Logs
Austria is hunting for caches in Australia. Thank you for placing and maintaining these caches. I had a lot of fun.
Cache is nearly destroyed due to broken container and thus water contamination and mold. Cache appearance not as stated in the description, but in the correct place. We happened to have a viable water tight container and are replacing it. Incredible views. Enjoyed the hike.
!!! Cache needs maintenance, log book wet and box destroyed !!!What a nice hiking area! Thanks for guiding us here.tftc m-u-t
Great spot!Found while walking the beautiful coastal path.Box is broken and the log is damp. But fantastic location!
Beautiful view and much cooler today and bit windy Thank u for bring me here and had a good long long walk around national park
The cache container is split and has a hole in it. There are also several sodden logbooks, although I have added a new logbook in a seqaled bag that will hopefully last for a while.
#5663Mathsnuts are over from the UK visiting the inlaws. After spending some time with them in Brisbane and at Springbrook, we have now headed up to the Noosa area for a couple of nights. We were lucky to find a parking space by the visitor's centre and walked around the head. We completed the adventure lab stages on the walk out, then looked for other caches on the way back, including this one. I could see a couple of footpaths marked on my map so was surprised when Mr Maths said that they were either side of this gully. It was clear where I needed to go for the cache though, so I carefully picked my way down and the coordinates took me straight to the cache. It wasn't as described, there was no bag and it was a smaller container than listed. Over the top of it was the broken remains of a larger lid, with several broken pieces lying around, so I removed all of those to put in the recycling. I had a spare logbook with me so I put that and some swag into a sturdy ziploc bag as the several logbooks in the cache were all sodden. I noticed that the container is broken as well, but I didn't have spare, so a new container would be really useful. I took the TB to return to the UK. TFTC
After our walk along to Dolphin point, we did this one on the walk back. Our son found the broken box and the wet booklet but was stil able to write our name.TFTC to wishuwell for keeping our hobby going.
First cache in Australia! Beautiful views of the Noosa lagoon, great spot for sunset. TFTC
Quite an extreme location, we werent sure if that was the right trail but followed it anyway. Be very careful near GZ. A really nice view though, TFTC
Out exploring with da Bush Family at the Noosa Head. Awesome views and a great hike! TFTC
Up in Qland to escape Wintery Victoria with LittleBoss2. We've now got LB2's daughter and partner into our game, Chonchi n Chachi.Great walk out to this, then along the beach, and a short scramble up the rocks to an easy find. Sadly all 3 log books are soaked. But it doesn't take away from the view. Thanks for bringing us here
Thank you for the cache, first cache in Australia Introduced a friend to geocaching, hope he keeps going!
Today we took a nice trip along the hiking trails and also passed the cache here. As we had informed ourselves beforehand, we brought a new can with us. We searched out the contents of the old one as everything was completely soaked and muddy. Unfortunately, there were no key rings with us. The logbook is still a bit wet, unfortunately we didn't have any paper to hand.
Gefunden. Etwas abseits des Weges, somit nicht jedermanns Sache. Vor Ort aber gut zu finden. Schne Aussicht. Am Wanderweg in der Nhe ist sehr viel los. Danke fr den Cache Found. A bit off the beaten track, so not everyone's cup of tea. But easy to find on site. Nice view. There's a lot going on on the hiking trail nearby. Thanks for the cache
Love this walk! Cache needs some attention, plastic deteriorated and wet inside.
After reading the previous logs, I was quite worried the log would ne completely soaked after the heavy rain last night. Fortunately it was dry on the back side.nice placement, TFTC.
Managed a carpark in the National Park we were here to collect 2 oldies while up the not so Sunny Coast today.Found and hadnt read logs prior to finding, otherwise wouldve bought a replacement, but great to see this oldie still in play
On my coastal walk I found this cache after a short search. The box ist still there, but in a bad shape. The container ist broken and everything ist really wet in there.TFTC geovi
Today in the late afternoon, we did a walk around Noosa Hill. Of course we had to look for this one during the hike. The box was found rather fast, but is in a bad condition. Box and cover are defect. So, I didn't leave my TB here.TFTCacheld
While walking towards Hells Gate we had time to look for this one. Easily spotted. Tftc
Found at 12:46My phone showed a track looping around the cache that didn't seem to exist. A little trail did lead me down though. The container has become brittle in the sun and is a little worse for wear. It could do with a refresh. Thanks wishuwell for the cache
Found while on a walk in the National Park. Got some great drone shots nearby as well! TFTC
went to the fairy pools and it started pouring! the container could use a replacement.
Life is good. We visited the fairy pools today and it was great. We are here from Melbourne for Schoolies and having a great time but this has been the best day so far because the views and pools were amazing. TFTC! - Amy and Em
#5.910Quick walk off the path and an easy find. The container is broken and wet inside. But the logsheets are well protected in their zip-log.TFTC says team mastba from Hamburg/Germany
a really nice spot. the box had a bit of water inside it, but most pieces seemed fine. tftc!
Visiting from Uk for a wedding and we were talked into a hike to fairy pools for a dip so could hardly say no. Just getting around to logging now. Was a stunner of a day and we loved the walk - kids couldn't wat to get an ice cream on the return. TFTC
found on our short stay in Noosa, the path was teaming with muggles despite being early. Overshot by a bit exposed but container good , thankfully after finding path down it was a fairly quick find, great location...Hello from Canberra
Tftc! Cache could use a new container but was surprisingly dry in spite of the missing corner. Left some swag and pathtags!
A short climbing and I could catch the box. Sunset and dinner at Noosa Heads were just glamorous! TFTgreatC

AtTheLakeHouse and I spent Tuesday hiking 11km's around Noosa National Park. We were looking for caches, enjoying the beautiful day and racking up some kilometers. We started at Sunrise Beach and headed north, then completed the circuit by going inland. We had a fantastic day. We saw lots of whales, which were very diverting and an added bonus for the gorgeous day that we had. We started at around 10:45 and finished around 5:15. It was a big day.ATLH had found this cache previously, so she waited on the trail and left me for the find. It was an easy find, however the cache container has seen better days and there was water inside. I drained the water out as best I could. Log was okay due to the extra protection.Hopefully the next finder, or the CO, might read this log and might replace the 1L Systema.TFTC wishuwell.
such a sick cache. bit of water but nothing too bad. no keyrings just junk mostly :/ tftc!
Found it not to risky two tracks Lew inside taking them to the uk. Thanks.
Find 8 of 12 with 2 DNFs on a beautiful winter's day for touristing all over from Maleny/Montville, down to Mooloolaba and up to Noosa, then back.
More AdLabs than caches today. This was one of the few real ones. A nice secret spot for some special geocacher-only views along the coastline. Thanks for placing one here!
Took one TB. Left 2.

Thankfully wasn't in the position we feared and although you go a little "off road" to get it it wasn't as scary as it could've been! Container has a hole in the bottom but otherwise all good, set our new trackable free to see where it goes from here!
Exciting little trail away from the main trail, our 10yo was very thrilled to go here.
Thanks for the cache, took 1 TB

Tftc lovely view visiting from England! Left a little treasure, please move on.
Scrambled down here to sign our names on this larger than expected cache. Tftc!
The terrain rating score felt higher for us today trying to prevent four bumbling young boys from toppling over the cliff! TFTC!
Grabbed this on way back from walk with 14 family members while at Moolooloba on holiday. We saw a turtle and a pod of dolphins at Hell's Gates. See pic. TFTC.
I was on a 5 day roadtrip with Marcussjd9. After stopping for lunch, we headed out for a variety of caches.
Today was the last day, so we headed for a stroll around Noosa point. As we wandered around we spotted Dolphins, Whales, Turtles and this cache (but no koalas)

Found it off the rugged path from the main paved trail. First entered from beach but it is closer to the trail. TFTC.
We are on our long-awaited journey around the world in 99 days. Second try after canceling in 2020.
Our fourth stop after Los Angeles, Hawaii and New Zealand is Australia.
This time was of course used to find some geocaches here.
Today we were searching for the Traditional **#1 Keyring Cache at Noosa**
Thank to the Hint and the good coordinates the little box was found quickly!
After signing the logbook there is a new smile on our geocaching map!
At least we would like to take this opportunity to thank wishuwell for creating and maintaining this Traditional.
Greetings from Nuermberg/Germany

P.S. To save space in the logbooks, we not only enter in sequence, but also in empty spaces between.

Regarding our hike, we set out on this walk departing from the trailhead at 14:20 hr. We ended up walking a total distance of 10.3 km across an elevation of 228 m, with a moving time of 2:20 hr and elapsed time of 2:55 hr, as per my [Strava record](https://www.strava.com/activities/9013672419). The headland walk was fantastic, with scenic and geologically interesting beaches. Paradise Caves were also awesome to see and explore.
Regarding this geocache, it took five or so minutes of scurrying around this small peninsula to find this geocache. I was probably searching higher terrain spots before eventually making the find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Interestingly, I wasn't the first visitor today, as there looks like others had been here today. I did wonder what time that they were here, and whether I had missed them by minutes or hours? Thanks wishuwell for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 05/2006 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest yet active geocaches.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/[jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) stamp.

During this extended weekend, [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I stayed in Noosa Heads. On Friday, we hiked in Noosa National Park visiting Boiling Pot, Dolphin Point, Fairy Pools, and Hell's Gates. On Saturday, I attended the local parkrun followed by a kayak paddle of Lake MacDonald whilst attending the [Four Mountains, Four Directions](https://coord.info/GCA5T0A) event, and then we visited the River Entrance Beach on Noosa Spit towards the north-west in the afternoon. Finally, on Sunday morning, we had breakfast on Hastings Street and then did a small walk in Noosa Heads, before driving back home.
Today, we left across lunch and drove to Noosa so that we could hike Noosa National Park in the afternoon. We walked the Coastal Walk track whilst completing the [Noice Noosa](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/15662aca-4ddc-40d1-be73-bb2eecd6566b) Adventure Lab. We then had just enough light left to grab dinner and check-in to our accommodation for the weekend.

Magnificent conditions at dawn here today. Lots of surfers, runners and walkers like me. At last I had the opportunity to leave the track up top and follow the obvious trail down and right to the old cache.
The sistema is now getting frail so if a visitor could bring a new 1L box, that would be great.
The logbook has plenty of space left and I was delighted to retrieve a familiar TB.
TFTC where all is fine. The visit here is well worthwhile.
