Eluded my eyes the first scan over but after the second scan it was spotted quickly Nice hide on the way to Sydney for the NRL GF GO THE STORM TFTC
Great Hide, was looking around in the rocks when realised it was on the fence!
Looked under and around the rocks at dark. Couldnt find it, may come back another time
Heading back to ACT from Bathurst/Sydney, parked right next to this one. Tftc
Bear &bee Quick little find getting a win after a few failed finds up the free way TFTC!
Found at night after stopping off for a pie. Try not to wake up the truck drivers TFTC
Quick find on way to snow. Super windy! Didnt have a pen but have pic if CO requires. TFTC
this Service centre was about 3 hours from home, so a good spot for a break. we were headed south to Young, but grabbed this north bound one anyway. i was checking the 1st rock, when i hear Madrabbitoh "found it". TFTC.
Targeting some new LGAs on the way home to Sydney from Kosciuszko. Easy find, TFTC
I can be so inconsistant with logging caches. I will go out and find them, and then never get around to logging them online. So this is me catching up. I need to get out of this bad habit.TFTC!
Outnabout for some solo caching after Canberras Capital Geobash. Found in a break in the weather on my trip homeward. Its always a great day for caching. TFTC Sc00t
During our weeks trip with Bare Foot Guru, Infoferret and Trinity to the Canberra Mega we logged as a combination of "BFG, CF, BIC, BITC" depending on who we were caching with at the time. The trip took us on a flight to Melbourne first, then a drive to Canberra, followed by a drive to Sydney before flying out again. Where possible I will add commentary to each find about the cache. Thanks for all the caches, hides and effort put into hiding and maintaining them.Stopped for petrol and toilet en route to Sydney. Quick find
An expedition with Crystal Fairy & Barefootguru to the 'West Island '. Most logs signed as BIC to save space and time. 2 April 2024 10:01 Number 14040 TFTC Sc00t (Team Booya) The Bushies !Stopped for petrol, a pie (King island beef pie, not at all bad), and a QEF!I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.
*** draft log for stats tracking, more later ***GCWN4V McForest2 April 2024T10:03:21 AEDTTFTC Sc00tA quick stop for petrol, chocolate and a cache! BIC
On the way up the road from Canberra to pick up the in laws from Argentina! Stopped in here for a cheeky coffee and a cacheall good at ground zero!Quick find, log signed and time to hit the road again. Thanks!
I have been watching this cache since our previous DNF. Today bunadoorian and I were out to turn this into a yellow smile! It was nice to actually find it this time. We stopped for lunch here on our way to Forster Tuncurry. TFTC and for bringing us here Sc00t ( Team Booya) The Bushies.
Grub62 and I put in a DNF quite a while ago and were going past again and thought we would drop by and correct things. After a bit of a search I read previous logs and noticed some corrected coordinates. After changing them a quick find was had. TFTC.
Yep grabbed it given the description by Martin cousins. I needed some lunch and this was a date I wanted for something of a quad jasmer. Really damn cold here today!TFTC
Coordinates changed from:S 34 36.418 E 150 13.483Coordinates changed to:S 34 36.421 E 150 13.589Distance from original: 531.1 feet or 161.9 meters.Updating coordinates.
Found It!I found this one using the coordinates in Martin cousins' log. The listed coordinates are very wrong.TFTC
A geocaching day out with Brewmaker, Its_Dozzie, MaxAdventurer, Martin Cousins and EverestHigh. Log signed with the abbreviated signature BIMME4. TFTC.
Found at S3436.421 E150 13.589It is a bison hanging on a fence behind a big rock, thanks to the previous geo maintenance
13,360A great day out to Bungonia Park for the 'Chill @ The Grill event'. Together with 4Rods, Martin Cousins, MaxAdventurer, Everest High and Brewmaker we drove down from Sydney. In total I ticked off 51 caches, wich is not bad for a day out! After searching at the wrong place, we checked the logs and discovered we had to walk another 150 meter to find the bison. I am puzzled why the CO has not updated the cache page and the posted coordinates.TFTC Sc00t
Hi have come back from travelling and been out to McForest and checked it out. Yes the fence has gone and cache also. Have moved it to another spot in the car park Cheers
Hi Sc00t,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 4 weeks to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.Ngaambul - Matt
Unfortunately bunadoorian and I had two good looks for this one. One with a previous finder and unfortunately apparently the fence has been replaced. I needed a cache a particular distance from home for a challenge cache in Victoria. Luckily I was able to find one close by.
Grub62 and I had a fair attempt at finding this cache and later a cache owner of a nearby cache came over to assist. But no luck today. I understand that the area has been altered with a different fence.
Area was pretty disgusting with poo and needles laying around. Humans can be gross. Cache found and hightailed it out of there
Ocw the Bebes to clear up a few before we head off around Australia. A quick park and grab. Shame about the rubbish. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa
We’ve driven past this quartet of caches so many times, decided to stop for them today.
Used a TOTT to retrieve this one.
The amount of rubbish on the floor says a lot about the customer base of thus outlet !

Looked all around the corner of the fence. Lots of trash around the area though. Good luck!
So, I just had a steroid injection in my heel to sort out the constant pain and stiffness, I was warned 'do not walk on it'. Aquilus1 had just had her 4th covid shot the day before, could not move her arm at all and was in constant pain.
It was raining.
Therefore, we should embark on a caching trip, and thats what we did.
We meandered around the fedral highway to Mittagong before diverting to Kiama in search of a fast car charger that was actually working. Did lots of labs, multiple virtuals and the odd trad we were already driving past.
On the way back really found out how battery draining driving up the escarpment was.....but there was no stress really....still had 2% battery when I plugged in at Sutton Forest. All and all a great little loop.

Out with GreyHams for a weekend of a few caches... the plan was Bowral but we modified along the way and ended up in Woolongong! Worked out well and a number of AL's, Virtuals, Earthcaches and oldies found along the way. Great weather at the coast, scenery was great too and the food from Fishnets take away the very best! Thanks for your cache that helped guide us through the area!
Found okay.. or felt but wow it wasn't coming out and was stuck well in. Took some Macgyvering but we got to it. Plugged it to hopefully stop it from happening again. Love the old ones!

By the time we found a suitable parking place it was a bit of a walk back, but good for the legs. There was little traffic while we were there, so it was easy to get to GZ.
It was time to move on from Goulburn today, but only a short distance to Mossvale.
We did the usual however and stopped to pick up a number of caches along the way, some with short diversions needed.
We also did one waypoint of and Adventure Lab and fully completed another en route. This afternoon we did some further caching as we looked round town. A lot were quite wet, but as Gippslanders from Victoria we understand that is what happens when you have weather like we have had.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Sc00t.

Stopped here on the way home. Wanted to show daughter the cache we'd found before she was born. Saw dnf from last week and went to check if it was where I thought it was. Yep, still safe and secure.
Look along the fence and the Wooden fence. not find and hint was not very helpful. If it was on the ground it would be under the dirt as that has just recently come.
After orienteering at Penrose State Forest this morning, I was keen to refuel the body at the golden arches and find a couple of caches in the process! After finding the other cache on this side first, I made my way over to this one. There were a couple of cars parked here but I wasn't concerned intially because they were empty. But as I walked around, I'm not sure who got the bigger surprise - me or the guy kneeling behind one of the cars in the middle of prayer! After apologising for disturbing him, therein ensued a very funny conversation of me explaining what I was doing lurking around this spot. Me: "Sorry, don't mind me. I'm not doing anything dodgy, I'm doing something called geocaching". Him: "tree gazing?". Me: "no, geocaching". Him, slowly: "tree.... caching?". Me: "G-e-o....." Eventually we got there. Him, excitedly:"Oh! Like Pokemon go!!!". Me: "Ummm... Kind of, but not really". Proceed to explain the differences. Him, curiously: "So what do you get for finding it?! Can you like, cash it in for money?!". Me: "Uh no, it's just like cool to get lots of finds and discover new places". In the end he thought it was pretty cool and wished me luck After all that, this was a reasonably quick find of the cleverly hidden cache, my 7th for today. Many thanks for hiding and maintaining!
Oddly enough we are 800 kilometres from home and while walking between the 2 caches here, we bump into our neighbour who was working and filling up the service stations petrol tanks. Not sure what the odds are of that happening, but I guess I should buy a lottery ticket.
Not the nicest area, and it took longer than expected because I just didn't see it the first time.
Thanks for the cache Sc00t and Team Booya

Find 237 for the tribe.
A quick stop for a toilet break for the geokids and the geodog gave me the oppurtunity to hunt for this one and it's neighbour this afternoon.
After a brief hunt and reading a couple of logs the cache was located in good order and condition. Glad there was no need to hunt through any rubbish. Who knows what is in there.
Signed the lovely fresh logbook and replaced as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. Stop, cache, revive, survive!

Went out and did a maintenance run for Sc00t. Yes this one had dropped of.
Have replaced with new cache and log. All good to go again.
Sorry about all the mess.
Will try and relocate it in the next month to somewhere nearby that is a bit cleaner.
Cheers The Bushies.

This wasn’t far from the “take a break cache” so I dove in. Thanks very much for the cache!
Found with a little help from the logs, thank you.
It is full of water, but fun to find!!!

Found the cache, a bit hard to put back. Needs a bit of maintenance; the log is wet and mouldy. Got caught by some muggles. Tftc!
What a great hide - found in the dark
A tall reach around and everything will click out of place

Stopped off on the way home from Canberra and was pleased to see there was something find nearby. A clever hide. TFTC.
3.30pm officially logged this cache. Yes, Mrs ToC remembered where it was. Thanks for the cache *The Bushies*.
Mr ToC wanted to get outdoors on such a beautiful day. Mrs ToC wasn't organised enough. It just happened that she noticed some caches that needed checking and a couple of other caches that were new. Off we went to check on a nearby cache one for the CO, and then headed out to check on the other, only to discover the CO had already been. Oh well, a double check was done, plus it kept Mr ToC quiet. Back into the freeway and as I was due Chocolate thick shake for agreeing to a hair cut, we went to Maccas. Suddenly we were chasing an abundance of *Munzee* QR codes. As I needed to officially log this cache that seemed to find its way into the fun. Oh dear Mrs ToCs phone is going flat ... 5%. Time to go home, no charger in the car.

Found on 15 Aug 2015 as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch*. Thank you for the hide.
Today with *DustyJasperJet* we both found the cache and signed our initials *DJJ LP*, so I am now official.

Heading home today, after 4 days of a little boys caching roadtrip, covering parts of Sydney, Blue Mountains, Bathurst, Orange, Parkes, Gundagai, Canberra and Goulburn, and a bunch of little spots in between. We assaulted every second tourist attraction involving dinosaurs, and managed about 90 finds, with only a few DNFs. We've let plenty to come back soon!
This was a bit tricky, I eventually got it by feel. One of those hints that only helps after you've got the cache in hand.... The cache is perishing in the heat/UV, and I suspect soon will end up on the ground.... TFTC
