Good grief I cant believe I walked right past it. Found it though. Beautiful spot. Bit windy today though.
We are always on a hunt for some treasure exchanges, so the little ones have fun too. Thanks
After dinner with Gliss, Nibletricecakes and friends, we said goodnight. With sacada, we went out to enjoy the nice evening, moon rising for added light, coastal waves, beaches and granite rocks. The lighthouse became our own beacon as we walked the circuit about it.Staying 2 nights in the Lincoln National Park set us up well for a good day of caching and exploring the area. Some enquiries the day before had us driving into Port Lincoln to collect the key into the locked world heritage area of the park. It's great to have access to this, and was a great day with only a couple of others seen all day. The weather was perfect with blue skies and sunshine. The scenery stunning, great beaches, headlands and a turquoise water. Many of the caches unfound for long periods and due for a found. One had almost 3 years of unlove and many DNFs, a great find to confirm it was still there. Enjoyed watching whales splash gentle by the cliffs from above, with their loud airblows and another stunning sunset to end the day. Although we did cache on in the dark on the way back to camp well after it. For a detour to meet friends the evening before, a great choice to experience this area. Thanks for your cache.
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor with a stop at Maralinga.TFTC. Was at Ceduna with Aquilus1 on the way to Coober Pedy when invited to dinner at Lincoln National Park at the bottom of Eyre Peninsula by a group of Canberra geocachers including Gliss & nibletricecakes.Camped a couple of nights and totally enjoyed caching through the most of the park including getting the Memory Cove key.Found a few unloved DNFs, lots of emus, whales, snakes wriggling out of caches and looking through caves.Well worth it.Late night walk along the rocks to finally make it to this spot. Bet it looks great in the day light.
We are travelling with Pprass and have now set up at Lincoln NP for a couple of days. So much to see and do here and the weather has been sunny and conducive to getting out and about. Today the fellas headed around the other side of the park collecting some caches. Thanks for the tour around the area Skippy.
Thanks to the owner Skippy and Miniskip for this cache. warm regards from Switzerland.
Out with race ya. We've had a swim. Hole in lid. Left paper in plastic egg for others to sign. Tftc
The cap is partially broken and the log is a bit wet. Might need replacing. Wonderful location, we saw some dolphins and a seal nearby
From 16 December 2023 to 19 December 2023, I and J plus the little one visited Coffin Bay National Park and Lincoln National Park, together with countless cities and towns on the way. We also found over 40 caches during the trip, including traditional cache, mystery cache, multi cache, virtual cache, EarthCache, and Adventure Lab cache.17 December 2023, Day 2, we found 14 caches. This was our 13th find for the day, also 22nd cache we found for the whole trip.We stayed 2 nights in Lincoln National Park, and the campground is not far from this cache. We enjoyied the view there. I found the cache easily. Signed the log book. Thanks for the cache, Skippy& Miniskip.PS: I took a photo there. See attachment.----**South Australia will host a Leap Day Mega Event on 29th February 2024. GCA1DNA: The Great Leap Forward. Count down: 73 days.**
Windswept hide by lighthouse. Nice quick hike up from the nearby beach where we had a wet landing on a shore adventure from the Coral Expeditions Geographer vessel. Log somewhat damp, but managed to sign. TFTC.
Finally, the first dolphins and sealions! And a cache!! TFTC!! Lid is brocken, logbook deterioating;-)
Another beautiful beach to look at, we really will have to come back here. Cache lid is damages so will need a maintenance trip. TFTC
Staying in Port Lincoln for a few days, checking out what the town has to offer. Today we spent all day touring around the Lincoln National Park. This cache is one that was found on the way past today.

Vic school holidays so kids and I are road tripping to explore the Eyre Peninsula. Stunning views - I love the ocean. Thanks for the fun and adventure!
Wild and windy today! The rain is coming in, so a quick park and find for us. Cache wasn’t hidden too well, so readjusted. Cache and contents in good order. TFTC.
In a blue lidded container now, pencil and log needs replacing! Left a little rock memento, TFTC
A beautiful spot. Got to watch several of the sailboats pass by on the annual Adelaide to Port Lincoln Yacht Race. TFTC
The view is stunning! Lid is broken, wet inside. CO may want to replace the container?
Almost forgot to get this one after visiting Lighthouse. Easy find right on the point looking out at the island. Container needs maintenance log paper soggy
Out exploring the trail and sights. Finally in Port Lincoln with time ahead to stop in this lovely well kept historic town. Day 17 in SA after numerous trips were sabotaged due to you know what and its a fab day. The Ikera- Flinders Ranges, Whyalla, Port Lincoln and a few in between caches are high on the list along with several other random caches so hoping to tick all boxes before heading back to home base. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game.
Out traveling with our 4WD group through NSW, Vic, SA, NT and QLD. Another great spot!

Loads of birds having a feed here looking out towards the island. Maybe we will see seals and dolphins too! TFTC
Hanging out in PL Nat Park today and managed to find a few caches.
Not super warm but a nice cache to find.
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!
Skippy., I found Donny's Place today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

One good thing that has come out of the Covid situation, is the need to holiday in your home state. With a week or so to spend away, we decided to head to Port Lincoln - a place we had not visited before. Our first day in the area was spent exploring Lincoln National Park, and what better way to find all the interesting spots, than to find the caches which had been hidden.
Nice to find such an old cache. Thanks for showing us many interesting places.

Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
Off to the west coast for a Holiday. [^] Holiday Sal Style that is. We are sightseeing - if there happens to be a cache there - great - get it. Luckily caches are in really interesting spots anyway.
Day 8: Port Lincoln - Day trip to Lincoln National Park.
A quick find down at Donny's Place. Couple of trawlers offshore today.
***Thanks Skippy. for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Beautiful spot to watch the waves crash over the rocks. Found the cache but there was no paper/log inside so I've place a piece in the cache, signed and placed back. Bring your own pencil/pen. The cache is not stormwater pipe as the hint say however there is room to leave trickets/goodies. TFTC!
Nice place Donny
Away doing a lap of Australia with my family, we started in January and already have been to Tassy, seen the eastern side of SA, up through the Flinders Ranges into middle of Australia and in to the NT to visit Alice, Kings Canyon and Uluru again. Making our way back form through Cooper Pedy where we found some opal now heading down and along the Eyre peninsula. Sorry for the generic log, I seem to get myself behind and muddled if I don’t do it this way.
Thanks for supplying us with a cache to do on the way TFTC

Today we explored some of the Port Lincoln National park, driving around, walking on many different tracks, sightseeing at the beaches and surrounds and finding many different caches along the way. What an awesome day we had and such fantastic weather as well. We also were happy to inadvertently find 4 FTFs as well for the day. TFTC
My sister and I found it together. Great spot, saw some boats on the ocean while finding it,. Thanks!
Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Made to South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
After making my way west along the Eyre Hwy I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie and finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
So after leaving Coffin Bay my next destination is Port Lincoln which is down the bottom of Eyre Peninsular off the Flinders Hwy.
I’m hoping for better weather soon I don’t mind it being cool just not rain showers when you are out and about.
So I set the van up at Surfleet Campground that is in Lincoln National Park yesterday and today is a new day so it was time to explore the North east area of the park and the weather is finally looking good.
So after an enjoyable day and beautiful weather it has changed overnight so very overcast and a howling wind.
Headed up to Donington Point along the dirt to eventually make the point.
A beautiful part of the word along here and the coastline and beaches are spectacular the water is so blue and the sand so white.
Finally made it to the point and the coast line and beaches are magnificent more people should come out here and enjoy this natural beauty.
Took the pics of the light house which is not that nice being a concrete construction but everything else is beautiful.
Walked down to this one and I soon located this one and added my name to the log and on to the next one.
Thanks Skippy& Miniskip TFTC.
