We have a light weight 4x2 chasing orchids in this extremely large partof WA. Found some orchids after a 5Km trek from bitumen which was pleasing and worthy of trek in and again out..Great hide. There is a sistema with a piece of paper with some logs. However, there is also a new small notebook containing logs. How amazing, there are logs prior to us today with this date (we are solo and have NO relationship with those logged B4 us).TEAM LANDCRUIER TFTCThe cache is in excellant condition and all contents are dry.
Heading to Coolgardie via the Holland Track.
Such a good spot. We ended up camping 40m from GZ.
TEAM LANDCRUISER, I found The Holland Way today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches.
This was one of those will we or wont we caches - but being a country kid I though YES WE WILL - whats a bit of water on a wet track! What a fun drive in. Love these remotes hides. Thanks teamlandcruiser for bringing me here

After picking the wrong track off the main road we made our way towards the cache. After navigating a huge puddle we made the find and stopped to enjoy a bit of sunshine and the landscape. TFTC and definitely worth a fave point. ??
Day 2 of our Holland track trip and we had just left the town of Newdegate with Richlink in tow after setting off from Kulin earlier today.
Was expecting to have to walk further to this cache but managed to park within 100m and was a quick find, albeit we hadn’t read the logs and the cache is now no longer an ammo can. Shame that muggles steal this sort of stuff.
A great spot and Cravo flew the drone up and managed to take some ripper pictures from 400m above.
Thanks Team Landcruiser for the hide.

Thanks TEAM LANDCRUISER for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.
Geo-hubby met up with Barnzy12 & Cravo10 in Lake Grace to grab a few caches before meeting in Hyden with the rest of the team travelling the Holland Track over the next few days.
After finding a cache in Newdegate they headed to this historic spot to make the find. Amazingly after sixteen years the spoiler photo is still accurate. Thanks Team Landcruiser

The long awaited trip to tackle the Holland Track from go to whoa has finally arrived, we started at the
Broomehill end with a crew of 10 in 7 cars including myself, Allied_OZ, ChickenHawk07, Jaxonic, Kyzabra, MCFonz, rokadz, rudi63, Thefitzes and one muggle Alan who would not be converted. This first section was pretty easy going along gazetted roads.
Grabbed a few oldies like this one over the weekend. A quick find here by rudi63.
TEAM LANDCRUISER I found your cache at 2:47pm, this was the 7th of 8 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 6385. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Well the time has finally come for our long awaited Holland Track trip. What started up as a weekend away for a few has turned into a road trip with about 8 or so cars. Bring it on.

We spent the last night of the Christmas trip here at dragon rocks. Nice and quiet spot, a little bit cooler than the previous week of 40 degree days.

Holland Track Adventure
This trip had been on my 'Wish List' for some years
The problem was Logistics
I had to get the timing right...…….So many Variables!
Weather
The best time of year is after winter to avoid the very worst of the cold and wet, and before the weather gets too hot in summer
We were very fortunate to get nice warm sunny days and mild nights with no rain, the track was mostly dry and the deep mud puddles could easily be skirted around on dry tracks
Company
I did not want to tackle the track on my own as my vehicle is not fully set up for hard core 4 wheel driving, no winch or high lift kit which would be advisable, especially after rain
Luckily I found a group of other geocachers who were planning to tackle the track and I quickly agreed to join in the group
Today was the day
After spending many hours the previous afternoon removing all my work tools and other stuff out of my vehicle and packing in all my camp gear, I was ready to go early in the morning
Stopping to fill up with fuel on my way out of town then continuing on to pick up my passenger Mistraluna
While we had discussed a rough plan of finding caches on the way to Hyden I was not prepared for the coming adventure that this day would prove to become
Luckily we had all day today and tomorrow to get to Hyden where we would meet up with the other members of our party
On the way we stopped to top up with fuel and headed for our first cache of the day
From the fuel station we drove east to Pinjarra then on Pinjarra - Williams road, through Dwellingup, continuing east until we reached the power line road just past East Boundary rd. We made a left turn here and started heading north
The road was quite good and I did not need to use 4 wheel drive
I was thrilled to see a great number and variety of wild flowers along the roadside which I had not seen before
Our journey continues
Day 7
An early start to the day as usual, quick pack up the camp gear then off to find out first cache of the day
After finding some caches at our start point Lake Lefroy and traveling via Norseman then along the Hyden Norseman Rd we rejoined the Holland track to continue South West
We drove quite close to the cache and once we had located it and signed the log we enjoyed a wonderful sunset from the rock
We had a rough plan that we would came here tonight but the rock was quite exposed and the wind had become quite gusty
We needed to find a camp which was more sheltered
I had a friend who owned a property nearby and had told him that we were going to be in the area and he said to let him know so we could catch up
We actually had phone reception so I gave him a call, he was just leaving to drive back to Newdegate and was able to come and meet us on the track which passed through his property
He kindly offered to let us camp in his shed in Newdegate which was a wonderful bonus as we would be out of the looming weather and be able to have a hot shower tonight
After cooking up some steak for dinner we were able to relax and get a good nights sleep
All in all a magnificent end to a brilliant day

Today was day 7 of our Wheatbelt/Holland Track/Goldfields adventure, and what an adventure it has been. We had two days wandering the wheatbelt, picking up caches here and there as we wended out way towards our rendezvous point in Hyden where we were meeting up with others who would be travelling the Holland Track with us. We (Team Red Roo, SeabreezeOZ, m4yb, megawatt60, ebenie and Mistraluna) had an amazing time on the Holland and are still sharing photos, memories and laughs via our facebook group. It was sad to be the first to leave the group, but SeabreezeOZ and I were on a limited timeframe and had to start heading back towards home before the others. They say that all good things must come to an end...
But we weren't quite ready to just tuck our tails between our legs and head for home. No, we did a search of goldfields caches with fav points as a filter and came up with a "Must Do" list to grab whilst still in the area. I had never been into Kalgoorlie before yesterday, not really ever being interested in venturing too far from the ocean, so I was very impressed to see so much history around the place, and amazing landscapes as we travelled first east from Coolgardie into Kalgoorlie/Boulder, and then southwards down towards Kambalda, finishing our day not too far from the shores of Lake Lefroy. Sunrise at the lake was a definite highlight of the trip too, an experience I would recomment to everybody.
From Lake Lefroy, we continued in a southerly direction, stopping off here and there to climb the odd hill or two in search of trigs, or to take photos at other interesting locations on our way into Norseman. Once we reached Norseman, it was time to grab a few items from the local IGA and do a lightning tour around town, picking up the newer caches that had appeared since my last visit. After a rather nasty encounter with some locals, we weren't keen to hang around any longer and headed over to the Lake Cowen Lookout for a lunch stop and a chance to say goodbye to the goldfields before hitting the Norseman-Hyden Road as we headed west towards Wave Rock once again.
My companion had already found the caches along the Hyden - Norseman Road (apart from Thiel Rock, and we hadn't done our research on how to tackle that one) but was more than happy to stop so that I too could claim my smileys along that leg too. Once back at where the Holland Track crossed over, we turned left and followed the Holland in a south westerly direction with this cache on our radar as it was the last one on the whole Holland that I needed to find. Found it just on sunset, and what a glorious sunset it was too. Then it was back to civilization, but not before one last night, which we spent in Newdegate, with a bumper of a day planned for out last day, intending to trace the southern end of the Holland Track as closely as possible, ending up down in Broomehill at the start. Yay - entire Holland Track covered in just over a week - epic adventure shared with SeabreezeOZ.
Huge thanks to Team Landcruiser for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to come and find.

Out for a drive for a few days while on leave and have loose plans to do the whole track with a couple of others who want to start at Hyden. I wouldnt mind doing the whole lot, even it is in 2 parts so I went for this drive/cache trip.
Plenty of orchids here to look at and then on to find the cache, which was the replacement one.
Many thanks for the cache TLC.
Cheers

Thanks for taking me out here I enjoyed the drive out here the wildflowers are starting to flower and the canola is a sea of yellow. Unfortunately someone has stolen the ammo tin I could only see the mark where it once sat. No wanting such a old and remote cache to be archived I have replaced it with a little sistemer container and a couple sheets of paper in a ziplock bag. If anyone is coming in a little notebook would be better but that’s all I had in the car.
Vandaag samen met team Geoperen en Geochaos vanuit steinfurt op pad om smiley's op de kaart te zetten. Alle Co's bedankt voor het leggen en onderhouden van deze Caches.
Queensland couple traveling Australia, Working on a farm nearby and decided to come up for a look on a day off.
Easy access in, cache in good condition.
Heaps of room for swaps.
Took dragon and key ring.
Left Eiffel tower key ring and several small swaps

After returning to the Holland Track after about 6 years I have the opportunity to drive this end of the track - something I have wanted to do for a very long time. This cache was a quick find and sign before heading to Newdegate for fuel. Thanks to TEAM LANDCRUISER for the cache.
Checking out Dragon Rocks, decided to see if there was a GC.... Great little spot, thanks for the Cache!
What an excellent geocache, went down the wrong track of Hollands track ended up with a magnificent 750 metre walk to GCZ. We left a 10 Rupee note.
Completed this one while traveling on the track from Broomehill to Coolgardie. A great little walk to this spot and a place missed without the cache. Thanks Team Landcruiser.
Looks like the track in is going to get an upgrade. Another spot on the Holland Track we can cross off. Was thinking this was one of our most remote finds but realised we still had phone coverage......NICE!! The last log entry looks like it may have been by a muggle. They included an artifact they had found in with the log book. Very interesting and very kind of them to leave it for others to appreciate. You'll have to do the cache to see what it is TN LN SL. Thanks again Team Landcruiser. Grabbed TB as it had been here for a while.
Worked on a farm next to this reserve. Found it by accident and thats how
we found out about geocaching. Didn't write our names though but have a nice picture

A bit of a hike out to this one but at least the dirt roads are pretty good. Found the track to the cache ok and were rewarded with a few wildflowers dotted along the sides of the track. We found the cache without any problem. A nice location. Took water sprayer and left sunglasses. Thanks TEAM LANDCRUISER
After not being able to attempt Jilakin heights cache because of the Kulin races (needed to pay $25.00 per person to get thru) we found ourselves going for a drive in the worsening weather. We came in from the South, and after a few false starts finding the correct track in,had no trouble finding the cache.
Unfortunatley, the weather turned quite bad at that moment,(There was hail in the Hyden area) so didnt have chance to look around, but a great spot for the cache in an area thick with history.

Went along for a looooong drive. I was sent into the bush to pick up the cache. Glad it was easy to find.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
We were down the Stirling Ranges and this was the last of the Holland Track we hadn't got. So we headed north to visit.
From Newdegate we just followed the road north and went across to Dragon Rocks Road when there were a mob of sheep on the main drag. Had to pass through a property and two gates but we didn't miss the turnoff.
If you stay on the main road the turn off is about 1k north of the cache. Will gop through our track log and see if we can work out the co-ordinates as there is no sign.

I took new Geocacher Peta's Patch with me when I placed my new cache "What Chance" not too far away. We then decided to try and find The Holland Way.
When coming in from the north east, it took a little while to get onto the right road. Some local knowledge helped greatly.
A very hot and windy day but we thoroughly enjoyed the hunt. Thank you

Fourth of ten caches we found on our Holland Track/Wave Rock trek starting from the Broomehill end. Found easily with the aid of spoiler photo. We seemed to have taken a long track into the cache. Time was marching on and we wanted to get to Emu Rocks to camp however we wanted to find the cart tracks. Amazed to see them still there all these years later.

Thanks TLC for another great cache.

We drove along the farm roads from Broomhill hunting out the cache. Somewhere along the way we went on the wrong side of a lake and missed the Dragon Rocks turnoff. It didnt matter much as we used the GPS maps to hunt out the track on the Newdegate road and drove along this to the cache. The turnoff was hard to see and without the maps we would have missed it. Coordinates for the turn off are s32.48.065 e119.03.184. If you come in the right direction you may not need these as this would be where you would exit Dragon Rocks reserve. The cache had lots of cards for finders so had to have a look at them all.....SEE PHOTO..Took Stamp set added Mouse pad
FTF in company with Team Chunky, enjoyed the walk to this cache, now to continue cruzin on the Holland Track for the next few days.
