Nice easy find, and no bees. Didn't realise it had been archived but found it anyway. Found in the company of vk3jap on our Bendigo raid. TFTC TNLNSL
Found this one today without any problems, cache is still in situ and i couldn't see any bees. I've been working with an out of date dataset from october so this one was still marked as active. Cache was well hidden and had us scratching our heads for a bit. Thanks for the hide and container is now safe to collect (or unarchive)
Found at 5:05pm with Eudes, LinearZZ and 4MAAL although only two teams managed to sign the log for themselves. I had tried this one yesterday afternoon, but gave up due to the massive number of bees swarmimg around GZ. Had also seen a larger swarm at the Bunnings car park in Kangaroo Flat on Sat morning - the only two times I have seen this in my life.e population of bees was greatly reduced, but still one took a dislike to Eudes' head (can't blame it really ) and stung him and chased him as he fled from GZ. Would have been a sensation on Funniest Home Videos if only we had one! LZZ and I took pity on Eudes and 4MAAL and quickly signed their names in the log as we made a retreat before they turned nasty on us as well.
TNLN
thanks hardyman
PS - may be worth checking if the bees have moved in permanently and shifting the cache a tad further away if they have.

Alsume was really keen to have another look at this cache hoping, I guess, that the bee swarm might have gone. No such luck, but apparently it was much quieter. The cache was readily found at 5:05pm but that stirred 'em up and the log had to "bee" signed really quickly. However not fast enough for EuDes who was having a tete a tete with a buzz bomb, so we completed formalities for him and 4MAAL and made a hasty retreat ourselves.
This was our last find on this Bendigo trip (although not our last search ) but what a saga it was. The find was easy enough, despite the local bee population, but just as it was my turn to sign the log, one of the local population took a definite dislike to me and not only stung me on my poor old bald pate, but decided that he liked the landing pad so much that he would have several more goes . I only wish someone had some footage of my mad dash back to the cars being chased by something that was over 1000 times smaller than me as I reckon it would have looked like something out of a cartoon . Anyway, there was no way I was going back there so someone signed my name in the logbook at 17:05, one of the very few times I have claimed a find without personally signing the logbook but I still reckon I have a valid excuse .
TNLN, had the LSd for me . Thanks (I think ) hardyman .

Found it earlier but too many bees. Went back at night and only a few menacing bees left able to retrieve with only no3 smallfry running off with an angry bee in tow survived without being stung.
Retreived the container somewhat reluctantly and quickly made our escape. Had visions of being stung repeatedly so didn't hang around to see my fears realised. TFTC I think.
Found with SuperJaz and Bewilderbeest. Im glad SuperJaz was with us, she wasnt scared of the bees!
Thank you thank you!!!
Thank you thank you!!!
Our last find of our Bendigo visit. I was too chicken to take on the bees, SuperJaz did the deed.
I'd recommend moving the cache, though, for safety of future seekers.

Easy find after finding a way to avoid all the bees!
We think there must have been a hive in the lower part of the tree. They were EVERYWHERE!
Made no swaps, singed log and we were on our way!

We found our 2nd Hardyman cache at 12:50pm as the 11th of 26 on Day 2 of our "Where'd Bendy Go?" long weekend. After a quick sortee out west, we were now back into town. As per previous loggers, there is indeed a swarm of bees at GZ, but also as per other loggers, the cache is easily retreivable without risk of getting stung. Thanks for the cache from D, H & A B-A.
Nothing wrong with this one as a first hide, apart from the fact that a colony of bees was in close attendance. However, they left us alone, and we were able to retrieve and then replace the cache unhindered.

Found a 10:00am after a quick walk and search. No muggles around today. The cache can be a bit hard to retrieve if its in the location too far, but it is a very clever hide.

I thought that we had parked a long way from GZ, but as we walked over, it became apparent that TomTom had looked after me. There was a bee hive in the nearest tree, which didn’t bother us, but it would pay to be careful.
Thanks Hardman.
Thanks Hardman.

This one popped up on the GPS as we were heading to finish off a Romax one. Nice walk as we watched a few hockey boys belt some balls around. Cache found easy enough and remains in good nick. TFTC hardyman. Cheers. TNLN as have now run out of items that will now fit!

4 stubbies and Kingpin went a hunting. Look out for the dog poo as lots of it around to snare you. Found fairly quickly, but the clean up of shoes took longer.

Found 200704061300 . Accompanied by the Facit-family, this was the first cache I had attempted using Bluetooth and my new TX. Unfortunately, I was doing something wrong and I was still 130m metres away from GZ (at least that's what the GPSr told me [B)]), when e-facit found the cache

WIth Farmers5 on a caching trip we found gz easily enough and not for the first time Farmers was extracting the cache as I was settling the GPS! It was a tight fit but thus harder to muggle. TNLN and thanks to hardyman for the cache.
Cache number 13 on my foray into Bendigo. A quickly found cache but a slowly removed one. I struggles for a little while to get my hand in the hidey and then remove with cache. Eventually cache was recovered and log entry made. Thanks for reminding me of the boy and the cooky jar.

A nice easy find - in the company of Geo Granddad and my son James. There were no players here today, so we didn't have to contend with any crowds.
T: Ockie straps
L: Screwdriver & some toothpicks.
We will also move the Jeep TB on to a new cache sometime soon.

Found at 11.40am GAFF1. Mmmmm ankle breaking sports! We were heading off for the traditional cache hiding spot, but our GPS's were telling us to keep on going. Took: Bouncy ball, Left: Giraffe. Thanks hardyman.
After a quick battery change the GPS did what it was supposed to do and that was to lead us straight to the cache. After retrieving the container the cache was duly logged and replaced with not a muggle in sight.
Many thanks Hrdyman for the cache a great first hide and very much enjoyed.

The Alliance was out in force today with four members present. So this is another find for The Rebel Alliance. L.L.T.R.A
This was a nice quick find. It was a cold, wet and windy day, with no-one else around, so we were able to drive quite close by. A couple of us jumped out and had it virtually straight away. We then returned to the comfort of the car for all of us to log it. Thanks for the cache.
Sixth of Twenty finds on a wet, windy, cold and can someone tell us why we do this day's caching day with Dak’s Emu Mob, Kiwideb, and Muzza. I was so glad of the nice quick drive by as it saved us getting wet. Thanks for the cache.
Sixth of seventeen finds on a rainy, cold day's caching in and around Bendigo with acts2youthgroup, Kiwideb, and Muzza. We managed to park close to the cache, and we found the cache at 1200 after a short search. I made no exchange. Thanks to hardyman for the cache.
We collected this cache on our night assault of the Bendigo area. We found a parking spot and as the rain had stopped for the moment we had an enjoyable walk to GZ. Being here this time of night there were no muggles and defiantly no sports at the near by grounds so our search and find was relatively easy.

We drove right up to this one full of confidence of a quick find, jumped staight out of the car without the GPS'r but coulnt find anything, after getting my head out of the clouds with my tail between my legs grabs the trusty GPS'r and went to the correct spot and came up with the goodies.
