Lots of muggles about however, we are pretty sure its gone .. maybe worth a look to see if still there..
Like gonefishing, we had a very lengthy search for the cache, as there was not a soul around - but we turned up nothing.
We had actually visited this spot previously to nab the cache on the way up to Tongariro (between gonefishing's DNF and the last successful find) - but we also left empty handed.

Came by very early this morning on the way North - before anybody was about. Just could lay hands on the cache, in spite of a thorough search.
A muggle intensive area - even at night. Explains why its been 3 months since the last log signing.
Artfully hidden ... Checked the same rock twice before I found the cache, though I was a little distracted trying to collect all the necessary multi details and retrieve my pen after I accidentally tossed it in the fountain.
Like to return in daylight to really admire the scenery. Thanks for the introduction to a great spot.

Nice easy find once we followed the hint. Lovely sunny morning and a few distracted muggles having brunch didn't pay us much attention. Thanks.
Yay found this one. (2 out of 2 for the day). Took a bit of a time, looking in wrong spot initially.
Had to come back for this one as some little ankle biters were hanging around so did Marhara Place Artworks and came back and the little darlings were no longer about. TFTC
Nice quiet afternoon in Mahara place today. A sit and a scratch about soon had cache in hand. TFTCSL
Visiting w/ my new zealand family. Spending a spectacular afternoon geocaching. Found this with the help of Team Jade.

Second try. Wasn't under the rock that i thought it was.Compass directions were a bit out. TFTC
Good day to find what with the heavy drizzle and cold weather not many people around at all.
Took the advice of other logs but found that it was not north but due west as stated in cache.
Took a few goes to find and once found seemed liked an obvious place to put it.

Searched due west to no avail. When chazzanz said I was looking sth, I showed her the compass and she agreeed with me after almost disecting every rock. We decided to go with what we thought rather than compass bearings and found it due north. Thanks for the hunt.
Could feel it with the tips of my fingers but was unable to retrieve it. Returned a little later when muggle activity diminished and was able to retrieve it. Completed the puzzle for Mahara Place Artworks cache while I was there.
1636 Thanks Matt for getting this one up and running again so quickly so that we could grab it! TFTC
I went and had a look where it used to be. No sign of it there - suspect "little" hands may have found it.
I didn't find it where you had described it, possibly muggle stolen.
Nice idea though.

Interesting water features and sculptures. With two of us sitting together, it was easy enough to retrieve and replace the cache in the middle of the day. TFTC
This was a great experience for us........ had us searching everywhere....... trying not to be obvious.
Waited till dark when only one or two muggles were around. Quick find, co-ordinates and clue spot on. TFTC.
An excellent place to hide a cache. Was my 3rd attempt at this one as was others about the last 2 times. TFTC SL
No muggles about at 5.30pm today so made a quick find on my way home after being in Otaki for the afternoon. SL TFTC
Miserable wet day and was passing and couldn't resist. No one else anywhere in sight so snaffled and completed log elsewhere. Back in place without observation.
Too busy visiting the OP shop & didn't realise this cache was soooo close. Not many people around so managed a quick find. TFTC
Staying close by for a few days, grabbed this tonight, but see it is part of a puzzle cache so might have to re-vist.
Many Thanks Bitsprayer

Easily found by potential new cachers at 9:30pm. No muggles anywhere. Coordinates a little off, but hint perfectly useful.
Found with Imgettingannoyed during our 3 n half week NZ mega cache mission!!
A bit of a tough one, as the area was riddled with muggles! But with a bit of stealth, we got it without being noticed!

took 2 goes at this one, didnt want to look too suspicious. so had to go away have a look at the shops and come back and with the clue it was a quick and esay find
Nice easy find in an almost deserted area today. One of those places I would probably never visit. TFTC
There has never seemed to be a 'right' time to pay a visit here, but late afternoon on a wet Saturday seemed to be as good as any. And so it proved to be. Relatively muggole free, spotted the hide then had to do some wandering while muggles exited and left a clear scene.
Cache all in order, rehidden well, as found.
SL, TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Very nice spot!! No trouble at all for Annie to play the crazy photo taking tourist while PB cased the location and made the find, as she would likely have taken photos of the sculptures, cache or not. We were pleased to come here. We also had a yummy Indian lunch at the food court in the mall a bit further on. Thanks for placing this cache. TNLN
Found easily today with very few people around. I tried for this one a few weeks ago but didn't have the hint with me and was defeated. I can see why now - the coordinates are about 12m out and I didn't look this far away from my displayed GZ. which was consistent and in the same place on both visits. Using the hint this time made things much easier. Signed log, TFTC!
Jr taybee has this own account how am logging this old find under his new Username (Jr taybee) was log as part of taybee team
Cool little spot, came here in the evening when there weren't many muggles around.
Been there two or three times, always muggles around, nobody there tonight. Nice one.
Not a soul in sight at midday on the Sunday.. So was a quick and easy retrieval and log.. Thanks for showing us this place.. TNLNSL...
Clever hide, but the richkai and crystal fairy teams were up to the challenge and chalked up the 4th find for the day. Fortunately there were no muggles to be seen. Was such a good day guess they were all at the beaches.

A very quick find here. The area was pretty dead at 4pm on a Sunday, so no muggle worries. TFTC.
Nice and easy find as a sweetener during a business trip to Palmerston North... TFTC!
one yank and one pommie found cache.this was poms 2nd cache of day was with yank66 tftc
It was raining so no muggles about at all, so it was easy to retrieve, sign and hide the cache. TFTC.
Nice micro - Great little spot - was in the area for work so dropped in for a quiet walk and not much muggles TFTC
Didn't have any clues or notes with us and so couldn't find. On reading the page now, I see we were in the right area, just not enough searching! Lots of muggles too even though it was a Sunday. Thanks for the hunt.
A nice place to sit and sip from a drink bottle - this provided the perfect cover to find and return the cache. Cleverly hidden, thanks Blargster.
Came down to this one after lunch at Vella cafe?
It was a hot day, found ok, had to be careful though. Not many people around today.
Lovely little statue and pool. Thamks

Easy to avoid muggles watching - spread my motorcycle helmet and bag and jacket around the site!
Found it late on Sunday afternoon, after a very successful geocaching event day organised by Blarghster, in a park that is not too far away. Only a few muggles, but they were busy concentrating on their skate boarding, etc.

Too many muggles around to find it, but I wanted to try it anyway. Maybe next time we are in the area.
