This case he has drifted a long way from it was original hiding spot and now the council is about to turn this into a construction site for a rest spot. The cache has been retrieved.
I was heading up this way for another reason and got close to where I needed to be, only to meet 2 muggles coming down the hill. I asked them if I was close to the top, they said I was nearly there so kept going. I then realised this cache was here to be found.
Making it to the top, my phone kept showing me I had to go further... Oh no, down there.....
I got down there, after finding nothing decided to take a look at some previous logs. Ah, it isn't down there at all. Made my way back up, and found what I was looking for. I had pretty much walked right past it.
Thanks mloe for bringing me to this amazing place, the views are spectacular!
All is good with the cache.

It's not much of a secret that I like an older geocache hide. And this geocache is a bit more old than just 'older'. I've always had reason to travel around a bit more to the south or even east somewhat, but never really anywhere near here. But over the years I have pondered this geocache a lot. Others have spoken about it and I knew it'd be an alright walk. But, despite looking at it on the map, I've never looked for it.
Recently though, I got niggled just enough by a mate to look for some of the oldest 500 active hides in the state. This is one of them. And there's a few others on the Northside that I can clean up. What more excuse does a lad need to go for a drive and a few little walks?
So, I grabbed a muggle friend on the promise of some hikes and no bushfire risk and headed north. This was to be our third stop for the day, and I expected, the biggest walk. I had sniffed out good parking before reading the hint, but see we both had the same idea. A duststorm yesterday means it is astoundingly dry out, but thankfully not too hot. I downed a load of water before we set off.
Naturally, I have been here before. I remembered as we began walking. And I clearly never continued on to get this geocache. As the path headed up the hill, I can somewhat understand why. It was dry and warm, and the track was nothing but dust. At least, we were the only critters out on such a day.
A few stops were required to catch some extra oxygen and we were both offended when the dirt track became a bitumen road. Did I mis-navigate in an awful way? Onwards we trekked. I was thankful I'd found some updated co-ordinates since this geocache got muggled and moved which lead me right to a likely area.
Later I'd google the reference, but I still don't get it. But it reminds me of a joke. I followed my phone to the GZ and made a quick find as it was out in the open a few metres away from the co-ordinates. That logbook has seen some adventure for sure! I replaced the geocache in a logical spot, out of sight, where previous co-ordinates pointed me.
We then sat on a rock for a rest and to enjoy the serenity before embarking on the return and very downwards-sloping walk. But we had done it, and I've found this old geocache near home, finally. This makes me happy. Thanks for hiding it and keeping it going so long Mloe and totalube

Gee I loved this spot! In the rain it just looked magical today. We found the replacement baggie and inserted a dry logbook....we did climb around the pinnacle rock and just enjoyed the exploration. No one lost their footing but gee we were glad to have continued on to this one, the mist was everywhere and we could still peak out at the view. Tftc
Found the replacement cache with original wet log. Put the little paper that was dry in a new ziplock but unfortunately didn’t have a spare log with us. Quietly happy not to have to scale the escarpment with the geokids to find this one.
Pack training for an NZ trip, I lugged the jolly thing up here with a mate. Thank goodness the temperature has cooled right down this week!
Enjoyed (mostly ) the walk, and got to the end of the track... right... now comes the hard bit- oh wait, there it is.
I confusedly read through the logs and then it made sense.
The cache is still where TheRangerRik re-hid the logbook after the great muggle attack of '16.
Nice to get up here today! Now... off to see a man about some mangos.

I'm sure this cache is in good condition, no burn marks near here, but with the winds being very strong, I didn't risk scrambling down to take a look.
This was my main target for the day as it was the final one needed for me to be able to sign the logbook for the Elementary Challenge with having found caches for all the 118 currently known elements.
Every month a group of misplaced cachers gather to discuss all things geocaching. In their blurb is something about sharing stories of caches that nearly killed you. In its original location, this cache had lots of potential for making a contribution to that conversation.
Peter said Lord, and I too said something similar when I had a look at where we needed to go. I also said (!) and "Oh my! thats a long way down!" or words to that effect. Being a previous finder, Mrs RoddyC said she would stay where she was and mind our bags while we went to find it.
Snickersallan and I set off, she like an agile mountain goat, and I much more cautiously, both of us hoping the angels were watching over us. We arrived at where we thought the cache would be but our phones were still saying a fair way away.
When we looked at our options, Snickersallan said we could be here a long time looking for this one, as on a lower level we could see the multiple options for GZ. Thankfully salvation was at hand in the form of a message from above. It was more of a local call rather than long distance from heaven and made by Mrs RoddyC saying to come up as she had found the cache where she was!! We carefully made our way back up to see the miracle of a misplaced cache standing at Mrs RoddyCs feet. She had been about to park herself on a reasonably comfortable perch when something caught her eye. At first she thought it was the final for some puzzle so was excited by her find. Upon opening the container she realized it was what Snickersallan and I were risking our necks for down below. It was disappointing for her but very welcome for us so we said "hallelujah " and signed our names in the original logbook. What I think may have happened is that someone a little clumsy may have been standing holding the logbook and kicked the ammo can by accident and it went over the edge. It would have been an act of madness to try and retrieve it so they left the logbook and didn't say anything in their log..... or it could have just been muggled. It didn't matter much to Snickersallan and I how the log got to be where it was, we were just happy to have our names in the log and not still be down on the steep side of that hill where one wrong step could have been our last one. Phew!! Mission accomplished!

On a little mission today with Mrs RoddyC and echocage1 to find a few caches in the Keperra Bushland whilst the weather is very pleasant.
When we arrived nearest to an decent entry point to go down to find GZ, Mrs RoddyC as a previous finder decided to stay up top and look after our bags whilst we scrambled our way down to start our search of serveral likely hiding spots & we were told it was an ammo can we should by looking for. As we were just about to decend to a lower rock ledge to enable to get closer to GZ, my phone rang and we were asked to come back up as Mrs RoddyC had spotted something out the corner of her eye. Low and behold it was the original log book but in a new plastic container and over 35 mtrs from the original co-ords. Who knows how long echocage1 and myself would of been searching if it hadn't been found pretty much close to the top of the steep cliff and how did it get there? After reading previous logs, cache creepness seemed to have happened quite awhile ago.

Found it.
Not at geolocation. Log is destroyed. Photos attached.
We left our lunch box. So the cache is now large enough for toys. Someone needs to leave a notebook (we don't have one sorry).

Sunday. The Slow Punctures were out Keperra way today. Having ascended the hill for other caching reasons, as we were nearer than we were ever going to be, we thought "Why not?". So, on we pressed, until we were at near to GZ. Armed with some info from our friends we were with earlier on today's trip, we had an idea where to be looking as opposed to the published GZ. This was also confirmed by a recent log entry.
After Mr SP fumbled around blindly, Mrs SP found it quickly in a place where I had clearly not looked into sufficiently...
This was the 5th of 6 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Mloe***, for showing us this place.

thanks to ridgey pidge's log , bear0503 , sharpem and I were able to find the log book in zip llock bag .what a great view from up here. Its amazing the places you would never go if it wasn't for geocachers placing caches in such great places. Thankyou Mloe for placing this cache here for us to enjoy. Hope the log book survives until new container can protect it. Zip lock bag was hard to close up properly.
Found 13/05/2017 with Que Sera, SharpeM and muggle friend. Only just logging now as I am working through my saved Drafts. Thanks for the great cache. I just loved it
Found it with Quesera and Bear0503 thanks to Ridge Pidge's log hopefully it will get a new container soon, thanks for brining us to this lovely place
Wouldn't have found this one without reading ridgypidge's log. Container is nowhere to be seen but placed the logbook back as we found it. Cach is in desperate need of replacing. Tftc.
Just like previous cacher we found it way off proper co-ords. Thanks Ridgy Pidgy for the info. Trudged further on to this one after conquering the TARDIS. Nice spot and view, cache really needs reinstating or co-ords changing We too didnt have a spare container or bag big enough for a repair job. TFTC from the UK
And the Lord said, **"Peter!"**
And Peter replied, **"Yes Lord?"**
And the Lord said, **"Peter, I can see your house from up here!"**
Wow what a hill climb to get up to this one! I was wondering about the wisdom of trekking up that hill, as from the previous log there was just a logbook in a plastic bag 35 meters from ground zero! So I was pretty pleased when I got up here and found the logbook still here! In an obvious spot thank goodness. [^]
I'd actually brought a small sistema with me to put the logbook in as my good deed for the day, but I hadn't anticipated the logbook being bigger than my container! Definitely needs a larger container this one.
So I dutifully signed and dated the logbook and put it back into the plastic bag (bag not closing unfortunately). Then I put it back into hiding spot (under log, about 6 to 7 meters to right of yellow gate. You can't miss it), but as mentioned in previous log, this location is around 35 meters from actual ground zero.
Anyhow, while I'm up there I started thinking what if the ammo can is still at ground zero. Why I would think this after already signing the original logbook is anyone's guess [?]
So down the bank I trekked (now it's a T3.5!) but once I got to ground zero I couldn't find any ammo can. I saw a couple of likely hiding spots at 3 meters and six meters according to my GPSr, but definitely no ammo can found. So looks like someone souvenired the ammo can and left the original logbook behind [?]
So then I trekked back down the hill. I had **good intentions** of trekking over to the Forgotten Mangoes cache, but the hill had made me use all my water up, and I was worried about the weather turning nasty, as I could see rainclouds heading towards me. So back the the geomobile for me
Thanks for the cache Mloe, you need to find another ammo can for this one!

This one seemed to have been muggled. Spotted the logbook way off. No caontainer, just in a bag with zip not working.
Found the logbook about 35 m from GZ. Seems to have a muggle entry from 06/16. Left it as found. TFTC
No success today. My phone kept indicating I had to go beyond the large yellow gate marked "Private Property". It all felt really wrong so I will venture back here another day when I have company. Had a lovely walk though.
Found GZ, but before we did, we found the cache log book and contents strewn all over the place near the yellow gate. I'm sorry to say it's definitely been muggled. Had a good look around, but no sign of the container anywhere. I did sign the log because it was still there, and then put it in a ziplock bag and placed it under a log near the gate. Will post a picture in a separate entry. TF what's left of TC; the view was pretty awesome. Sorry I left everything else where it was, but caching today was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment decision and we had no plastic bags or anything with us
After finding a couple of time traveling caches nearby, we headed here to grab this one before having morning tea with a great view.
The Boulders here are arranged in a magical fashion, perfectly upended and sitting at almost impossible angles. Very serene.
After checking here and there, the cache was easily found.

This cache was found in good condition, and adds to our total of 2469 smilies. Thanks **Mloe** for showing us this spot. This log is trackable. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

Bit of a scramble down the hill when we found the right way but lovely views. Tftc
Looked over the wring side first so went back up and walked a little further. Ah ha! A get trail! Tftc
Last time Barb and I were in tis area it seemed we took some wrong turns. We thought this one had to be accessed from a different direction. If only we had known, now it's time to face that hill again .
Finally at cache and name is finally in the book.

I wasn't sure what to expect for this one. We made it up the huge hill and barbb said something to me that made the name of this cache suddenly make sense. We picked our way down the hill, not really sure where to look because there were so many hiding spots. Barbb thought she knew where the cache might be hiding and sure enough, there it was. Phew! Log signed it was time for the big walk back down the hill to civilisation. TFTC Mloe
didn't visit this one on our last trip here as fasted and I had heard access was via a different path
we now know better and were definitely not leaving without a find this time
so much fun climbing down to the cache

I was out for the day with NIkid1 & Lenore1972 & we had just found a cache nearby so had to walk a little bit further to find this one. We went over the edge & Nikid1 went one way & I went another & after a little scrambling we ended up close to each other but I came across the cache first. I love finding an ammo tin. The lid was a bit hard to open & took the combined strength of Nic & I but we got there in the end. Log signed & cache replaced as found.

Having walked up the hill to find some Dr Who themed caches we had to venture over to this one to check out the view.
Scrambled up down and over rocks to arrive at this nice sized cache. Great view!!
Took a badge and left binoculars (these might be good to stay here to assist in admiring the view).

A 10 year old cache, great views , great placement, thanks for the cache up here. Found with DoratheExplorer and Venn family, I am grateful that they asked me to come along to these caches as I would have never thought of venturing up this way at all
While waiting for Miss 12, Miss 7 and the geowife to rejoin us after returning to the car to dress Miss 12's wounds rom an earlier stack on the trails, Miss 10, the geoboy and I accompanied Dora the Explorer! and atsmug to find this cache.
When we got to the end of the trail, I told Miss 10 and the geoboy to wait there while we scrambled down the mountainside. The geoboy was not happy but it did not look safe especially as they both like to go like a bull at a gate.
Dora made a quick find and the log was signed.

Out with a few adventure seeking fellow cachers (RoddyC and THR) to find some ear-marked caches on their list, I was happy to tag along.
Now it is really dark and having found T.A.R.D.I.S. finally, we decided since we are up here we may as well go for this one too.
Not a long walk but still up-hill (222m elevation at the top by my GPS) we were happy for a bit of flat land. GPS sent us over towards the edge and I took the path leading down to who knows where (all by torchlight). Rock hopping like a mountain goat with Mrs RoddyC not far behind, I was starting to get a bit worried when we still had 10m to go and a big drop in front of me.
After gently slipping over a large rock ready to venture further, I looked down and low and behold, the cache. With a wipe of the brow and a small prayer, cache was opened and logbook signed. Back into its hide and we went back up the hill to where the others had decided to wait. THR informed us as we were on our way back, that he had caught Mr RoddyC from falling down onto the rocks which was fortunate since he had the car keys.
What a beautiful view it was at night with the lights of the TV towers and the streets twinkling at us and a cool breeze gently blowing. Would have been a different view in the daytime.

Today is a busy day: caches in Alexander Clark Park, the Event and cache at Stegosaurus, a few caches around Mount Coot-tha, and now the hills at Keperra Bushland! A three-hour walk, we reckon, starting and ending at Glengary Road and Cobalt Street entry.
Having visited a planet, met a Droid, bypassed some Mangos and located a missing TARDIS (all in the dark), we wouldn't bypass Kephas (Peter, the Rock).
And what rocks they were, scattered down the steep side of the terrain - in the darkness a few of us slipped and slid. I lost by balance on one rock, and fell onto THR's leg!
Further down the slope, the (braver?) ladies (Mrs RoddyC and Patrol14) had located the cache and completed the signing requirements.
Now we can go back and then on down to find a DALEK!
Found at 7.20pm on 9th April 2016. TFTC.

The Lord Said Peter, but 1MinnieMoo said (and didn't say) so much more. One of the hottest days this summer we had already planned our assault on Tardis as a must for today, and coming this far up, we had to complete the journey by making this grab too. We were very glad that we didn't have that much further to head up from the Tardis, however we were aware of the precariousness of this one and were unsure as to just what we might be facing at GZ. As we ventured closer we realised this may make our day go full circle, starting in a cemetery and potentially ending up the same way!
With 1MinnieMooJnr suffering from a dodgy knee atm and 1GiantPanda with a broken collarbone, I decided they needed to wait at a slightly safer spot for me while I navigated the more treacherous part of the journey. Oh please Lord, let me survive this, coz I'm not sure Peter is gonna want to let me through those pearly gates yet. Thankfully after overshooting just slightly and not liking where I was going I made just a little turn and found myself in the right spot rather quickly. Was nice to have a flat rock to sign the log on. And of course the kids wanted to make a couple of swaps, so we negotiated how to achieve that safely and were once again on our way back to the path, and back to the nice aircon of the car, with a quick cool down stop at the nearby servo for some hard-earned cool refreshment.
Thanks for the cache Mloe - we didn't need to see if Peter would let us through the gate today after all.

We walked the circuit in this bushland today and enjoyed finding some caches as we went.
This one required a nice bit of rock-hopping. When we got to GZ we started llooking in every nook and cranny then spied it nicely tucked into its spot. . All in good condition.
Signed log and replaced as found. Then we sat for a while and enjoyed the views.
Thanks for placing this cache Mloe.

Headed down from Toowoomba for the day with a few caches in this area as our goal. After finding a couple of others we decided to go for a walk and head for this one. After a short rock hop and about to go for one more I looked down and nearly jumped on the hide. Some sneaky great views from here. TFTC Mloe
Found with my mum mnance101, my sister pinkypie05, Jemillalucy and her daughter Milly. Great views! TFTC!
Out caching with Jemillalucy, my mum mnance101, my brother mazza151 and myself decided to do this cache. TFTC!
Out caching with my son mazza151, my daughter pinkypie05, Jemillalucy and her daughter. We had done a couple of previous puzzle caches up the hill so decided to continue on to this one. So glad we did so we could see the view. Grabbed one TB. TFTC!
A long walk up the hill but well worth it for the view. Great location. Fave from us. TFTC
Fantastic find really tough but got there in the end. Great day with friends
Having tackle the other caches, it was time I completed the smiles around here. Perfect day to walk up and up that hill with the Geodog! I few rest stops along the way, and I was able to appreciate the views. I soon felt like a mountain goat and the dog was easily able to traverse better than me! The GPS gave me 2mtrs out and I then started the hunt, a look down and I saw it tucked into the crevice. On my way out I got bitten by something on my finger, but that was nothing compared to finding a cache for the day! TFTC Mloe
Today Cassow11ry, mtill17 and I were heading down from the Sunny Coast to the Big Smoke for a milestone run. This was not any run of the mill milestone, though the BIG 500 's for mtill17!!!
It was all about mtill17 today and he had pick of the run and the caches that were going to be hunted. And, what a list he had put together for us today! This list included some of the best caches that Brisbane had to offer. I have to say that today was not only a milestone for mtill17 though also was a day of trumping what I thought used to be the best caches I have found.
After a nice brisk walk up the hill we were soon close to GZ. After a little mountain goating we were soon at GZ. BUT, geez what the wind blowing a chilly gale this morning. After a quick look over my favourite type of cache, we added out names to the log and headed back to the warmth of the sun!
Thanks for another 'cool' cache Mloe!

Find #433
Being invited along to a caching trip to celebrate Mtill17's 500th find with MinkosDes, I had no idea of which caches were going to be hunted besides for the 500th. So after arriving late (sorry.. I slept through my alarm) we headed off to the ghastly brisbane to find some caches.
After struggling up the hill from the ghastly temperatures and the wind seemingly blowing straight through me, we finally made it to the top and headed off GZ. Oh my gosh, it was SOOOOOO windy here today, with every step I took I felt like I was going to be blown away lol... Quickly hiding behind a large rock/boulder we made the find, me sending Mtill17 to retrieve the cache and we had the log signed.
Thanks for the views and the quick cache Mloe.. I think I would have enjoyed the view a bit more if it wasn't for the chilly winds..

I was approaching my #500 milestone so MinkosDes and Casow11ry decided to join me for a day in the 'big smoke' to find some preselected caches with TARDIS to be my milestone. Having now finished the day I can say it was an awesome adventure very much worthy of using for my milestone.
This was the last cache before my milestone. I was very excited for it to be an ammo tin! Made some swaps and replaced as found.

Found whilst cleaning up a few other caches in the area today. Beaut view from up here. TFTC TNLNSL
I was supposed to be racing this morning, but it had been cancelled because the trails were too wet in the Redlands.
So now I have to find something else to do. [|)] Hmmm I could start my geocaching road trip and go find a cache with at least 10 favourite points. This cache would also have qualified for the road trip, but I had done a puzzle cache nearby first.
This was not the easiest one to get to in bike shoes, but it was not too bad. I was very happy with a nice quick find here so that I did not have to walk over nay more rocks than necessary.
That did not stop me form climbing up the rock to look at the view though.

Glad I came from the top - was very concerned though that it was down the bottom. Great View!
Took dinasour and left flute.

Seeing as we were up here, it would be rude not to stop in and find this one. Teamnanabombana and myself bounded about the rocky ledges until finally I spied the cache. I climbed down to retrieve the cache, we signed the log and then replaced the cache as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache Mloe

So what next , I know lets find 1001, would not want to waste walk , do not think I will trek up this way again, happy to have smiley all good with cache TFTC
Almost gave up but as I climbed back up it caught my eye. So many places it could be. Felt like meat in a rock sandwich when I retrieved it TFTC very cool. Heaps of goodies. In great condition
Like Peppa, I let braver soles from our touring party do the dirty work. At least it gave me a chance to catch my breath.
Fantastic hide. No. 3 for Team Stealth of Peppa Blkthunder Rufus2fus Clanbeckett abeck58 and Stupert99'. Having a great day out and more eyes does make for much quicker finds. Thanks for the cache
I sent the younger and stronger down to find this while yelling "don't forget to put my name in the log!!!" Tftc.... left some American coin. ..
Pretty tricky with a 9yo in tow but a a real crack all the same. Left a batman trackable, first stop.
Dropped off Gotham Villain Harvey "Two Face" on the first stop of what is hoped to be a long and fruitful journey to Gotham City.
Wow- this was one had me sweating! I lived locally but have never been up these hills. Nice view and the largest cache I've had the pleasure of seeing (took me a while to pry it open). Thanks for keeping me fit
Today was to be the the day for milestones for both Rhyssa6 (400) and myself (500). I had put out a call for people to come with us. I initially had no response, but we had our minds set on the target!!!! When I got up this morning, I checked my messages and found one from IolantheK to say that she was now available and would love to come with us. As she had kindly shown me the ropes when I first started geocaching, I was stoked that she had made the time to come with us. When Rhyssa6 and I arrived at GZ, I was happy to see that not only was IolantheK was there, but Brother Colin was there too. Having found our milestone cache, we headed to this one. The walk along the top of the ridge was a nice change from the unending "up" to get there. The track ended at a gate with a "private Property sign on it. Whilst I was fishing in my pocket for my unreliable phone, Brother Colin said "This way". So we went "This way". Before long, we were scrambling over rocks, suing trees to hang on to. Next thing I know, Brother Colin is climbing a BIG rock and just sits at the top, like the king of the mountain!!!! Then we hear a story of how he likes to "sit" on top of caches! Hmmmm......how to get down there!!!! I found a way to scramble down and had to scramble a little more to actually be able to get my hands on this good sized cache. We signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot. Now to go back "up".
Out today with Selva Girls for each of us to reach a milestone - 500 caches for her and 400 for me. We had our route planned out to hit a specific cache for our milestone. We were lucky enough to be joined at the last minute by Brother Colin and IolantheK. Without their company we wouldn't have gotten some of the caches on our planned route. Being much more experienced than Selva Girls and I they also had lots of tips and tricks they told us along the way. They were also very patient with our much slower pace (we're nowhere near as fit as they are).
This was a very challenging cache to get to and not one we would have attempted without the constant encouragement of Brother Colin and IolantheK. It involved making our way down a steep hill and then scrambling around some rocks to finally get to the cache. Eventually after some very careful maneuvreing and judicious use of nearby trees for grabbing onto and letting ourselves down, we finally managed to get to the cache and sign the log. Then it was more careful climbing to get ourselves back to the top of the hill.
Very pleased to have done this one.

Amazing view thanks heaps for placing this cache.
The walk here wasn't the easiest for my heart but got there in the end.

I had found this one before with Hot Wheels Duo on the 4th August 2014, but for some reason never logged it. That day we were in the area for the Tardis and what do you know, I had to come back for a Dalek.
Logged it this time.
Thanks Mloe

What do a group of cache finders do after being part of the rainbow floatila? They climb a really big hill. And what's after the hill? More hill. This was a great walk which ended in a fabulous spot with a view worth stopping for . TFTC
The Rainbow Flotilla 2: Afternnon Crew (I can't take credit for that name, dahumbug coined it). Scatt's Madhouse, dahumbug and and I made the detour to find this one. The view would have been great if it weren't for the trees. TFTC
We finally found ourselves in this area searching for a few well known caches. It was a warm day, but we did not find the walk to the cache too difficult and after a short scramble at the end, we soon had the cache in our hands. With the log signed, we made our way back to the car, hoping we would make it before the approaching shower arrived. Thank you for having placed the cache Mloe.
What a great day out and about today with our friends Gullivers Travels54. The target was T.A.R.D.I.S and decided we had to do this cache while we were here and have a look at the views. Wow a bit slippery over these rocks in the rainy conditions, care was needed. Great location up here, nice hiding spot for the cache. Thanks for bringing us up here. Tftc

cache find #2200. We are here in the bushland today with Cantcacheus2014, and visiting Tardis and a few others caches. The light rain made our journey so much more pleasurable as the hot sun was not belting down on us, so getting wet wasn't an issue at all. It was Mr GT54 and MR CCU14 that went in for the find. Mrs GT54 and Mrs CCU14 stopped and admired what views there was with the mist and cloud around. The men found the cache and reported to us on their return what they had found. Thanks for taking us to this special place. TFTC
After scoring an early mark on the last working day of the year, I headed out this way in the heat of the day for a few little smilie prizes. A reasonable effort and up the hill I trundled and soon was at a most wonderful spot. I am a big fan of the rocky vistas, but resisted the urge to take a snooze. Great spot.
Thanks for placing this cache, Mloe. Found in good condition.

That one was fun!
It may well be that my phone is not really the best caching buddy in the world. That would be an actual caching buddy with keen eyes and a GPSr, but today I was only a stroll by myself through the Keperra Reserve.
My phone has a few classic little jokes it likes to make. Firstly it will be confident to within 3m that a cache is 12 kilometers away, but when you get close the cache is 0m away with a confidence of 17m... uhm thanks. The second one is it's determination to have me jump off a cliff. Without fail if there is a long drop not too far away the cache is just a bit past that, honest...
Well today it was remarkably accurate and told me to jump down that huge slope at the same time.
So after admiring the vista I started winding my way down and down. Just as I was having scary fun jumping about over rocks with views I spotted a suspect rock and on closer inspection I had the cache!
Thanks Mloe really enjoyed scrambling after this one.

Decided on a bit of caching this afternoon - our target was TARDIS, once that was done we headed over to grab this one! The cache was located quickly - log signed. What a spectacular place hidden away.
First find EVER!
And what a find!!
Take walks up Keperra Hill often with the dog so knew the area quite well.
Beautiful view from find. Partner needed to keep dog from following as terrain rough and uninviting from young exuberant dog who just wants to go exploring (just like I)
Will always have fond memories of this first find.

Continued the climb up to the top of the hill after grabbing a nearby cache. Initially I thought I would have to ignore a warning sign but the GPSr suddenly pointed away and all was good. Picked my way carefully down to GZ where the cache was easily found. Appreciated the great view of the surrounding areas after signing the cache. Tftc
