We searched the area . A DNF for us. Assuming that the cache has been washed away in the recent very heavy rains. Evidence that the water levels were high in this area.
Out for an afternoon with Selva Girls to do this series and a few others in the area. Lots of water lying everywhere from all the rain yesterday.
Selva Girls phone and my gps were both all over the place here. My gps was telling me it was underwater. Eventually Selva Girls managed to find it, luckily not in the water

An afternoon of caching with Rhyssa6. this one was the next on our list. Parked nearby and wandered over to GZ. I am not usually the one to find caches hidden where this one is hiding. I must have been paying more attention than usual as I was the one to spot this one. We signed the log and headed off to the next one.
My three month Brisbane adventure is continuing. I'm 10 days into the second month of it.
In the lead up to Christmas, I haven't been doing many caches. Mum and I went to my brother's for the festivities, and I did only enough caches to keep my run going. We came home yesterday in the rain, and today it's raining again. The poor GeoSchnauzers haven't had a decent walk since the 23rd December. So today, despite the rain, we're going walking and caching. I decided on the Sandgate area to fill in a few misses, and check the opening hours of a bulk butcher. I further decided that Australia wasn't going to get any Indian wickets while I was watching, so I decided to give the boys a go, and listen to it on the radio between caches.
No 7 of 8 today. Thanks, K8'n'Co.. We found this one after a longish walk and a short search. The concept for the final cache sounds interesting, I'll keep these in mind for my next trip home. The GeoSchnauzers are having a good day - we are doing far more walking than caching.

With GPS's looping, this one took a little while to find even with so many eyes! Luckily the cache was eventually found, clue gathered and time to move on.
We kind of went the hard way to this one, when we could of just gone around a little. Our compass was a bit jumpy here with tree cover so it took a while to locate the cache, lost2found eventually came up with the goods. Tftc
Why go around when you can just stomp throu the middle. Cache and puzzle found.
Muggles still happy to cache the afternoon away.
Afternoon of caching with Lisylou and Hot Wheels Duo.

Today I'm aiming to visit (and revisit) all caches in this series by foot.. On probably one of the hottest days this year. Am glad to have finally spotted this one after a while spent looking too hard while GPS decided to stop working with sudden network failure. This is 3rd of 5 clues collected.. Onwards!

Nasty little muggles have discovered the final cache in this series and keep nicking it, so I have relocated the "Puzzle Solved" cache and will be updating this cache with new clues in the near future. The clue in this cache will still be relevant to the solving of the final location.
Following the coords given in a previous log had me in the right area, and short search found the cache just a few meters away. Of course I exercised the cliche of hard way in, easy way out... The park is *just* there.. Doh. Could have avoided the big spiders that way LOL TFTC
Even though it was raining this morning, the sun eventually came out,
so we headed out to find a few caches.
Another quick find here, and grabbed the clue for the final.
Many thanks for placing this cache, K8'n'Co., for us and others to find.

Had been to this spot a few times without success. After finding Picture Puzzle thought I knew what I was looking for and found reasonably quickly. TFTC
Would have been helpful if we had looked where we were heading first. Eventually came back to original spot and spotted cache.
This one had us stumped for a while! Even though the difficulty and terrain are low the area is quite overgrown, but after a few attempts and many frustrated comments later we have finally found it! If you are on the hunt for this one be sure to use the waypoint given in the logs below Thanks for the cache! We are happy to finally have this one as a smiley!
Having failed to find this cache in the past and other DNFs I had little expectation of finding this cache. But then there it was.\,finding it made my mornig. TFTC
Have been back to this location 3 times now with no luck will try again once it has been found.
Found this one easily - thanks to recent finders! I have another clue in this series which I collected some time back. Have to try and find it now.
Thanks K8'n'Co
Thanks K8'n'Co
Finally! After our third or fourth visit, we finally found this one. Thanks to the previous finder's new coordinates it pushed out our search circle a little further and we found it very quickly today. It really did stand out quite well in that place this time
TFTC K8'n'Co!

Wow! No logs since 2 years ago on this one... actually more like 1.
Started wondering around before I found I was looking right at it. A rough waypoint at (.379 .144) but it wasn't next to any major feature, still covered though and missing a bit of paint so more white than the other ones so far.

Here with Captain Terror to check on this cache. He could not find it even though he has previously found this one. Can CO please check on it? Cheers
Well after finding these puzzle cache last year geoson and I decided to go for puzzle solved today. With only one clue left from my notes we backtracked thru them all and noted clues until this one ... we really need to that moon but it's not available. Off we go to gz with a couple of possibilities. See how we go.
Hi COs. This one has had some previous DNFs and we could not find as well. If the COs could just have a look and check if it is there or not, and maybe post a reply? Thanks
Was here today with Angela and admittedly it was fading light, but we both had no luck.
I note that it has had a couple of previous DNFs, so I will log a needs maintenance. If the COs could just have a look and check if it is there or not, and maybe post a reply? Thanks

We were in the area, so dropped in to try to find this one which we DNF'd months ago... again we had no luck - even more overgrown than last time! Better luck next time
We had an idea of what the container looks like so we thought we will try again today. No luck . Must be well hidden . We will be back .
Looked and looked for about 10 minutes, with GPS jumping around everywhere. Lots of overgrown weeds here, and could not find cache in the normal place. Will come back again one day and try again. TFTUC K8'n'Co.
wow what a found race was on between geocousin and i geo aunty stood back and took it all in, i found it with new gps so hooked now great way for adrenaline runs well done left log and put ticket in didnt take anything out
Visited with geo-lad and geo-niece Nashyblue and her brand new gps. The race was on btwn experienced and newbie. Well done Nashyblue - got the nose of a blood-hound (and she is now hooked on geo-caching.
Log signed, trinket swapped. We have still not figured out the clues but have photos of them ... 2 down.

Fourth of the series today. All good here. Took a little longer than expected as there was no obvious hiding spot at GZ. Noted the clue. TFTC K 8'N'Co

Quite a bit of wandering around in spider webs done before the cache was found. Luckily I had two experts with me today to teach me in the ways of the cache. TFTC
Out and about today with bulldozer72 and La Kedi
This was our meeting point and first find today. Just like everyone else, the GPS's were going crazy, and the search took a while. We soon gave up on them and began poking around, and I eventually got it. Took a puzzle and noted the clue. TFTC, Mr Co.

We had some time spare this arvo and decided to cross to the other side of the Bruce to find a cache. This one popped up nearby and the mooselings and I set off through the undergrowth, trying not to draw the attention of those in the park. The cache had been well hidden by a previous finder and with a spinning GPS reading, was harder to find than it should have been. We signed the log and backtracked, having discovered the Wuzzle Puzzle. tftc K8'n'Co
No. 180!!
I parked in the little area at the end of the path to Bald Hills Station and walked back to grab this cache. Thanks to a comment made in a past log, I had an idea of what to look for amongst the trees. As a result, the cache was found quite quickly. The clue was noted and the logbook signed while Geodaughter 2 inspected the contents of the container.

I decided to make a detour to nab this one after some canoeing this morning so parked up on the outside of the bend in the road and wandered into the deserted park. I followed the GPS around until it insisted on one spot, so I grabbed a stick and started looking. The GPS changed it's mind and as I was taking a few steps I spotted the beast tucked away. I sat down to sign the log and look at the riddles and of course, record the hint. TFTC K8'n'Co
This is a great spot if you are planning on collecting cobblers pegs, still pulling the itchy little things off. After a serach here and a search there, then hmmm, that looks a little odd! So there it is!

Found with Felsea after Christmas dinner. Much easier in daylight and dry. Saw a 50cm+ bearded dragon. Think the clue terminology is incorrect but Tftc!
What began ad an intro to geocaching ended up as three men in the dark and pouring rain huddled under one umbrella in the bush and a DNF as a geowife was called to come rescue us. We'll be back.
This one took awhile but I found it eventually So many logs lying all over the place.
Found easily enough, also found a bike, helmet, and chain, obviously dumped, probably should report it, but how to explain what I was doing in the bush, Thanks, slowly gathering the information required.
Hey, that's a cool trick with the satellites returning moving coordinates. How'd you do that?
OK, I found it eventually, but wow was GPSr confused today. tftc. 2nd on the way to solving the puzzle.

Out this afternoon with Potatofish. Last time we looked for this was a no go so good to find more easilly this arvo. TFTC
Nice hide, took a bit to find but I finally got it. Amber-son and Geo-Son as my wingmen.
Number seven today, we're on a roll, thankfully... I have had a drought in caching of sorts, and to have allrounder navigate us around the place with her trusty netbook and aussie explorer maps loaded, we got up to 13 for the day. All good. This cache was a little bit of a troll with the gps floating all over the shop, but eventually allrounder came up with it.
Found @ 2:22pm with Fore! and Team Goanna on Day 2 of our trip to Brisbane to visit Team Goanna
The GPSrs were having trouble narrowing down the GZ so we spread out - in the end I made the find. The youngest member of Team Goanna swapped a car for a koala. Second one in the series for us, thanks for the cache K8'n'Co.!

Bit of a messy area to hunt around in, especially with the GPSr having a little tanty and not settling very well.... But allrounder, Fore! and I spread out for the search and all rounder managed to come up with the goods in reasonable time... TFTC.
It's been some time since I last swung by here for a hunt. My last attempt was foiled however, by truck loads of ankle biting muggles who had flooded the area...
A nice early arrival at GZ this morning guaranteed a muggle free hunt so Kaisho53 moved in for the kill. The coords were pretty good and the GPS took me straight to GZ. But, there is no fun in just retrieving the cache is there... Nope... So, we spent a few minutes scratching around pretending we hadn't seen it... You believe us, don't you...
OK, so we didn't spot it right away, but we got there shortly after... Clue was noted and log signed. Then a swift exit was made as we headed to TaxisVW's front yard...
Cheers K8'n'Co.

I circled the area at least 6 times and searched the same spots over and over but of course the cache didn't appear in any of those spots on the second or third time.
I was running out of options when I spied something smooth. Grabbed it.
The rest of the series will have to wait for another day. TFTC.

Found today after i had an early day at Redcliffe. It took a little while to spot, i should have trusted the gizzmo a little more on this one. One more and then on to the final. TNLN Thanks K8'n'Co

The area has certainly been messed up. No cache to be found. New cache in place at new co-ords.
Fail for me here
The area's pretty messed up... water and fallen plants everywhere... you might need to check it out.

One more down! Nice quick grab with EngPhil. Cache was quite exposed, did our best to add some camo. TFTC!
Second in the series for us tonight, and again it was Palopinto who came up with the goods. The container was rather exposed, but it's now covered nicely. TFTC, K8'n'Co.!
I was sharing AmbulareSimila's concerns when I too saw the fireplace.. but cache in good condition. TFTC!
I thought I might be able to grab this one before the muggle population picked up. Short answer was no. Even at 0630, dog walking muggles were chatting in the park and prevented me from heading in. I waited about 5 mins before moving on... I'll be back another time...
Alkzura and I decided to do the Puzzles tonight, I had already done Quizzical so Alky grabbed that one before we started on the others. This one was pretty easy to find, the GPS was off but the hint gave us the cache location. Lovely park even in the dark. TFTC

We decided to have a go at the Puzzle series today while we had some time to kill before a birthday dinner in the area.
We were a little concerned about the health of the cache when we found a fire not too far from GZ but while Mr Simia was busy picking through trying to find cache remains, the Geodaughter spotted it.
Then the challenge was to get it out as it was a little wedged and there was a spider on this one too! We gave it a good family effort and retrieved it and were soon on our way after signing the log and grabbing the clue.

Lots of new weed growth from recent rains made the cache quite hard to find. In fact I nearly gave up the search after 15 minutes and accepted a DNF. But I had another look through the grass and there it was right where I had looked at least twice before.

After all the rain we've had, the park was really soggy but the cache was ok. I emptied a little water from the bottom of the container and the puzzle was a bit damp but not too bad. TFTC
Been meaning to find this set of caches for ages. Finally got to it. Had an enjoyable afternoon. Thanks.
checking the wrong stump and it was full of termites resulting in the stump disingrating. A bit more look around and located easily.
Bit soggy in the area today but cache nice & dry. Clue present but no wuzzle puzzles.
