I Visited gz as per amended instructions, just to find what everyone else has been finding - nothing. The location seems to be ok for supporting a cache though, and given its age, I decided to leave my 200ml snack container with a leaf from a notebook behind. I have messaged the owner, so I hope this is ok! TFTC!!
I gave it the old college try, but came up as empty as the last two searchers. This one also needs to be edited to change the type to a trad.
Based on the hint there was an obvious spot where the container should have been but no luck, there was some evidence of the creek invading on the spot but other evidence of muggle activity. We had a spare with us so put it in place a little less exposed to rising waters and covered with natural camo. Thanks samy! for the nice wander on a quiet part of the trail.
Tregearp and I solved this yonks ago but always seemed to be against the clock when passing. Today we had time to stop and have a thorough search. In the end we concluded the cache had gone given the explicit hint and gz. We replaced the cache and have msg'ed the CO accordingly. Thanks Sammy for taking us down a new path.
Down from Northland, visiting the South Island on a 7 day caching and sight seeing trip. The main object was to find the last four CANZ caches, finish off my D/T grid, fill as many spaces as possible in my Jasmer grid and then concentrate on special types, solved puzzles, completed challenges and those with good numbers of favourite points, plus maybe a few extras that were close to any of our stopping points.
The trip started off on a good note, with our rental cache mobile being little more than a week old and only 109 kms on the clock. It certainly had a few more by the time we returned it..!
Day four today and our mission is to explore the local area and get a few important caches as well. This one was on the list as it would have filled a spot in my Jasmer grid. However, despite a thorough search at GZ, no cache was found. A bit disappointing to miss out on this one, as it was supposedly found only 3 weeks ago. Thx anyway.

Before driving from Mapua we found this cache. Everything is OK.

Its Queens Birthday Weekend so we are off caching for the long weekend. Todays route took us from Motueka through the Rai Valley to Blenheim. We parked nearby for a nice easy walk to the cache. Thanks for placing this cache for everyone else's enjoyment and for keeping this easy multi alive.
Found quickly after work, the road is nice.
I didn't have pen so i take a picture.

Nice and easy multi cache with the final coordinates kindly provided so no worries and the final was on the way back to the car after a stroll along the beach. T F T M samy! Q E F at G Z.
With a mild winters day on the cards for the weather, and daughter staying at a friends for the night, mrs capperz said she was keen for a trip ober to Mapua and piossibly lunch out too so I planned a modest trip with a couple of small walks and not too many caches (for once). We had a great lunch at the Sprig and Fern and a stroll along the beach and a generally nice day out. We even saw the Seagnoid caching around in the area too, Marlborough must have been quiet today.

I have decided, that since there is more than enough local caches for me to complete my calendar project I would try for the Ten Multis in Ten Days Challenge in Paremata, just north of Wellington. But there are not enough multis left in Blenheim, but it can work if I come to Nelson for a couple of weekends. So here I am, with Taybeedragon, Zara and Toby in tow. On a puzzle-only weekend. Well, puzzles, and just one multi per day. The multi done, and with my GPS loaded with nothing but solved puzzles, we set off.
Well, it's supposed to be a puzzle day, but I have run out of solved puzzles before we ran out of daylight. So we are finishing off with finishing off Mapua.
This one confused me slightly. Two waypoints. Iadded them to the map, while I was out in the field, but could only find one on the map. Killed them off then added one... okay. Added the next - already there! Kill off and add them the other way around. Same thing. Two waypoints with the same coordinates? At home now I check it out. Yes, two with the same coordinates. Odd. Weird. Strange. Anyway, the cache was an easy find, sorry to hear you had to kill the original multi, but thanks for keeping the cache live. An easy find, with no one else around anywhere.

The Seagnoid has finding his solved puzzles and an odd multi on the radar for the weekend - in Nelson. Yes!! Zara and I arrived on Thursday, with The Seagnoid and Toby completing the team Friday night. With the multi out of the way its on to puzzles thanks to The Seagnoid solving abilities and thanks to the COs for the extra mind boggling effort.
The Seagnoid had only loaded puzzles for the weekend. But we are running out and are near Mapua so its over to the trusty Cell Phone so we can cache around here. Its time for a walk. Too much time in Toby today.
After visiting the walkway bridge to the beach, its back here. Quick easy find at GZ. Cheers

Having dropped the rest of the clan off at the Mapua fair I headed off to take the dog for a walk. Parked up in Warren place then headed towards the beach. Made the grab for this one with no one about. Thanks for the cache.
Had trouble with this one. Made it half way but not sure after that. Will re-group and try tomorrow.
Took 3 of the grandkids for a walk today and had a look at the big wall and the beach, not many boats around tftc
Tftc sorry we didn't have a pen so justajem and scr0tum poked three holes in a row again
Found with Dr.Davis and Scrotum, however we didn't have a pen with us so have left 3 small holes on one line to indicate we have been there. Tftc
Such a perfect spring evening I'll carry on my walk to the beach. I like this track and when it's still like today you can't beat the coastal view.

A quick find in new position , had to wait for a muggle and two four footed muggles to move before we could sign it. TFTC.
Over to Mapua this evening for a thing that Streetgamer had on. Whilst he was doing his thing, I sloped off to look for a few local caches, starting with this one.
I had previously read the details so I knew this 'multi' was now a 'trad', which I was grateful for as it was dark, very dark, down this path way, but my eyes were just adjusting to the dark as I spotted the hint object. Once there, the cache was a quick find.
Thanks

We down loaded the cache details to our GPSand spent a half hour at the GZ to no avail. After getting back to the car were checked the details on the web site to find there were new coords in the waypoints which had not been down loaded to the GPS. We went to the new coords and found the cache quickly.
It may help other cachers if the key coords could be changed.
Thanks for the cache samy!.

Got a bit confused by the change from multi to traditional, making the assumption that cache was actually at the first given coordinates. Never mind , nice to check out Olive's view and cycle the path a few times.
Joint find with Miss Chrisb34. Managed to dodge the passing showers, which was an added bonus. Thanks samy!!!
Thanks for the cache. Was a bit of a long walk as we approached it from Ruby Bay end after finding a cache there.
#7658. The dead-end street we parked on was surprisingly industrial. Nice walk to the cache. TFTC.
Had noticed this cache was now a trad, so had updated the published co-ords with the final, but StreetWalker's GPSr still had the old co-ords and was wondering why I stopped when I did.
Avoided a pile of dog poo near the start of the track, but was too busy reading up on the cache description to notice the second pile . Some dog owners a lazy b%$#@&s.
Thanks for keeping this cache alive after the removal of the signboard because it is a pleasant walk (we carried on down the walkway and along the beach to the D'Urville view cache). TFTC.

Took a few dud searches in wring place, then found it. Returned later with pencil and swap. Thanks.
A short walk to GZ and no problem finding the cache. Took TB. TFTC

Fortunately I noticed that this had changed from a multi to a traditional before I loaded it into the GPS which has an aversion to showing waypoints easily. Co-ords were quickly changed on the cache page so it made for a short walk and quick find. TFTC.
Strolling along from mapua leisure park to Ruby bay and took a detour for this one. Was a bit worried about the last DNF but in fact it was nice and easy and a nice detour. Left a TB that is keen to travel NZ so maybe the owner can move it along if it's not picked up soon. Ruby Bay/Mapua is definitely a lovely area to visit..especially when the weather is so perfect.
Has this been moved again? Or has the item in the clue been removed? We checked several of them out, but could not find one we thought would house cache.
Found while out walking and geo-caching with local friends this morning [;D]. Not too difficult.

Should have read the description before starting the walk. But a lovely day in the bay made for a nice walk anyway TFTC

Glad we decided to go for this, it turned out much less walking than originally expected due to mutating nature of the cache. Quick find. Many thanks
Another stunning Tasman day just made for treasure hunting and another pathway I didn't know existed, TFTC.
Out walking along the path, just had to deviate and find this. No pen in container. but found and replaced the cache.
Great walk along the beach, will be back for another look at a quieter time without other walkers.
Walked to the beach first and 'sigh' the cache is 500 metres back up the track! TFTC
Walked 500 metres, then walked 500 metres right back,
when we figured out we were in the wrong place!!!

Noted this morning that I had corrected coords for the final for this multi, so I was racking my brains trying to remember when I did the earlier stages. Of course, I hadn't, I had merely entered the final location into GSAK when the multi was changed to a Trad. Out Mapua way this afternoon seeking to remove this cache and a few others from my unfound list. Thanks for the cache.
Once re-read the description & got new co-ords soon had it in hand, had a good walk on this lovely day. 6/6 with our new paperless gps. TFTC
Made hard work of this one (all my fault) but got there in the long run. TNLN SL TFTC
Well, we were stumped and baffled, (hot and dusty - to say nothing about being a bit tired after a day of it!!!)Thought it must have been muggled - back to GPS and new co-ords, and we wern't stumped any longer. Great walk - what a wall!! TFTC.
This one almost had us. Wandered all the way down to the beach, right past the new final waypoint (which I had presumed was the suggested parking having not looked too closely). Luckily we had parked at the suggested warren place so had an idea where it might be after reading the hint and sure enough, just as morning tea finished we had it in hand. Found with NZLats. TFTC and a nice walk.
Found this with hint help, clicked after getting to waypoint and finding nothing significant there. TFTC.
Didn't expect to do this cache but on my way to "D'Urville View" I checked the details for this and realised that it was now a traditional not a multi, and that GZ was very close to where I had parked the car. A quick and easy find on the way back. Signed log, TFTC!

Mr Geckoh was mucking around a bit with this find, so Mrs Geckoh had to step in and show him where to go! Nice quick find with no muggles about in the early mortning. TFTC

This cache has been around since FEB 2006 and was a multi that required you to go to an information board out on the beach.
was way too easy - comment in the description was far too explicit - but Peter loved the swaps
A nice walk before work to find this cache. A really nice walkway. Thanks heaps for the cache =)
Busy day stopping for geocaches on the way to, and around Motueka. Located this cache quite quickly. Thanks for making my journey interesting - enjoyed the walk. SL TFTC

Arrived at WP1, but no sign of the sign! I think it has been removed. We were able to find the final by using the clue and some guesswork. At GZ the cache had been rifled, but all the bits were there so we were able to re-assemble it and re-hide in the same spot. The final hide is now all good, but maybe this needs to be turned into a traditional? Anyway, TFTC!
Arrived at the given GZ and OH NO!!!! no signboard, I think that either the council have taken it down or some naughty muggles have vandalised it and then the council has removed it. This was a bit of a pain as we walked all the way down to this one from the South end, but all wasn't loss as it was a nice walk that Mrs Yeetrees enjoyed. Thanks
great fun with the girls finding this. Learning to use GPS so went on wild goose chase for a while. Took geocoin. TFTC
Thanks, we definately need to learn how to use GPS better, as such took a bit longer, but found tracks we didn't know existed. Thanks
Happy New Year
Dropped off Canadian Geocoin

This was No 4 on Queens birthday bike ride. Had never been down here beforethat was some retaining wall near notice board. Picked up TB left TB
Why is it that these simple multi's are often the hardest? Simple because I often miss a crucial bit of maths! This was no exception - I knew i had it wrong when I was completing the circuit and still had a long way to go. Recheck and a quick find. I loved the walk anyway. TFTC +coin
