Yes, it looks like someone who doesn't like us geocachers having fun, has taken Daffyd.

I will try and set another one on its way soon.

Thank you to all who has helped move him around for me.

Arrived back after our Oz tour today to check this cache.

This one has gone. Hopefully it is not like others, which appear to have been systematically removed, not muggled.

This one may be replaced later.

21-Nov-09
Had a very good look at the location calculated, searched every bush, blade of grass or log but couldn't find it and gave up to go home and play guitar hero! From other logs looks like this has been muggled? Can the owner confirm?

23-Oct-09
Have searched for this cache before and it was the same today, no sign of it anywhere. I have already retraced the clues and got the same GZ both times so I believe we are searching in the correct location. Have placed this on on the watchlist and won't try again until the cache has been confirmed to be OK. KemS

Like "The Skellys" we looked & looked, then double checked our calculations but no sign of the cache Sad

15-Aug-09
We looked & looked, then double checked our calculations & looked some more. Very certain we were in the right spot, but no sign of the cache. Will check here again the next time we ride past.

First cache of the day for me and a multi I had wanted to do for a while. Being familiar with the story of the scorpion and the frog I was expecting something else here, but I managed to collect the required info after recounting one question. Being early and a bit wet the place was empty today, much to my relief.

A fun little park to visit, I'm sure the juniors would love this place.

Thanks,

R - B

This is quite a tricky place to get at if you're unfamiliar with the area. Nice park though I'm a bit uncomfortable lurking suspiciously. round playgrounds

10-Oct-07
Found by edmil (maddie was at work). This was a cache that had been hanging around for a while and I wanted to get it off my list. I arrived at the intial waypoints and managed the tasks. There weren't many people at the location but there was still one little girl who said - mummy what's that man doing? I smiled and looked very official with my counting and note taking. After looking at the math I wasn't too confident but it worked. I had the cache in hand in not time. I signed the log and replaced the cache. No swaps were made. Thanks for the cache.

22-Sep-07
Due to misplaced self-confidence I ended up going astray ("I'm a maths person so therefore I know exactly what sort of shape that star thing is and so the number of times it touches the ground must be ... " well, wrong! (next time I will observe and COUNT instead of assuming!)). Having realised the error of my ways I decided to return to the first way point but on my way back I spottoed two suspicious looking characters lurking. I introduced myself to VKC1SR, and, after they had left (since being watched by someone who knows where it is seems to induce cache-blindness) I found the cache. As it turns out we were all on the way to the South East Meet-n-Greet event cache. TNLNSL.

22-Sep-07
The 1st of 9 for the day on our visit to South East Meet n Greet. Found at 9.45. An easy find in a greta spot. Spotted by SAMCARTER at GZ.

3 of 3 today. We went earlier today and solved the co-ordinates but there were too many muggles around to make the grab. So we walked down this evening to make the find.

First of 5 finds for the day with Skyfox and the nephews. Took penny, left photo frame. Not too hard to find and not prickly at all.

21-Feb-07
Was very careful with finding and using the clues and soon had a likely gz. Unfortunately I took too much notice of a couple of previous finders comments about "prickly" and spent a few minutes looking in wrong places before finding it easily in no such place at all! And I was still pulling out prickles an hour later grrr..... TNLN and thanks to pandpp for another good cache today.

27-Jan-07
Found by Winchy at 4.25pm - thought we'd head out for "quick find" before NSW based friends came to stay!! Not to be with a few muggles around.....found after muggles were all played out. Well hidden and very prickly. Definately a "prick of a find". Took Green car and left Butterfly. TFTC.

12-Jan-07
Another find by my son. His maths was a little off, lucky dad there to correct it!! Took ball left the last penny

Another one completed in the dark. There's a few prickly places at GZ but avoided them and found the cache after a short search and thanks to an accurate GZ.
Again TNLN but many thanks again.

18-Oct-06
The Scorpion must be the bushes I walked into, and we heard The Frog as we walked across the playing field.
Nice playground. Lucky it was dark, otherwise it would have been packed.
Weren't too certain on the number of poles, but we found it so it must have been correct.
Thanks, Robmc.

16-Oct-06
Searched accompanied by GeoDano and the GeoMrs as navigator and scribe. Another lovely park geocaching brought us to. GeoDano enjoyed the facilities while I did the maths. Unfortunately I could not locate the stash.

17-Sep-06
A visit to a quiet little park soon turned to a game of hide and seek as we tried to find and log this cache. Within 5 minutes of arriving we had joggers, people on pushbikes, kids at the playground and people on horseback. It was a very busy little place. Found the cache without too much hassle and managed to exchange the swaps.

Logged at 0945 hours.

In pelican magnet & TB pandemonium.
Out Mondo.

TFTC pandpp.

Found by Bob at 1545

I visited this spot quite recently in pursuit of a wp for another cache, and thought it was a rather nice stretch of parkland. Today I was able to get a look at a bit more of it, which was rather pleasant. The cache was a nice quick find thanks to excellent coords.

Found at 12.12PM on a nice sundays afternoon of caching.
1st of 13 for the day.

I remember the old cache that used to lay in this park a while ago, this time being a much easier to do cache I enjoyed the area and found the cache with relative ease. Only one muggle on his bike came past today.

Thanks for the cache from M.B.

Fourth of fifteen finds for the day in company with acts2youthgroup. There were no ankle-biters about at this time of the morning, so we were able to gather the information at the first three waypoints. I still can't work out why this cache was so named. We saw neither scorpions nor frogs. [?] However, we did find the cache at 0925. Thanks to pandpp for the cache.

IN: Table tennis ball
OUT: Cathay Pacific lanyard and the Embi #6 Geocoin

04-Jun-06
Foundat 11.40am GAFF2. This was supposed to be a quick tour and find as we were on our way home from the city and then needed to get ready to go out for lunch by 12.15pm. So what do we do? - we muck up the Star question! So after about 30 minutes searching in the wrong area, we went back to the playground and spotted our mistake straightaway and we were then on our way. Thanks pandpp for a good little walk in a nice park Took: Star, Left: Rubber ball.

02-Jun-06

After gathering the answers I headed to GZ. After one lap to let the GPS settle, I made a foray in and was able to find the cache soon afterwards. No exchange was made.

Thanks, Panpp, for the cache.

27-May-06
This is the first time that I've been to this park, it seems to be frequented by a lot of people but I was still able to gather the required information easily and headed off to gz for a quick easy find

Thanks PANDpp for the cache and showing me this park

I noticed this one after lunch, with an hour and a half before the kids due out of school there was plenty of time and it would have been if i could read properly.
The cache was in my hands and signed at 3.17 and i still made it home before the kids did. The co-od's were spot on and once i fixed the minor error that had me seaching 500mt's away everything was great.
Thanks to pandpp for the cache,
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "Doh that took longer than it should have" Clan.
