Collected some trash with Canyonero enroute finding caches!
Litterbugs, litterbugs everywhere.

Well there was certainly a heck of a lot of rubbish to be found as we found caches. Hopefully the area will look a bit better for a while.

Did our bit to keep the countryside clean while attending the Cap Under Event

Thankfully, I sent the kids out to collect the rubbish. We could easily have spent as much time collecting rubbish as competing.

Happy to help clean up a great bit of SA. I wish we could get away from Yank terminology. We don't have 'trash' in Australia!

Picked up plenty of rubbish on the old dirt tracks, good to see that the town it self was relatively clean.

Grabbed a few bags whilst at CCC. Especially from "Astro La Vista, Baby" tunnel.!!!

Bags of rubbish and I still haven't cleaned out the car.

Stanleys have done their bit and helped clean up this already clean town. we found it hard to find enough rubbish at times, but eventually filled a bag a day.

Built the Event bonfire with the rubbish we pulled out of the creek!

Thanks to Team Piggy’s new 4WD traction controlled trotters, a lot of wood was pulled out of the creek. Another local thought they too would get in on the act of bonny building. A truck turned up (twice) and dumped full loads of highly volatile olives and other local rubbish. We had told them about the cache in trash out, so they trashed out.

Sweet warmish Mead helped us keep our bums warm while we tanned our faces.

Rubbish was definately collected. Good to see them bins filling up! You need to be careful what you pick up around Kapunda though - some of it may be called antique now [:o]

Yep, there was certainly a lot of rubbish out there ... and some nasty wire too but in the country there's bound to be some.

With such a large attendance at the Cap Under Event, this activity was always going to be a success. Like all the other teams we duly collected our two bags full, and the Kapunda district is looking much the better for it. Our thanks to Freddo and team for adding to the incentive to give something back to the local community.

Not sure if I'm supposed to log this as a 'find' or an 'attended'. There's some shonkylogic somewhere in the gc system.

We assisted on both days of the event removing roadside rubbish.
