Well that's a waste of time (but it's not all about the find), as the first clue is missing (the sign is gone, yes I knew this before trekking off but thought maybe I could find another council sign in the park). But I did think I could go on without too. Really nice walk made it a good day for the family, combined with the cultural festival. Once I had collected the clue answers I thought I could be smart and make an educated guess. I found an exit what I thought might be a GZ but no such luck. I have emailed in the hope of getting the missing number.. Actually looking at the title I think I'm pretty sure where it is. Thanks anyway. Pian0man
Tried our best but had a disappointing time with this one. The main problem is that the sign needed for U seems to have gone walkabout, but the frame is still there. There is another sign nearby that mentions Council ordinances but there's no mention of the word 'chapter' and the numbers on that sign didn't take us to the cache. Of course, quite a few of the questions are ambiguous and we may have gone wrong at any stage. Will try to contact the owner to see what's going on.
Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. A nice ride around this park gathering the required info. Located cache OK. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.
After a DNF 2 months back today the cache just jumped out and grabbed me. I swear it wasn't in that spot the last time I was here.
Once again thanks for the great walk around the park the first time round when I gathered the clue information.

Managed to grab this one with a little help from others while attending the Valentines Event. Great park which now house some great caches. TFTC
Found this on the walk back to Queens Park. Found some mud as well but all was good!
finally found it. The geokids and I originally did the walk in August. We have been coming back periodically to try to find the cache.

Have no idea what the "glass" cannon's are about but after taking in the views of the park I came up with a few likely locations none of which reveal a cache. I spent some time looking at these locations.
I had a little look at the most likely location but a distinct aroma put me off of poking around in this spot. I can only hope the storms this afternoon (Thursday) may help with the aroma.

Found it, was a fun walk, some of the clues are downright misleading,
cannons, and sitting facing the direction specified will yield no results.
if they were fixed up it would make for alot less head scratching. other than that, it was a good time to be had, found the cache after about 5 minutes at GZ.

Found at 0930. I found the walk interesting and did not take long, about 30 minutes. Grew up in this area of Toowoomba. My computed Final Co Ordinates took me to GZ. Was only off the clue by about 1metre. Quick easy find once at GZ but had to wait for the Council gardeners to leave and the other workmen nearby to turn their backs. The lid of the container takes some getting off. Had to use a little gentle tap from the back of my torch. Would not twist or pull at first. TNLN TFTC.
Found it after quite a walk - some misleading clues made it all the more interesting....
Thanks for the hunt!
Thanks for the hunt!
Had a wonderful time touring the park but unfortunately we couldn't find the cache (did get all the clues though). Will try again next time we visit Toowoomba. Thanks for the adventure. PeaTea
Found with geomum while on a weekend away in Toowoomba. Really enjoyed the walk around this park before locating the cache.

Took me a couple of quick visits in between jobs to get all the clues done, and then a final quick trip to the GZ, took a bit of a clue from the cache name also which helpled.
Was a nice walk around the park.

Found by flashlight with Skottikus. There were some legs that we just could not figure out but we made a few assumptions and used our geosenses to come up with the find. Took nothing Left a carabiner TFTH
Completed the clues yeaterday and worked on the coords last night. Had a couple of possible locations and we were lucky in that it was where we first went to check. Thanks for a fun cache - our last Toowoomba find after a weekend of caching.
Found today with flapperjohn.. Very exciting. Interesting clues.. After walking around gathering information yesterday and working on the clues last night we had a few combinations.. Luckily our first was right. This is our first cache of this type. It was alot of fun.. TFTC
Had to guess way more clues than I would have liked but we seemed to guess right and soon enough, the cache was in hand. Found with Search4. TFTC and the walk about.
This one has been on my radar for a while, but just never seemed to get around to doing it. Gave it a crack today, and after a good long but easy walk, a couple of cryptic clues, and then an extended delay due to a loitering muggle, found it quite easily.

We did this cache in parts. We visit Toowoomba to see an aging parent in a retirement village and manage to spend some time walking after 5pm each day, which is getting quite dark at this time of year. Finally decided on the coordinates (some of the clues were a little cryptic - was that a 'brass' cannon or a 'glass' cannon??) and found the cache by torchlight. Thanks for the opportunity to explore.
Found on the first attempt! had a guess at a couple of the clues though, but ended up on the right spot. TNLN SL TFTC
Had some trouble with one clue (my fault in the end) and finding GZ, however after some searching it appeared.
Thanks for the walk.

Finally found time to give it another go. Last time it had been muggled! This time I did all the clues from scratch and found it easily. TNLN TFTC

Found with geo-uncle lat&long junkie on our day caching in Toowoomba with lochb and Liz & Bruce. Enjoyable walk around, must make a mental note to return and see the area during the carnival of flowers. It was almost dark when searching for the cache, lucky Bruce could still see. We all found the co-ords where a little off, maybe the trees didn't help much. TFTC
Strolled through the park with 'Bedmaker', 'Liz&Bruce' and 'lochb' finding all the WPs and generally having a fine time. I really did wonder where one sources such things as are mentioned in Clue W. Can't say I've ever seen one before . Then at Clue X we found no one had a calculator. Out came the pen and paper (how quaint) and the answer was soon to hand. There followed a discussion on the method of finding the area of the shape. Well, that's what happens when you have a "maths person" in the group. I think 'lochb' has some sinister ideas for future caches . Clue Y was somehow misread, and we spent some time counting letters in the wrong place. Sneaky, very sneaky, this one . At GZ we spent a lot of time searching in the dark and eventually found (with some help) the cache about 15-20 metres from where the GPSr was indicating. Everyone was tired and ready for food by this time, so it was a quick TN/LN/SL and off to the pub. TFTC [^].
Good to be doing some caching with lat&long junkie, Bedmaker and lochb. Especially this one that took a fair bit of walking and collecting data. It was most pleasant in the late afternoon to be strolling around checking out the diffrent trees and bushes. It was getting quite dark by the time we got to gz and then had to search over quite a large area before we came up with the cache. TNLN. Thanks geographobiacs

Temporarily disabled until I can check this out. Thanks (and sorry) to those that have reported it missing.
We tried and tried and could not find. I feel that the cache has escaped. There were plenty of great hiding places but no cache.
Had fun doing all the clues and came up with a likely spot for the cache, but could find nothing??
Is it possible the cache has gone?

A nice stroll in the park. It was pretty much exactly where I thought it would be but took no chances and went the full course. It's very dry with a few big trees dead.

Found it, finally, great hide, tried it about a month ago but gospel fest had too many people around so we gave up, better luck today, Mumma Stickybear found it, her very first find.
Wasn't sure about some of the answers, but found cache on second attempt, in the middle of a Thunderstorm with heavy rain (!!!) and the aid of a torch. How did I miss it the first time?

A tricky day as there was a Gospel music festival right in the middle of the proceedings, luckilly all the clues were accessable. Look up at GZ and you might see a furry face looking back at you. Muggles Galore! TFTC!
Goodness me, I have never seen so many tents in Queens Park!!! Lovely park, TFTC. ='.'=
Had to retrieve this one in between groups of passing muggles on their way to the Gospel Concert. TNLF TFTC
had a quick go at this one, but I couldn't find the first wpt. Not sure if I will be back.

Found it on busy Australia Day in the company of DisSister. Decided to do it backwards as we came from Lest We Forget - good move! Love this park!
What a fantastic spot - the Garden City certainly has a spectacular garden at this location.
We had a most enjoyable stroll around gathering the information required - the cache was a very easy find as the cache was exposed - we hid it a little better than we found it.
Thanks for the cache.

12:39hrs Not sure if we were having issues getting the right answers but we ended up with the cache in the hand after resorting to a few different searches. Our Co-ords were a fair way off the mark. Needless to say we had a great wander around this park and it is great to appreciate it when the carnival of flowers isn't on TFTF. TN Left TB.
Found with the group at the Spring Geocaching Picnic. Had lots of fun touring the park gathering clues and discussion of various threads in the forum. Took TB and left various swaps.

We were enjoying an event cache in the park here today, so we couldn't miss the opportunity to have a crack at this cache.
A group us cachers made our way around the park, taking in all the sights & it wasn't long before we had the required information.
Upon getting to GZ there were a couple of people around so we all decided to 'sit and rest' right here - we must have looked suspicious because we heard someone say 'they must be geocachers' - that made us laugh. Apparently someone even heard one of the passing kids say 'and I know exactly where what they're looking for is' - after 10 minutes of searching we wished we'd grabbed this kid instead of letting them go.
Although there weren't many people around someone actually came up and asked what we were doing - I told them and later when we found the cache I took it up to them and showed them what it was all about.
Eventually, of course, the cache location was revealled - after all, it couldn't stay hidden from this many people for too long! We took out a travel bug and geocoin. Thanks for the great cache!

I grew up here and Queen's Park is one of my favouite parks. The geokids loved the walk in the park as well as the Quiz challenge. We had a lot of trouble with Muggles while trying to hide the cache as the Soccer had just finished and a crowd of people were flowing through the park.

A great walk around the park, but didn't find the cache. As we got to the bushes a group of kids had made it their cubby house & i am afraid they may have discovered it. Best you check it.
Otherwise not a bad day for a walk.

We had a great weekend at the football and decided to visit Queens Park. We are still wondering about "Glass Canons" however? Our Geo-team had full value from the walk around the park following previous nights decadence.

FTF Yeah! Up here for a hockey carnival armed with all the required Geocaching gear. After circumnavigating the park numerous times with my new recruit, Maria, we found ourselves on hands and knees.
