### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there MSMACKA,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

Find # 10323
Up in Parkes for 2 weeks with work. Looking after the factory while the local manager has a well earned Holiday.
Tonight I decided to go for my evening walk through the town.
Seeing this building I remembered that there was a cache around here, as I have passed by a couple of times during the day in the ute with the GPS going, but have been unable to stop for a look.
Not having the GPSr with me tonight (as caching was not on my mind - shock horror) I got c:geo going on the phone and checked the info on this cache. Had a quick look around as 2 of the front doors were opened and did not want to linger around too much. I walked around the corner to read up on previous log and with some info to go on I went back around for another look.
As I rounded the corner this time a worker had come out and was on the footpath. They had seen me walk past, looking at my phone. They knew exactly what I was there for and after a chat about where I think it was hidden and let me check a couple of places they happily showed me where this one was tucked away.

This one was out there just waiting to be found in broad daylight. Signed the log and replaced it where it was but just a little less conspicuous.
A great old building. Our town being only about 40 years old has nothing like the old buildings we are seeing in this part of NSW.
We moved from Cowra to Parkes today via some smaller towns on the way, caching as we went. Hoping the weather will pick up! We had no rain and the sun was certainly shining, but the wind was again cold making it cooler than it actually was.
A variety of hides, and a few puzzles in the 'History of....' series.
Thank you to the local cachers.

After attending the CacheQLD MEGA, over Easter we are heading steadily back towards Victoria, hopefully we will qualify to cross the border! Each day a number of rest stops must be factored in, strangely enough they correspond with caches which are relatively close to the road, such as this.
Like those before us, we tried to make the cache a little less conspicuous. Amazing that it has been in play for 15 years.
Thanks MSMACKA for placing interesting caches on the gameboard.

Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??

Found on a trip around inland NSW with FeatherWaite.
Our original intention was to attend the Mega event at Dayboro in Queensland, travelling up via Broken Hill, Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba, then home via the NSW coast to Port Macquarie then on to Adelaide via central NSW. However, the Covid outbreak in Brisbane forced us to reconsider, particularly given that the Mega and associated events were within the area of concern and we may have had difficulty re-entering NSW to get home and then would have had to quarantine back in SA for 14 days.
The floods in the north and east of NSW also hampered our travel plans. But we were able to develop a new plan that took us on a very pleasant tour around country NSW, picking up some interesting caches along the way.
Thanks MSMACKA for the cache.

Found while waiting for dinner. Felt a bit out in the open with tbe people right there in in ambulance station but no one asked me what I was doing. Thanks for the cache.
We were wondering what the description meant and whether it helped us narrow the hiding spot, when we found it laying out in the open. We moved it closer to the building in the hope it's not so obvious for any muggles etc walking by.

The cache was found just lying on the ground, out in the open. Replaced next to the building for a little more security. We're not sure where it was originally located. A CO check is advised.

Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I based ourselves in Parkes and its surrounds. Following breakfast, our first stop was CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope, which was our highlight. We then proceeded north via Alectown to Peak Hill, where we walked around the old mining area. We then returned back to Parkes driving a loop via Tullamore, Trundle, and Bogan Gate, and we used the afternoon remainder walking around Parkes and completing the *Welcome to Parkes!* Adventure Lab.
This was our first cache find of the day, and as it turned out, it was rather exposed and out in the open, so it was a quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Hopefully this one lasts, or it may need a better hide! Thanks MSMACKA for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

A great day exploring Parkes and surrounding towns on Davidwazza and I's drive up to Brisbane! TFTC!
Tftc MSMACKA, came out early before most muggles are up. with only a few options for a hide this was a quick find.
Although NRC and my original SA plans may have been shutdown by the border closures, we decided to venture out anyway into our immediate backyard of NSW and pick up some counties and some much needed R&R.

Found with K8TYBEE on our last minute trip out to Grenfell, orange, Parkes, Condo and West Wyalong to help her clean up some missing counties. A great consolation prize after having to cancel our trip to South Australia. Thanks for the cache.

We were busy looking, and I was in the right spot, when one of the ambulance officers opened the door and scared me, but we were in the right place . Still, interesting spot for a cache. TFTC
On a road trip from the cenny coast to Bathurst-Parkes-Narromine-Dubbo-Gulgong and back with some muggle friends. Up at dawn to find a few trigs and caches. This one looked like an interesting challenge. People have been saying that they have been getting help from the Ambos but it was too early for them when I fronted so I was on my own. Something someone mentioned in a recent log had me trying something obvious and a cache was soon found. That actually could have turned out a whole lot different! TFTC, MSMACKA. This is our first May 2006 cache so we have dipped our [Novo Jasmer Challenge Coin](https://coord.info/TB7AXHF) to celebrate.

Reluctant to open some things, but after reading previous log, took the risk and found it.

We came to Parkes because it seemed like a nice place to visit. And it is. We learnt lots about radio astronomy, watched a bit of the local team play cricket and ate some lovely apple and sour cream tart (mmm). And we also found this cache. All in all a nice time. Thanks Msmacka.
Day 18 of our outback adventure which included QOGM 2019. Back into NSW today and really travelled further than I anticapted - St George to Dubbo. Will spend a couple of nights here and decide where to from here.

With GreyHams we set off on our 3 day NSW caching trip, north up past Dubbo and across to Nyngan before heading back down... and around, to make sure we collected the caches of interest along the way. Counties, oldies, good DT and others of interest, enough to steer us across country and into some interesting and worthy to visit locations.
The sun shining and the sky blue it was a great time to be out through the changing scenery along the way, from the lush green hills to the flat straight outback. Many thanks to all the CO's for their cache placements, we sure found some unexpected locations worthy of visiting as we journeyed through.
GreyHams had this found in no time while I circled about near by eating M&M's. Navigate, find, sign!

Today was day 2 of the trip Aquilus1 and myself undertook from Canberra... into the heart of deepest darkest NSW. Grabbing as many counties as possible is the name of the game as well as trying to pick up everything old and/or interesting.... if you are reading this its becasue this cache ticked one of those boxes.
The day started in Wellington and finished in Parkes, though we went the long way around. The highlights of today was some amazing caves, the Big Bogan and the dead centre of NSW (including 7 years unlove on a cache there)
Found after I manned up and searched harder

In the area with SES for training across the weekend. He led in and had a feed and played the will we, won’t we game and headed out for a few more smiles by torch and headlight. With the cold starting to set in and a touch of fatigue we decided this would be our last smile for the night. TFTC
In town to assist with a SES course this weekend, bonus caching time was going to be limited with training and a five hour drive each way so, after dinner on our first night, headed out with kea26 to tick off as many as we could before bedtime. Maybe just as well we tried this one after hours as it took longer to feel confident of searching a suspect location than making the actual grab.
