This could be the end for this one unless I can find a new spot which is muggle proof.
I am pretty sure this one is MIA.
Had the place to myself for abour 30 min. Had an idea from hints I had gotten elswhere. Looked and looked, did the required acrobatics, and found a chunk of bitumen left where I think the cache was supposed to be.
If it is gone, I will be sad, as the rememberence G.C. that I brought to Australia is now missing

No luck today, but now reading previous logs I am sure that I was in the right place but didn't search enough, another day.
The clue made this one easy to find. Had to be sneaky with this one as a couple were nearby having lunch. Nice park. TFTC. TNLNSL.

Easy cache (Thanks to the clue) only saw one cockroach so got off lightly. One muggle drinking the day away, but judging by number of beer bottles he won't remember our visit. Took coins, left kiddies erasers. TFTC
Thanks for the clue on this one as I may not have looked there.
The storm that went through here must have rivalled the Nov 08 storm.
Thanks for another clever ruzzelz cache.

I popped in today to grab a new TB I've been chasing and I dropped off a GC.
Great hide this one!! also another great piece of history ruzzelz, the photos in the links are amazing.
(no cockroaches??)
cache in good condition
left tb.

I was glad I had DisSister along to retrieve this one for two reasons - a) a matter of 15 cm; and b) because she's the one who had the cockroach crawling on her hand!!
Luckily some muggle kids left the playground just as we got there.

Eeek! Cockroaches!! I wish I had read the previous log before heading out to find this one so I would have been mentally prepared for the horrible little critters. Nearly died of the shock. I really hate cockroaches. Apart from that, it was quite an enjoyable time. The cache was found surprisingly quickly and the geokids had a great play on the playground. I've driven past here quite a few times but never bothered to stop. Thanks for giving me the excuse.
[Aha!
Got it this time.]
Had to use a little stealth in climbing the tree >< There were some curious kids on the playground

[This cache has been my nemesis. It's with great pleasure that we can now claim a smiley and cross this one of the list. There are limited options near GZ so we just persevered until we had success. I could not have retrieved the cache without the assistance of Aussie DVD.]
One of the cachers at last night's event suggested that I may be a little vertically challenged for this cache. That's quite an understatement!
[But it's all good fun. Took TB. TFTC and the smiley!!]

Looked and looked high and low, even sent the kids up a tree or two. Will have to try again later.
Found this one today and replaced the damaged cache.
Left a TB and some assorted items.

Couldn't find this one in either the darkness or early morning light. Thought I was onto something but no success
Stood there looking around for couple of minutes, then it dawned on me.
Yep found where i thought it would be, but bag is broken and log is very wet, needs some TLC. Scribbled in my log gently.

This one might need a more durable cache container or at the very least a new log book - I didn't have anything on me as I was on the way home from a few errands and getting the groceries and wanted to get this one off the list.
If I had a dollar for every time I'd been to try and find this cache i'd be $5 richer now! (I probably should have logged more DNFs for it but I didn't have the heart).
Today I was in luck and finally spied the spot I had missed so many times before.
However, the plastic bag inside was broken and the log saturated so scratching my name was a little tricky - TNLN, TFTC.

The waterproofing spray I applied to my caching shoes recently doesn't work . Found the cache though after looking at it differently this time, and presto! And walked away happy . SL. Thanks Ruzzelz.
Mrs Lat&Long had her phone at hand for this one. Triple 0 was only a twitch away as I attempted to retrieve what I thought was the cache. Lucky for me I was considering my next move when ... hey, here it is. Got a stern look but it all ended in smiles as we signed the log and put the cache back were it was found. Terrain 2??? Please don't ever set up a terrain 5 cache, "ruzzelz". I know I'd attempt it, but I'm sure it will end in tears .
All I can say is that I am glad Geo-husband was with me as I certainly coundn't have retrieved this one. TFTC
Clever hide, just like ADV says, nearly missed some close caches. I liked this one, found by torch, and luck!
Cheers buddy.

Last one for the day and very close to where we were staying. One of a few in the area we nearly missed simply because they were so close we keep on leaving "till tomorrow", and nearly ran out of tomorrows. Interesting info and hence a great name for the cache.

Looked and looked for a good while. Had an "Aha!" moment but unfortunately no find today. I'll try another day after a bit of a rethink. Thanks.
I went to set up a new cache only to find the original was still exactly where it should be. I had checked up on this a couple of weeks ago and obviously did not look hard enough
Search and searched. Clue made no sense to us? Reading through the logs after giving up, I think we looked in the spot but will double check if we get a chance.
Nice quick find at 0910hrs. I could see the hiding place as I approached but I was wondering about my abilities to retrieve the little devil.

I was probably staring right at it. But do you think we could find it. Not today. It's been one of those afternoons - more DNFs than finds. TFTH anyway.
I was here on January 28th ( I think I worte 29th in the log).
Took me a little while to find it.

I was having trouble working out which side of the water this was on and my first guess was wrong as that would have been to easy. I tried the other side and seemed to be looking for ages until I finally looked up and saw something out of place.

Dropped in to see if the cache was OK. Thanks "mastamak" you located the correct spot to return the cache.

Found at 0944 after a short search It was raining a bit so after loging my visit I was on my way. A note for the owner I found the cache on the ground in plain view under the tree I was searching. It appeared that it had fallen or dropped there, I placed the cache in a fork of the tree wher I found it. I am not sure where it was hidden so you may want to check on it.
We have tried to do this cache on a few other occasions but unsuccessfully. Today it was no problem to find. Thanks ruzzelz
This was my first cache for the morning, so I was disappointed when I couldn't find it. I then went out and did a half dozen other caches and thought I would have one more crack at this one. Found it. Yippee. Tough hide.
Thanks ruzzelz for the cache. TNLN.

#5 of 32 finds in Brisbane on day one of a big weekend's caching, in company with The Garner Family and HawMorFords. I found this one at 1115. This would have taken considerably longer to find had I not had some help along with me. It's a sneaky hide, deserving of the 2.5 difficulty. I made no exchange. Thanks to ruzzelz for the cache. Cheers, dak.
This cache has been a pain in the rear for us. 1st visit was very overcast, and couldn't get a good reading near the trees. On the 2nd visit we were pretty sure we knew where it was, but a ginormous spider was sitting guard, and didn't feel like blindly grabbing it. Finally found by Mongy while he was doing a cache hide run. Glad to have it off the list!
hey i think your cache has been mugled cause be couldn't find it twice.
BTW is the clue reffering to the red rooster sign

After getting to the right side of the creek, I was wandering in circles for a while. No cache. Quick call to the Rastas hotline (caching far south at the time) revealed how to approach the cache location. Quick find after. No muggles. TFTC
I kind of wish I'd seen the mayhem! It was quite peaceful today, very few muggles around, but no helpful footprints at all. I managed to find it nonetheless, though there are times I wish I had go-go-gadget arms! TFTC. ='.'=
This park is popular with some of the elderly who visit it for morning tea and a read of the newspaper. Luckily they were the only visitors there today as we managed to grab, sign and return the cache. Thanks ruzzelz.
Finally found this one...well caughtatwork found it, displaying some athletic prowess we did not know he possessed ! The footprints gave this one away in the end. TNLNSL.
Thanks for the interesting story & links. This event occurred before we moved up here from Melbourne, so we weren't even aware of it. Scary.

A much better experience at this cache location. I walked right up to the cache and had it in a few minutes while The Mini Mob were at the next possible location.
Took nothing, left nothing.

Even though we thought we had the right tree because of the shoe marks visible and a neat hiding spot no cache was found. Thanks ruzzelz
Well both geohusband and geowife had the same idea today, take some time off work to find the cache location!!
Geohusband found it earlier in the day while geowife found later in the afternoon. I guess we are addicted!!
Left: rock
Took: fish
Only find today!!

Went on a Night time Geo Caching adventure with Urdera got to this cache with daylight but were un successful in locating the cache, will return again with more light and time!
Unable to find on our hunt with furry camel were a little confused by the clue but will be back at daylight.
You have such fun caching at times. I know we all look a little perculiar at times when caching but I now think Mrs Nanks and I must look very strange. You see there was a quite strange little man right in the road of our path to this cache. Righto we thought we will just sit there on the grass near to the cache and reassess. We only got to sneak one little peak at our strange little man and he had walked off already. So .... are we the strange ones or is he????? I can't decide. Anyhow after some circling I got brave and attacked what I thought looked like the likely spot. TA DAHH cache in hand. Was quite proud!! Unsure if we are all strange looking as we geocache but .... proud! Thanks for the great hiding spot.
I was accompanied by Psycho sue from the MadMyers for this find. It was a hoot! I actually did an "If" at this cache and lay down on the ground for a different perspective. Unfortunately that didn't help as Sue had sprung into action and retrieved the cache from its hiding place before I could really get comfortable.
We signed the log and returned to the car past the odd fellow that probably thought we were relatively odd too!
Thanks Ruzzelz

This cache was find number 78 of 102 finds I did with Dtay for our record attempt on Saturday 18 November 2006.
We were here at 17:28 hours.
A couple were having a picnic nearby, but suitably uninterested in us so we could hunt this cache. Having done monkey earlier in the day, Dtay was quick to further his skills in this department. A quick find next to peaceful little creek - hard to picture it as a raging torrent.

Found by Sunshine Toledo at approx. 2pm. This is my 2nd try at this one. I spent 40 minutes there and stood under every tree for about 5/10 minutes looking for a clue as today was very overcast and I wasn't getting any good readings. Then I saw a sign on a tree that shouldn't have been there. Feet had left a mark. I then had it in hand. TNLNSL and just glad I can cross it off.
Found on second visit. First time I tried from memory without GPS. Unfortunately without any luck. Better luck this time. I did not log the book as muggles arrived, but positive id of container, and I will return sometime to log.

I had this one left over as a DNF from my big day out, so with no further preparation, and less equipment, I headed for this one again. GPS was a tad more stable this time, and being early evening, muggle worries were not a problem. Confirmation this time of the correct side of the creek, but still about 15 minutes of searching. Again, it seems, just as we were about to give in, I checked one last spot, which of course, held the cache. Found at 7.15pm. TFTC

Thanks for the reminder of an event I had forgotten. GPS didn't like this spot either but the clue helped (visually but not physically). TFTC
This one was a great cache location. Reading the comments by ruzzelz on the 15th made it a fairly easy cache, apart from team weroamin both being over 50. Another one that might need a new log book ruzzelz. Thanks for this one and for the history lesson, exactly what we enjoy about caching.
Called in to check this made it through the school holidays and top up the cache suplies.

Had to pull the pin as parked in road near car dealer which alerted security-muggles, so only had a few brief minutes to search on North side of creek...
Didnt find this one. Searched both sides of the creek, but was concerned by muggles both at the car dealership, and the picnic tables in the park, so we pulled the pin on this one pretty quick.

Oh dear...It pays to read the clue some times doesnt it... Looked low and low!.. and didnt find it....
15:00hrs Not a single muggle in sight, plenty of passing motorists however. The clue was a necessity to help me find this one. TFTC.
Very good hide Ruzzels. Not a lot of muggles today and the cache is secure although the plastic bag is getting a little tatty. We found this in about 5 minutes. The clue is very good. TFTC TNLN

It's always frustrating to not be able to find a cache that's in full view! Oh well...just blame the GPS or perhaps the fading light. We'll be back!
How annoying .I pretended to be a plant expert while these oldies were looking at me and when they finally left ,I still had no luck .Did the clue have anything to do with the fast food place or what ????Mrs Happyharry found it so why couldnt I ???? I will be back to check on the health of those trees !
