I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:
- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.
Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

I can not see a "Needs Maintenance" log on this cache; see the Help Centre, http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=551
If you find a geocache that is in need of some help (e.g. container is cracked, logbook is full or wet, cache seems to be missing, etc., etc.), making direct contact with the CO via email and acquainting them of your observation is preferable as the first step.
You can also post a "Needs Maintenance" log on the cache page so the cache owner and the community are notified. This log adds an attribute to the page (looks like a colored cross) to alert the CO as well as other geocachers of the needed repairs. Needs Maintenance logs are not forwarded to reviewers.
If you have no response from the cache owner then I'd suggest using a Needs Archive Note. Except for in the most extreme cases, it's normally best to give the cache owner a chance to fix the issue before alerting the reviewers.
However, it does seem as though CO intervention might be appropriate, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can . . . . . . . and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 . . . . . . . . . . I have disabled it for you this time! [^]
Please respond to this situation by 12th March to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.[/blue]

Looked for quite a while at GZ, couldn't find it anywhere... Last few people haven't found it either... Maybe it's been muggled?
Nice find, even saw a few rabbits running around TFTC

Thanks! What a great spot! Lovely arvo walk with the dogs. New to this. 2nd find for me and hubby.
Another find by Jr Cacher Flopsy the Bunny, with Noelle 04 in attendance. TFTC solomonfamily.
My second find in this park today after finding nearby The Colour of Milo. Glad it wasn't misty as I think I would have got lost in the maze like vegetation. What a retro cache container!
Thanks to solomonfamily for the great hide.

Suscoe's 3rd find of 40 for today as we wandered around this part of Melbourne.
A cold and chilly start to the day was followed by some delightful sun.
A quick walk to GZ and a quick find.
Nice to find a solomonfamily cache here after meeting them at Murray Bridge. Hope you are all going along ok!

Hello from Newcastle, NSW!!! Found this one on my last day in Melbourne, not too far from where I was staying. I remember coming to this park so so so many times as a child, completely oblivious to the geocaching possibilities! I dropped off TB Totoro, whom I brought down with me from Port Stephens, NSW. He wants to head back to Japan! Also picked up a cool coin and left a painted surfboard. Cheers!
Arthur and Dent together with MasterIschi decided to come back for another cache run to grab a few caches out here and along the Yarra river. Many thanks to all cache owners for all the effort they put into their caches.

Good afternoon bike ride, picnic lunch and play in the parkwith the family. Have not got a cache for a fair while.
Decided to try my luck and try all three caches in the park this afternoon. Found after a brief search. Have not seen one of these old containers in some time, plenty of room for swaps and TBs, I had none on me to trade today. TFTC solomon family, a nice peaceful part of the park to come for a walk and a cache.
Wow it looks very dry here at moment. After pulling up in the car park and a slightly cicuitous wander to avoid the picnickers using the shelter, I was soon plonk on top of GZ. No troubles locating this nicely sized container. Thanks for the cache.
Find #1114 logged at GZ at 16:11, will update shortly.... T4TC solomonfamily!
A lovely day to get out and find a few caches - our second of the day and of the new year. TFTC.
This was a very hard one to find.
We went with some other friends. We tried to avoid snakes and we did

Took Master D and the dog out for a play ... Used to come to this park a lot years ago and it was nice to come back. Found this groovy cache quickly , reminded me of my mums kitchen when I was younger! TFTC
Hevic and I had some spare time up our sleeves this afternoon so we went to grab some caches in the area. We had a nice little walk as she showed me a part of her childhood, then once her phone started behaving we wandered up to GZ and found the cache within moments. A nice spot with a good hide. Cheers solomonfamily!
Passing by we have not visited for a while found a tb inside debated should ee take it - yes in the end ee did. Cache in good condition
Nice spot, relatively easy find, once the two rabbits holding court at GZ had bounded off. I LOVE the container, almost too good for a cache... It was a little exposed so I tried to hide it a bit more when putting it back. TFTC
Quick easy find. Had to dodge lots of holes in the ground on the was to GZ. Maybe wombats? Took bat left bubble stickers x 2
Very quite today easy find as there was a golden madalion on ground near by GZ thanks for hide
TFTC! took several minutes to find, even after getting within 5 metres! 3 year old fascinated by all the contents. Took a purple crayon and left a small windup tiger toy.
Had not planned to get this one today
Stopped in the park for a late lunch and realised how close we were
So off we went and it took us a while to find and was not that easy to get to

Great day out geocaching with the geokids. Took highlighter left "winner" gold medal. Enjoyed getting off the paved track for this one.
Out on a Sunday morning with the family and Team Val for some caching fun. This one didn't take too long, certainly the container is a familiar one I recall from growing up. Just as we were looking a group of several adults and about a dozen kids approached. At first we figured they were caching too, but in fact on an easter egg hunt! They passed by without comment, more intent on their game that what we were doing. Cache was retrieved, examined for swaps by kids and then returned. Left a little fox badge, took a troll. Also a little whistle was taken, not sure what was left for that one. TFTC.
Out in Banyule River Flats setting an orienteering course for next week and grabbing the od cache as I go.
Quick find on the way home.

Nice park and a nice walk. Cool cache container too. Had a great time, but probably should have worn sunscreen. TFTC
How embarrassing we could not find our own cache for min or three.
All good just came for lunch.

Out and about with the geokids this morning looking for caches with playgrounds nearby and this one fitted nicely. We walked back from milo and had plenty of muggles to dodge til we left the track. Cache found easily with spot on coords. Thanks solomonfamily for the cache and for a reason to visit here.

Found this one today. I made life hard for myself and ended up bushbashing a bit. I was sitting there and saying to myself this cache is so not a terrain 1 cache. Then I found where the cache was and realised that it was a terrain 1 cache after all and I had just made it so much harder than it needed to be. Signed log but didn't swap anything.
Thanks for the cache solomonfamily.

Was going for a walk around the park and decided to pick up this cache on the way. GPS signals played up a bit but looked for a spot where it could have been. After a bit of investigating found the cache. Took trackable to move on
Found on a sunny Sunday walk
Lot of muggles around but no problem funding as the GZ is well hidden from paths

Easy one to find during a picnic after completing a Miss M3's school Amazing Race type thingio.
Found this cache after finding The Colour of Milo, the other cache that is here in Birrarrung Park. I left Hands the Duck TB here for someone else to tack traveling. Hopefully he won't have to wait too long. TFTC.
I noticed that Birrarrung Park had a couple of caches and thought it would also be a great place to take the geobeagles for walkies. We did the nearby The colour of milo (GCWTJW) and continued on to this one. The GPSr took us right to GZ where we found the hide easily and signed the log at 4:20pm. Took: small dice, Left: a stretchy frog, which I thought suited the location.
Thanks solomonfamily for the cache and for bringing us to such a lovely spot. The geobeagles loved the smell of rabbits (we saw lots) and we enjoyed the scenic views of the Yarra. [^]

Found at 14.50 on 15 August 2012 - a cold blowy day. It must have been the trees but the GPS was swinging around wildly. Got there in the end though! I left a fairy. I don't know why I leave fairies but I once got a job lot of them and have been leaving them as a calling card ever since. Trouble is the local emporium doesn't have any more of that type.
#59 Found it after a little while on the second attempt. Great cache! TFTC solomonfamily!
A nice little walk on a rainy day. Not sure why we didn't do this earlier in the year when we were in the park looking for 'the colour of milo'. TFTC
Had an hour to kill before dinner and was in the area. I used to come to this park a whil back when I lived in the area. It has sure grown and looks great. TFTC. TNLNSL
Found with nirgalagrin... now I have my own account.

The little one enjoyed rabbit spotting as we cut across the scrub from one cache to the other. A tupperware container was soon having its innards inspected while I signed the log.

Little bit of a bush bash because i could not be bothered walking the long way around, love that. Found the cache quickly at gz, old school container, expected a biscuit to be inside. SLTNLN, TFTC.
Wandered through the bush with rabbit burrows everywhere, then searched an area and made the find

Find # 1734
I headed out today despite the misty rain that had just started, I was determined to get another ten caches today as I have set myself a target of getting my 2000th cache at Groundspeak Headquarters in Seattle when I go there in August. I estimate I need another 200 caches before I leave Australia. Today the plan was to start near Heidleberg and then head towards Eltham area.
After finding the nearby milo, I headed towards this one. This area is a real maze of small to medium shrubs. While walking through, I saw quite a few rabbits. I eventually arrived at GZ and made the find quite quickly.... Wow, a real tupperware container, you dont see that too often.
Thanks to solomon family for the cache and for bringing me to this nice location. TNLN.

What may be a lovely spot for a family picnic by day becomes a challenging maze at night. Enjoyed the meander and the container. Thanks for the cache.
Found with drjim7 and Bonnie the West Highland White. Both Jim's and my 999th cache. Bonnie doesn't keep count but in some ways she is the most enthusiastic cacher in the family, often barking at us to take her caching when we just want to go to bed. Anyway, I loved the container and I'm proud to report that I remember my mum buying a set of the very same ones at a Tupperware party when I was a kid. She still used it as a biscuit tin. Just goes show that if you buy quality it will last. This was a fine adventure for which I thank you solomonfamily.

Visiting Melbourne, check. Had dinner, check. Kids asleep, check, 90 mins before a good TV show starts, check. Nearby caches to find, check! TFTC!
We entered the park and read the closing time on the gate and it said 9:00pm and it was 10 mins to 9 so we thought that would be fine, so we drove in and looked for the cache without a GPS and we were unsuccessful so we left and while we approached the gate it was slowly closing so we didn't risk ourselves and waited behind the gate. Nothing happened. We rung Parks Victoria and they said they would put us on to the park ranger and he said that all we needed to do was drive up close to the gate and it would open automatically! How embarrassing!! Anyway, thank you solomonfamily for bringing us to this great spot and letting us see the millions of rabbits and wildlife out there.
Today we found a gift card for JB that was only a few days from expiring, so down to the shops we had to go. We made a completely unnessessary purchase and were keen to go home and play with it, but we had planned some caches for the afternoon so some caches we had to get. We parked in the nearby car park and headed off for a short walk to pick up the cache. We were able to find the cache easily and signed it. As we walked back to the car, we met some blokes who at first I thought must be cachers, but now I'm not so sure. Thanks for the cache solomfamily.
