Looked for ages!!

17-Nov-07
With another DNF, visited the cache site today to see if cache was still there. Couldn't find any sign of the cache or contents in the vacinity so presume it has been muggled for the third time. The area has become rather tatty so I will achive this cache site shortly and list a new one nearby.

16-Nov-07
nice park and walk. think we looked in right spot but no luck finding it.

10-Nov-07
Great attempt to intergrate unsightly pylons into landscape - Jnr & Mr B located general area easily enough but a thorough search with help of the clue turned up nothing - Mr B fairly confident he looked in the right spot, who knows, sometimes you just don't get them!

I thought I knew where it was so I found the car park easily, then we had an easy walk to GZ and Mrs Nzcarey found the cache quickly.

Took a mini parachute and a Canada geocoin, and left carabiner keyring.

As Yankee in NZ said we drove arround for a while finding the entrance but a nice find and a short walk on a sunny day

13-Oct-07
18:25 We had a ton of 'fun' looking for the entrance to this park, the GPS had us going all over the place trying to get us close to the cache. Finally found the entrance and had no trouble finding the right place, had a bit of fun finding the exact location of the cache, but found it withing 5 minutes.

Found this after dropping mudblood off at the airport to fly home. Wanted to grab it as we are normaly in Christchurch for sport and have never bothered to try.
Thought we would be safe today and we did get it and hide without too much muggle trouble. Was very surprised at the number of dog walkers out and about. Each time one left another arrived.

29-Sep-07
That was a lot easier now there is somthing to find.
The park was totaly muggle free which is really suprising for the time of day.
Thanks for checking and replacing so quickly
Cheers,
S.T.

If anyone finds the old cache please let me know as I have hidden a new 200ml camo sistema cache container and dropped in a geocoin. PLease take care rehiding the cache as there is not quite as much cover as there used to be.

Really is time to think what I want to do for my 100th as this was #98!
Easy find, ETrex took me straight to it. Like the abstract art (not often I say that, not usually a fan of abstract), very surprised at the size of the park also, I had no idea!

Our last cache for the trip - an easy find in beautiful parkland. If this was Perth, I'm sure it would have been built out by now. TN, L: calling card, SL. Thanks for the cache.

04-Oct-06
The buckets of rain turned into a sunny but windy day, so I thought it would be nice to go to the park to find the cache. I can see the potential for a lot of dog walking muggles, but today the park was quiet. TNLN. Thanks!

01-Oct-06
The hardest part was finding an entrance to this park. Great cache, thanks.

24-Sep-06
Blowing a cold southerly, so did stick around for long. Wrote McPossums name in properly, but didn't have a spare pencil in my bag-o-cache tricks. TNLN. Thanks.

18-Jul-06
Sneaked off from work to do this on the way back from the Airport. It took way longer than I expected - due to the time it took to find the entrance. It is so ridiculous to have so many houses, yet so few entrances to a nearby park.
Nonetheless, both me and the dog got a good walk.
TNLN, thanks.

10:50am, #6 of day 4 of our week in Chch (that's 54 to date). Biggest problem for us out of towners was finding the entrance to the park! Interesting leaning stones, and nice walk in the park.

Ha! Lots of little soccer players today, maybe future giants - who knows?! Found the cache easily as it was away from the game about to be played. No exchange made. Cheers Gav [872]

1140. We had just been at the hospital sorting out Rodney's treatment options - the Doctor said, "Just keep doing normal activities." So, what could be more normal than geocaching. Luckily there was this unfound cache sitting here that wasn't going to take too much energy or stretch too many muscles. We had scouted this park out a long time ago when we were doing our Avon river series but even so it took us a bit of winding and turning before we found the entrance! We enjoyed our walk amongst the giants. Thanks very much for the cache - we needed that today!
+ TB - just managed to fit it in!
Thanks

As I was coming from the north I found myself driving past the open sportsground - but how to get in?? It took some winding around (not having a detailed suburban streetmap!!) through pleasant housing to find an entrance. GPS was spot on, no need for a hint at all. But where did they get those huge rock pillars from?? Could go well in my garden - or add a few more and remake Stonehenge!! No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(509)

First FTF for a long time. I had to forego watching "Dancing with the Stars", and walk under the stars to find the cache. Damp air sure does make the hum quite loud!!
It only seemed right when you found one of ours today, that I should find one of yours. Thanks for the outing.
