The wooden coverage is gone so we couldn't find the cache, but at least we put some garbage from the park in the bins.
The wooden coverage around the bin is gone so it's not possible to find the coordinates for the last step any longer.
Found some plastic bins and placed some rubbish in one but had no luck with finding the coords for GZ. I think something is missing.
I couldn't find the bin for the first leg. A lot of activity due to an upcoming triathlon so thought that was why I couldn't find it.
After reading other logs, apparently not.
After reading other logs, apparently not.
My GPS was loaded a month ago and did not know this location had been tampered with ;( all that is left are the bins. It did not stop me from picking up garbage. Thank you for a great location
Another "should have checked the logs" attempt. The structure has indeed been pulled out of the ground and removed so WP1 is now a dead end. I did try likely spots for GZ over a large area fitting the clue, but silly to even try.
We agree with the previous entry. This cache seems to be have been removed with the fencing which appears in the picture.

Looks like the parks people have demolished the bin surround - a couple of uprights left, but little else.
Visiting from California and picking up a few caches. I had a lovely 3 mile round trip walk in the rain for this cache this evening. The area is very clean considering the day after Australia Day. Thanks for the fun.
Tried to find this one on Australia Day but it appears the litter bin has been taken away. There were four plastic trash bins but no wooden structure and hence no clue for the final cache. My wife and I did throw away some trash though so we should get partial credit ; - ).
Found before attending the open air cinema, a good cache to walk around Mrs Macquarie's chair. TFTC
First Multi for the year The log is totally chockers. Thanks Philma for another great cache! SL TFTC
Nice hide. Lots of runners nearby. Did not notice any trash to dispose of in the area.
Found nice and easy 3pm, many muggles though! Left a foals badge and bus ticket. Relocating travel bug 3dam4wd/nztoy6. With help from the Frenchduke. Tftn
Nice easy multi in a great area. At GZ we had to wait a while for the muggles to pass before we could log.

Found WP1 fairly easily but the cache wasnt so keen to show itself. A combination of high muggle traffic and the possibility of it being muggled during the jam packed NYE festivities made it difficult to search. Eventually it showed up and it was good to see it was still there. Logged and placed it back in its hiding position.

Took a while to find because muggles kept passing by. It finally apeared safe and sound even though it was right after NYE.

Found WP1 with no problems and cleaned up a bit while looking for the WP2 information. I had taken a couple of muggle friends to introduce them to caching and we found the cache after a few minutes with no problems.
I also collected the Maitland TB and will continue its journey.

We dropped some rubbish here and left two coins from New Zealand in the box (the cache box not the rubbish bin!). Thanks for this short and nice multi.

Found this with lenicka.second and membsec on a tour of Sydney. We did the tour of Sydney then grabbed a few caches. TFTC Placed a tissue in the bin.
Found it together with omaster and membsec while quick sightseeing in Sydney. I wanted to see the Operahouse so we parked there and went for a short geocaching-walk. Found quickly and easily. TFTC
Found with omaster and lenicka.second as we head south for Christmas. A quick find. The log book is completely full!!

Working our way around the Gardens, we enjoyed the view of the Opera House as we searched for this one. Thanks.
Plenty of tourists nearby raking photos of the spectacular view; I added a few to my camera too. I like that the coordinate at wp1 is so clearly displayed. Another great vantage point at the final. Thanks for the cache Philma.
A nice little multi which we could complete today. Unfortunately they clean the park to good, so we found no rubbish except near the bin itself.

Nice little multi this that was enjoyable to get! Got muggled whilst making the grab as it was busy but thankfully they were cachers themselves!
No photo for rubbish, we had a look round for some but the park was very tidy!

We are really enjoying our week in Sydney and today we continued to be presented with perfect Sydney weather. We walked around from Circular Quay doing all the tourist stops and soon found ourselves at Mrs Macs chair surrounded by Chinese tourists! Very officious with their arrival, photographing and exit; each group replaced by a similar one moments later! We completed our photo duties, including being photographers for other visitors and as Mrs F was busy with photographing I wandered off to find the initial waypoint for this cache. This was achieved easily and I then tried to fulfill the litter pick-up request but found the area incredibly free of dropped litter!
We continued our walk and chose a path to suit the final location where we rested while I collected the cache for a satisfying find. The many many joggers made me feel lazy but the views and parklands were top notch.
Took the Geocoin and Travelbug to continue their journeys. No sign of fencing today.
Thanks Philma

Have found wp1 however appears final cache location is currently not able to get to as there is fencing around it. Looks like they are setting up for new years eve celebrations.

Quick find co-ords are spot on left a TB and a coin that wants to stay in Sydney TFTC there are no other trackables in the cache ......
Heya, our first DNF in Australia. We searched pretty long time but weren't able to discover the cache. Despite we put some litter in the bin. It's a pity.
If we have a possibility we'll try again. And use the second chance to observe the Cockatoos.

It is amazing, how much litter you find around. Even next to the bins...

Well there was sadly enough litter around lady MQs chair, so I picked up some of it to feed the litter bin. Cache container was easy to find and even on this crowded sunny sunday evening an undisturbed log was possible. Good choice of location!
Thanks for the Cache!

With JohanGbg on our second day in Sydney. Very nice park that I liked a lot. Thank you for this multicache and greetings from Sweden.
An interesting idea to encourage some CITO. We helped out a bit, and the cache itself was straightforward after that. Thanks.
We passed this multi on our way out of the botanical garden and couldn't resist. A lot of people have bad aim for trash cans, so there was plenty of litter to pick up at WP1, and it is now in the litter bin. The final was a quick find in a logical place. Thanks for the extra cache in the garden!
What a nice idea!
Dropped off some litter that I found, got the coords among hordes of tourists, then went to get the cache in a pretty and deserted spot.
Thanks.

Great idea for a cache! I was impressed how clean the place was near the bin, so I had to go further to pick up some bit of aluminium. The coordinates were quickly found at wp1 as well as the cache at wp2.

Had to take my time with first stage as the area was covered with hundreds of school kids. Relatively quick multi. Thanks for the fun. And I was sure to put my trash in the approriate container.
In Sydney for work. Hey, that's an opportunity to go a caching... A nice fun find at dusk. TFTC.
Found 1st half a couple of days ago with AzTraveler. came back today for 2nd half. There was only one TB (little boat) and left it due to not being able to contribute to it's goal. But we did activate and leave "SunsetTraveler" personal geocoin. Also doing a virtual in/out for a couple of other TBs.
Was only watching one side of muggles at the first WP so might have accidentally got in somebodys wedding photos. oops! easy find after that though. Took TB
A beautiful location! Took us a while to find the coordinates but then the cache was quickly found! Tftc
Ufff... First we searched the wrong thing... But W-Nuss found fortunately the new coordinates and so was the box in our hands short after. TFTC

Had a little trouble trying to plot the co-ordinates, as we have a new GPS. So we went for a cooldrink stop, to figure it out. Eventually managed to get some directions out of the GPS (way easier than my old one - when you know how). Lovely harbour views, lots of muggle tourists about. However at the cache site there was not a muggle in sight, except for about 1m from the cache site. Had to wait for ages for her to move on. But was rewarded. Dropped off the Little Yellow Ship TB and collected a cool pirates geocoin. Thanks for a great cache .
Found it quickly, despite large groups of muggles hanging out nearby.
Very nice views from this side of the park!
Thanks for taking me here.

Our 2nd cache in Australia! Visiting from California, USA for 2 weeks. We only arrived this morning and new this cache had to be found while we were here. Excellent location, exchanged a couple of TBs and really enjoyed the area. The log is full - otherwise the cache is in great shape. This is number 601 for us. Thanks for the fun!

After a great day was spent having lunch in the Botanic Gardens and a spot of caching around Sydney with the family, we walked over to Mrs Mac's chair...and then decided to grab this one on the return to the car. Had a little trouble finding the numbers at WP1 due largely to so many muggles around today...and that every second one of them stopped by to deposit their litter (which was great for the environment...but not for a cacher!), but eventually found what I was after. A short stroll...and I was soon at GZ...and then had to wait for the coast to be clear before making the retrieval. This is a lovely spot here...all the more enjoyable to keep clean!
Gratias Philma.

#533 After the trip to Cockatoo Island, we went on a stroll on the Botanic Gardens. It was such a nice day today. I troubled myself in having to crouch lower than I should have in trying to retrieve the coords from WP1. There were a couple of airplane boarding passes near the litter bin that I had to pick up and throw away properly. I couldn't blame the folks who quite "missed" the bin, as it is overflowing with trash! Logbook is full. I still found some space to still sign my name on it albeit after some time on May 2012. TFTC!
Found by my hunting partner GeoJoao. Got a bit muddy and wet reaching in for it! TFTC

1/08/12 11:00 AM. Cache #26; 3rd Multi. Argh. Found the coords easy enough but then the iPhone had me searching for the cache about 10m off. Persistence paid off and there it was. All the TBs are gone though (sigh)...I was hoping to take one to Waltzing Flashmob tonight. TFTC!
This is our first time in Australia and we are having a wonderful time checking out Sydney. After taking lots of pictures of the opera house, we headed on to visit the gardens...beautiful! On our way to find the first part of this cache, we looked for some litter, but didn't find any...this cache request must be working. We finally located the new set of coordinates and then headed off to look for the cache...took the Danish Flag TC, left a frog and SL. Thankz for the cache!
Took us a while to find the first waypoint! Then not so long to find the cache. A nice spot, TFTC
Beautiful place, lots of Chinese tourists today! Off to the botanical gardens. TFTC
It was cold, it was dark and it was raining. And even worse: I just could not find that box. After deciding to go home for the second time and turning around again to go search for a third time I just kicking stuff around pretty annoyed. But then: THERE IT WAS!! YAY

1345hrs. Took us too long to find the waypoint but the walk to the cache was quick. The rubbish bin area looks nothing like the photo now. Plenty of 35mm film containers around if anyone needs some for caches. Would want gloves to pickup the rubbish around the bins but through ours in anyway. We enjoyed our walk around the city today. Found it as the sun was going down (forgot that with Aussie winter the sun sets at 5:30). Had to use my GPS screen gloe to read WP 1. Found the cache with mimal effort and switched TBs. Also left a pathtag. TFTH..
Delivered litter to all three bins. Found red back spider under cross beam
Of one of them. Located cache easily enough but not before had to return to feed the greedy meters and dodge the ranger. Enjoyed doing the three caches on the peninsular. Took compulsory tourist photo and ate the compulsory tourist ice cream. Glorious Saturday lunch time. Swapped tigger TB. Trying to get to Perth. Must be a tourist here heading in that direction soon.

No problems finding WP1, as this wasn't my first Philma cache! I am always irritated by people leaving their litter within a meter from a bin, so I bend over and grabbed a few quick thing to put in the bin.
GZ was spot on and no problem either after a nice stroll through Domain.
Thanks for the cache,

I am not sure why I have not done this cache before but today was perfect as I had just visited the earthcache nearby and I had some of the paperwork from that exercise to dispose of.
The numbers were soon found and soon the bulk of the crowds were behind me as I found easily the biggest of the 13 caches that I found on foot today in and around the harbour and city.
Thanks Philma

This was another pleasant stop on my lunchtime jog. I had been around the point, always a highlight of the run, then headed back up the hill. I have run past this point on a few races, so it was good not to be pressured and to be able to enjoy the view. There was a burst balloon on the ground, so I threw it away (tick!) before searching for WP1. I then continued on to GZ, thankfully in the direction I wanted to run, where I managed to find the container in between the frequent muggle interruptions. TNLNSL TFTC
Visited this cache on my last full day in Australia, for the purpose of dropping off a geocoin that it turned out didn't want to leave the country. It was a rainy damp day, but when I came out of the Australian Museum at closing time the rain had stopped and I took the opportunity to go into the domain and find the cache. Dropped off a piece of litter and a piece of recycling, found the waypoint, visited the nearby Earthcache at Mrs Macquarie's Chair, then picked up the final and dropped off the coin on my way back out. Thanks for the cache.

Can some one check if our Australia geocoin is still in the cache. We released it here and we saw three cachers have found it after us, but our geocoin is still inside? Seems to un unlogic as the container was really small. We hope it did not disappeared, because this was it first cache.

A nice straightforward multi. Very enjoyable with great views. Deposited a piece of litter at WP1. SL TFTC
A fairly straightforward multi-stage cache. The GPS reception is a little spotty at the final cache location, but the description was very helpful. Nice spot for a cache. We were there right at sunset, so muggles weren't too much of an issue. Left a Geocoin that started in Germany, then visited the U.S.
After enjoying the view for a bit and then some marvelling at the masses of people vainly attempting to take photos of their loved ones in front of the bridge - in front of a setting sun!, I put some litter in the bin, founds some coordinates and then found a cache. Nice!! TFTC!!
