No response to a needs maintenance log posted earlier and cache has not been found all this year.
Found this one YEARS ago when i didnt even know what caching was. tried again a second time no luck. granted it was dark!!!!
We looked carefully but it was no where in sight. Lots of overgrown weeds and a new looking terraced garden may have contributed?
Had a very good look around here and was not able to find this cache today. The terrain that I was searching in was definitely a terrain 2.0 where I didn't want to have young children around. I also looked other places that were lower terrain but where the clue and description led me was terrain 2. It will be worth an owner check on this cache to see if it is still there and if the terrain rating has changed.
Out and about with Dutch Frangipani for a days caching in Sunbury and surrounds for her to try out her new GPS. It was an extremely hot and tiring day.
Searched high and low for this one and then decided to read the previous logs and noticed a lot of DNF's. Perhaps this one needs checking to see if it is still there.

Cool bridge. I looked for this cache before and today got it after a short search

My regular caching partner was away on holidays, so I put the call out onto the Melbourne Facebook group and ended up with Two volunteers (lochb and Nufrat) to go caching with me early on Sunday morning. It started off quite a cool and overcast morning but turned out to be a beautiful 20+ degree afternoon, perfect caching weather. We had decided to head out to Sunbury and find as many caches as we could find.
I recognised this spot as we were driving along, but after a short search we came up empty handed. CO may want to check this one.

Time to archive this one and make space for a new cache? No luck on the company of ahomburg and nufrat.
Found the remains of it, but the cache is history.

Needs maintenance or archiving
This entry was edited by Dog-gone on Saturday, 13 October 2012 at 19:55:47 UTC.
Went looking for this cache while working/caching in Sunbury. I was heading towards the co-ords then decided to check on the log notes. Sadly I discovered that Dog-gone had been there earlier in the day and reported it trashed. Hope it gets replaced as it's a lovely location.
D.N.F. today but what a beautiful spot the old bluestone archers are a credit to the way they were built and still solidly standing. We will have to come back.
Stopped here on our way out of town for caching day with the Walenators heading towards Bendigo. No luck today with this one.
30/06/2012 13:08 Sue and I stopped here on the way to our cottage in Bendigo. The most recent logs looked discouraging but I forged ahead anyway. Approaching GZ I see that the council has been busy felling trees and I needed to make my way forward by climbing through the branches. At GZ it only took a moment to find the cache given that I had read the hint. I am not sure what has happened here, perhaps the CO has been by but the container is in good condition and interestingly attached to another well known type of cache container. Logbook is intact and inside its zip lock bag. I signed the log whilst the wife took pictures with my S3 as she now knows more about the camera functions than I! TFTC wombat warriors TNLN SL
Going by the logs this might have been a nice cache but their really isn't anything left of it. Just some peaces of paper scrunched into a smashed tube.
It appears as if previous needs maintenance have been ignored if not fixed soon maybe the next person could recommend it for the archive.
After much searching and time with The 2 Wanderers(who had previously found this cache) we were not able to find it. We will return and try again!

Today found myself required to perform the task of "dropping someone off at the airport" at a rather early time I must say. However I saw the positive aspect to this as it would give me an excuse to do some caching in the surrounding areas. Been meaning to get out this way for awhile as its not a part of Melbourne I need to visit often. Overall today's run resulted in 34 finds an epic result.
7th find today and this one wasn't easy so to find. Found my self all over GZ in the middle of the trees and along the wall and even the bridge. But once I checked the hint and did a closer inspection the cache was finally spotted. Very nice work, a favorite for me. TFTC wombat warriors.

Last attempt today! Found about 4m from where GPS was pointing, all dry and neat. Obviously been fixed.

A quick find as it was totally exposed. We removed some old logs that were sodden and unreadable and dampening the newer bits of paper in the cache. We placed it back where we thought it should be. The silicone holding the container is completely detached from it. This one needs a check urgently. Thanks.
Found with team moo
Found very quickly, but ouch watch out master six had a nasty run in with a blackberry bush... But I'll be back in blackberry season!!
Great little spot hope this cache gets the TLC it needs soon

Found number 25 for Team Mooo on a trip out with Spotty Teapot.
A quick easy find as the sun came down. I think it would have been a trickier find if it had been hidden where it was originally intended. Unfortunately due to damage it had separated and so was sitting (kind of) in view.
Most of the log pages were wet to the point of mush, but we signed the couple of dry pages that were there.
This log really needs some attendance.

This cache is in desperate need of maintenance. The container is coming off the camo and there is only a few spots on the log to sign which is a couple of pieces of paper that someone has put in there. A great hide but the maintenance is needed urgently.
Was out at Diggers Rest-Sunbry area today and thought we'd give this one another go. Found it nice and easy today and wonder why we didn't get it the other day. The cache is in need of attention from the owners.

Well we think cache blindness has got us on this one. We had 3 people looking but had no luck so all we can say is "WE'LL BE BACK"!!
This one took us about 10 minutes to find, we didn't know whether to look up top or down below. I was in the right area but overlooked the cache, so it's pretty well hidden.
Found whilst out on a big day of caching with LouiseAnn and Danozz. I let some fish go here.
Found cache after a long hard search! Great location, very cleverly done!

Danozz and I had a big day of caching planned for the Sunbury area. We had solved a couple of puzzles in preparation and were ready to go. At the last minute we added Fekx to the caching party and headed out. We arrived and parked the car in the large parking area and headed into hunt around. Fekx and I had an idea where the cache might be, but it turned out Danozz was on the right track. We hunted around for a while and made the find while Fekx found some fish in a net by the river. He let them go. Thanks for the cache wombat warriors
Found on lunch break. been wanting to stop here for a while. Ground a little muddy but not too bad. Loved the camo.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found myself out in Sunbury for a work appointment, and always delighted to explore new territory that I've never seen before - Usually we're off this road by the airport and rarely venture beyond!
Saw this one approach so pulled off into a thankfully empty carpark and made the short stroll to GZ. Tried one approach which failed me, so made another which looked far more promising. After a moment of headscratching I examined a spot and the cache was revealed first go. Very nicely constructed bit of work there Great spot to take in the bridge too... Great bit of history there, and all around this town to be honest.
Then, as I was driving off I passed the council offices and realised that i HAVE been here before - many years ago for a job interview! Well, it's great to be back and this cache was the start of a really interesting morning spent in this surprisingly nice little area.

Found with Aveen. There was a muggle playing bagpipes gaurding the bridge! But using stealth we retrieved the cache
Found at a beautiful 1st birthday party in the park with family and friends. Was joined caching with a few geonewbies who enjoyed themselves and who I may just have converted to the game

A sleepless night at the Plod House pondering why I and others could not find this one. I was up at 6:00am still baffled, so after a lengthy geo-conference with 'Dylan 7a' we just had to come back and try again to get this cache and 'redeem ourselves'.
This time it took a few minutes - the clue, the GPSr - and that was really all needed.
So, this evening, two Cachers in different parts of the metropolis rested well, content again that all is right in Geocaching land.
Thanks to 'wombat warriors' for the fun we had with this one.

The DNF yesterday annoyed me that much that I went to Sunbury just to find this Cache, picking up The Quiet Plodder on the way. The Cache was located quickly after yesterdays failure by all. TFTC
spent a long time looking for this one. should have found it but the 4 of us could not locate it after a lengthy search.Dylan7a, The Quiet Plodder, Morphoist and Metro menace. i can see us returning soon.
Struth, this one baffled me and my caching companions (Dylan 7a, The Morphoist and Metro Menance).
We did everything but actually find the cache - searching high, low, sideways, always and byways. I even 'meditated' on where this one might be but all I received in my minstrations were the words, 'It is there you geo-goose, ha, ha!' Hrrrrmmmppphhhh! I cringe with geo-dumbness when I realise how long we spent trying to hunt this one down. We read every log, every hint and even made up a few of our own to succour our efforts but no avail.
At least I know this magnificent old Bluestone Bridge intimately now, as indeed its surronds, ramparts/walls and I fear I'll be having 'geo-dreams' about this cache set by 'wombat-warriors'. I envisage waking up at 3:00am in a cold sweat, shaking and mumbling 'But IT must be THERE!'.
I am sure other Cachers with better geo-sense and better eyesight will nab this in a blink and bring shame upon this plodder and his geo-friends.
At the least it's now to be 'watched' and I am sure in the near future a return trip to Sunbury just for this one will be in offing (as well as to do some photography of the Bridge).
The blame list of geo-flunkers is as follows : me (The Quiet Plodder), Dylan 7a (who has much better eyesight than me), The Morphoist (who is younger and more high tech literate) and Metro Menance (is younger again, more lissom and a keener geo-nose and should have found it).
We'll be back!

Awesome spot, I came down here parking as a teenager. Quick find, but disappointed the log is soaking wet and chocker block full. We signed a slip of paper someone else has put in there. Hopfully the co will tend to this cache as it is worth saving. Added favorite. Thanks.
2nd in a bad run of 4 dnf's. I thought I looked in the right sort of places, but nevermind, the bridge was well worth it. The stone arch bridges around here are very impressive.
A huge day of caching that started in the wee hours of the morning and ended at about 9:30pm with one exhausted trail runner. I had agreed to pick up my caching buddy jsmyong55 at a reasonable hour and when we had finished he and he had added another 120 caches or so to his tally. It was a nice way to end our partnership as J is heading back to Malaysia soon. It will be hard to find someone to cache with that can fill his shoes.
I apologise to all the CO’s for using a generic log but after the 130+ caches for the day for me I’m too exhausted to even think of writing an individual log for each. Thanks to each and every one of you.

Went looking for this one.
Spent about 5-8 minutes looking for it and was not able to find.
Then a family with dogs came around the area and won't go away.
So I had to abandon the search for the day and come back again to look for it.

Nice very nice hide! clever and well thought out! Took a little while to pin down as the GPS had me going up and down the side of the bridge. The cammo is brilliant and made it harder on the falling light.
Personal score 8.5/10

It seems that the fiancé and I are making a habit of taking a Sunday drive out to Woodend for wedding research.
Well since wedding planning has taken over my geocaching, I've started having withdrawals.. Today I wanted to fit in a few on our Sunday drive.
I don't know why we couldn't find this the last time I was here with lochb and robmc. I seem to be in lucky company and the fiancé located it immediately. We'll blame darkness shall we...

Loved the hide but cache needs urgent maintenance!!! Found at 3pm. The log looks like it has been nibbled by lots of moths and is weather worn and fragile, so we signed the log anywhere we could, certainly not chronologically. TFTC

Not sure if it was just me or the Oregon or a bad day for coverage or a combo, but Oregon was a bit off GZ. After a bit of a search the cache was in hand and logged. Log is dry, but very muddy and FULL, needs replacing. Thanks to wombat warriors for bringing me here. Loved the Arches.
Well disguised and needs new paper. Don't own it and first time Geocaching so i don't want do the wrong thing! ! !
Made the find abit away from where my GPS was pointing me, likely due to the tall walls around the place.. I like the clever use of natural camo and the view from GZ.. Thanks Team Master Dragon for the hide and my # 1354 find..
Tricky find. Full of ants, probably due to the recent rains. Lots of Muggles around but very nice cache. Took the whole family on a bike ride tracing 4 caches. TFTC
This was my second attempt at the cache. The first time I was looking in the wrong place but also looking for the wrong type of cache. Read the description a little more carefully which, with the hint, changed my attention as to what/where I should be looking. Eventually, found the cache but had nothing to write with so I didn't sign the cache. Great hide! TFTC.

Had lunch under the big shady tree then tried to find the cache. Eventually gave up and walked to the Wall of Stone with more success. On return decided on one last effort - bingo, there it was. Well hidden. TFTC.
I actually had a go at finding this one just a few days ago but couldn't find it (and forgot to log a DNF)
but noticed it was found yesterday. So we added it to todays 'to do list'. Sure enough we found it, just that our co-ords were a little out. Cache however is not in the best of condition due to the recent rising water levels and the logbook is all but unsignable ( we did our best, just legible). Great hide though, but will need maintenance A.S.A.P. TFTC.

Needs new log asap. This one is completely saturated, sorry we dont have a spare one.
1905. Excellent conditions for the hunt - drizzle so virtually no muggles. But no cache either. After an extensive search we decoded the hint and found we had been focusing in the right place. So paid even more attention to the hinted item with still no joy. Ah well, I still haven't got the hang of micros although I did remember eventually to put myself in the mind of a hider. Seems I'm still somewhat mindless that way. A cache to look forward to on another rainy day. Thx.
Third DNF after dark.
We searched everywhere which matched the hint, but couldn't come up with the goods here.
Thanks anyways wombat warriors.
