When I get a chance, I'll check and probably replace. Is a highly used area, so will re think.
My second visit to this location, and my second DNF. Last time there were three of us looking; this time there were four experienced geocachers looking, two if whom have found it previously. We spent about 10 minutes looking in the few places that it could be hidden. We came away cacheless, and reeking of rosemary. For some reason, we had an overwhelming desire for a roast lamb dinner! If the cache is there, it's too well hidden for my meagre talents. I suspect it might have been found by someone searching the bushes for bottles and cans.
We came smelling of BO we searched and left smelling like rosmary, where's the lamb to go with it. We did not find the cache. Thanks anyway.
Looked around extensively for this one, but couldn't come up with the goods.
After that, sat down for some morning lunch and searched some more.
An interesting place to visit, but the locals seem to know it.
Judging by the number of bottles and rubbish around; and the fact no-one has logged this since August, I have to wonder if it has been muggled again[?].
Still, thanks for bringing me here snowone.

We couldn't find it. Some of the bushes look like they have been trimmed. or removed along the fence line or we were looking in the wrong spot.

Clear but cool afternoon. Muggles were distracted by eating their own lunch as I opened up the "lunch box" and logged in. TNLN TFTC.
Returned after a muggle-thwarted attempt earlier in the day. This time the park was empty. Thanks for the cache snowone.

Muggles playing footy, we removed to the local chippie for hot chips, we went back to sit and eat, then when the muggles kick went astray and they were looking the other way HWML1 went in for the grab.

A nice bit of history here and a top spot for a cache of this size to reside. The cache took a bit of getting to but was eventually grabbed and logged. TNLN thanks snowone.
Finally found this one on a rather quiet Saturday. Nice area pity you cant get up the tower though. Lots of duboius rubbish in the bushes.

Finally got his one of my to-do list. Although it took some logic (or good luck) as my co-ords were more than 10m out. Anyone else had this trouble? Cheers Snowone for the cache. TNLN
Great little bit of history to view and a great view to boot
Early morning with the sun just about to rise so few people around. I did have to wait a couple of minutes whilst the local can and bottle collector finshed poking through the bushes looking for 5cent treasure
Probably explains many Adelaide mugglings me thinks...
Anyhow the cache was found safe and damp. Log book is dry though

We had to play tourist for awhile due to the locals and ever increasing number of muggles making there way to the water. Twisties went in for the quick extraction. Signed the log and then replaced ever so quickly.

Mother's day out on Mother's day, so Mother and I went caching it up (much to Father's disgust). A nice cache in a beautiful spot, but had to deploy the human shield technique as we were too short on time to wait for the muggles with icecreams to leave.
We must have come after chameleon as there wasn't any water in the cache, but it was still damp. TNLN. We saw another "caching car" parked nearby with sunscreens publicising travel bugs- was that chameleon???? TFTC
Easy find in the new hiding spot! Great, 'cos I had trouble with the last one!![B)]
Cache was wet inside, log book was okay, but some of the swag needs to be replaced. Sorry I wasn't able to help, was out on a spur of the moment grab so had no tools/swaps. Cleared out water and dried cache as much as possible.

TFTH - Lots of people enjoying the local attractions today.

What a gorgeous spot! Just as we turned up, some muggles moved in to eat their lunches! Spotting the cache out of the corner of my eye, had to do some scuttling to avoid the muggles seeing me, but managed to find, log and return relatively quickly. Nice hide! Thanks!
G'day to Snowone,
Our 1st Snowone cache was found at 4:00pm as without the aid of as GPSr. We were having a day out with Mum and so the GPSr was left back at home so as not to be tempted into any caching throughout the day. After a Port River Cruise earlier we had swung past Semaphore (ironically stopping at the ice-cream parlour which was us beknownst to us mentioned on the cache page) and I had spied the tower. The geocaching instinct took over and I had to go up for a quick look. Sure enough, there was a cache in the third place I checked. Thanks for the cache and our 13th "Leap of Faith" Cache. (A cache found with little to no prior knowledge of the caches location and found without the aid of a GPSr)
Kind Regards,
D,H,K,H & A B-A

Really like the spot, so I'll keep going with this one. Might have to rethink it though
This should have been number ninety-five on our "Big Adelaide Assault" in company with dak's Emu Mob and HawMorFords. We failed to find the cache, I did however find a pencil and a cloth badge that looked like it could have come from the cache, I also found half a skateboard and a bike seat. This was a great location. Thanks any way.
Signal Tower was #98 on the list for the "Big Day Out" in Adelaide in company with dak's Emu Mob and acts2youthgroup.
There's rarely an upside of logging a DNF but on this occasion, this was to be our 10th and last DNF of the day.
We managed 43 finds straight from here till midnight!

This was to be the ninety-eighth cache on "The Big Adelaide Assault" in company with acts2youthgroup and HawMorFords. Unfortunately, we couldn't find it. We rang a local cacher who had found it, and he confirmed that we were looking in the right place. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If it's there, it's too well hidden for our meagre talents.
Fortunately, this was to be the last of ten DNFs for the day.

Last cache before going home to Tassie.
Wandered around for about 15mins, as the loc kept shifting.
Muggle on bench caused a bit of grief.
T snoopy L 2 figurines, as the cache is looking a little bare.

I am glad that we found version three of this cache. A local muggle who came outside for a smoke just ignored us, she was too busy on her mobile to notice us. TNLN

The day we left the big metropolis has arrived, or should I say arrived. (past tense) seeing its a few days later now. We have one of these types of towers in Melbourne too. A reasonably easy find and no swaps.
Thanks.

A nice area with a great timeball tower. Lots of muggles having breakfast not far away, but none at GZ.

Found easily. Went with SBI and sabikeboy. Found with lid off and contents scattered. Notebook was missing.Put contents back in. Notebook needs to be replaced, put log on a piece of paper in the cache.
Found it, but it has been trashed, with most of the contents, including the log book gone. Didn't have a spare book with us tonight, so can the next person to visit please replace it? Thanks
The GPSr was right on the mark but 2 muggle kids didn't make this easy. Eventually I got a couple of minutes to myself and the cache was quickly retrived and returned.

GPS was dodgy and the garden had been heavily pruned, so nearly gave up as a lost cache. A second look and claimed the cache - so easy to see when seen! (must be a Snowone trait?). TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache
DR.E and Tricky did this one after spending some time in the office. Some muggles around but out of direct sight. TNLN TFTC.

Last one for the day, the muggle factor was considerably less today and found after a bit of a search. Took a shower scrub and left a bouncy ball and a car. Thanks snowone.
5:06 pm - Disappointment, for this cache, so I topped it up with a new log book, and some new goodies, GC INFO SHEET and a change of container to keep it hidden from muggles.
I'll return the red bucket to snowone shortly, my cachemate logs showed TB's in here, hopefully they escaped before the muggles arrived.
Cheers from The Barramundi's

Way too many muggles sitting nearby this afternoon to even try and have a look. Another visit! Thanks snowone.
Mugglers everywhere but I managed to find it. According to my GPSr I was sitting on the cache (0 m) when I was sitting on the bench but obviously I didn't....
The cache has probably been muggled since there were no log book and very few things in it. It would probably be better to have a smaller container without a red lid

Sorry for late log; a calamity of errors made it impossible to log this one till now, including a lost TB! (which is now found and stowed in another cache)
Easy find by my 2-year old. Pity my same 2-year old couldnt re-find the bus travel bug a few days later when it got home in the same time he found the cache in the first place.
Nevertheless the TB is safe and is back on its journey.

Found after work this morning. Would be a great view from here, but I can hardly see my car (6.4m away) due to the fog! A great location. And I can claim this one in the 'Fleet to Federation' game as a 'driveby' since it is less than 10m away!
I didn't see the TB's, but that doesn't mean they are not there, I was shivering and in a hurry to get a ftf on the next cache!
TNLNSL as wasn't intending to be working down Port Adelaide way last night, so no swaps with me!

Just as we located the cache, an old man came up the stairs and wandered around for a while. He then sat on the bench facing out to sea and read a paper. It was all a bit suspicious though as Kerry & I are convinced he had the paper upside down. He left a very short time later.

An interesting bit of infrastructure and history. As others have noted, the red lid gave it away and I’m surprised that it has lasted here. Took an emergency cache kit and left an emergency resuscitation mask. Thanks ‘snowone.

An interesting artefact from yesteryear, and preserved for us to marvel at today. The trouble people had to go through to do simple things we take for granted today. Found the container after a little snooping about, and surprised to see such a bright object hidden in such a public place. Then again, we thought the same at "Smelters Picnic". Yay for the snowman!!! Took a flower charm, left a turtle. Picked up TB Cruisin Harry. Thanks Snowone.
Found by Mary & David at 1620. Lovely sunshine, and we enjoyed the history and the views. The ice cream parlour was closed, so that saved us some calories. Took Xmas tree, left bottle opener. Also left TB Cruisin Harry. Our thanks to snowone.

Bronze. Appropriate as these structures are often made of this metal. Sometimes they are red and made of wood. Mmmm – similar in colour to the lid around here. Interestingly, these “Time Ball†structures normally dropped their ball at 1pm. Why 1pm? Obvious as astronomers wanted to do their noon observations 1 hour earlier.
Swapped something in the dark.
