Found this one on a wet jog. Huge amounts of rain meant that nobody was around. Could hear the frogs in the distance. Cache in great condition. TFTC
Day 432 ( Tuesday 3rd ) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Meadows today. Off to tackle some of the caches in forest. TFTC
Out hiking with a few friends today. They went on and I nicked off to quickly grab this one before catching up. Given its location thought this one may not have been found for a while but realised that I narrowly davidwazza who was here yesterday... anyway. TFTC
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to Kuitpo with our mountain bikes to ride the Kuitpo / Prospect Hill trails. For a warm-up, we first stopped off at the northern-eastern side of the vicinity around Choorkaloo Camp Site to find a few remaining *Animal Facts* caches and others around the place. We then had a proper session on our mountain bikes, before closing out the day with a short walk in the southern side in Kyeema Conservation Park, and a few drive-by caches between Meadows and Echunga.
It was nice to have found this oldie 07/2006 hidden cache. We made the loop walk into this location, and this cache was found rather quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. The nearby pond was full of water, but we couldn't see or hear any frogs. Thanks TeamHurtle/Hurtle for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/@jesswrigley stamp.

Really nice to find an older cache that needs a short walk from the car. Wondering why its taken me 14 years to find this? I think in the old days I spent too much time with Skippy and Lambchops and never got to find anything that involved a walk more than 10m from the vehicle. Went out with the girls on a Sunday afternoon walk after a bit of rain. I was expecting to hear the frogs but Freddo and his friends were very quiet this afternoon. Maybe the chorus starts around dusk.
Thanks Hurtle for maintaining the cache.

After finding the multi near by, continued into this one, not a lot of water here and definitely no frogs.
Got up early this morning and headed south to collect a few caches before an event in mount barker around lunch time. A good morning out with 65 finds in total.

The poor cache was unfortunately out in the open to the elements, looks like its home suffered from a fire. So I replaced as per the hint with some bark from a neighbouring tree. TFTC
Found by geo-kids on a lovely wintry walk through Kyeema.
No pencil to write in log though.

After completing the nearby multi, I was keen to walk the short gap to this cache.
Finding gz, I was dismayed to find quite a lot of the landscape was burned & no cache was visible.
Not wanting to leave the cache missing I placed a cache (donated by CP) with permission of the CO.
This cache has been on my list for some time.
So thanks for bringing me out here TeamHurtle

Continued on from the nearby multi and found this one to. Came here over 10 years ago as a little tacker with my family (moores@victor) surprisingly I don't remember much of this place but its a very nice location.

I had been looking for ‘A ‘Good’ Spot...’ to cache for the weekend when I was reminded I had walked within a whisker of this one on my Heysen journeys. TFTC
Quick stop for a maint check...
Don't know how the cache keeps getting wet inside, the nearby dam always seems bone dry when I visit!! Go figure.
Anyways, new container, logbook and pencil. Swapped over the frogs and other content. Same place.

A quick find. Sadly, I did not hear the frogs and the logbook was wet, but this is a nice place to do some geocaching. TFTC.
Time is cache in on the caching karma supplied by BratKat again and try and make my calendar have a minimum of 5 finds per day. So today is one of the days needed and what a great day for a drive and some caching anyway.
I have been meaning to do this cache for so long but usually am in a hurry on the way somewhere else when in the area. Today I decided I would stop and so glad I did. It was a pleasant walk to GZ and I soon had the cache in hand. Oops should have read the logs and I could have brought some maintenance material with me. As previously said, water is getting in and the log book is damp and going mouldy. [B)] So I emptied it out, dried what I could and left the log out of the bag to stop the mould. Should come back with some summer sun. [^]

A drive after work to grab a few nearby caches. The weather was awful so I stopped earlier than planned as i was getting logbooks wet by the drizzle.
This cache is in need of help. It is wet, including inside of bag. If fact it has gotten mouldy... yuk. Sorry was unaware it needed some love or I would have brought a container with me.
Thanks to Hurtle from mogni

Cache got wet, easy to find but not near location. Hid a bit more closer to coordinates.
Rode the mountain bike with Baggs71 from Kuitpo HQ to this cache (awesome fun through the XC and firetracks). Found after a brief hunt and signed the log. TFTC Hurtle!
The last time I was near this one (2 years ago), I was part of a Heysen Trail walking group, and didn't have time to stop. This time around I was on my own and had plenty of time to stop and smell the caches.
Easy find. Thanks for the cache, Hurtle

A pretty walk through a pretty conservation park I think I'll be back to try the 5km trail
Found on a great day out with Wal & Ol bike riding to many OTDs in the area. TFTC!
With Pony1966 after a bike ride around Kuitpo, lovely walk in - we went the long way of course, but found the short way back to the car park. No frogs today. TFTC
I was in the area collecting all the non-OTD caches and this one showed on the map. A nice day for a walk in the park along the Heysen Trail. Lots of wildlife around: Ants, Birds, Ants, Grasshoppers, Ants, Lizard, and Ants. No frogs to be seen or heard though.
Thanks for the cache Hurtle. Found on 11 Feb 2017 at 3:38 pm. Find #3876.

out for the day with sir_spectre doing the otd trail, took a detour down here to grab this one.
i dragged out jacknor to the forest in the rain, just a side detour from the otd trail
Out and about with the geo daughter and have missed this cache whilst out in the area previously. Stopped off and a nice enjoyable stroll to GZ. Nice size container
Dropped TB.

Out for a nice drive around Kuitpo to get some of those stray caches that I hadn't got to on my previous visits. Had a very peaceful walk to GZ, not another soul or animal to be seen today. Didn't even hear any frogs, everything is very dry. But I did find a cache.
Thanks for the cache Hurtle.

Nice walk to find this one as the sun was setting.
Found and a trade was done, a frog for a frog.

Easy find, TFTC. And thankyou for the walk in a lovely area, although the day was a bit miserable.
The Geo Daughters 1pinkexplorer and 1funnyhoney had 2 pupil free days. We thought it would be good to go off camping. What better than to go camping where there are lots of caches to find. Had a great time camping at Chookarloo. Loved finding this cache and a few others near by as it meant that we had to go walking in the forest spending time as a family.
Hevwalker12 came out to meet us on the first day (sunday) as there were some caches she wanted help with and to get while she didn't have Geo mutt with her.

It was a gorgeous afternoon walking through the park with the_xtrailers. We found the frogs, signed the log & ventured back to the carpark. TFTC
Out with Tardis Trio and Frog Hoppin' on a much too chilly wet day - but all for a good cause - caching fun!!
This series took longer than we expected - some challenging hides, and a few we had to return to due to us all wearing Mr Tardis Blind goggles from time to time.
But a great series and well worth the effort.
Thank Hurtle for the find.

Mr Tardis was out caching today with froghoppin and Team Scoobster. While out grabbing caches in the area, Mr Scoobster and Mr Tardis walked through the beautiful conservation park to this one. The nearby dam was empty and no noises from any frogs. However with all the rain we received today I think the dam will be full real soon.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache TeamHurtle.

Out for the day knocking off some animal facts with locus cache, ismartis, travellinbees plus geopets brodie and winnie. We went up hills and down hills round bends and over bridges. We seen the fires devastation and the new growth coming back.
Thanks for placing thos cache for us to find.

We had set out for the day to collect these very southern caches for something new to do. We had set off from the North earlier with Locus Cache, and Harleyjohn in tow to get Ismartis and head off to collect some smileys. We all did the boardwalk series first prior to heading into town and down south.
HarleyJohn had a goal to reach 1000 finds while out and about today and he achieved in on day 31! A happy achievement for him.
We met another team on the way and we talked about geocaching
We walked around a bit collecting some other caches and the GEo Pets Winnie and Brodie seemed content with their caching attempts and walk through the forest.
We saw venturers walking through the forest and wearing weird outfits
This was our last cache for the day before ehading back home. We hit the trail head just as dusk was happening, the 7 of us made our way in to locate this cache, and can I say as darkness was fast approaching it made ensuring the path back was very clear. I am sure during heaving rains that little dam would be full of water for frogs to hop in!

Brodie and I set out to do the 8 Animal Facts caches on the boardwalk at Mt Crawford Forest and then the 31 OTDs of January down Kuitpo Forest way.
We were accompanied by travellinbees, Winnie and Harleyjohn2569 for the boardwalk caches and then I picked up Ismartis on our way to the Kuitpo caches.
Final total of 47 smileys for the day and lots of fun!
Right on dusk, we finished the nearby OTD power trail and then this cache was left....all on it's own unfound in a sea of open chests!
I couldn't leave and not get this one too, so dogs and owners came for a lovely stroll in the bush to find us some frogs...and we did!
Our last cache for the day with travellinbees, Winnie and Harleyjohn2569 as they headed for home while Ismartis and I got a few more caches on our journey to my auntie's at Strathalbyn before we, too, ran for home.
All in all, a fun way to spend a day! [^]

Was picked up by locus cache & brodie at 12pm and with Travelling Bees, Harley John and Winnie in another car we headed down south to do the new OTD January series .
Stopped at a great little bakery on south road to pick up some lunch and then on we went to the series location.
We had just finished the series and this cache was nearby so we couldn't leave the area without finding it.
A little walk as it was getting dark to finish clearing out this area and a nice cache found.
We said goodbye to Travelling Bees and Harley John here and then it was just one more for me & locus cache as we made our way to Strathalbyn to visit the lovely Auntie Yvonne

A very pleasant summers day and not too many commitments meant time for finding a few caches.
We packed a BBQ lunch and 'headed for the hills' from our current digs in McLaren Vale. After finding a few hides in the nearby Kuitpo Forest we drove to this lovely area, cooked a delicious lunch and then grabbed this beauty.
I must admit geohubby had to drag me away from this one....I have been collecting frogs all of my adult life (now a senior) so I had to jamb my hands in my pockets and leave the cache contents alone
Not too much water around for the frogs at present.
Many thanks for the hide Hurtle[^][^][^]

We headed off in a different direction today and didn't bring our frog collection for this cache, we saw this one ages ago and for some reason whenever there was a frog in a cache as a swap we kept swapping thinking"that will be good for the Kyeema Frogs cache" so our collection grew.
As usual terrain 1.5 turned into higher, we didn't see the track in as there was about 10 people set up having a BBQ and drinks right on top of the entrance, so did about half through the bush then we came across the track, (better late than never, haha).
Found the cache, a bit exposed saw it before we got to GZ, signed the log and tucked away safe and sound.
Thanks Hurtle for the cache and for the wander through the bush, and oh yes we took the track back to the car.
