I visited Dos Lagos this morning after a tip off from a fellow geocacher that it could not be found [:o]
The cache has indeed disappeared !!
I have decided not to replace the cache as is.
This area lends itself to a much sneakier hide and so I bid this cache goodbye

Took the crooked rugrats on a quick spur of the moment cache hunt this evening after Miss 8 finished her gymnastics training nearby. With no torch, we were stumbing around in the dark, before finding the cache. It was my 6th, master 7's 5th and miss 8 and master 5's first. Lots of excitement, interrupted only by the mozzies, which forced a quick get away.
As we retreated, master 5 pointed to a couple as they passed us walking their dog and exclaimed "Are they muggles?". Lots of fun.

Out and about driving, thought I would do a spot of Geocaching as well. Shame to read the signs of the Blue/Green algae outbreak. Hope it improves soon. TFTC. TNLN.
Saw lots of birds going about their business here by the lagoon. Saw swans, ibis, swallows and egrets Log dry. TNLN TFTC Merry Christmas
I was going to say 'quack' ... but that sqwark the waterhens were making is a bit different.

My first Geo cache took me and nickob a while to find. it was hard to work out how to use our phones GPS[v] but we did it was fun. Thanks for the cache
Found by Daniel-son while I stayed in car with sleeping geo-son. Qute a few muggles around so nabbing thus one proved difficult. But Daniel-son got it in the end.
This was our first go at geocaching, we loved it! use my HTC Mini with Beelinegps app.
Walked on by this morning and checked it out.
It's still were I found it almost a year ago on my 2nd geocaching adventure ever
Time flies!
Unfortunately the cache was damp inside, but not wet. The snaplock bags are helping.
I decided to move the travelers elsewhere.
Jolly good!

On a sunny Monday morning I headed north with a fresh logbook in me pocket
Finders had been hinting that the first logbook was full [:o]
But there's always a little blank spot on a corner of one of the pages somewhere for the determined cache finder to scribble something
Flicking through the pages this morning I was surprised !!
The original logbook is crammed to the rafters with finder's logs [:o]
A new logbook has arrived and eagerly awaits the next finder's scrawl.
While I was there I dopped off a travel bug of the K9 variety which I don't seem to have logged a find on
Next player please 'grab' it from wherever I found it

Our second at sandgate.

Found by MAL. Another one to trust the 'GAR' - took us right to it after we searched the lookout thoroughly. Left medallion and took army man. TFTC
Decided to go walking after a game of squash. Great cache. Log book nearly full. TFTC
Was driving by the area when my HTC alerted me of a nearby cache. So we stopped and quickly found this one. Thanks for the cache.
The geotoddler spotted this one as we approached gz as is was not covered over too well. We sat on the grass as we looked through the container and signed the log, then returned it with a little more cover. Great little area. Thanks If
Second of a couple of quick caches on the way home. Couple of muggles hanging around so thought would give it five minutes and they soon evaporated. Found no worries particularly as it was on the surface and visible form the path. Retrieved it and was a bit damp inside. Wiped out what we could to dry it out a bit. Was going to leave the Teddy TB but he/she was very damp so we thought we would get it out and dry him/her off at home. Heading off to Perth tomorrow so will take it on a flight with me and see if I can find a new spot for it there. Set cache back in place and concealed it how I think it may have been intended and off we went.
A nice quick find tonight with my muggle (although I think soon to be new cacher) friends in Brisbane and I say my first cane toads ever at this cache (not really a highlight but a first none the less!). TFTC
it was exactly where i wanted to look last time but the annoying muggles wouldnt leave
left cute little purple bear tavel bug

Found quickly geokids loved local mulberry tree. Last page of log book. TFTC
Sampled some mulberries while we were here. Another week and they'll be perfect! TNLN, TFTC
WOW beautiful spot, I lived near here for 6 months but never notice the beauty till now. TFTC
Caching with geo-nephew today we found the nearby mulberries ripening on the tree. If you come late September you should get a feed.
Thanks "If" for another fine cache ! I am sure you are familar with every bikeway in Brisvegas. Even though we have never met you ,I can just imagine you enjoying a "fizzy drink" and admiring the view.
Quick find and a pleasant spot. Did a walk around the lagoon after logging the cache. Took the TB to continue its journey. Thanks for the cache, Andrew and Maryan.
Found on a beautiful winters day after a fishing lesson at Brighton.

Nice easy find with geo-kid on bike. Had to wait for pedestrian traffic to clear before replacing. TFTC
All was quiet at Dos Lagos as we headed to the obvious place without consulting the sattelites. After taking a moment to enjoy the view the hunt began and it was then we discovered we still had a ways to go. Just a short walk and the cache was ours. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us to this lovely spot
Nearly gave up on this one, not having a gps. But i found it in round 2 today. seemed to get busier as the day went on haha.

Dodged the many walking muggles and found the cache. Great spot. Bit surprised that the cache remains in place in the open.

We parked the car and as Plus-One n I were walking back to GZ we thought we had this one sussed. Turned out it wozn't quite where we thought it woz going to be but a quick find none the less once the muggles passed. Signed the log @ 10-53pm and went looking for spiders. TFTC
After we had to let some muggles stagger home from the club the coast was clear and the loupyloo and i began the hunt. sure enough it was there but not quite where we expected. is good to see all the work being done around the lagoon and look forward to seeing it completed. if anyone has not been up that way recently i would reccommend another look.
A very quick find for us (NyletaM and I), we quickly found and signed the log.
Took a moment to admire the surrounds, and moved on for some more caching.

Found this cache in good condition. Was a bit worried with all the construction going on in the area. TFTC!
We've had a few trips up here to run around the Lagoon on a cross country race - this time it was much more leisurely. Cache in good condition. Cheers
Great to think this cache has been here nearly 4 years and not muggled, eaten by ducks, or rained out. Mr If the funnyman knows his geocaching. I''m starting to collect caches in the area and hoping to get geo-nephew involved when I can get him away from Nippers, rugby, choir and trumpet lessons. Kids these days - I don't know! What happened to fossicking in muddy parks and ponds?
Thx, the first cache in Australia and definitly not the last one!
Greeting to moboegel from down under.

Popped along to this one having been Muggled off the Ducks @ Sandgate. Lovely spot, nice camouflage job. TNLN. SL.

Found with Shell-A at 10:45am. This one took a bit of searching which wasn't all that pleasant with the abundance of mosquitoes that were in the GZ. Nice hide. TFTC and bringing us to the view.
