Like the piece of machinery it celebrated, it looks like this cache has exceeded its use by date.
With three DNF's , it looks like I'd better disable this one til I get a chance to check it out.
We searched for quite a while but didn't come up trumps today. Looked in all the obvious places and even some of the not-so-obvious but no luck.
despite reading the clues, and finding the screw driver we had no luck today. did however get a history lesson from a local from across the road.
We found the tool first whcih was handy Then we found th goodies... Did this in the pouring rain but had fun
Heading home with setsujoku from Clare after some JLWE prep work, small detour before heading home. TFTC
Wow - another old crane.
Found during a massive 24 hour cache-a-thon with Rediguana, ADV, Hello Mrs and Pohutukawa - on the homeward stretch of our Oz MEGA trip.
We did 231 caches in this one day - a new personal best and an Australian record (until growingupisoptional put it in its place just one week later).
Sorry for the generic logs.
We had an awesome time with the TdF, APM and much of the NXY serries' of caches, as well as many others in between. Unfortunately they were all a blur in long, long, day.

A nice quick find. Our 90th cache. Might want to note somewhere that a screwdriver is required TFTC
was in the area taking the scenic route from Tailem Bend to Clare (time to top up the wine cellar a bit) so dropped in to grab this one. Old deserted railway yards can be a bit depressing, especially with rusting stuff around, these rails haven't seen a train for ages, and probably never will again. Was able to drive right up to GZ, then the cache was found fairly quickly. Opening it was another question though, my fingernails are now a little rougher but were sufficient for the job! Thanks to miray for this one.
Team Wildtrack had it in seconds. Better not tell dad this was our second visit to find this one. TFTC TNLN SL
TFTC Doh I forgot my swaps today. Out with my Bro, My Aunt and Me Ma!
I beat them to the cache wahooooo Just cause I can run faster!Na but I did try hard!

After doing all AMP series by lunch time so we had plenty of time to hunt some more caches before going back to our caravan park at Kapunda, our last find for the day...total 63 finds Thanks miray.
Trusty pocket knife saved the day but a swiss army knife would have been better. TFTC.
Out on a GZ trip with my boys for a few days.
Great time of year to be trekking around the back tracks exploring!
Good hide. Had a screwdriver so we got the lid off. Left the screws loose so the next finder should be able to get the lid of by hand.
TFTC!

Found thiss one with the Burton's, lucky Lee had the right screwdriver. access ws to the cache was quick, we signed the log and replaced the log. TFTC
Needs a screw driver to access into cache. Please place our name in cache also when next found. Interesting place. Tftc
Sorry didn't have any means to open this, could next finder please place our name in cache, note stuck on bottom. Much appreciated TFTC
Found with Solitaire. We also found a box of books dumped nearby. While solitaire salvaged a number of interesting titles, I was quite bemused by a very thin AFL publication titled 'Port Adelaide Greatest Moments'
Easy find with The Penny Drops who had the necessary gear to open the cache. Thanks miray for the cache.
Bregor called this before we even had the device in sight.
Great to go caching with a Bloodhound, makes getting smilies Oh ! so easy.
Thanks for cache Miray. TNSL - L - a Penny 1946

didn't read the clues before heading out, luckily had some stashed in the bag for such a thing, TFTC
Well to be honest we still had bad memories of this one from our visit some years ago when after we couldn't find the cache we left the gps on the bonnet of the car only to see it fly off and bounce on the bitumen once we got to the open road. The garmin did survive with just a few scratches which was pretty good. Today though a quick find and we didn't even have to take the gps out of the car. Thanks miray
Surprisingly easy one for us with a container we have never come across before! lucky we had read the previous logs and bought a screwdriver at local IGA! More stuff in the geocaching backpack. have a tool for every cache now! Lefty loosey Righty tighty and we were off! TSLS SL TFTC miray!

It's amazing the magic tricks you can do with a screw driver -- Pull one out of the car tool kit and it's a phillips head But a little bit of slight of hand and hey presto it's a flat screw driver , Makes getting those little screws out so much easier.
Great place to hide, good thing we had taken some shorter Cachers with us

Found with the Knippers. I was looking at 5 tons, she had a better idea. Thanks for the walk back to the car by the way - we didn't have a screwdriver on us.

Had visited a spot like this before in the hills so tried where we had had luck before and sure enough we were lucky again - or so we thought. Then we discovered we needed a walk back to the car to get the tool required - lucky we make Knipper dad wear his Swiss Army Pocket-tool after being caught out at clever caches like this before! TFTC
Decided to look low and found this one quickly. Liked the cache and its friend. Left a pathtag. TFTC.
Mary, from AussieM&M, volunteered to hunt for this one and we had it in no time TFTC
Easy find and luckily we had a Swiss army knife handy. Left Eiffel Tower
Found it but unfortunately were not prepared with the appropriate tools to open the cache. For all future cachers take a flathead screwdriver.
Quick find on a hot day, found cache tool close at hand phew!
Swapped pathtags and replaced as quick as I could to get out of the heat

TFTC. Took a wee bit longer than plan, had to return to the car for extra equipment! Left an orange carabiner, took a harp pathtag. Very cool cache. Geoparent enjoyed as well, her second ever cache.
A wonderful little hide, in such a gorgeous location, is easy to see how this would of looked many years ago. Lovely place, lovely cache, thankyou for bringing us out here. Took:Nothing, Left: Random path tag.
We expected to be finding this one with Liz and Bruce, but after the axle on their van broke in Freeling at lunch time today, we spent the next few hours helping them out and waiting for a tow truck to arrive. TNLN, but Trecaz Trakkie TB visited. Thanks miray for a very caravan friendly cache.
found the cache and thought bugger, a day out without the toolkit, not to worry a bit of improvisation by geohubby had us into the cache and singing the log. TFTC
A FTF Geotool worked here now i know why i carry it when geocaching thanks for a good cache
This reminds me of a cache location in Renmark, but this one is in much better nick. As no tool appeared to be on hand used my own (no self respecting cacher would be without one). Took Homer, left a flying crane. Cache #777.
Found ok . We Liked how the cache comes with its own tool kit. Thx miray for the hide.
our 6th catch for the night. Loved the cache but the area made us realise just how haunted it was
Out for an arvo of caching with Little-Geo after the footy...he lost but the girls had a good win!! Our first for the day, great hide interesting cache. Thanks
Second time lucky for us, last time we were focused on the wrong area, but this time I was determined, armed with all the relevant "tools" for the job this cache left me feeling quite pleased with myself. TNLN TFTC
Mr Frog had the right idea early but due to GPSr issues this find took a little while. Clever

This was third time lucky for us, with two previous Dnf's we were very happy to end the draught now. The cache was found in the first place we looked, we are sure that there is no way none that it was there the last two visits, strange thing happen with geocaching
Thanks miray for the cache

Found on my second day caching in this part of Australia. My thanks to miray for the good hint and the cache. There is one in a similar location in I think the Riverland but a different hide.
Found quickly after I bypassed the obvious and looked at the hint
Cute container and thanks for the tool - I was a bit worried at first

Found on a caching day out with demolineux and our new grandson. Thought we were screwed with this one. D of Molineux felt the solution must be close. L: bead T: Sheep ID tag SL
Good hide. Took a couple of looks to find as D's head was in the way the first time! Quite a deceiving cache, luckily an entry tool was included!

Find #13 for the day with the wife & kids in the drizzle. We thought we had this one easily done, as it was a similar structure to one in Renmark. Well we looked & looked & looked but no luck. So I ventured out a bit wider & bingo found it. Darn it, didnt sign the log as I didnt have my toolbox along to open the cache with. TFTC
Our second visit.
Can't believe that we couldn't find it last time, as it took 10 seconds this time.

Great cache. Lots of fun with Team Waldron after an early knock off from work. Found as part a 1,000th cache celebration for Team Waldron. I think we were in a hurray last time because we looked and missed it. This time it was easy! TFTC
Well this cache got the better of me, despite getting down & dirty there was no smilie for me today .
The Noodler was happy that his tool box was in the vehicle to open this cache. Took nothing, left opal.
