As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Major construction work being done at the moment and area is totally fenced off. All trees removed, will check again one work complete and replace cache if needed.
v It seems that the current development may have eaten up this cache. We were not able to get even close. Our co-ords indicated that this one may have been well and truly dug up. Owner may need to have a look
Followed Grotto's lead and snuck under the fence. Went at night for more stealth (or suspicion, depending on your view point) and found in relatively good time. TNLN
Snuck under the fence. Pleasant park in a sad state of repair. Didnt bother the ducks or the maneating swans though

Tried to gain access but all of the lines of approach were blocked with fences without any clear way in. The previous gaps must have since been closed off. Will try again after whatever work is being done is complete.
Were able to find an entrance not blocked to sneak in carefully... other logs in book since 20th feb note here, so they must have done same!
Took nothing - left glow in the dark slug

All entrances blocked by fences due to park redevelopment. Suggest waiting until work is finished before attempting this one
Eleventh of 14 finds on the way to Adelaide Airport in company with acts2youthgroup. We didn't see maccamob's log until we were approaching the area. However, he had a shoofty, and found a sizable gap in the fence. There weren't any "Keep Out" signs, and no workmen in evidence, so we ducked in, found the cache at 1120, and ducked out again. I made no exchange. Thanks to ravenit for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Twelfth of Fifteen cache finds on day four of the "The Big Adelaide Assault" the cache was found at 11:20 in company with dak's Emu Mob. We came across the fence and walked along it only to find an entrance that you could easily ride a bike through, the cache was soon found and logged. The lake has seen better days.
Thanks ravenit
Thanks ravenit
No joy here today. We arrived to find the duck pond completely surrounded by a fence. The cache won't be accessible until the work (whatever it is) is finished.
Cute park, lake looks like its finished now. I was guided to the destination by two turtle which popped their head up when they recognised a fellow reptile. Knew I was on the right trail! TNLN Cheers
Found at 5:30 PM. Nice water park, but seemed to walk a long way but not go very far! Easy find when you read the hint!
Visited by two beautiful black swan whilst doing the paperwork
Took Brown Cow and left Green Cricket.

Went for a bike ride to find this one only 1km from home, although we had to walk our bikes for the last few hundred metres.
Took the dino to make room for Cousin Caterine TB. This was an ideal dropoff for her, as we saw another small tortoise swimming in the water nearby.
Always a pleasant location to visit not far from home, and a change for us to come here without grandchildren wanting to feed ducks. Thanks for encouraging us to come again ravenit.

Found the cache and then found where we should have parked to get there easier. Nice little park. TNLN TFTC
Found at 0945. A beautiful spot - would be nice to live here although Justin doesn't like the aroma left by some of the locals on the lawn nearby.
A pleasent little area, lots of ducks, even the young ones knew were bread comes from.

Enjoyed the walk through the potential mosquito farm but we didn't bring any bread for the locals. TNLN.
It is great to search for a cache in such green and beautiful surroundings, unlike our dust bowl dog box estate back in Vic. After finding the best way to the cache location we set of and enjoyed the lake and surrounding park. Arriving at GZ it took a few minutes before the cache was found and logged at 1.20pm.
Many thanks to Ravenit for bringing us to this location, this would be a nice place to live.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "If I lived here there would be many, many caches placed" Clan.

TNLNSL Thanks, 14 of 14 for the day.

The hardest part of this cache was finding how you get into the lake! We were driving around at night and couldn't see the small paths into the wet stuff. When we eventually got in, it was a nice walk around checking out the houses and the ducks. An easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Finding our way in here was a bit of a trick. Tom tom was little help here and we thought we might have trouble avoiding all the muggles sitting in their backyards in the "cool"(still pretty hot, even after dark), of the evening. Turned out to be easy. Took a chook and left a cow. Thanks.
Half considered crossing over the lake where it came together (we were on the wrong side), but, the stroll was very pleasant. There were some very cute little black water ducklings/birds (you would think a penguin could identify fellow birds!) but unfortunately we had no bread. Thanks for an enjoyable cache.
Seems like you need a dog to enter this place as every muggle had one with them. The ducks and other birds demanded feeding but had no food. Maybe this place should be called duck lake.

Went for a morning stroll equipped with take away coffee and boy was it windy! Found with my toddler an SKIZM, pretty little spot, workman on other side of fence haha very strange to have a muggle so close.

Had an audible but invisible muggle behgind me building a brush fence. I could hear him breathing and panting, but couldn't see him. Logged the find. Btw, it was fun staring at the dental patients through the picture window on the way in! Thanks
Found it fine, then took a seat... black ducks charged at us making hissing noises! Not every day you find a cache with guards! Moved away some distance before the ducks stopped chasing. Took clock (needs to be adjusted for daylight savings), left two fish in honour of the huge carp in the ponds. They're everywhere, dozens of them all about 30 - 40 cm. So if you're in to that, don't just bring bread, bring a line too!

TNLNSL - Thanks for the hunt. Really like the disruption to the urban surrounds!

LankyOne and I dropped in on this on the way to Outer Harbour this morning. With the City Bay on, not much in the way of muggles. Took nothing, but left a plastic chook (close as we could get to a duck) (I know it wasn't themed). TFTC
Very neatly hidden, put it back exactly. We suffered a severe midge attack! TNLNSL. TFTC BB.
Started going Quackers as the GPSr was not playing the game in this area 30m this way, 30m that way, no 30m back the other way then we decided to wing it and tardar we got it

Nice spot - when my oldest was very little, he got distracted whilst wizzing on a tree here and managed to wizz on a duck - it wasn't very happy, but we didn't meet him again today.
The whole emeryco team in the dark after shopping at the mall. Walked right up to it. Took crayons, left big crayon. Thanks
Kurt wanted to geocache after school as a birthday treat - he found this one with joy! Thanks ravenit. Left stress ball.
Just dropped Mrs Erm + the geokids off at AAMI stadium, thought that I'd try and attempt a couple of cache's in the area. Silly me, couldn't even find a park within 600 meters of GZ. Will return.
Found this one after seeing the Crows beat Melbourne at AAMI stadium. Lovely park, pity it was dark by the time we got there.
Took Roving Docker TB as it looks like Freo will be playing the Crows there in a weeks time and it might need a head start to get to Melbourne in time for the following weeks game.
Left Red Double TB.
Will have to come back here in daylight to have a good look around.TFTC

A quick find, once I got onto the right side anyway. Much more attractive area than many of these man made areas. TN, left a calling card. TFTC!
A lovely spot, we never knew this existed. Found very quickly by dogma (she reads the logs best). Took GeoCoin & left a minnie mouse. TFTC.
Found by Team GeoCoopers.
Drove around for a bit watching the pointer to GZ not getting any closer. Parked the car and found a way in, what a nice little hideaway.
Thanks Rave-N-It

great cache ,in a really nice spot, had some friends with us today who are locals who were unaware of this spot.thanks for the cache.
33rd find of 34 for the day.
Took us ages to find our way in but we eventually made it - again, we used the hint and were grateful for it.
Thanks to RavenIT for the cache.

What a great secret little world this is. I bet the local guard it jealously . Had to take a seat on the bench for about 15 minutes while a group of residents pottered about fixing one of their fences. Spent the time admiring the serenity and wildlife and wishing we hadn’t left the thermos in the car . Made no swaps but grabbed the Coco TB. Thanks for bringing us here Ravenit .
First find for the day.
Cold and raining when I approached GZ.
Under the cover of my Parrot umbrella I retrieved the cache.
TN left the TB Monkey for cacher who says ni!

Finding a park without removalist vans clogging the street was interesting in itself. Parked around the corner, which I was to find later was beneficial, as it was closish to gz.
Found easily, but was unable to log the find. There was no pen in the cache, and I not one on me either.
Could the next finder take a pen and log me in the log please.

Quick, quick.
Lovely area this afternoon. I did not realise that this pond went for ever.

One of the great things I like about Geocaching is finding places I have never been before. This was one of them. Found the cache easily. BTW don't try to take a short cut across the lake via the concrete weir as it is slippery. Just go around the long way.
I tip-toed to the cache very carefully. I looked for a while before I found a safe spot on the seat to sit down. There was even a warning sign deployed -(see pic). Left a screw driver, TN.
Surprised to get this second FTF so late in the day.
Thanx again ravenit, clear skies, TeamAstro [^]
