A change in my employment means that I wont be out this way a great deal any longer so with the log book getting full it's time to say GOODBYE to GOODBYE GALAXY. Hopefully some local cachers will place another more suitable cache in the gardens soon.
Very easy to find.
TFTH
Hopefully many others find it
Log book also pretty much full and dirty. may need a new one.
Good luck finding,
Thanks,
Camstal & C_B

Wow - what a walk, or should I say a route march. Finding the cache was not all that bad but we had to fight our way through a million ants to get it. Finding our way out again proved to be a little difficult, we decided to keep going when we had found it and look for a different way out of he park. The lack of maps of the park proved to be our problem and we definatly took the long route eventually getting out the way we got in.
The log book needs some work it is saturated after many days of rain.

Will leave this open until next week just in case someone needs to log it. This cache will be relocated & replaced with a regular cache rather than a micro mid next week! WIll check the log book then. {:)}
DNF. This was a nice lush park! I thought it would be fairly dry in Emerald. I was here at 6:45am, so it was nice and cool. Enjoyed the walk around the park. I wasn't able to find the cache in all the long grass. If I had read the hint before I went there, I might have been able to find it. On my way to Cloncurry for the shut at Ernest Henry mine. On to Zinifex at Lawn Hill after that. Thanks for the nice walk and the hunt freaky kwyjibo.
This little micro was always going to be a test of stamina in forty degree heat, but we found our way to GZ OK. Stood in the shade for a while and thought 'backwards' and finally walked to near the cache. Oooooch! That bloody rocks hot. Ah ha, there's the little bugger! Thanks for this one.
This was my third attempt, but another look at the photo was helpful. Thanks for the cache.
Found the cache at 7.15pm. Twice attemp - easy found after good look at picture (hint)! Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.

Well I read all the logs I had and the clue. I still could not locate it, and it was too hot in the sun for me to spend any longer.
Awesome to have found a cache in the town I live! Nice addition to our occasional walk through the botanic gardens. From the description, I knew exactly where to go. When I arrived at the location, it was obvious that the cache was going to be in only a couple of hiding spots. However, I didn't expect to dig a bit for it and got a little perplexed but eventually got it after a few minutes.
By the way, how dry is it in that part of the garden's these days!?!?! I was accompanied by scamp. Thanks!!!

1645 hrs - Found my self in Emerald for work but unfortunately I didn't have my GPS . Read all the logs and decided to give it a crack anyway. Like so many caches, it is all about parking in the right spot. It has a very celestial theme but it is not as obvious as it first might appear. You will need to take a walk in the park. Definitely the smallest cache I found. Signed logbook. TFTC. Cheers TL
we needed the clues to find it and also found the coordinates were actually E 619104 and N 7396635.
cute little cache, love the tiny book!!
PS: Pluto isn't considered a planet these days! lol
(so your kids are right when they say there are only 8 planets!)

We to ended up in the trees but knew from prevoius logs that it wasn't necessarily correct
Reread clues but ended up giving up, the heat was stiffling

I too searched the tree at the coords for a while
Read the clues and still kept searching the tree !
Finally found Pluto (outside the ecliptic plane) and the cache was not far away

Didn't have the spoiler photo onhand. Co-ords put me beside the tree. Couldn't work out which rock you were using for pluto. Nice park. Seem to get to Emerald every few years so we'll get it next time.
The hint was most welcome for Joe Possum and partner. GPS would have us searching beyond the Galaxy in the opposite direction. Loved the log book and what a great place for a cache. We made this a lunch stop on the way to the Gem Fields on Sunday 25 June. No space for swaps.
