Got to this one before taking a look at the logs. Disappointing found the lost likely spot, but of course nothing there but an empty hole.
I concur. There are not too many spots to hide a cache in this open area. Suspect it's been muggled.
Sorry folks, but I'd be pretty confident this one has gone to the great beyond for caches.
at 11:25. We were wrong last time but this time we are pretty sure it has gone. There has been a big clear up. The trees have been trimmed and all the surrounding vegetation has been removed. We looked under everything around the area and couldn't find it.
Nice little stroll through park. Testing out the app for smart phone. Not a bad app. Tftc
Quick find.
Lots of crows in the trees nearby.

Walked to this from Magpie Domain, found after a small search. Log seems full but if people go back in the book, there are plenty of unused pages to sign in. I signed next to someone from 2006.... Wow, amazing how long some of these books last! Thanks billncyndi
nice quick & easy find, almost a lazy location but it was a nice park and I probably wouldn't have visited here, if it weren't for the cache

I was on a small caching mission today, all focused upon heading to my favourite sushi shop at Chermside.
I had just avoided the crazy swarm of bees at a nearby cache by stealth moves but it seemed I just didn't have the same kind of invisibility at this cache, as I upset one of the local muggle dogs. I quickly found the geotrail and then grabbed the cache. A quick sign and then I was away from GZ quicker then having a swarm of bees after me
THanks for the cache

Second day geocaching around Brisbane.
Really a great day and found my first cache just after 7-00am.
Overall 72 finds for the day and 6 DNF's

After hiding my first cache (Kurwongbah Koalas) on the weekend, I received a blasting from the uber-caches who were trying to FTF it - my coordinates weren't accurate enough. Therefore, I headed out this morning for a new GPSr, which I tried out on this cache - with success!
I left a Star Wars figurine (hopefully a kid picks it up and not just a nerd ) - took nothing.
TFTC! Great little spot and a tidy little cache.

Quick find this arvo with the geokid. We wondered whether the house behind wonders why people visit the tree in their backyard... tftc Garners
I was in the area and decided to make use of a spare hour. GZ easily reached, although the ground is very soggy. The log book is full and needs replacing. Not sure what the neighbours thought as I looked straight through a window of one house... TFTC, The Garner Family.
On a trip to go do some heavy lifting helping family move home. Not knowing my trees, I thought this was the tree, could it be one of the trees??
I think with the cache location, I wonder what some of the neighbours think? It locate the cache was easy as there is a good geopath to GZ.
The cache is in great condition and the logbook is dry. I noticed the council had cut the grass for me thanks to the council.

Found this one quite easily as there is a well worn path in thsi area now. Still, learned more about my local area. Thanks for that - well done. TFTC. TNLN
Walked right past this one after my epic adventure to get to the one further up in the same park - not looking after the old hag

parked on the wrong side of the creek for this one... so after walking right round we then decided the water was quite shallow
took our shoes off and walked through the water... was quite refreshing actually

Nice easy find. Log definitely needs replacing as it is full and now everyone is just looking for odd spaces.
Another leap day cache for my collection. TFTC nice spot

Parked in the visitor car park for the nearby gated community. Ended up on the wrong side of the creek, but quickly sorted that out. Mr Garmin was pointing me somwhere else, but the obvious geo-track beckoned. Cache was not covered and clearly visible from some distance away. Signed the log, and replaced cache, with a bit more camo than i found it.

Find #195. Found 11/02/2012 @1:35:00 PM.
A nice walk through a park not previously known to us. Always nervous though about caches close to people's fences. Made a quick grab and sign, swatted some mozzies and were on our way.

Mud, Mosquitoes and Ants!!! So many ants!!!! We saw a distinct path straight to the cache. Apparently the path had grown over since Barb was there last. TFTC
Always like a good bit of trivia on a cache and as I splashed my way through the very wet grass on my way to GZ I read all about Geebong. The creek was very swollen and I see had broken it's banks sometime before today. the ground was still very wet and my dry shoes met their watery fate as I squelched along. Soon I was near GZ and although uncomfortable so close to the houses nobody seemed to be home. I followed a definite geotrail and soon had the cache in hand. The ants are still there and several tried crawling up my arm to chase some drier ground. Replaced and started my walk back to Rowland St and the car. TFTC and a nice park here I thought
GPS was a little off, fortunately Geoson had the iPhone on the job and it pointed to the correct spot. Nice gardening from the previous logger.
Took Crochetted ringlette; Left Football Tazo.
Log book is chockers - had to squeeze a spot on the rear cover!

2 of 6 for the day.
Logbook was not so easily retrieved as the last. I had to do some gardening to re-establish the geotrail and then fight off the ants to retrieve the cache and then the logbook. Retrieving the cache seemed to create a frenzy amongst the ants so I misgivings about returning it to its location but that's the name of the game. Hope no ants go into the cache itself.

Stairman1 and I really enjoyed the walk here. Sadly no geodog today He would have loved the park. Found the container and signed the log. Some muggle family was out in the back yard but we carefully hid from them . TFTC
Goldielover and I enjoyed the walk here. A very quiet and peaceful area. The cache was in great condition.TFTC
Last find for us on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. A beautiful park but deserted today. Quick find after a little walk from a nearby cache watching all the time for swooping magpies. Thanks for the cache and brining us to this lovely area.
Found with Allrounder & Fore! on a marathon caching day last year - have been terribly slack about getting around to my logs online, so sorry for the lack of detail! TFTC.
Okay... so the goal for the trip to Brisbane from the ACT was 50 caches in total, with an average of ten per day. On the 25th August, I bombed that out with only making one find for the day and electing other things.. silly me... and that left a minimum of 14 finds for the final day to make the original target average.... yeehaw, so bring it on...
This cache was the twelfth one of sixteen finds for the day, and allrounder made the sighting. The log book is chokkas and needs replacement, please. We found space on the back cover to sign us all in.

One park for two caches, nice! We saw this one from a distance so hid a little better. Thanks for the cache The Garner Family!

Bf found this one.. it was an easy find as there is now a defined off looking path made from people finding it.
Found with Daniel-son, geo-son and geo-sis. Phone gps was sending me away from fx, but Daniel-son got it in the end
Took Geo Granny for a walk in the park and she found her second cache of the afternoon. TNLNSL TFTC.

Found with Nearra. Nice easy find, although we did get soaking wet and had to make a run for it back to the car .
We found this one after parking the car on roland street, and getting 'Magpie Domain' on the way through. There was only one little wet patch we had to walk through, which is nothing to what it would have been like a few weeks ago The log book is full, so without flicking through for a free space, i signed inside the cardboard back cover. TNLN Thanks The Garner Family
The alternate set of coordinates worked better for me. Cache in good condition, log smelt mouldy but fine. TFTC!
Its been suggested that better coordinates are S27 22.093 E153 02.250 - if you are having any difficulty finding the cache, try these.

Log replacement required, as we signed the last page.
An easy find, as previous gcachers had trampled am obvious path.

Had some doubts about this cache when I read the notes as it hasn’t been seen for a couple of months. I was even less thrilled when I saw GZ. The locals have been using the area to dump garden rubbish and the stuff is growing wild. What a mess. However I persevered for a while and, with the aid of a short poking device and keen hearing, found the prize. Cache all OK.

No it's not missing I found it early this morning.!!! Perhaps it's moved slightly from the owners original spot. TFTC
This was cache # 8 of 14 for the day, on what turned out to be a rather sunny day out caching. My gps took me around and around before I spotted the geotrail, I was glad to get away as I had been getting swooped by a butcher bird. My thanks to The Garner Family for the cache.
Nice hide! Well protected! TNLN only a couple of pages left in log.thanks
Ohh> I just realised I wrote the wrong date in the log...
I must be time warping back to the past...I wrote 04/08/10.

Found on a warm but clear day caching in northern Brisbane. We have local events back home at the Geebung Hotel so I had to get this one. Thanks to The Garner Family for the cache.
The scout TB was not in this cache, the cache was out in the open, there was only the log book and one toy in it. I wrapped the cache back up and put it were I thought that it might have gone. Left a TB which in hindsight I probably shouldn't have.
Nice quiet park stretching along the creek. Found with the kids. Left scouting TB. TFTC
It was nice to get this one off the list - NyletaM and I attempted this cache on our very first geocaching mission, and failed TFTC!
