1. Checked on the house which we use to live in, its been demolished and a new one built .
So many places to hide so headed back to the geocar with a dnf just going to log it, then Bindi told me to read it again DOHHH thanks for this cache Giving it a fav for the fun it gave us
