It would be great if people would log their finds accurately. Logging a cache you've never been to, in a country you've never been to, may lead other people to look for non-existent caches.
Perhaps the CO could confirm this cache is still in place, as no-one in Australia has seen it in over 6 months.

Lodging as a Needs Archiving as has had a maintenance flag for a long time now. Definitely seems to need checking by the CO.
On a beautiful day with a beautiful view we had a team of three and searched high and low with no success.
Spent a good half hour searching after seeing the found log. A closer look once back home and it seems its either a fake log or was logged in error by someone in Canada.
4 of us on the team and none of us found it after a mega search. Maybe it's not actually there anymore!
Cool spot and nice walk up there but no luck finding the cache.

Came here after running a 3 hour orienteering event in the pasrk. One of the controls in the event had been placed very nearby. We had a pretty good look around and also saw the lizard but had no joy. Maybe we were too tired after the event.
Found the friendly blue tongue lizard, and a few of his desiccated relatives, but no cache.
No luck today - only our second attempt at finding a cache and lots of muggles around to complicate matters. Will be back another day!
Took a muggle family caching today after promising to for over a year. They are now cachers! Welcome to caching Tretamrosie! Jodie found it but it took a few sticks and some tiny hands to retrieve it!
TFTC Robmc Nice to be able to find so many different types of caches to show them what to look for!
Thanks for bringing us here. Don't think I've ever been here before. Amazing views!

A fabulous day for caching , great weather, great company, good exercise and beautiful scenery.
Found @1648 #1890
On another legendary cache run with best mate ahomburg thru the western regions starting in Werribee all the way to the You Yangs and back again. The weather was ideal today and we had hopes for high numbers, the run started at 7:30am and walk thru the door at home right on 8pm; a big day. However I will be back as there are more to find. Some good cache quality in this region as well as being in some impressive settings.
Never been to the You Yangs before and didn't have alot of time to really explore the area as much as I would like so it was a quick visit for today but I will be back with the bike. The hunt for this one took a few minutes to locate and it was a team effort it was in fact ahomburg who finally spotted the nice hide. Some great views from GZ, WOW!! Thanks for bringing me here. Find # 2067
The regular weekend run with my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave was this week on a Sunday. We were headed out to the Werribee, Tarneit, the You Yangs and then back home via Little River. We left home at 7.30AM with the Diabolical series on our minds.
I had driven past the You Yangs many times in my life, but never actually visited. What a surprise location with fantastic views all around. I spotted the cache fairly quickly, but retrieving it was another thing. We got it eventually. Great spot. The log book is pretty close to full, so will need replacing very soon. A favorite point awarded just for bringing me to this great spot.
Thanks to Robmc for the cache. TNLN.

This cache was the seventeenth cache of around 20 today testing out the new hiking boots.
We think we came to the You Yangs a bit too late today as we didn't have enough time to do all the caches we wanted. This one was the first we found here and provided a nice view on this interesting place. Great views from the spot as well. We located the cache quite quickly however getting it out was a different story. My hand got quite scratched in the process, however after about 10mins I got the container out. We sat on the rocks and admired the view while signing the log. Thanks for bringing us to this awesome place Robmc

Honestly I really enjoyed finding this one - took a bit of time to narrow down the well placed and sneaky hide.
The views from the top of GZ is absolutely awesome and the obvious tell tail signs of the indigenous survival/living arrangements was the hi-light for me.
Thx the awesome adventure Rob

Found this tricky bugger on a trip to the Youyangs with 6hinemoa2.
Had to find a stick both small enough and strong enough to extract it from it's hide.
This is certainly an impressive rock feature, and I'm sure the cache name is apt after rain.
Not an issue today in 28degree temp.
Thanks Robmc

Out with Bogonghazy and this was our first cache for the day. Took a little while! I looked right at it but didn't see a thing. Then I moved on and heard a happy cry from B who decided to re - check that spot. He slowly pulled the little fellow out with the aid of a small stick.

If anyone reads this before they attempt the cache, please bring a small replacement logbook because there is no room left in the log and it seems it's hasn't been replaced for years. No maintenance from author it seems.
Amazing area, the view is breathtaking and the rocks are awesome! Really struggled to find this one, but my geo-friend Beau_rl found it in the end. There was a friendly Blue-tongued lizard between a crevice. I'll definitely be back.

The cycle touring duo from Jindabyne failed this one as we became engulfed in night time lack of light and our set up was too far away. Next time....
Wow what a view! We absolutely loved this location and will be sure to come back again. We enjoyed searching for the cache and found that the biggest challenge came after we had located it.
Took eraser and dice and left GEOF Fox #25, GeoRecipe card and a goat.

It was quite dry today so there was no danger of slipping. It was interesting to see some very familiar landmarks from a new perspective. Log book is looking a bit chockas, but we found space near Rabbitto entry back in January 2007 - still a bit of space back there. Log book does need replacing.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt robmc.

Finally got it out after wrestling with it for a few minutes. Lovely view, was only here a few weeks ago for a BBQ. TFTC
lots of climbing muggles today, but they were busy doing their thing, so the area were the cache was supposed to be located was relatively quiet. Considering that this is difficulty 1 cache and that I've looked under every rock near GZ I think this cache may be missing. I hope I'm wrong.
Cool!!! Found by Marks Finders with help from our friend. Lovely spot and what a view. Thanks again.
After what seems like forever since the floods of January / February Suscoe finally made it out here.
A delightful morning of sun and driving rain greeted us and made the visit impressive seeing the rain bands moving across the plains.
A quick find and the signing done, TNLN.
Only us and 3 runners to enjoy the early morning view.

Great cache. Don't know how I found it. Took glitter pen, left a fishing sticker and soft plastic fishing lures. Watch out for Muggles. In need of a new logbook.
Need new log book, good fun cache...on this day all raods and tracks were closed due to water damage...
What a great hide! Thoroughly enjoyed this cache. Great view and amazing waterholes by the aboriginals. Lucky enough to sign the log quickly before muggles arrived. Which we were then lucky enough to hear a ranger talk about the waterholes and how the aboriginals did them. Look a while to find once at GZ, but very enjoyable search. Few stratched but worth it!!
Nice location. You really need thin fingers for this job!!! Left a frog rubber.

Talk about cache with a view!! Did this one with the kids which came in handy as little hands were needed!
I wasn't sure whether to log a DNF or not for this one. My GPSr died upon firing it up nearby, despite it having 1/3 of its battery left when I set off this morning. I spent half an hour transferring the waypoint file to my phone, and then another 20 minutes or so trying to work out where said phone was pointing me. I gave up in the end because it couldn't decide whether I was 6 metres or 8000km away. I'll return sometime down the track with a fully charged battery. Thanks for drawing me to the big rock though.
Visited on beautiful sunny day. Thankful for the great view which we had a chance to check out thoroughly while waiting for many muggles to disappear.
Even though we've been coming here for years we'd have never have guessed that something would be hidden up here. Did not take anything but left a shiny blue thing we found on the walk in.
Thanks!
P.S - The log book was full and I didn't have another one to drop off.

Again on the same 500 run with Son In Law Mr Imapom, & Mrs Imapom, (Daughter) lots of people( Muggles) looking at the fantastic scenery, great spot to hide the cache, again watch the snakes in spring, unable to find this one, never mind , whilce we were searching, daughter prepared a great lunch, just prior to the rains, Mrs one-eyed disappeared to take more photos.

Quite a few muggles around today. One-eyed and my geo-mother-in-law Mrs One-eyed. Mrs One-eyed had to explain Geocaching to a facinated lady muggle.
How seriously cool and clever are the bowls here. Wow. It's not long ago that these would have been in use. Amazing.
Anyway, 3 of us looking. Couldn't find it, even using clue. Bum.

Eventually found and retrieved this cache....... One group of muggles decided a family photo shoot at pretty much GZ was a must so looked around a bit while they organised (or was it tamed?) mini muggles & family shot was taken!
Another one where small hands- minus Pandora bracelet- is needed!
Nice spot for a BBQ & plenty of wood to burn in fireplaces provided- will come back for one before fire restrictions kick in.

Between muggles with dog and muggles with kids it took a little while to get this one.
We finally found it. What a clever spot to put one.
Don't think I would drink from these water "bowls" , the one near GZ was black....

Whilst up that way this weekend for a dog racing event (Alaskin Malamutes) the family and I wandered over to the You Yangs to set a TB free, what a great spot, what a beautiful view, nearly logged a DNF as it is in a really tricky spot persistance pays with this one! thought i'd do a side trip on my way back to the n e after spending the long w/end down south as i've not been to the yangs before.climbing to the top and doing the circuit drive only left me time to do one you yangs cache and this was it. muggles in area but not right at co'rds. spent some time looking but no luck. now that i've referred back to cache page, wish i'd read more logs. it's handy to have a lookout in a high muggle area and i didn't , pretty nerve wracking looking over your shoulder all the time and apparently this one needs more than a cursory search. for next time, cheers.
It was a tricky find, but when it was eventually found it was very satisfying. Great location too!
ty for the cache, a great day to be out bbq-ing with friends around the you yangs
Very nice view, took Mo left safety clip.Found with 6 kids lots of help not. Thanks
Our first attempt saw us waiting for a couple of muggles sitting right where we needed to go so we headed off to do a couple of other caches. On our return the area was finally clear and we made a mad dash for GZ. As soon as we arrived and were about to start clambering up the rocks my son yelled "DAD"! When I went over to him we watched a rather large brown snake (a good 6ft long I reckon) making its way up one of the crevices.......right where my little GPS was telling me to start looking! Mission aborted......we'll come back another day. It was too flamin hot anyway!
We were only BBQing here last week and were none the wiser of how close this was. 2nd You Yangs cache for the day. TFTC. TNLF
searched long and hard this morning and was unable to find before I had to go. lucky for me i only live 10 minutes away, try again soon. Think i have got it!!
This was our second attempt. Found on my wife's birthday with the whole birthday party who were thus introduced to geocaching. Great spot! Did not come prepared so did not take or leave anything.

Found by Bob at 1735
I had two goes at this one today; first time I was on my way to head up the Peak and figured I'd do this first - but a couple of muggle women and their dog were firmly ensconced near GZ and showed no signs of heading off so, after having a bit of a prod and poke without being able to get really serious, I headed off to do the other caches in the park and came back to this one on my way out. The 2nd time and I had the place to myself and, luckily, managed to spot the container very quickly (after my earlier investigation, I feared I might have some trouble with it). It still required me to take off my watch and wedding ring and utilise a stick to be able to wiggle the cache out - but I managed it eventually.
TNLN
Thanks Robmc
PS I think the hint is slightly misleading, although it probably makes little difference in the long run

It's a while since I've been here. I used to come herequite often and climb some years ago. Found the cache on my second attempt for the day. I spent quite a while looking this morning before eventually succumbing to muggle pressure and heading elsewhere. Came back late afternoon, this time with a torch and located it straight off. Would probably never have seen it without the flashlight. An obvious but testy little hide. I needed to use a stick to retrieve it. Log book is full. No swaps made. Many thanks Robmc.

Quiet here today but keep clear on May 9th- there's gonna be big shindig up on the rocks. The cache was hard to spot and incredibly hard to retrieve from its hidy hole.
