Logs
We were about to walk away with a dnf.But suddenly realised there was no.pony club nearby.Clever. Tftc
Catching up with late logs.We are traveling with Geoturtle 37, Papi4506 & The Drovers to do an assault on Bathurst and surrounds. We solved all the puzzles we could before we left home which was also an enjoyable part of this journey. We had a great time here in the Orange area finding all types of cache sizes and hides but unfortunately we have got behind in our logging and are trying to catch up now.We can no longer remember the caches individually so we apologize for the generic log, it's certainly not meant to take anything away from our experience, it's just the old minds just ain't what they used to be.We do recall this one as you would think that with limited places to hide a cache that this would be a nice easy find but even with this many eyes looking we still had to decode the hint before we located this sneaky little bugger. At least we can say that our names are now in the log.We signed the logs as The Mob.Many thanks for adding this piece to the game board for our enjoyment.
How wonderful to find such an old cache. I do attempt to find them when I can so this was a bonus as I had forgotten to check. Thank you for placing the cache and maintaining it for so long.
Day 3 of our Bathurst trip with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506.Today we did a lot of country driving, and included Orange in our travels. The scenery was lovely with the trees turning a multitude of different colours for winter. All puzzles were solved before the trip. This is one of the caches we stopped to find along the way.A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, Team AAA, for us and others to find.
2nd time for the day looking, had to reset and go and have lunch, but read back on previous comments and thought about the name!!!! Eventually we came back, but with the excitement we forgot a pen, so we couldnt sign.Well hidden
A couple of clues from previous finders made for a quick find. Scared myself when I actually touched it. TFTC.
Exceptionally easy hide that made for a hard find. After my third attempt I crossed my t's and dotted my I'd and left no stone unturned and came up with the goods. Well done. TFTC
Travelling and caching with RoddyC to Canberra & Bathurst before returning home.
Brought in a TOTT or two but did not reveal anything. Then looked back at the cache details and then thought about it. Ahhh. Let my fingers do the walking. Done!

Very busy corner in school times but plenty of parking off road. The way we getting looked at here I'm thinking it's not uncommon to find a mobile speed camera close by.
I think I may have made lots of Spider enemy today as I cleaned out every hole and created confusion in there world but sadly like most of Bathurst another DNF

Our second look at this one. 5 set of eyes looking at this one but to no luck today. Will try another day as we scooter past.
In Bathurst with iPlod65 for a weekend of socialising, parkrun and geocaching of course. The weather hasn't been great, but we got a minor repreive on Sunday with some sun for the first time.
I was last here back in April but only grabbed a few. Good to be back to reclaim some DNFs and see some more of the micro-capital of the central west.
Last geocache for the trip and we DNFd it . Not through lack of trying though. We were systematic and thorough. In the end we ran out of places to look.
Thanks anyway Team AAA

Oh thank goodness! Two visits, and PAF and trusty phone video and we finally had the cache in hand. We weren’t sure we were gonna get this one today!!
Over in Bathurst region trying to pick up 25 unique cache D/T ratings in a day. It has been such an epic adventure trying to secure them all - we have certainly travelled far and wide!! Glad for all the prep and planning before hand and the few back up caches we included in the list, or we never would have made it.

Nibletricecakes and I had a target today - find 25 different D/Ts. After searching for around 20 minutes, we had all but given u on this one. After a PAF, I used my phone video camera and finally found this teeny tiny one. Very tricky. Thanks for placing a cache that contributed to our challenge.
Tftc Team AAA, poked about and twigged where the name fit in. After that quick find co ords spot on. Fave point
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Bathurst for a 9 day holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback Camper Trailer at the Bathurst NRMA Big4 Caravan Park, and plan to collect some caches & Adventure Labs in the Bathurst and surrounding areas.
Today we went for a drive up to Abercrombie, completing the cache trail along the Macquarie River walking path, then back down to Bathurst town centre via West Bathurst, collecting caches along the way. We ended the day with a few caches at Macquarie Vale. This was the 7th of 30 finds for the day (day 6), and 97th find of the holiday.
This one took a while to find, after walking from one end to the other several times and checking all possibilities as we went, and eventually spotted the little fella. Signed the log and then replaced as found. I guess we are now officially members of "The Saddle Club" . TFTC Team AAA.

Could not find it in any of the hidey holes, and I haven't watched Saddle Club so I don't get the reference.
Winter 2020 trip to Bathurst. Day 1. I joined forces with Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for another visit to Bathurst and the surrounding area to visit new caches and try to find caches we have all managed to not find on previous visits. It was an overwhelmingly successful trip where we all managed to find some nemesis caches that stretch back several years and many trips to the region. Despite the cold we camped each night and had a most enjoyable weekend now we are allowed out to roam a bit further.
We left the previous finder in the car and went off with no extra clues than what is provided. After eliminating the first set of locations, I recalled another technique, and on my second pass of those I was ecstatic to locate this tiny cache.
Thanks for the cache Team AAA

With COVID-19 restrictions eased so that we can travel within our state, fitzy_1965, albida33 and I headed into the Bathurst region for a long-awaited caching weekend away to turn as many DNF's into smilies as possible and collect any unfound caches inbetween.
Took us about 10mins of systematic searching before albida came up with the find.

Found in the company of Key_Tat and Viper_101… Visiting the inlaws in Bathurst, thought we might grab some caches while in the area, thanks for placing. Loved this one, FAV point coming. TFTC
Caching with Tatt2squared and Viper_101... finding some caches while in the area visiting family...TFTC.
Caching with Tatt2squared and Key_Tat... caching around the Bathurst area while visiting our Grandparents. TFTC.
Now that was a challenge, and certainly not in the first place I looked. Thanks for the hide, and worth a favourite!
First time I have managed to get out and have a look for any caches in quite some time, so a first of sorts. Nice hide, nice name. TFTC.
Found it on an early morning raid. Very clever & very sneaky. Sooo small. Same cache as the one at O’Connel cemetery. TFTC
Dnf any tips would be helpful as me and my little brother are both new and trying to find the ones near our house
We had a good search for this, with no muggles around. Too well hidden for us. TFTH.
Looked in all the obvious, and more sneaky spots. Nothing to be found this time.
A small window of opportunity to grab a hand full of caches on Boxing Day. A few options here but wondered about the title and a bit of phone magic had this little blighter in hand. TFTC
This one had us going but after re-reading a couple of previous logs and noting the cache name it was eventually CIH. TFTC.
I should have found this quicker. I was on the right track early, but just didn't spot it for ages.
Hubby found this pretty quickly. He recognised the connection with the cache name. Happy to get one this morning as the rain is now setting in. Not a great day for the Motor Race. Today we are going to arrive home after a long trip to the Red Centre Experience at Easter. TFTC.
Excellent spot to escape the summer heat. Looking again at the name gave us the hint we needed.
Quickly narrowed down a likely spot to match clue and cache name after finding a similar hide yesterday.

I needed a tool because i really dont like spiders and there are plenty of spider webs around here so i mustered up a stick, it worked quite well.
Gotcha

With school holidays here i thought taking the kids geocaching would be a good idea. It was because they found many I could not
Quick find this time, i shoved a pen in there last time with no result, this time it popped out.
I've been talking about this one for the last 2 days, and whether I'd give it a go or not... Curiousity got the better of me. Once I arrived, I got the reference, and it was just a matter of time before CIH. Cheers!
GZ had me standing on the middle of the road. That meant only one thing! With the name of the cache I guessed what I had to search for here and spotted the cache quickly. Reading previous logs, I don't know way cachers needed tools here. TFTCM
Cheers

Only 'NOW' does it all make sense! Love it! ty Team AAA! Signed a fresh new log.
Think we will come back with some equipment to assist us. Possibly found it but couldn't get to it.
I'm pretty sure I'm looking in the right spot. Read a lot of past logs and had a good search. But couldn't find the cache.
DNF thefirst time I went as gps was stuffing up but went again on a sunny day and found the little bugger

It didn't take too long as it was in the second place we looked once we worked out the approximate position from above. Log book is full. Sorry we didn't have anything small enough with us. TFTC.
I've stopped by here several times and was sure I was on the right track, but all to no avail.
With the right equipment we were able to dislodge this pesky little cache and sign the very full log.
TFTC Team AAA, it's a little beauty.

What a tricky little find this turned out to be, the right tools certainly helped. TFTC Team AAA
No luck today, searched for quite some time before the motorcycle rally headed off again. Next time.
