On Tuesday, AtTheLakeHouse and I went hiking and caching around Noosa National Park. We walked for 11+ Km's. During that time we found a some of Old caches, three Earthcaches, and some Adventure Labs. It was an excellent day of caching, but additionally, the weather was fantastic and we got to see whales!ATLH had alread found most of these caches, but there were two Trads that she needed and she was also keen for the Km's, as was I. This cache ATLH had already found, so she kindly hung back and let me find it for myself. Amazingly, it was a quick find. Especially considering all the spots it could have been at this feature. The log was signed and then we were off, inland, where there weren't any other caches, but it was the quickest way back to Sunshine Beach. Thanks wishuwell and CDAH55 for keeping this Oldie going.

23-Sep-23
Great spot! Our very first Cache, got lost a couple times following the wrong track but we got there eventually!(Spoiler alert for the photo, its a pic of the hiding spot)

08-Sep-23
Easy to find but not loving the prickle trees. Also don’t like going off tracks as this is not what rangers want.
Love all the tracks though

02-Sep-23
Nice cache. A bit of a hike into the rainforest. Gonna do a tick check after.

07-Aug-23
Didn't find this one.

(Area surrounding generally accessible but would suggest shoes / boots and long trousers / gaiters for foot and leg protection.)

20-Jul-23
Yay we found it! A group effort between all three of us.

16-Jul-23
We defiantly over thought it. Happy hunting guys

13-Jul-23
Went for a stroll with my husband doing some bird watching and I noticed there was a geocache on this path. This was my first find so I was a bit excited.

07-Jul-23
TFTC. Will invest the $5 wisely

06-Jul-23
We made a silly decision to try looking for this cache in the dark long after sunset; took us FOREVER to find! Was admittedly great fun though and very rewarding once found!

P.s. to the next finder: enjoy the small prize we left behind

This was a short walk departing from the trailhead at 09:30 hr. We walked a distance of 1.6 km across a modest elevation of 21 m, with a moving time of 0:30 hr, as per my [Strava record](https://www.strava.com/activities/9024211303).

This was a geocache that we didn't get a chance to visit on Friday's hike, but as it was a Q500 oldie, I was keen at visiting this one prior to our trip's departure. We agreed that this morning would be a good opportunity for a final walk. Surprisingly, we were able find a car park nearby, and then undertook the circuit enjoying the scenery. We did leave the main track to grab this geocache, and it took a few minutes before we found it. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks wishuwell for the cache placement, and CDAH55 for its ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 06/2006 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest yet active geocaches.

----------

During this extended weekend, jesswrigley and I stayed in Noosa Heads. On Friday, we hiked in Noosa National Park visiting Boiling Pot, Dolphin Point, Fairy Pools, and Hell's Gates. On Saturday, I attended the local parkrun followed by a kayak paddle of Lake MacDonald whilst attending the [Four Mountains, Four Directions](https://coord.info/GCA5T0A) event, and then we visited the River Entrance Beach on Noosa Spit towards the north-west in the afternoon. Finally, on Sunday morning, we had breakfast on Hastings Street and then did a small walk in Noosa Heads, before driving back home.

Today, after grabbing breakfast nearby, we visited Noosa National Park once again, and walked the Palm Grove Circuit. We then had one last play in Lions Park after I visited a few remaining target geocaches, and then we drove home across lunch.

After walking our way around, up and over Noosa Hill, we stopped to collect this one in the late afternoon before heading back to the car.
The rainforest and shade were lush, and a lovely change from the sun and coastline.
As we left the pathway, we walked in between two enormous hoop pines.
GZ was found and the log signed on this oldie.
Thanks wishuwell and CDAH55

Out and about with E_Smiley visiting the nearby Earthcaches and we ventured in here to try to find this one. After being lucky enough to get a park on a Sunday we had to at least try while we were here! Turned out a quick find and all in good order. Thanks for the cache. It’s a nice walk through here.
Cheers

#3 Palm Grove at Noosa
D 2.0 T 1.5 Regular Traditional Cache

Got a message from wayn0 he planned to get the caches on his list up the Headlands over the next couple of months. We winged it today knowing tourists will be heading home after lunch on Sundays. It's his fourth drive to Noosa, 3 times he couldn't get a parking. Once, the queue was from the roundabout!

Thanks for the cache and taking us here wishuwell and adopted by CDAH55. Good hint made the search faster! Great to find another oldie.

This walk cache and gz came recommended by a previous finder who just so happened to drop me off at the nearby carpark down the way, so i set off on this mini loop adventure first before tackling the coastal walk itself.
Took a little back and forth, then at the right angle i instantly spotted the uncovered cache.
Thank you cdah55 for keeping this one alive in such a magical location, and thanks wishyouwell for choosing here in the first place.

After the steep walk yesterday. I decided a bit of flat walk today. Noosa headland was my target area today. I needed one of these caches for my D/T grid.
Had a beautiful walk today. A lot of out today so made the car park full.
I found 4 caches today two traditional and 2 earthcache.
Both trads were found all safe and sound.

Finally did the little circuit walk from the car park at Noosa Heads NP. How beautiful!! Little waterfalls everywhere as the rain is still flowing downhill from last weeks torrents. I had the path to myself today too, which was lovely and peaceful. And after walking out to granite bay and back in the hot steamy sun it was a nice respite. Shady and quite a few degrees cooler. GZ was super impressive and made my day. Thanks for keeping this golden oldie alive CDAH!

Went for a walk in the rain with hubby from the hotel. I had thongs on, he bare feet. We walked further than we thought so I decided I needed to go there to grab a cache. Hubby returned to the hotel to go for a run and I went caching. Everyone was happy. This took longer than it should of to find but I got there in the end. Grabbed the TB. TFTC CDAH55
